Ryu nearly fell over, no matter how much time has passed Aliya was still Aliya. Obviously speaking.
"It is good to see you too, we just got here and as usual we left in the morning, don't worry," he laughed.
Naida leaned over and tried to give Aliya her leaf bouquet, "Here!"

Aliya giggled and took the bouquet of leaves from Naida happily. "They're so pretty," she beamed, "thank you so much!" She gave Naida a little individual hug then. "My favourite little mer girl."
On Amdir's shoulder, Ecthelion pouted. "I want a pretty leaf, too, Grandmama!"
Aliya smiled at Ecthelion. "Do your parents know where you are?"
He shook his head. "Nope, not 'less they're asking Rhea. But sometimes she don't know, either."

"Won't they get worried though?" Ryu pointed out to the little boy.
Poor Adan and Rose... Adan he knew had been kidnapped when he was little and Rose tended from what he understood nervous often enough.
"You really should have told them where you were going."
"But I don't tell you where I'm going," Naida pointed out.
"Yes, but there's only so many places a mergirl could go."

Ecthelion giggled at Ryu, completely unaware of what they were getting at. "Papa's hunting, Mama's cleaning. See? They're okay!"
Aliya rolled her eyes. "Alyse," she called into the kitchen, "can you go tell Rose that Ecthelion is here? She must be worried sick by now."
Alyse appeared in the doorway, drying her hands on a towel. "Sure," she agreed. "Should I take him with me?"
Amdir chuckled and looked up at his grandson. "What do you say?" he grinned. "Want to go home? I'm sure your mother wants you there."
Ecthelion looked doubtful. "Can I ride on Aunt Alyse's back?" he asked. "I don't wanna walk."
Alyse laughed. "Sure, come on." She stood in front of her father and let her nephew climb onto her back.

Feng giggled at that, "And I thought Naida can be a handful."
At least Naida couldn't go very far, and no where off the clan grounds for that matter.
"I take it this happens often?"

Haven from the outside didn't seem to have changed much, but then again looks can be deceiving. Donovan looked around before heading to the Ranch house.
"I take it you two will be heading to the barracks?" he wasn't so sure about Lin.
"Yea," Lin nodded, "I'm going to visit Timaeus before he goes on the Hunt. See you later Dad."
She waved before taking Miyu's hand and leaving for the barrack.

Aliya laughed. "He seems determined to scare his mother to death. She used to check here every time, but this is the first time in a long time that he's actually ended up here. No one ever knows where he ends up, he wanders home on his own usually."
Alyse hefted her nephew on her back and grinned at Feng and Ryu. "You should come and see her too," she invited them. "I'm sure she would be happy to see you again."

"I'm sure we will, there are a lot of people to visit," Ryu grinned, "We also need to visit Cindy as well."
Their older sister had to be quite old by now, now that the two thought about it.
"Yay! Auntie Cindy!" Naida bounced a bit, "And then we can play too!"
Meanwhile back at Haven, Miyu parted ways from Lin, since where Lin wanted to go this time was on the ground floor, and Miyu needed to go to the second floor. Even though she still, didn't like the pure darkness, she wasn't as nervous going up those steps. Probably because she had done so many times previous to this.
So sure was she that she didn't take out her light, instead as she went up the stairs counted the doors until she came to Aragost's door, which she knocked.

Lin of course took a trip down the wall, it wasn't that hard since really the family was the last door at the end of the hallway, being part of the extension made to the barracks and all.
Once there, she knocked swiftly waiting for someone to open, unless the whole family was out on a shift of course.
Donovan didn't have to knock, since it was the Ranch house, he simply entered the home. It felt odd not having Kara there, he wished she was even though really knew it probably wasn't a good idea.
"Hello?"

Ecthelion beamed at Naida. "Yay! We can visit Auntie Cindy!" he giggled - though it was his first time ever calling her by that. Still, it made sense to him - it was Aunt Shael and Uncle Adonai, why not Auntie Cindy? He tugged on Alyse's braid. "Hey Aunt Alyse, can we visit Auntie Cindy?"
Alyse laughed. "Sure thing," she giggled. Then she turned to Feng and Ryu. "Do you want to stop there before or after we visit Rose?"
There was no answer to Lin's knock at the door, but after only a few short moments the door to their back opened instead, and Timaeus poked his head out. "Welcome back," he grinned, stepping out and leaning against the doorway. "It's been a while. How are you doing?"
Inside the house, it seemed as if all was quiet - though there were sounds coming from the direction of the kitchen. A moment after Donovan called out his hello, Haradhel appeared, smiling brightly. "Donovan," she greeted him happily. "No Kara this time?"
It was a moment before the door to Aragost's quarters opened, and a tall, black-cloaked figure stood in the doorway ... but instead of only black, this person was wearing a green tunic with gold inlays, and fiery orange hair tumbled out from beneath the cloak.
"Yes?" asked a soft female voice.

Feng laughed at that, wondering if that was what Cindy was normally called, "Cindy first, since I'm guessing she's on the way?"
She couldn't quite remember now where the other house was since she and Ryu never really visited there. Not to mention it had been a while.
Miyu had been completely caught off guard, she had been sure she would have gotten to spend one last visit with Aragost, but it seemed someone else had taken his room. She lurched back suddenly her back hitting the door behind her. It took a lot of will power not go mi-ing down the hall.
"S-sorry, wrong door..." she blinked once, then twice.
Then finally she gave in and dashed back down the hallway, fortunately not mi-ing as she went.

"Yukito says having Kara stay here for another trip will probably push it too close to her due date, and he already had a bugger of a time trying to figure that out from the last visit. He thinks she's six months along, but he says he's not sure."
Donovan chuckled it wasn't often Yuki could get flustered but when he did it was kind of funny. He set his bag down.
"So she's not going until the baby's due, which means it's going to be quite a number of years here."
Lin whirled around in surprise, she knew they didn't have a backdoor which meant...
"Did you move?" she couldn't help answering with a question before stopping herself, "And I've been doing fine thanks."

Alyse giggled and nodded. "Rose and Adanedhel live just beyond them," she told Feng, "so who knows? Maybe Rose will even see us and join us there."
Besides, it was such a nice morning, Cindy and Rhea were probably having their lesson outside - when they had real lessons anymore. Rhea was very nearly grown up already, and her mastery of her magic was very good now. Often enough, their lessons were little more than Cindy making sure Rhea was doing her exercises and practicing her control.
The woman blinked after Miyu, somewhat surprised for the first time in a long time. "Wait!" she called after her, one hand outstretched as if reaching for her.
The door across the hall opened (Elros's old room) and a tall, pale-haired and pale-robed man stepped out. "That was the skittish one, wasn't it?" he asked with an amused grin. "Aragost did warn you that would happen."
Haradhel laughed, but there was a bit of sadness to her laugh. "Well ... when you get back home, give her our regards," she smiled faintly. "We're going to miss her here. But welcome. Are you planning on going on another hunt?"
Timaeus laughed at the look on Lin's face. "Come on, Lin, I'm nearly twenty five years old. You can't expect me to live with my parents forever."
Then he stepped aside and motioned for her to come in. "You're welcome to look around," he invited her. "It's not much, I guess, but it's home and it's comfortable for me."

"Then we can all play?" Naida asked Alyse.
She would really like that, but then again she always wanted to play, she was just really active like that.
"Yes, then you call can play," Feng laughed, "Let's go then!"
Miyu only managed to stop the moment she reached the bottom of the steps, her heart pounding and her wings twitching like crazy. Though she was also somewhat upset, because she feared she took too long to visit.
"Mi....."
