"Well yeah, I guess that would be a bit scary at first. Shouldn't be so bad after time though, ne?" Bailey suggested, smiling lightly.
"Mhm." Shiraz replied, slowly making her way up onto the platform as well. "Just like t'takmehtim." The words were slurred by the way she mumbled them out, but the meaning was mostly evident.

"Yeah, yeah," Jordi said, heading for the slide again. She grinned back at the bear before shoving off, letting out a happy little "wee!" as she slid down. Since she was so tiny it was a very long way down.
"Yeah, I hope so," Chris said. "She's a cute little thing. But she's not like Jordi there. Jordi's not afraid of anything, practically. Might be because her nanny's a rock guy named Mortar, or might be because she's a dwarf."

The furred female shook her head a bit and followed her newfound companion down the slide once again. It may not have been as long for her, but it did feel interesting going down it what with so much fur.
"Could be." the red skinned boy intoned with a shrug, "My sisters aren't afraid of anything either. Though Shiraz's lack of fear seems more because it just isn't that scary to her and Ebony's is because she can't seem to see anything as bad besides being lonely. If she'd tagged along today, you might be in danger of getting snuggled, Ebs is severely affectionate even with total strangers."

"That," Chris said, "is what I would call scary." He looked around, as if someone wanting to snuggle Jordi would appear at any moment. "Think you should teacher her 'stranger danger?'"
"Is fun!" Jordi said joyfully, heading for the ladder once again as soon as her feet touched the floor. She would be stuck on the slide thing for hours, if allowed. She tended to have a long attention span.

"Who? Ebony? I've tried, believe me. So's our Mom. It doesn't really work, she just keeps saying hello to all the random people she has to see which she deems something pretty about - which seems to be everything." Bailey intoned, rolling his eyes a bit, "The girl is like a magnet for company."
"Yeah, Igesso. Tho' there's other stuffta do." the other girl responded as she climbed the ladder once more. Shiraz was getting tired of all this running and such and just said on the platform for a bit to take a break, watching Jordi's progress around.

"I like slide!" Jordi said, showing her obsession was nowhere near waning yet. She would, no doubt, calm down with age, but at the moment she loved going fast the most. "Is fast!"
"Yeah, well as long as you keep a close eye on her, I guess it's fine, right?" Chris said, wondering if that was true.

"S'upta you." the panda responded with a shrug, still watching her go around and around.
"For the most part, yeah. Mom's usually the one who takes her out and she's got a good enough eye to spot trouble and keep it away from Ebs so that's all good. Shiraz is a lot less worrisome in that respect, which I am glad for."

"I bet," Chris said. "Jordi, are you going to eat your food or not?" he called to the little girl, finally realizing that somewhere under his wrappers was her food.
"I slide!" Jordi called back, not really interested in food just yet. She didn't tend to notice hunger when she was on a roll.

Bails snorted at that. "She's the opposite of my sis in that respect, it seems. Shiraz would never pick playing over foodstuffs." he commented. Speaking of which, "Hey 'Raz! Your lunch is still over here."
The panda blinked up at him in surprise. Oh! Yeah! She'd had food still! She was playing because Bails wouldn't let her scarf it all at once. Quickly sliding down, the panda ambled over to take her sandwich from her brother and nibbling it.
"Shiraz, this is Chris. He's Jordi's friend." the boy introduced his sibling to the other male. Seemed like something she'd need to know at present.
The monotone girl blinked a bit at him before waving, smiling a little at him before going back to her sandwich.

He smiled at her. "Me and Jordi over there are cabbage kids, too," he mentioned.
Jordi would have gone on. She really would have. But she was now exhausted from running and climbing and running some more. Reluctantly she headed for the table where the others were and climbed up Chris's leg to sit on his lap and reach for her food. He handed it to her without a word.

"Neat." the panda commented with a smile, nodding. It might seem a bit dismissive, but she did truly find that neat and interesting, she just wasn't particularly expressive about such things.
Bails laughed and pulled the chubby bear up into his lap.

Jordi fell asleep in the middle of eating her fries. In fact one hung from her lips for a moment before falling onto Chris's jeans, drenched in ketchup. He sighed, picking it up and tossing it into the wrappers on the table. "I should get her home," he told the others. "Looks like she wore herself out." She fit in one hand, easily, and he took advantage of the fact to ball all the trash and toss it with easy accuracy into the nearest trashcan.
"It was nice meeting you two," Chris said as he stood. He didn't stand like a man. He stood like Tarzan from the Disney movie, save for the hand that held the little girl. One first was holding him up.

Bailey smiled warmly and waved. "Nice meeting you as well. Hopefully we'll see you both around." he intoned pleasantly.
"Bye." was all of Shiraz's response but she smiled a bit sleepily and waved as well. Seemed Jordi wasn't the only tired tot around.
"I should probably be getting you home too, little one." Bails commented, shifting the girl in his arms. Unlike her companion, Shiraz had long since finished up her food and was now slipping into the reaches of a happy after meal snooze.
