Scout merely stepped out of the way of the flames, his confidence had risen and he felt rather good about his last attack.
“Good job Scout! Lets try Fury Swipes again!”
Scout bared his teeth in an almost twisted smile, rushing at his ninetales friend and swiping at her like mad.

Yoake lept out of the way catching the attack among her many tails instead. Painful as it was that's all she could do as she felt her energy levels getting low.
Lixue was secretly smiling. Scout was showing what he was made of for once and it pleased her, though she was rather sad he couldn't do this when she commanded him. Ah well....best to see what happens. " So the tables have turned......Yoake, Flamethrower!"
Yoake belted out another flamethrower spraying the grassy field with yet more fiery balls.

Scout could feel his energy getting really low, and he tried to dodge her flamethrower attack, but still managed to get singed. “Weavile-wea!”
“Ok Scout let’s cool things down a bit, Ice Punch!”
Scout glared at Yoake as his paw glowed blue, he then ran at her, taking a swing at her face with his frozen paw.

Yoake was thrown yet again by a nasty ice punch move from Scout. She was really starting to see stars.
Lixue didn't seem phased by these turn of events. She even looked pleased that Scout was showing his true colors. "Ah what the heck....Yoake....double team!"
Yoake stood and shook the last attack off and then took off down the field making a quick u-turn around Scout and then circling back once again appearing as if there was 6 ninetales surrounding him!

Scout was beginning to feel really weak, but his confidence was still quite high from the last few attacks, “Wea…” As Yoake surrounded him with double team, he darted about as best he could, trying to avoid the attack as much as possible, though she still managed to hit him in the side, “WeaVILE!”
“Scout you’re doing really well, let’s try another Ice Punch!”
Scout’s paw glowed blue once more and he rushed at Yoake, swinging at her like a maniac.

Yoake didn't see it coming this time. Which may have been for the better. Another ice punch caught the right ninetales and sent her flying back across the field. Her energy was about zapped and she wasn't sure she had it in her to try again. But she wasn't going to give up just yet.....
Lixue helped Yoake to her feet. "Alright Yoake....lets give him some more fire eh? Flamethrower....GO!"
Yoake bounded off quickly using the last of her energy reserves to fly across the field. She was going to try and get as close as she can..........then let more fire balls fly in a final flamethower attack.

Scout felt drained, that last attack took a lot out of him, and he couldn’t find the energy to dodge Yoake’s attack, he merely moved lightly out of the way, but still got hit by most of the flames, “Weavile…” he growled, angry at himself for letting that happen.
Jacqui was worried about him, but knew he’d be happy if/when they won, “Scout try Metal Claw again! Let’s finish this thing!”
Scout nodded, looking determined as he held up his paw and the claws shimmered. “Wea-VILE!” he shouted as he rushed at and swiped at Yoake for what he hoped was the last time.

The Metal Claw attack was the last thing Yoake saw as she fell back and collapsed on the charred ground...
Lixue was delighted Scout managed to win a battle for once. But it had meant Yoake wasn't so lucky. "You both did a great battle." She retrieved Yoake's pokeball from her belt and extended it. "Return Yoake!" The red came out and snatched back the ninetales into the safety of her pokeball. Shrinking it again Lixue placed it upon her belt and jaunted over to her friend. "Great battle Jacqui! Scout really proved his colors with you. I'm glad you too could work out so well. Maybe a couple more battles will help him bring back his confidence." Lixue put out her hand for the usual congrats handshake.

Jacqui was completely in shock with what had just happened, “Wow”
Scout was equally shocked by the outcome; this was the first battle he had ever won.
Jacqui shook Lixue’s hand, grinning like an idiot, “I just can’t believe how well that went at the end there, thanks for letting me borrow Scout, he’s a really sweet little Weavile” when the handshake was over she knelt down and hugged Scout tightly, “You did great! Thanks for letting me play trainer with you today”
