Guardian of Myhrr The mule has, in possession already, these rings: Taunt Knife Sharpen Meat Hot Foot Mantis Dervish Diagnose Healing Halo Ghost Keen Aye Bandage Scaredy Cat Turtle Gumshoe Most of them are CL1-CL4, but they're still nice prizes. If we leave it as choice of a ring, then instead of buying one, we'll just offer those as choices. I was figuring that the Mantis, Dervish, would be the most popular, but Scaredy Cat, Diagnose, Bandage, Ghost and Meat are also all nice rings! sounds good

Alright, winner gets to pick the ring. I guess we'll offer 250 tickets at 1000 gold each? (That price and ticket amount is still in question).
I don't mind running around and collecting some orbs to level up a ring or two if needed. I don't have much use for them anymore ^^;

Hmm, I could always buy one and level it up to CL10, I have A LOT of unused orbs in stock.If you like for the prize we could trade the ring to you to level up before sending it on to the winner. And I think we should let the winner pick one of the rings from that list as the main prize and we can set 1-5 smaller prizes. However many tickets we sell the total gold if all tickets are sold should add up to something between 100,000 and 200,000 GG. Maybe offer 200 tickets for 1000 GG each? We could give out one of those boxes we discussed before as a second place prize. Yah, that would be fine! I have 4000+ useless orbs right now. We should trade it so they don't turn out Soulbound! If we don't get enough, I have a few things I could sell and use as donations anyway!!

I think 1000gg per ticket is a little high since it excludes a lot of people who dont have much gold. I know the clan needs to at least break even, but isnt there another way?

Gothichearts: Would it be better to have tickets for 500 GG? I noticed that no-one who bought tickets ever bought less than about 500 GG worth so that should be fine. And we could increast the ticket number a bit to maybe 300-400 tickets.
Ingou, I'm fine with giving out BOTH a pick of a ring and some easter items. We have the rings anyway, and we can get a Black Drome Egg and a White Drome Egg, for the prizes. Or a Pantheracorax Agate if people like that better. And we could give a little easter gift to everyone who participates!

Thanks Elf, I didnt mean to overstep my bounds, I was just worried that if we exclude some people, then we might lose a lot of members. I think 500 would be a great price!

Are all of you rich or something? 500 is still too much for me to afford right now.

Should probably make it at most 100gg per ticket. otherwise we could make the tickets like 10gg and have a max quota for everyone who enters.

plasmafire Should probably make it at most 100gg per ticket. otherwise we could make the tickets like 10gg and have a max quota for everyone who enters. If I remember correctly, our January Raffle had 1000 tickets for 100GG. Good deal. And almost every ticket was sold! I reckon 900-1000 tickets for 150GG.

I think 100 - 150gg would be a good price. Then everyone could afford to participate. And 1000 tickets with a purchase limit would allow everyone to get some.
But how much are the rings selling for in the market place? And the other items mentioned... We dont want to come out in the hole.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but I don't think I can handle 1000 tickets again. My brain seriously got fried looking at the numbers constantly. The prices weren't set that high to exclude everyone, that's why it's in discussion currently (We can always push the actual start of the raffle to be for next month)
If we do 1000 tickets at 100 gold each again, then I might have to either step down as the host for the raffle or have one other person help out. It was really hectic last time with all the random number giving I had to do.
Or, we could do the 1000g price and 250 tickets for the first trial of a ring raffle and see where this takes us. Since this would only be the second raffle we've held, a bit of trial and error might generate more ideas and approaches. *Shrugs.*
