It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Kaethe looked at the clock on the wall. She was surprised at how much time had passed her by. Normally she sat watching the clock waiting for an acceptable time to head to class. Today, she would not be early like she usually was. Kaethe did not mind though, because she felt she had made a very good friend this morning. Kaethe smiled, and looked at Merenwen then said "We should get going.", then got up and threw away her trash, and waited to walk to class with Merenwen. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

The first class of the day was English and they were told to read in their books the whole period. Merenwen sat in the desk next to Kaethe and wrte notes to her as she read.
She passed along her first note to her.
I wish we were rading something different...

I know, this book is not that interesting. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

Merenwen read Kaethe's note and smiled at her. She skimmed through the chapter they had to read and hoped the class would end soon.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Kaethe quickly read through the chapter that was assigned then sat and thought about volunteering tonight. She was very excited for it, she had a feeling that tonight would be the night that an animal chose her. She had been going for two months now, and today just felt different than the other days.
She smiled at Mer, and then looked at the clock. Today was going by so slowly. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

Merenwen looked at the clock again. Five more minutes...c'mon clock move a little faster. She thought. Kaethe looked just as impatient as she felt. Merenwen sighed and thought about how much fun volunteering would be. Particularly now that she had a new friend. Merenwen smiled at the thought. The bell rang which made Mere jump in shock. She looked at Kaethe and said, "Well, I must be off to music class. Where do you go next?" She hoped she had music too, tho she wasn;t sure if she had seen her in the class before. She normally didn't pay too much attention to other students while she was playing her violin.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Kaethe was startled when the bell rang. She had been deep in thought. Then she looked up at Mere, and smiled. Mere had jumped also, this made Kaethe giggle.
"Unfortunately, I make my way to fencing. So we part here, what do you have third?" Kaethe asked. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

Merenwen groaned, ugh, third period. "I have math. You?" She hated math. Just thinking about it gave her a headache.

Music class went by in a blur. It always did when she was having fun playing her instrument. It was particularly fun today because she had a violin duel wth three other students playing Korobushka. She couldn't keep up with the fast pace and just laughed. Once the bell rang she packed up her insrument and left, heading to math along the way. She waited outside the door for Kaethe until the bell rang.

Kaethe came dashing to the Math room just after the bell rang. She was usually always late to math because she took her time walking outside. It didn't help that math was on the opposite side of the campus from the field house. She met Mere's eyes, very glad to be with her friend again and smiled, "Ready to crunch some numbers?"

Of course math had to drag on and on. Merenwen didn't even here what the teacher was talking about. Something about quadractic formulas or something like that. But her mind was daydreaming. She scribbled on her paper mindlessly while visioning herself in another world. When the bell rang she was surprised to find herself asleep. Merenwen looked at Kaethe and asked, "Did we get any homework? I can't believe I fell asleep."
