(Lol, actually, my first reaction was to recoil in horror, but then I thought about it, and I ended up pointing at the screen and shouting, "Ha, Kairi has acne! xp xp "

Evidence against the sweet, innocent facade Kairi is hiding behind.
I remembered the first one very clearly, on destiny's island! Kairi asked Sora to sail away with her, "just the 2 of us"
Sora was kinda surprised hearing that from her...he asked what about Riku...and even commented that "Kairi, you're the one who's changed"
Yes, at the end of the game, before Sora leaves for the "end of the world" world (lol get what i mean? i hope so) , Kairi was initially very relunctant to let Sora go...but Sora insisted he has to go get Riku back! - Lollipop
Isn't this a glaring evidence that Kairi does not care so much for Riku, that she would even suggest that Sora and her leave the islands? Whatever happens to "Friendship Forever", I wonder. And even knowing that Sora and Riku are the best of friends, she would even suggest tearing them apart. What a sweet girl.

xd Yes! According to the free Japanese translator I downloaded, Kairi indeed does mean beaver. whee Hence, one of my favorite sayings: "Kairi deserves to be turned into a beaver, picked up by the tail, and dropped off a steep cliff into shark-infested waters..." twisted

I don't understand the hate of Kairi....
...
I mean... ...She's a character in a game.
She's also essentially a static character.
I can understand, yes, "She's keeping Sora and Riku apart~!"
But, still.... She's not a slut, to say the least.
And just 'cause she likes Sora of Riku doesn't make her a maniacal schemer who's plotting to rip them apart.
I mean, I'd pick a significant other over just a best friend, because significant other SHOULD be your best friend.
Except you get sex.
And I totally went on a tangent.
I think we should have a Kairi ARGUEMENT thread.

Lol, I believe she's a slut because she appears to toy with both boys' affections, even though it is very obvious whom she prefers. As far as I'm concerned, that's not very fair to Riku...I mean, if she truly believes that he likes her, and doesn't return his feelings, she should just tell him. That, to me, would be a lot better than acting like he has a chance. =/
(Even though it doesn't really matter, because he doesn't like her that way, anyway...XD; )

(Even though it doesn't really matter, because he doesn't like her that way, anyway...XD; ) And there's a good chance she's just naturally flirtacious? I know I am. I don't know when I'm flirting with people half the time. It's part of my personality. Kairi may not even know of Riku's affection. Again, I find out now that people have liked me that I've flirted with(by accident), and had no idea until long after that all happened. So, it's actually a rather believable personality trait. So that's points to whoever designed her, making her more human, and less "Oh Em Eff Gee, I are teh video game characterz." She still is a static character, though.

I don't know...One thing I recently noticed while playing the game was that when Riku's talking about leaving the island, Kairi rolls her eyes. That indicates to me that she's annoyed by Riku, and is just going along with the whole raft idea to get closer to Sora. She lacks the passion for the journey that Riku and Sora have.
I'm pretty sure that Kairi knows that Riku's (supposedly) attracted to her. I mean, if you talk to Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie, they all mention that Riku is interested in sharing the Paopu. As far as I'm concerned, if they know about it, then Kairi knows about it. (Lol, if you recall, they didn't even know that Riku, Kairi, and Sora were building the raft. XD; )
