I'm not sure what you would call bullying rather than teasing, but I've been teased all my life... Things work a little differently where I live. Teasing is pretty normal, because, well, it's funny. And when you have a funny joke that's perfect for the situation, you use it. Regardless of whether or not it's at someone else's expense, 'cause they'll get there chance to crack a joke on you soon. Y'know?
Bullying, though, like physical harm, is different. It's almost as common, but it's only done to people that are genuinely annoying. That's to be expected in a society where fights are purely for entertainment, though.
If someone's teasing you, and you don't like, just come back with a funny insult if you can. Just saying something like "You're so stupid, your tiny brain, you're fake and shallow etc." only worsens the problem.
Physical bulling, on the other hand, calls for you to take 6A61686Eh's action and make a big friend if you can't fend for yourself. Or make it seem like the other guy's a big puss if he/she hurts you. (e.g., "Go ahead, hit me. 'Cause you know you're too scared to hit [insert bigger person's name here]")

Psh. I went through hell through middle schoo and high school. I mean, really. I've had people draw on me. People call me names. Everything imaginable. I'm in college now and all of those bullies, I feel bad for because you really have to have a crummy life to bully someone else. They're all not doing so hot, and I'm actually working with a person who did bully me before and trying to get her back in shape.
I hated it, but it made me do a lot of growing up. I wasn't concerned about peer pressure or doing things that I didn't want to do just to fit in, because either way, I was bullied.
I don't just feel bad for the victums but also the bulliers. I've never met a bully who didn't have a hard life, and I mean hard life. Some significant s**t.
So whatever makes them feel better, they'll feel better. That's great. Especially knowing that my life has always been pretty good, with limited to no struggles.
