i just thought the hole thing was a joke no one asked him anything about the stuff he was saying just let it all slip by or if some one did ask him some thing hard about what he has said all he did was turn it around on them like with that plumber dude. on the other hand people were hammering McCain in to the ground about everything big or small.

Scythe of Relief The only reasons I've heard that people voted for Obama are 1 He's black 2 He'll make it easier on the "middle class" 3 He's black 4 People didn't want 4 more years of Bush 5 He's black 6 He never voted with Bush ( kinda hard to do when you don't vote anything but "present" ) 7 Did I mention he's black? Bush but not George Bush Jr., to me they were pretty much the same people.

He's black, in their eyes although technicially he's only half, and made empty promises to the poor and illegal immigrants. For some odd reason, so many women and younger people I know just love Democrats.

People that I know that voted for him voted for him because they "wanted to be a part of history by helping to vote in the first black president".
Other reason was just they always vote party line democrat.
Oh, and a few other rediculous ones were, "I don't want another Bush." and, "McCain is old. If he dies, PALIN would be our president!! Do you know how disaterous that'd be???"
Actually, I only VOTED for McCain BECAUSE of Palin... cool

I think a lot of people voted for him because they were pressured into thinking that if they didn't vote for him then they were rascist. My ex got called rascist over facebook because he refused to support Obama. I'm too young to vote, but I participate in protests and such because I don't want to have to pay for the mistakes our foolish govt is currently making when I'm too young to vote. It's just not fair to make the upcoming generations pay the tab for all the expensive bills that they keep passing! In the days before the election the obama supporters that were students of our school were ridiculously rude and even violent towards the McCain supporters!

Because they're racist and picked him because he's black.
Reminds me of the time I was talking to my friend about what Obama was doing to our country and our other friend chimes in "You wouldn't understand, you're white."
lol That was a racist comment right there.
She implied that I actually gave a flying leap about his skin color because I'm "white."
If people actually wanted to illiminate racism they'd stop with these categories that the progressives like to put us in.
They'd stop being so damn sensitive too. xd
By getting all upitty and offended by "racial slurs" people only fuel the fire of oppression. Think about it, if people just stopped getting offended, the real racists would get no pleasure out of it because they can't offend them anymore, thus they would eventually find no point in talking smack.
There's only one race anyways. HUMAN. All skin color is is pigment to protect us from the climate of the geographical region we come from. That's it. Nothing more. :]

So you're saying it's the media... no i was talking about the people. falling for the hope and change falling for the well Palin has no exp in running anything just a state when it was Obama that had no exp in running anything well i guess if you count running for office as exp but i dont. did any one see him on fox news last night?

Jin-soo kwon, McCain would be doing alot of the same things Obama is doing. he would have just done it slower so we wouldn't have noticed him doing it. (qouting Glen Beck that loveable phsycopath) if you drop a frog in boiling water, it will jump out. if you drop a frog in cold water and then boil the water, the frog won't notice it cooking it alive and die. but, i can't think of any leegit reasons people voted for obama save for his crazy amount of charisma. i heard he had actually paid bums or hobo's with free meals or something to get their votes during pre lims. but every other reason i've heard is just crap, like 'he's black' or 'he's hot.' Charisma is the only thing that guy has save for a plan. o.e

1. they wanted somebody 'young', 'hip', and 'cool' to run this country.
2. people thought a black president would be gosh darn good.
3. people didn't like Bush [I personally thought he was good] and they thought McCain would be like Bush
4. nobody even cares about politics [I do scream ] and they looked at the candidates and thought a black president would be cooler than an old white guy

His election was the result of sheep.Young people were really drawn to him because he made some pretty speeches.It sickens me really stressed , during the election a third of my school wore Obama shirts but when I tried to have an intellectual debate they just gave me headlight face sweatdrop
