Zuberi laughed as the older pup ran a head of him. He didn't seem to have any specific direction he was heading in. He ran towards the log that the older dog had ran into and peeped his head in before jumping on top of it and running the length of it and spotting a rock covered in moss.
Zuberi ran over to the rock and noted all the insects that were crawling around by it "Hey" Zuberi called to Jua, "Look at this I bet if we can manage to tip it over I bet there are some awesome creatures underneath it."
Zuberi was very excited about finding new things to learn about.

"You're such a nerd." Jua laughed jokingly. He had to admit, it was fun being with someone who was so interested in everything. It brought out things that he'd never known before.
Trotting over to where Zuberi stood, he looked at the log for awhile, then looked around for something that they might use as a lever. Of course- nothing. Jua rolled his eyes as he realized that this would take actual labor, and sighed deeply, nudging his small shouler up against the old log.

Zuberi laughed as the other dog joined him to push the log over, he was excited to see what was underneath. Give it his all with the other dog there were able to roll the log over slightly to uncover a whole world of creepy crawlers. Zuberi jumped back to inspect all the creatures. He had never seen so many bugs in one place, heck he hadn't seen some of these creatures before period.
"Look at them all" Zuberi exclaimed it was amazing what could live underneath a log. He pawed at the bugs slightly and barked excitedly when they scattered. Of course this only held his interest for a moment, and he had grown bored, he started to run deeper into the wooded area.

Keeping up with such an energetic pup had begun to drain Jua. He had never run around so much in his life, and was almost beginning to regret coming with him.
Following Zuberi into the deeper woods, Jua's yellow eyes flicked about; he knew the dangers that could lurk in the woods, and knew that two pups out alone could entice predators. "Wait up!" not wanting to be seperated from his companion, Jua ran faster, his adrenaline now fueling his movements.

Zuberi paused and looked around him, he was a little unsure of the dangers that were ahead of him, how had he made it this far into the forest. He turned at the voice of the other pups voice, "Ok I will wait." He answered his voice a little shaky.
He stood waiting for Jua, "Sorry I ran so far ahead, I tend to get ahead of my self, it isn't often that I am out during the day, I like to explore all I can." Zuberi took another look around the forest that now surrounded him. He wasn't so sure he wanted to be in the forest anymore, he wasn't sure that he felt so safe here, even though the trees were shading him from the hot sun.

"It's okay, I guess." Jua's voice was raspy as he caught up to the other pup. The deep woods had a cold feeling to them, and Jua wanted to leave and return to the warmth of the sun. "I'm just not used to being so active." he smiled and slumped on the ground briefly, catching his breath. "I think we should go back; it's a little creepy in here." he looked around at all of the unfamiliar things, and hated how it all faded to black just a few yards from him.

Zuberi glanced around the forest that was surrounding him again, he needed no more prompts from Jua, "Yea I think you are right, lets head back a bit" Zuberi loved to explore but the forest was kind of creepy, particularly how dark and dense it was getting, its not like he could explore much that deep in the forest anyways there wasn't enough light, he told him self to justify his wimping out and leaving.
Zuberi started walking back towards the way he had come, he wanted to run, but now that he had began thinking about how creepy this place was he didn't want to be too far from Jua, there was safety in numbers right? He kept glancing around him to make sure there was no threat there, he wasn't sure he was walking back the right way, he hoped he was. He decided to stick his nose to the ground and try to catch the sent path they would have left coming in.

Jua kept his eyes open; he didn't want anything to sneak up on him. He was glad when he finally saw the light of the sun peering in though the trees, and picked up his pace, not running so he would stay with Zuberi.
It had been an exciting day, and Jua had far exerted his energy, doing as much as he would normally do in about a week's worth of time. It was fun, though, and he was happy that he had made a new friend, especially one that was his age. Hanging around pups that weren't his siblings, at least everyone but his own twin, really drained him, and so this new experience was good.
"I may have to get going soon." he glanced up at the sky, which had been turning increasingly red as they wandered out of the forest. "I had a lot of fun with you. And since we live so close to each other, maybe we can play again sometime." he smiled, wagging his tail happily as his tongue fell out of his mouth.

Zuberi was also excited when they got out of the forest, he glanced up at the sky, the sun was starting to get lower in the sky, he knew that he should be heading home, he had to get home before his mom woke up and asked him where he had been all this time.
"I would like to come play with you and soon, I promise not to be so energetic next time, I just don't get to get out and about during the day its against the pack's ways... we are all nocturnal." Zuberi explained. He had liked meeting this new dog, and they were very close in age, and he wanted to make sure they would have a chance to play again sometime.
" I guess this is goodbye for now, I will try to come back again soon." Zuberi said as he turned to start heading back towards his pack lands, if he got back fast enough he would be able to get a few hours of sleep before he was expected to get up for the evening.
