And so Tenkyuu begins tending to herself, popping the analgesic before turning the sink on and running her hands underneath the cool, running water. The Heavenly Bow sighs faintly, remarking to herself about the innovations that the Gaians have developed...
... What an industrious people. To have running water, easily cooked foods, and a land built on stability...
Tenkyuu pauses a moment, feeling the painkillers begin to gradually numb the pain. She raises a hand to her face, inspecting the minor burns before she smiles faintly. Tenkyuu must wonder what their physicians are able to do with such injuries if they are capable of so much else.
Within a few seconds Tenkyuu exits the bathroom, her hands hiding in the folds of her baggy sleeves. Once free of the bathroom's confines, her eyes almost immediately land on Unsou who seems less than pleased about her day. The woman moves past Setsushi, her hand settling faintly on the teapot as she smiles faintly at the stressed Flying Spear.
Why does Unsou not sit down while Tenkyuu pours the tea?

Although she wishes she could help, Tenryuu feels she would just be in the way. So instead she expresses her desire for a spicy tea- Gaia has intoduced her to one called Masala Chai that is delicious when not mixed with milk, as it often is- and continues working out the kinks in her ankle.
Since the other Knights seem occupied, Tenryuu tries to explain to Kauanoe what is going on. It seems they are celebrating: Dame Chourou has a new apartment for herself and her family; she and her mother have found work of a fashion; Setsushi is more submissive than ever. Much has changed since their arrival.
... well, maybe not so much.
But perhaps she is getting ahead of herself. "I am Tenryuu," she introduces herself, and the others. "This one is Dame Unsou, and Dame Tenkyuu." She sees that the little one has already met Dame Chourou, and the Giant Setsushi. Though Tenryuu would like to know more about the young guest, while the others finish preparing the tea.

Kauanoe listened intently to Tenryuu's explaination of events, after yet again recieving more information, that didn't seem to make sense on its own. So looked from person to person as their names were called, giving them a little nod, after the name to show respect. There were quite a few new people here this time. Some of the names seemed a little familar but she wasn't certain.
After a little time to think things through, Kauanoe decided to address Chourou. Yes, she would really like to come around and get to know the hero of her homeland a little better. Would it be okay if Mizuki took her over there some time....she could bring cake for the trouble. Kauanoe can come any morning, best if Chourou decided for her though, as Kauanoe is very indecisive.
Ah, tea was mentioned by Unsou - no? Kauanoe is not sure if she likes tea, and so Unsou shouldn't need to worry about her, just herself and the others if necessary. She is a little worried about Unsou, but dosn't know her well enough to know what to do.
Kauanoe wonders if she is allowed to have some fruit even if she dosn't have tea. Would that be okay with Setsushi...she dosn't want to cause trouble. Maybe if others want something too she can help serve them. The young porcelain smiles, it would be such a treat if she could get away with it.
Quite happy she understands whats going on now, and thats she done what she can do for a while, Kauanoe attension turns back to Tenryuu. She wishes her, her thanks and wonders what kind of things would she like to know about Kauanoe?

Chourou examines the boxes Unsou offers and indicates her selection, then slides the boxes out while projecting unobtrusively to the other Knights that they can pick their teas, as well.
She then thanks Setsushi for the writing implements and takes out the single card with her address, and sets about copying the Gaian characters down. Though the Knight still finds the shapes of Gaian letters strange, and does not doubt that she is probably writing the strokes for some of them in the incorrect order, she is confident enough that she is picking up on the language quickly enough. And Setsushi need not beat himself up for being unable to provide housing himself - it is a big task, with so many Porcelain who have apparently fallen into this strange world, and while the male Knight is a very rare man, housing for so many is not something she expects to be within the capabilities of any one person.
Glancing up at Setsushi, the Knight of Bukoku reminds him with a smile that she has never once considered it imposing to accept an invitation. And then adds to the other Knights that, if they do not mind the presence of a human, perhaps she could introduce them sometime to Master Akram, when he is not busy with his work or his lessons?
And... Chourou wonders who Mizuki might be? Is that the name of Miss Kauanoe's guardian in Gaia? If Miss would like to bring her to visit, Chourou could do her best to prepare at least simple foods that might remind the Northerners of home. ... Though she may have to ask around to find out what Gaian ingredients would be suitable to make something that at least resembles Bukoku cuisine.

Giving Tenryuu a look that was perhaps meant to be disapproving, but just looks puppyish and doleful, Setsushi retrieves two fat pears, a knife, a cutting board, and a large round plate, and moves them to a table out of the way of the others, where he begins to peel and slice the fruit into manageable pieces.
Setsushi thanks Chourou again for her kindness and generosity, and offers what small experience he has accumulated shopping for Gaian vegetables; "If Dame Chourou would like company on her first forays into the marketplace, I would happily be of service."
Gaia is really quite remarkable in that it has all kinds of foods available at all times of the year -- he gestures with a slice of pear -- though the quality of the produce varies.
Oh, and, "Any tea for me." He'll share in whatever the others choose.

The Flying Spear had tried to keep her mind busy on the task at hand, choosing a tea that seemed suitable enough for herself and one for Setsushi. The projections of the Heavenly Bow came at a bit of a surprised, actually seeming to cause the Knight to flinch a bit. She tured to Tenkyuu with intense eyes, but quickly softened them as she tried to be a bit gentler.
Tenkyuu need not stress herself. She has been through much already, it seems. Unsou would be happy to serve her superior and fellows. Her tone had been level and actually soft, but she felt anger building again.
"How could these people even consider treating you so poorly?" She spoke on a much quieter tone through slightly gritted teeth as she prepared the cups. She attempted to look for a tea that seemed fairly spicy to satisfy Tenryuu, deciding on a mild tea that the young Miss might like to try to see if she likes tea.

And as Setsushi passes by, Tenkyuu smiles faintly before sending a clandestine bit of warmth his way--Tenkyuu is injured, not dead. Setsushi need not worry so.
As Unsou begins to speak, the faint smile on Tenkyuu's lips grows, grows, and finally erupts into warm laughter. Gentle, peaceful feelings flow from the senior to the junior as she shakes her head faintly. No one intentionally had her burned; not a soul wanted to harm Tenkyuu aside from her clumsy hands. And even if they did treat her callously, why would they stop?
"No Gaian knows who Tenkyuu the Heavenly Bow is," says Tenkyuu as her grin fades into a resigned smile. Privately, away from the prying minds of others, Tenkyuu thanks Unsou for the care she has displayed. Tenkyuu is honored that the Flying Spear, most fearsome of any Dragon Knight, is willing to shed worry for her.
And Tenkyuu, unexpectedly, bows her head to Unsou in a display of respect.

Tenryuu returns Setsushi's look with one of her own, raising her eyebrows. If he is not careful, his face will freeze that way- a Gaian saying she learned from the children she works with. Is the great giant upset? Has she said anything untrue? Tenryuu is merely teaching their young guest about the great Dragon Knights. Perhaps Kauanoe has heard tales, but the truth is usually more interesting, at least in her opinion.
And in return, Tenryuu would like truths as well. She assumes that Kauanoe has been here longer than they have, and must have interesting stories. She does not indicate the rest of what she thinks- that she worries about the ones separated from their home and family at such a tender age. Tenryuu at least has her mother, her brother. But she keeps these thoughts private, and asks Kauanoe solely about her life on Gaia.
Her attention is diverted, however, by Unsou's words, and she looks at her lap for a moment. Though she is also concerned for Tenkyuu's well-being, she knows her mother too well to think that she could stop her from acting as she sees fit. Not that Tenryuu doesn't try anyway, from time to time. She privately projects gratitude for Unsou's worry as well, and adds that "no one knows yet. They may learn someday."
Tenryuu has no intention of fading quietly into the background. Not that she requires attention; rather, she needs to find a way to act as she sees fit in this new world.

Of course, Kauanoe has been around a longer, though she doubts it is much longer than the others. It had been rather strange here, though not too much different. She has to eat strange food when with Mizuki...but like at home, she is left to herself most the time. Plenty of time to explore and meet new people, though she wants to continue her studies. Kauanoe calligraphy work has suffered greatly since coming to Gaia. Maybe one day she would seek out the Gaian library, though she still can't read their writing, it dosn't look anything like her own.
Ah, that remind Kauanoe, Mizuki is her guardian, though shes not completely human. Mizuki has a weird fox, tail and ears, she was told that she was a natural hybrid of sorts, though Kauanoe is not certain of what that means. Mizuki isn't around much, but is here in the early morning for a while and soon after dark. She stays with Kauanoe all day some days though which makes a big change!

The Lady of Bukoku steps closer to Setsushi for the moment, and thanks him for his kind offer. She would appreciate the help with the shopping; though the woman trusts Akram as far as what things are good quality and such, the human really has no idea which Gaian foods appeal most to the Porcelain palate.
She glances back to Unsou and Tenkyuu, watching them for the moment but not interfering in their conversation, though she is unable to withhold a faint feeling of general concern. It has been difficult to get used to the sudden forced anonymity... not that Chourou expected any sort of special treatment in this new place, but the lack of the network of people upon whom she was used to relying made things difficult. And to Gaian eyes, the color of her skin and her style and manner were equally as exotic as her Toukoku-born husband's, but somehow this did not make the Knight of Bukoku quite as happy as she perhaps felt she should be....
Chourou shook her head, smiling a little as she sighed and pushed those thoughts aside. Turning her attention to Kauanoe, she listens to the young girl's answer and nods, interested but also a bit confused. She is familiar enough with humans, but they seem to be only one of many types of beings in Gaia. The woman tells the girl that she would like to meet Miss Mizuki someday, though, especially if she is kind and taking good care of Miss Kauanoe. Stepping back towards her, Chourou offers her one of the cards onto which she copied her address.

Setsushi sighs and mentally grumbles to himself, though the feelings lean slightly towards Tenryuu. He picks up the pace of peeling the pears, slicing off the skin with such a speed and forcefulness it seems almost as if he is whittling them.
Kauanoe's explanation that she is often left alone rouses him from his sulky mood, though, and he glances towards her with concern. Is it really all right? Miss Kauanoe doesn't seem to mind, but... He holds back, and says nothing about his reservations about the safety of this human society for children.
"Miss can come spend with Dame Tenkyuu and me whenever she likes," he reminds her, and to emphasize his point, he puts down the knife and carries the plate of sliced pears over to offer her one.
