Rei-Ku
"Hey, Reiku-kun... you won't be mad at us, will you?" the woman caressed the young child's hair with one hand. There was no reply from the child however as all its systems were in hibernation mode and weren't functioning. Dressed in the Order's uniform the boy looked like a stunning, life-sized doll. It made the woman sigh. She was but one of the remaining members of that team that had envisioned this madness that produced everything. She wasn't God. Not even her other associates had the right to call themselves that. The only person who had the right to refer to himself as such had been the Architect and the old man had died long ago. His fragmented creation was inherited by his disciples and saw many reincarnations in their hands in their tries to make it perfect.
Rei-Ku, formally unit number 09 and Primary Unit number 02 was her responcibility... she was the one that was going to press the erase button and then go through the trouble of fabricating thirteen years of memory data in order to implant them on that beautiful drive of his... and then of course she'd have to find an appropriate family to care for him. The same counted for Primary Unit 01, the poor thing she had recovered from her colleague by force in order to save it. She barely made sense of the man nowadays and it was becoming tiring... and of course she couldn't allow him to soil the Architect's perfect Creation with his foolish dreams of darkness and destruction.
"Eh, Reiku-kun... don't be mad, okay? Really..." she hooked him up on her main computer, a monster with a hard-drive of one Petabyte, custom-made OS and the strongest processors in the world. It was really a jewel, monstrous maybe, but a jewel nontheless.
She typed something until a screen came up asking for confirmation. She pressed the enter button and entered her password.
