Somehow, I think Kaoru'd be the more depressed one.
Although, the manga seems to be taking it into that sort of direction, anyway. I don't know if they can be really separated (as in, never see each other again sort of way), but I think the manga is looking to bring their relation as being one person into two established individuals.
Which sucks. sad Er, I mean, isn't that luvly?! (If you don't fancy the Hitachiincest... Boo.)

that would be horrible! hikaru cant go with out his double! that will be a sad and lonely day...... *tear drop* i like them the most! i think their theme song is the siamese cat song. lol
I can't imagine them not together! Hikaru would probably be a bigger trouble maker than now, you know, without Kaoru. I think Kaoru might take it harder though...
