Melivent sneaked a look around the corner, making sure nobody was coming after him or would notice a dark figure stepping out of a shadowy alley. The rain once again pelted him like tiny bits of sand as he made his way down the street.
He walked in a straight line, other people bumping into him as they walked past. He walked past Kurai, stopping at what looked like a fancy building amid the rest of the buildings around.
Giving a single loud knock on the door resulted in a face at the door. Melivent leaned in briefly, then stood outside for a second longer before the door opened, letting him inside as he rushed in, another face looking left and right before disappearing behind the door with a loud slam.

Kurai felt something brush past her and she looked over to see someone seeming dark, walking past to to a large building. she watched, though hiding under the umbrella, as the figure looked around before entering, and the host or the door opener also looked around before closing the door.
Well that doesnt seem suspicious. she thought sarcastically as she changed her direction to a slightly diagonal way, and walked around the building, hoping not to be noticed, and hoping to see some sort of viewing window.
while looking for some sort of point, Kurai was thinking to herself. Didnt i see that person before? The bar maybe? she asked herself, putting down the umbrella to avoid any noise of rain on such a large source. he was pretty well hidden under whatever it was, so maybe i could be mistaken.
Her thinking was disturbed by teh earpeice once more. "What are you doing Kurai?" asked the deep voice.
"I have a bit of a study to look at. quiet, quick and secret." Kurai responded to the voice with a whisper.
"Dont do somethign stupid Kurai. It could be just about anything."
"Like a man running to the bar?" she responded with a tone that, as she could tell, upset the voice.
"Dont play games with me. just follow persuit of the suspicion, and report as soon as possible."
the voice went off before Kurai could respond, and then she continued looking until she came around to the side of the house. hopefully there might be a window there, with a good view.

As he neared town hall, an alarm went off at the nearby jewelry store. Telhan stopped walking and watched as cops rushed in, only to be blown away by a massive fireball. "Did they blow up the place?" He growled softly as he began to run towards the store.
Two figures walked out of the store, one pale and tall, the other somewhat short but muscular. They spotted him running towards them and grinned, pulling out their weapons. The tall one carried two hand sickles, both razor sharp, the shorter one pulling the mace out of the holder on his back.

Melivent took his jacket and cloak off, wringing the excess water from the rain out. The inside of the building he entered was completely dark, save for a dimly lit chandelier. underneath the clothes revealed a well built pair of arms, decorated with runes and symbols from the shoulder to just below the wrist.
"They're keeping an eye on us again" He spoke into near-darkness. An air of exasperated struggle could be heard in his voice as he hung the cloak and jacket on a nearby coat rack, leaving his gloves and head wrappings on a nearby table.
Melivent walked over to the center of the room and looked around. Though it was dimly lit, he could see as clear as day. The place resembled an abandoned mansion, with two staircases on opposite sides of the room leading to a balcony with four doors, two on the back wall and two more on either side. There were also two doors just underneath the stairs and there was a thin coat of dust and cobwebs on everything.

Kurai finally saw a window, though it seemed gray from veiw, and then headily went over to it. when she walked voer to it, she could see the inside of the window was gray and dusty, with barely anythign seen from it. she peered closer to the glass, attempting to see what was in side.
Its dark.... almost completely dark! i cant see a thing. she thought the obvious to herself as she looked around the inside of the house. No luck she thought.
she then heard a nearby faint, but fairly loud noise. it sounded like a faint alarm of some sort, and it threw Kurai off.
"Godamnit what the hell was that?" she whispered to herself as she ducked from the window. she looked down the way which she came from. listening to the trouble that apparently two people had caused.
"KURAI!" the earpeice went off, so loud it was almost as if it had a "speaker" button that she didnt press.
Kurai yelped an yanked the earpeice off from her head, dropping her umbrella to the ground. she then froze when she realized how loud she yelped. s**t! she thought as she stiffened and pressed her back against the wall, right underneath the window.
Damnit.... damnit.... she thought to herself. she placed her hands against the wall, and looking up to see if anyone would bother to open the window to hear anything.
she hoped no one had hear her. she would be ready if someone had to attack, but she hoped that wasnt the case. she could tell there was something else going on, and she needed to try to get there, if anything. She knew this after putting the earpeice back to her ear and listening to the reoprt of a burglary, as it seems, not far form Kurai at all.
"Kurai! You have to report to the area of the burglary! No time for games!"
Kurai gritted her teeth, waited for a second to see from the window, and then broke a run for it, out away from the side of the house, towards where the fire that arrived had come from.
she could see two figures coming out, both armed with weapons, and then watched as the others that had nothign on them run for their lives, or some viewing, from a distance, about it.
Kurai saw one person running towards the scene, which gave her a confused look, but she didnt say anythign about it. she walked closer to where the scene was, and looked around her surroundings to see what happened. she placed her hand on her belt, and waited to see if they would attack first, or if she had to.

(if youre talking about my person lyn you need to edit your post i was running) He jumped into the air when he was close enough and pulled out his sword, slamming it down onto the guy with the mace, the handle of the mace protecting the guy from his skull being severed. He backed away from the one with the mace, barely missing the sickle that reached for him.

Kurai decided to put herself in to help, though she wasnt sure where to start.
she then put her hands together and started mingling along with the hands, adjusting the gloves. when she was finished, four studded blade came from the gloves on each hand.
this is going to be something... she thought to herself while making sure the blades were still intact with the gloves.
she then watched for a millisecond before charging at the one with the sickle, her arms curled up ready for a defensive as well as offensive attack.

Telhan saw a female approach wearing only glove and growled. "Get out of her, youre not equipped well enough to fight this type of battle." He tried t push her away the felt a sharp pain as he felt the mace hit his back. "Aggh damn it..."

Kurai didnt answer or anything, but was taken aback when he pushed her out of the way only to get hit by a mace behind the back.
she then curved her body to move around the man when he was hit, and pushed herself in the air by her foot, her other one behind her.
she then came up to the man with the mace, and swung her whole leg around towards him, sending a strong and durable kick to his lower part of the chin
However she was fast enough with her agility to grab the man's face before he flew back, placing a hand on each side of the mans temple, and flew her head backwards, only to thrust it forwards and send her forehead straight against his, attempting to knock him out or at least have him lose balance and take a bit to gather himself again.

Melivent heard a sound nearby, quickly whipping his head towards a nearby window. Rushing over to it with incredibly fast speed, he rubbed the glass pane with a balled-up fist and peered outside through the grime. He was quite sure he heard two voices, though nothing was in sight.
Ducking back away from the window, he spoke again into the shadow as he made for the door, grabbing his items as he covered up again. "Someone followed me. They know our location now. I leave to distract them."
Racing up one of the stairways, he left through one of the side doors and appeared on the rooftop. The rain had stopped, and sunlight was beginning to peek through the clouds.
Damnit... He thought. The sun just HAD to come out now.. He turned to the side and made for the building nearby as he lept and clung to the side, heading for the higher rooftop when he heard a scream from down below. Someone saw him.

He staggered up then faced the one with the sickles. "Well maybe she wont but in this time, after all he needed the money and if they see that the female fought both off he wouldnt get anything. He picked up his sword and faced the guy.

)( sorry o-o; )(
Kurai staggered back a bit when she landed back on hre feet, the hit to the head was somethign she doesnt really do, and it wasnt a soft impact either.
she turned her hea to see the man was still up, and he was against the other man, who instead of a mace had a sickel or a scythe of some sort.
How is that guy being able to stand while still taking a hit by a large metal ma-
her thoughts was disturbed when heard something, which turned out to be an angry and confused man with a large weapon, who swung hard and fast at her.
she dropped quickly, her legs stretching open and laying flat on the ground, a split forming as she missed the mace completely.
she then slid her feet together, forming a small click from her boots. she leaned back her head, dodging yet another swing, and her back laid on the ground, her feet lifted and kicked the mace out of the mans hand, and then flipped her legs to the ground, being able to stand back up quickly and easily.

Telhan tried to ignore the pain from the hit but it just kept coming in wave after terrible wave of pain. "Thanks alot who ever you are...i may have dense skin, but it still doesnt protect me from a bone shattering hit like that." He said to the female, sarcasm evident in his thanks. He laughed at his misfortune and parried lunge after lunge from the one with the sickles.

Kurai turned her head to the man after he said something, and tried not to bother with it, but couldnt help herself.
"Not my problem you decided to waste your time trying to protect me." she said, right before running towards her opponent, grabbing his own mace, which was NOT light, and then swung it to his stomach like a bat; the man coughing up blood and hunching over on his knees.
She knew she wasnt this harsh for anyone before. it was a long time ago, it felt, that she was actually nice and could do what she could with her own time, instead of being told to attack people and so on. She had done somethign similar, but no one was to tell her who to fight, besides the referees when she was the personal neighborhood fighter. Good times, good times
She saw the man try to get back up. She dropped the mace, leaving it on the ground, walking over to the struggling and losing opponent, and lifted his head.
she held back a fist, and then thrusted it forward and slammed right on the nose, causing something to break in there. She then grabbed his temple, and threw his head at the ground, the body following after, knocking him out, or maybe even killing him. she couldnt tell yet.
she looked back at the man who tried to help her before, and then moved a small lock of hair away from her face.
"Are you going to finish that?" she asked him while pointing at the man with the sickle, sarcastically and in a bit of humor.
