"Indeed, but it will eventually take its toll on them." Adriel folded his arms across his chest. He looked over his shoulder at the girl. ".....Zyk is uneasy around me, its common on overprotective pokemon. That, and I am also a danger to you. He might lack eyes, but not sight. He knows I am twice your size and what I am capable of. Its understandable that he gives me warnings." He grinned. "As I say, I study pokemon behavior, that also extends to their domestic type. If Faraon thought you to be a threat to me, he would be more cautious, or rather he wouldn't had let you see him, but he knows I can take care of myself just fine."
Faraon gave a friendly growl up towards his trainer. He slowed his pace until he was align with Zyk and Zinnia. "(Come here, little bat, we must speak....)"

Zyk fluttered off of Zinnia and hovered over the persian. "(Your human would well if he'd be a bit kinder,)" Zyk squeaked to the large cat. "(She is just lonely for a companion of her species. She does not have a colony, though she insists that the Team contains all her friends...)" Zyk allowed his distaste to show. Team Rocket was not a friend of Zinnia, no matter what they said to sweet talk her.
"I'm not afraid!" Zinnia said. "I don't think that you'd hurt me. I'm just a little girl, after all," she said pointedly.

The persian tilted his head slightly. "(The jester would not damage your human, he has no need to.)" He huffed, his ears moved back and for slowly. "(Your human, then, has chosen wrongly. This human does not belong to her pride...he won't accept her. I kind not make him kinder, he dislike humans, he only tolerates them, an befriends only a couple. I can assure you, your human will not fall into that group...)" The large feline gave a soft growl.
"I did not claim that you were afraid, child." He smirk over his shoulder. "But if you were, it wouldn't surprise me....after all...I am just a creature of the night, ready to kill and maim." He looked away, the moonlight shone off his pupils.

Zyk twitched an ear in irritation. "(She's young and wants to be accepted. It isn't her fault. But if your human does try to harm Zin, I will poison him!)" Zyk bared his tiny fangs. "(Though I do wish that she would give up. But I can't make her listen.)"
Zinnia laughed. "You can't scare me! I am a Rocke-- I mean, um... I'm a brave person, after all." Zinnia tripped over a tree root and grabbed the back of Adriel's black coat to stop herself from falling.

The persian let out a loud growl. "(Why don't you listen? I have told you, and he himself has told you, he will not hurt the female. He has no interest in her in any field or phase or type.)" He bared his own fangs at the flying rat, really, how thick can his skull be?
Adriel stop and face her, grabbing her chin gently so they would see each other eye-to-eye. "Team Rocket stole from me a month of my life and most of my health. The gods will only know what else." His eyes narrow. "So you be careful, little girl. All these slip-ups you are making could get you kill." He let go of her chin and began walking once again. "But not by me. I don't hunger tonight."

Zyk huffed at the huge cat. "(There are many forms of hurting,)" he replied. He cocked an ear at what Adriel said next and fell silent, allowing the human's hard words to prove his point.
Zinnia stopped walking for a moment, stunned. She then had to run to catch up. "It must've been a different Team Rocket," she said. "My team wants to better the world of pokemon, not hurt people!"

The feline huffed again and listen to the healer.
Adriel stopped and this time glared towards Zinnia. "Team Rocket has only ever stand for one thing and one thing alone: Power. That's all they will ever want. If that is what they are telling you, then they are lying to you."

Zyk began to get agitated again. "(Zinnia knows nothing except Team Rocket. I don't particularly care about what humans call good and evil, but if your human destroys her fantasy, he will regret it.)" Zyk tensed once more. Zinnia was very stubborn, but if her dream of Team Rocket was shattered, she could become depressed. Or worse. It was surprising how much the girl relied on the suspicious group, Zyk realized. He had never thought about it before.
"You're wrong," Zinnia said earnestly. She halted when Adriel did. "What they do is misunderstood by a lot of people, but it's for the better overall. You'll see! They have to obtain things the hard way, sometimes, in order to further their scientific research. But what they do is for the good of everyone, humans and pokemon alike! If they were accepted by the public, the world could be revolutionized. But for now, we have to operate in secrecy, until everyone else realizes the good that Team Rocket is!" Zinnia's brown eyes sparkled with emotion.

Adriel's eyes narrow. "Child, you know nothing at all if you believe such things. I have seen the most horrible things in the bases of Team Rocket. Do not tell I am wrong after what I have seen."
The persian sighed. "(Leaving her blind of what Team Rocket have done and are doing is unfair to her. A world can be rebuilt when it crumbles down and it ban be build better then around such group)"

Zyk sighed. "(You may be right, but Zin is stubborn. I don't think that she will believe your human. She grew up thinking that the Team was good. As I said before, I have no opinion on them. I haven't any proof that they do the horrible things that I've heard people say that they do. Zin is shielded from the worst wrongs for both her and Team Rocket's protection. She has seen nothing to change her opinion...)" Zyk fell silent, but continued to hover over the persian. Using echolocation, Zyk "watched" the scene and waited.
Zinnia was silent. She stared sullenly up at Adriel for a while, but then looked at the ground. Her hands were clenched into fists and were trembling. Quietly and more to herself than Adriel, Zinnia said, "You're wrong." She still refused to look at the tall man.
Zyk easily heard Zinnia's quiet voice with his acute ears. He sighed again. "(Could we at least take shelter with you for a short time? Just to rest before we continue on our way?)"

Adriel began to laugh like she had told him the funniest joke ever. He calmed down all to soon, sobering up with a wide smirk. "Beleive as you please, but you will soon find out what truly lies in this world, child. "
Faraon looked at Adriel then at Zyk with his blind eyes. "(He holds a bullet by his heart because of Rocket, he holds seven scars because of them. My trainer lost three months of his life to a sleep that could had been eternal.)" The persian bared his fangs at the thought. "(Do not tell me that those humans called Rockets hold anything but a vile in them that will kill this world)"
He began to moved. "(...while I disagree on doing this, I see we cannot get rid of you until we do....MY human needs to eat and he needs rest before he can go back to fixing the damage of others...)" He grabbed the healer's hand between his jaws and began to pulled on it towards the direction they both knew his camp was in.
Adriel glared for a moment. "Very well, as you wish, Faraon."

Zinnia watched uncertainly as the persian bit his trainer's hand. She assumed that the cat was just angry and spewed out questions once more. "Did that hurt? What did he say? Where are you going? Can I come? Please?" She practically skipped behind the two strangers.
Zyk listened to the persian carefully before he gave a reluctant, "(.... Thank you. I am in your debt.)" Zyk landed on Zinnia's shoulder again and folded his wings. He nibbled her ear gently to reassure her.

Adriel wished the girl would shut up, really his ears could no take this abuse as he began to walk and the persian let his hand free. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he took a deep breath. "My persian can be extremely gentle when he wants to be, if you care to notice, there is no mark on my hand. He wants us to go back to camp so we may eat." He decided to not answer the rest, for he did not know what he would do. Probably choke the girl.
The feline pokemon turned his head up at him and gave a little nod.

"Well, I can't really see when it's this dark," Zinnia pouted. "What, do you have the eyes of a crobat?" Zinnia sighed, petting Zyk on his fluffy head. She sighed again, louder this time, when the zubat gave her a poison-free n** to make her do what he wanted. "...... Thank you," she said finally, knowing what her pokemon wanted.
Zyk gave a satisfied chirrup. Zinnia sometimes needed to be reminded of her manners.

"If you were smart, you would had bother to bring a light, moonlight or not, this woods are dark at the night." The healer continue walking. "Your welcome and yes, I have the eyes of a crobat, or rather the ones of persian."
Faraon rolled his blind eyes for a moment as he stepped forward, being quiet tired of the charade.
