Actually, the problem is I have too many ideas on who the guardian could be. I have several OC's that could take the role, but I'm leaving it blank since I tend to snatch up B/C kids faster than a fat kid snatches up cake. XD So, it's constantly in flux on who the guardian would be, since I keep getting kids and some families are getting full.

Originally, it was going to be Greloren. Currently, he's still on the list, though he does have a kid himself now. I had also had an idea for a new character that could be the guardian around the time I submitted this. I have used Greloren before in a couple of the contests (the one for Zul was one where he was used and approved, though I switched to a different one for the contest for the King Cobra due to Greloren not being... an ideal guardian... XD).

I suppose I could put Greloren up there... even if it might change between now and whenever I finally get a Raevan... XD

Hello two and a half year old thread.

Completely redone. I like the Liquid Diamond concept, but I'm seeing a lot of liquid essences in the quests area.

Plus, this new one would be fun to play with!!

I really like this Essence idea, Niki! It's cute, simple, to the point, follows essence constraints, and you seem to have a good idea of what powers you want to derive from it. That's a fantastic start!
I also have to say, I'm eager for another ice Raevan what with Roux's passing and I believe this is different enough that he won't tread too closely. Though, with the Raevan being female, I'd be very careful that she not be too similar to Zurine.

That said, I'm not quite sure why at the moment (and I apologize for that) but I feel like the otter isn't a very good match for this essence. Because I can't quite word why, obviously you don't need to pay attention to this if you don't want to, but it just feels like the two don't really click. While some difference in essence and soul is of course encouraged, it just almost seems like this soul is sort of... bland by comparison, I guess is what I'm saying. Unfortunately I don't have any suggestions except for the fact that I really liked your white rhino soul from the sale but I feel like that wouldn't be a great fit for this essence either.

Maybe because snow flakes are so delicate, though, either a delicate soul should go with it or something very sturdy at the opposite end of the spectrum. Don't be afraid to experiment with things that aren't animals, like mythical creatures, plants (there's only four plant souled Raevans), or even something different like a mineral or gem (Kalec's soul was Titanium!!!).

...Now that I think about it, a wolf with this essence would be ungodly amounts of awesome, but take my suggestions with a grain of salt c: <3

Hmmm, I'll post a few ideas here and see what people think.

Cactus (Not sure what type, but CACTAUR RAEVAN?)
Dandelion (Though, more white in the seed pod, but at least some color in the actual flower!)
Glass frog (Dunno on this, but it could be cool....)
Dragonfly/Damselfly

OMG! A cactus soul with your snowflake essence would look absolutely amazing! And I can just see the conflicting nature of the Raevan now and it just...uhhhhh! Do it! Do it! Lol!

Oh and I just wanted to say, keep a running list of soul ideas and essence ideas. Souls will probably fall in and out of favor with you from time to time and essences will more than likely change or be scraped altogether as time goes on, but at least you will see your progress as this happens and feel much more confident of your choices if and when you get to actually use them. Plus it's always good to have back ups in case one just falls through completely because Kyou has final say of course.
