If he said "yes," I'd shoot him and take the money.

You cant go grabbing a gun for no reason anymore, they make you wait 5 days for a background check and if they find you dangerous, they dont sell it to you, if they think you're harmless based on your records, they just give you the gun.
ammo costs extra if you go buying a gun.
and the good stuff is expensive as hell.
Magnums for starters, awesome powerful weapons, but the ammo is insanely pricey.

It's true. It seems like every crackjob out there can get his hands on a gun.
And, what if it's to someone who just recently cracked? There won't be anything on their records, so they'll get the gun. Then they can go all happy-go-lucky downtown.

Yeah, you can't do a 'future check' on somebody to see what they're gonna do with the gun.
