I got into a debate in Sitefeedback about the PG-13 rating. X3
I've been watching The Colbert Report the past few days to see if he'll mention it at all, and other than a small "vote for me" flash at the end of last night's episode, he hasn't thus far.
I'm not worried about parents -- Colbert appeals to college kids more than anything else -- but I do wonder if Gaia is capable of holding up another massive flood of users.

The Community > Guilds page has ben updated! n_n What does everyone think about it?
Personally I'd like to see an option as to how many of a guild's recent posts show up. From 5 to maybe 20?

I kind of like it, I guess.... The messy, old-schoolish "here are two things to click" page was cuter. I get the more modern thing and it is cool, but I want to just see the topics in my guilds and that's it.
I don't give a s**t what other guilds are talking about. Xp

I thought that was kind of cool though XD We're spying on the enemy!
I love the modern look. Guilds is starting to feel more like part of the whole site instead of left in its little corner. :D And I like that. We can still hide them and make them private little hangouts, but they can be part of the Gaia community now if we want them to be. <33

Though many are upset with the final item requiring 500 eggs, I like the idea; it makes the final item more of a status item, and provides many users with a way to make a lot of gold from lazier users.
Plus, if it didn't take so many eggs, the fun would be over very quickly. x_x

Does anyone else enjoy clicking on the "recent discussions" tab located on the Guilds landing page, and clicking the OOC Discussion threads that pop up? I've found some neat guilds that way X3

I'll probably donate enough to get some of the items, and buy the rest in the Market Place. I'm surprised they didn't soulbound the items so we couldn't do that. surprised
Well, they're working on a gold-granting system right now that won't punish users for staying on one account for great lengths of time. But it probably won't roll out for months. gonk

O_o What? Y'mean like..... you can just go on mules and play daily chance and post for your diff 50 gold a day or something...
That might mean they'd implement some sort of non-mule rule. D:

Fleep has acknowledged that most users have at least one mule (and has mentioned some devs have them to avoid getting "omg eek it's a dev!" replies when they post.) It's too common to try getting rid of - especially since it doesn't hurt anything. 3nodding
And the eventual gold-granting system was mentioned by Sagger, and Lanzer vaguely mentioned it here. Sag said they hoped to discourage the necessity of mules, but again, I REALLY doubt they'd try to remove the use of mules completely. The GCD would murder them.
I love all of the items the goldsink grants. heart

Regardless of all the whining from your users (seriously, put on a helmet when you come into SF, guys!), you all genuinely seem to care about what your users want, and I think the community has flourished for that reason. RE Towns & Homes• Will there ever be a way to “reserve” neighborhoods on Towns so that friends can group their homes together again? (I hope so!) • Any plans to allow users to expand their houses even further? RE Guilds• Any plans to add guild posts to users’ past posts? Perhaps having an option to hide posts from certain guilds (or hidden/private guilds or posts in crew-only subforums) from your post history? • Any plans to allow users to purchase ad time to perhaps advertise their guild? So... umm...
I basically NEED the four new evolution items. 9technically it's one but you get a pick of four) The vials of dinosaur DNA! DINOSAUR ITEMS. D: WANT.
I think desperate times call for... Gaia cash card. I'm gunna wait for the first evolution to happen and then see, haha, I want them so bad. x3
