My understanding is that they are half the level of your total CL rounded up. Total CL of 4.5 produces a ring at 2.3, I don't know for sure, though, seeing as how Nicolae won't talk to me...

Since the update went through you can't get any more Null Fragments, so what you have is what you have. No real sense in saving them...

I browse the zOMG! forums often, and I'm seeing that people are saving at least one as a memento, and a few people are saving them all in anticipation for new rings (Although, no new rings have been announced, just much desired by a lot of people) and for an extension to the game (again, not announced, but wanted)

Some of the wanted rings are amusing, especially the much wanted "n00b" set. and I think I would actually prefer the ability to equip more rings, although I don't know how that would work. I've never actually seen anyone wearing rings on their thumb. I just have a hard time choosing between rings at times.

You've never seen people with thumb-rings? I've seen quite a few... I don't know how that would affect ring sets though.
I've seen the suggestion that two complete ring sets interact to form a tertiary effect, and I think that's a better idea than more rings.

Oh I might save just one as a keepsake but if you do get a ring that is half your CL then I want to get the one ring I have nulls for once I'm up to ten. That way I can complete any set that I need one ring for and it'll come already at like level 5. That is my only reasoning.
