She shook her head for a second. She didn't want to share with the other the images she saw in her head moments ago. Though, it was something she probably should know about. Irena probably knew more then she did about all of this. "I remember a fire....The smell of burning wood still lingers in my nose." She told her. "It was horrible." She said. It was all she remembered really. "Everything on fire, flames as high as the sky. Making it look as if it was black and red."
"After that, I don't know what happened. I think someone helped me out." She said. Well someone had to. Or she would have died. She couldn't bare to think if anyone else had died or not. She'd have to think hard on what actually happened that night. "Can you tell me anything else, perhaps?" She asked the other. Her ears flicked as she looked at her. Maybe it'd trigger something else to come into her memories.

Irena smiled hoping to discover something new about her past, she knew for certain she hadn't just dropped out of the sky and ended up in the middle of a fire. She nodded listening carefully as Mila spoke, a hopeful look on her face. "Oh.. yes I remember the fire too." She smiled eager to find out more, "the... the flames were pretty high and ... and the sky was very ominous looking." she nodded her ears flicking as she waited, "come on, please know something."
A frown quickly flashed across her face and disappeared, she didn't know any more then herself. "Well thats... thats good," she nodded, "better to be rescued then die... thats for sure." She sighed and looked at her hooves as she heard the question, "sorry I barely know anymore then you do." She frowned hoping that Mila wouldn't be disappointed, "I just woke up in the burning forest... with my head hurting... a lot."

That couldn't be all, really. She looked at the ground for a moment. Hoping for any memory to flutter back into her mind. There were others. Lots of them. She thought. "I remember..... More of our kind." She said finally. Why was the past so hard to remember, what happened that night with the fire? Had she gotten hit with something, perhaps? Or was it painful to remember it? She knew that sometimes when something was too hard to bare, it was blocked out of the mind completely.
"Perhaps as life goes on, we will remember the past." She said with a chuckle. "We could help each other try to remember what happened." She started. It was a stupid idea, but it was worth a try. If she had someone help her try to remember, maybe that'd trigger it. She wasn't sure exactly how memory flashes happened, but she wanted to have them happen more. Now was the time for it. "Perhaps we should just drop it for now, and try to find something to drink." She said with a kind smile to the other. Though her mind was still racing, racing for answers that would have to wait for another day.

Irena frowned, Mila seemed just as disappointed as she was. She hoped that at least Mila could have her memory so someone could tell her who she was, or at least who she used to be. She didn't think that Mila deserved to go through the same torment as her, did this happen to all the Cerynei? She hoped not.
Shuffling her hooves she looked at Mila anxiously, "I hope so at least... though I... I suppose not remembering w-would make the transition easier ... wouldn't it?" She tilted her head, she knew the prince's choice for them to move was the right one, but she could barely even remember the prince himself, only knew that it was because of him the Cerynei were here. "I don't know if i'd... if i'd be much help though..." She looked away knowing well enough that her memory was useless. She nodded, it would be best if she could get her mind off it she supposed, "do you know where the water sources are in this area?"

It'd be hard no matter if they knew who they were or if they didn't she figured. She just smiled, she didn't want to believe it. "Yeah, your probably right on that one." She started. "This place is beautiful too, if you give it a chance." She said since she had been wondering around in it for a few days now.
She thought about it for a second, and she had totally forgot where she found water."No...." She said slowly not wanting to admit that she forgot it, but she didn't want to lead the other into the forest with no real direction in which getting them both lost. "Perhaps we should look?" If they went in knowing they didn't know where the water was, then they could willingly get lost, then her getting them both lost.

Irena smiled sadly, "it would... be nicer if I was wrong though... wouldn't it? It would be nice to... to at least know what it was... we were missing." She scuffed her hooves against the ground and sighed, she looked up at the trees and the grasses. "I suppose... a place like this may deserve... deserve a chance... maybe I'll get over home ... once I'm used to this area... I suppose." She smiled, "sorry I'm... I'm being so g-gloomy."
She glanced at her curiously, her head slowly tilted to the side and her hair brushed against her shoulder. "Alright... we can wander a bit... we will probably come across it ... eventually," a chuckle escaped her lips and she imagined the two of them getting stranded in the middle of some unknown forest. She glanced to the side at the trees and raised her head, "which... way do you wanna... try?" she faced Mila again. "It could be... either direction."
