Lorien nodded her head before darting off to the kitchen for some of her own special things before heading out into the woods for some more food. She looked around the woods. Berries were pretty natural and that was one thing she loved so she got some of that plus some herbs. Lorien wasn't one to eat meat, but she wondered if Maximus did. She bit her lip since she hated killing animals and from her old clan they taught her never to eat, hurt, or kill animals. Nonetheless she went back with what she had. If Maximus had a huge need for it he would get it. Lorien came back with some more supplies. "Is this good enough?"
(That is if my computer doesn't go bad like it did when I tried to. I did it yesterday and it turned off on me. I was so close to finishing. DX)

After calling for Donald's help, Maximus had the maps rolled and tucked away. When Donald left, Maximus went to his own room, grabbing his bag and supplies, and returned before Lorien had. "That'll be fine. Anything else we need should be accessable as we go." He slung the bag over his back and nodded to Lorien. "Are you ready? Last chance to change your mind."

Lorien closed her eyes for a moment before opening them again. She was a bit nervous to leave, but at the same time excited to go. She never got to help anyone before and was only left to observe in the shadows. "Yep! No doubt about it." She picked up her sash and slung it on her back ready to go.

Maximus smiled and nodded to her. "Alright. My human has most of the trip laid out for us. We'll first go to town and get on a train. It will get us to the sea. Have you ever been on a train before?" The only kind of train Maximus could recall were the long lines of troops walking. Corny said it wasn't the same thing, but he was still confused about it.

Lorien cocked her head to the side. "Well...I never was on a train before, but I have read about them in books before." She paused for a second. "Although I do wonder what it actually is like for an experience."

Maximus smiled. "I guess this will be new for both of us. I prefer knowing what I'm going into, but apparently trains aren't too bad from what my owner says."

Lorien was a bit hoping that this was going to be a pleasant trip. She was starting to be a bit more interested in Maximus, but more on the level of why he wanted to return to Rome so badly. "Yeah. I know what you mean on that." She wondered for a moment what he was thinking going back. He seemed to be the strong and silent type, but that was good for her sake. She tended to be quiet most of the time too unless something important was said. "So where is the train at?"

Before Maximus could speak, a horn sounded outside. "That's the taxi Corny called for us. She's got most of the trip set up for us, so it won't be too bad." He wagged his tail slightly, to give encouragement to Lorien. He hoped she could handle the long trip. It'd be great if she could... She might be one to keep around if she could... He coughed and turned away to hide the blush that burned his cheeks. "The taxi will take us to the train." He went and opened the door. "Ladies first."

Lorien's ears perked up. "Oh! We don't want to miss that then." She lightly laughed under her breath. She then picked up her bags again. "Thanks. You're really a nice gentleman." Lorien then trotted out the front door and into the taxi waiting for Maximus to get inside the taxi with her.

He gave her a deep bow. "I should be a gentleman to a lady such as yourself." Following after her, he gave the mansion one last look before hopping into the car and giving the driver a bark. "Well, we're on our way." He sat back and closed his eyes, excitement and nervousness flying through his mind all at once. He was going home...

Lorien smiled. "Well I can't wait to see what your home looks like." She pondered for a moment what she had read in books. "I heard that Rome is the center of knowledge." She paused for a second wondering what exactly they had there.

Maximus opened his eyes again, though didn't move. "I have too. It's a place of wisdom, beauty, personal strength and advancement." Then he thought to himself. 'And, hopefully, it is a place with answers.'

Lorien nodded her head. "Definitely." She then looked out the window as it took them to the train. "It's funny, but I've never been in any man made device besides boats." She then looked over at Maximus. He still seemed to be so mysterious about why he wanted to get back to Rome, but still she didn't press it too hard since she didn't want to be the reason of bringing up bad memories if he had any.

Maximus shook his head slightly. "I'm not entirely sure how I got here from Rome. I was very young, just a pup. I don't remember the trip. But someone brought me here." Watching the trees wizz by, blending together like a green and brown wall, he couldn't help but to wonder how he got here, but also why he was taken from Rome. Should he be staying away? Just let it go? Even if he should, he didn't think he'd be able to.
