As far as kind-of-old Rock goes, I like The 1979 Album Machine Gun Ettiquitte by the Damned.
I also like the Kinks, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show and The Toys (Lover's Concierto, aka Bach's Minuet in G Major.)
Oh, and Scatterbrain.
(Drunken Milkman. Driving Drunk. He swerves on the curves.)
And Big Pig.
I also like Roger Miller, Hank Williams and Juice Newton.
And the Little River Band.
And America (esp. Sister Golden Hair.)
And Uncle Bonsai, which have been around since the 80s, but you probably shouldn't call them old.
My favorite brefore-this-century composer is Jerry Offenbach.
Particularly Les Belles Américaines.

I really love music and have a bunch of favorite types, depending on my mood or the circumstances:
Country (McGraw, Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Joe Nichols)
Smooth Jazz/'New Age' (Spyro Gyra, Fourplay, Santana, Sanborn, Koz, Cusco, Ray Lynch)
Film Scores (Alan Silvestri's many works, Clapton & Ferry for Phenomenon)
I like tons of Oldies music from the 60's through 80's, way too many musicians to mention, but here are a few at random which I like most of their 'stuff' (Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor, Loggins, CCR, CSNY, America, Eagles, Airplane, Manilow, Elton John, Billy Joel, Beatles, Queen, and Chicago)
So many more and so many singles I like, but I got to stop.
I like pretty much anything except Metal, Techno and Rap.

well i love Elton John thats for sure! but other songs from back in the day Dream Warriors from Dokken, The Scorpions, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (don't come around hear no more-good song and video!!) Annoyingly that song More than a feeling by Boston, i can't help it i love that song!! Ozzy of course, that song Shot in the Dark its awesome, I listened to alot of 80's rock xd xd
