Raider83 Absolute Imperfection Raider83 Anyone got any recommendations for string guages for Std C tuning? .12-.56's.
That'll give you a nice, deep, crunchy sound. Hmm... I like the sound of that. I'm using 10-54 and I tune to Eb on my guitars but I decided to tune my Kelly to Std C. The brighter strings will take some getting used to tho.
Anyone know the average guage for the B on a 7 string? I'm pretty sure the B on a 7 is a .56 xD
I'm using .46's and i'm in Eb... i'll probably end up going down to Drop Bb though xD I like the kinda... weird sound you get from having too light a gauge.as if on fire24 DR Black Beauties. Simply because they look great on my modded Gibson Les Paul. ninja BTW any suggestions on string gauges for Dropped C tuning?
I would use .54's or .52's.
