GOD_OF_DEATH_RYUK and another thing, there are plenty of rape flash games online, but i see no one doing anything about them, and there is also way worse stuff than rape online, i mean, my friends 9 year old sister typed pokemon in google and it came up with a picture of mewtwo raping another pokemon, what about that, i think it is way easier for kids to see and be influenced by online, i don't think a 9 year old is going to "accidentally" order this game online, and the people who do order it's not like they are gonna say "oh, a game about raping people, i'm gonna go out and rape someone" as long as it isn't hurting anyone in real life then let the sick people play it, chances are, if they are into that kind of thing anyways they are socially awkward and they are just gonna find worse stuff online now i'm not completely against banning it or anything it's just that.....what's the point? more is just gonna be made, and i don't think you can stereotype a whole country over one game, and i think they are making a bigger deal than should be, look at GTA, there is prostitutes, killing the prostitutes, killing people over drugs, killing civilians, that seems worse, just because maybe it isn't as graphic doesn't mean it isn't as bad, granted there was controversy, but not coming close to banning it That's slightly different. Any half brained parent can simply block internet access to certain sites. And we're not talkign about downloadable content, for God's sake there's worse things on the internet and it's impossible to completely police it. What we're talking about is a commericilized game that is horrifically innappropriate for selling in the United States. And that type of commerce falls under the authroity of the Federal Gov't, meaning they have the right & authority to ban it. This is not an attack on games, it's a justificable attack on one game. How is this ban wrong?

Just to clarify, I didn't say we should not ban the game, it has no right being sold here or anywhere that was not the intended market.
We can't go and punish the developers because they did not make the game for sale in our country, or any country that doesn't start with a "J" and end with an "APAN."

Japan is a cultural cesspool, they seem to sexually thrive on stuff that'd make even Ron Jeremy say "That's ******** up", and what's amazing to me is that you are actually attempting to defend this filth by trying to fall behind "freedom". We may not be able to police the world, but we can keep our standards untainted. I certainly wouldn't call myself a pure soul, in fact, I was a sexual deviant in high school (getting at least a HJ from every girl in my theater class, and had some same sex relations as well), and half the s**t I see come out of Japan disgusts me. They glorify rape, thrive off of representing underage women in sexual situations, they take "alternative" to a level that escapes the meaning of that word. There is just something wrong about that industry. And how people here are trying to defend it honestly troubles me. That rape sim is getting its rating and sales, while MadWorld isn't even going to be sold in Japan. Then again, the Japanese can sometimes contradict them selves on this, with movies at least. What they will do to let everyone know they have the Wii too is sometimes...trying to hard. Anyways, like I said, we can ban the game here, but we can't punish the company for something they didn't do. They made the game for the Japanese market, not ours, and it's the sick twisted idiots trying to make a buck off of sicker twisted idiots by selling some sick twisted s**t not meant to be sold in their country that need to be worked over.

If everyone has a What's the Point attitude nothing would get accomplished. People have been trying to get GTA banned since the first one! Manhunt was banned in Australia because a guy played it and then started killing people in a style similiar to it, and people tried to get both 1 & 2 banned in the U.S. The internet is a HELL of a lot harder to even attempt to censor and regulate. PLus, anyone who posts illegal sexual content and can be found is arrested, procescuted and gets jail time among other things. Rape is enough of a problem in this country without a rape sim making its way over here. The bottom line is the game needs to be banned. And as for all this "well we shouldn't punish the company" crap- 1st of all we can't because it's a Japanese company. Viking and I are just wishing we could. 2ndly, that's like saying Mamadons (women who own sex slave shops - usually under the alias of "massage parlors") shouldn't be prosecuted. -- & here's why that's the same thing. The victum's bodies are treated as products whose usage can be sold to Johns, much like the company producing this filth is producing a product that is sold off to various customers. And since they both involve rape, they're related. EDIT: But sadly the company's can't be prosecuted because apparently this type of filth is perfectly legal. Also, when the Japanese got the printing press...didn't they use to mass produce porn?
