Lilane merely stared out over her tea cup and at the kitchen door. "The world's changed since...whenever you were last out in it...Bastion. Slaves don't exist anymore...at least not in the sense they did in the past. Kailen works here. It's his job, just like Darling. They're both going through school so that they can be something more than what they are at this moment. Kailen I'm pretty sure wants to be a lawyer so he can help those who are unjustly prosecuted...and I'm pretty sure Darling likes designing clothes...but even that has it's uses. Both have parents and friends who would cry if they suddenly died. Just like me....just like you. Just because they don't have some mad-scientist chasing after them doesn't mean they don't have as much purpose in this life as you or I." And then Lilane turned her eyes upon the stain that Bastion's blood was forming on the floor and with a single fiery glance the blood burst into flame and disappeared...leaving no trace behind. "You'll be glad I did that..Galatea has this thing about stains...and you seriously don't want to get her mad. " Lilane added the last bit almost humorously her golden eyes flashing.
Darling looked over at Lilane and Bastion and smiled secretively. Okay so the guy was a bit off and rough around the edges...but Darling knew a lot of guys like that. Heck, Kailen was like that and sometimes her history teacher Mr. Rhyvs was like that too...maybe it was just a guy thing? Who knew. Darling merely shrugged, laughed slightly to herself and went back to work ignoring the tug she felt on the thread coming from Bastion and ignoring the flare from Lilane's as she used her abilities to fix whatever Bastion had done.
But Darling did NOT ignore the feeling she got next...in fact...she nearly dropped her tray as she stood so abruptly and turned instantly toward the door even though whoever it was wasn't even on the same physical plane yet. Still...this thread. It was complex...it was twisted and knotted and...WRONG. It felt ...familiar...and so wrong. It made Darling's hands shake as she rushed over to Lilane and Bastion and grabbed Lilane's hand looking up at her nervously. "Lilane...someone's coming. Someone...I don't know...BAD. I felt it just now...there was this ripple and then...I don't know I just...KNOW. Maybe we should get out of here." Darling added the last while biting her lip.
Before Lilane could respond however, it was the owner...Galatea, who placed a comforting hand on Darling's shoulder. "Negative. There is no need Ms. Tanner. The dimensional disturbance was expected. The man who is coming is a ...patron...a long-time...patron. There is no need to raise an alarm I will greet him myself. Please continue with your duties." Galatea's odd eyes flashed, almost litterally, at the sight of Bastion's empty bottle. "I believe our customer...Kirosami Sh'Zual ....could use another bottle of apple cider." She said the name as if she had to search her memory for it for a moment before the blue-haired owner turned with the stiff efficiency of a machine.

Kailen existed the kitchen just a few moments after Galatea, having taken his time picking, peeling, slicing, and sorting three different apples for Bastion to try when he stopped and noted the strange tug he felt with his abilities. It was not a pleasant feeling. In fact, if he didn't know better...and he did. This feeling could almost be described as a familiar sense of both foreboding and dislike...INTENSE dislike. But that was impossible so instead Kailen merely shrugged it off and placed the platter ( labels with descriptions included ), before Bastion and turned toward Galatea as she soothed Darling about...something. Something Kailen was sure had something to do with the fact that Darling was a girl and Galatea was a mature woman of...well...Kailen wasn't sure but he was sure that was beside the point. And then...and then HE walked through the front door and instantly Kailen's sense of familiarity and dislike could be explained. It all emanated from this man. And on top of that...upon his entrance...it intensified to the point where Kailen couldn't hide his distaste anymore even as he tried stand off and stay out of trouble.
Alexis entered the bar with all the authority of a king returning home to his castle...and all the decorum of a vandal. His golden eyes weren't surprised to find Lilane or that man from earlier there. He didn't even really care. Hell, he didn't even care that the owner herself was staring him down. After all, he knew she would be waiting for him. The damn metallic b***h. So Alexis merely smirked as he approached her and handed her a small device which he pulled as if from thin air just behind his ear. "Stras vyu'terr my lady...glad to see-" but Alexis stopped cold his gaze drawn to the tiny blonde beside Lilane.
And for the first time in over three-hundred years Alexis found himself unable to think...unable to breathe...unable to form any words in his mind. Instead he simply stares, like a boy stares at the girl of his dreams for the first time, or how a deer stares a car in the head-lights before being run-over. His face visibly paled and his smile fell away to form a simple 'o'. Before suddenly he was gone, Darling swept up in his arms as the mad Russian held her gently and whispered in Russian, his face buried in her hair. And then he pulled back slightly and kissed Darling on the forehead, gently, in the way a father would after finding his daughter when she'd been taken from him by force. And when Alexis knelt to kiss Darling's hand there were tears threatening at the corners of his eyes, and he held her hand to his cheek and whispered and muttered over and over again. "Hannah...Hannah...at last...at last. My diamond eyes...my precious gem...my Hannah."

There was a man speaking russian to a small girl in his arms as she arrived. It wasn't strange but it wasn't normal either; instead of going to the bar she went to a booth near the back. A light was dimmed a little more than the rest so she played with it in her special way to make it shine brighter. It was her own little way of impacting the world.
Sitting down in the booth with her exposed knees rubbing the table prop she wondered what to drink. Funny how you usually know until you have an immense selection of flavor at your disposal. Tonight she wanted vodka talk and a good walk, so she twisted the cap off a bottle of vodka over at the bar and brought it her way. Bottle in hand and mouth open she downed half of it. The other half didnt survive the next minute where she sent the bottle back across and put its lid back on. In the bottle was a hundred dollars she was sure the one she chose was half that value and was also sure if the barthender was smart he wouldn't bother her with the change.
She pondered Jonas location and couldnt imagine what shenanigans he'd found now...

He felt a...familiar presence. Since he knew it, he instantly stopped giving a damn though he found the reactions of the others to be nearly priceless. He'd look to his apples like a child looking upon a shiny new toy Christmas morning before looking to...hey! It was that dude that the freaky Kain-wannabe was screwing around with! Given this dudes emergence, he hoped for the best and wondered if this freak had killed that freak.
Again, back to the apple. He'd reach for it, though some force was holding him back, as if begging him not to eat it. Eventually he'd get his fingers around a slice and almost to his mouth, though now it felt like something was pulling his wrist away. Thinking back to his previous life and why this was so "wrong," he quickly found the strength to snap a crisp bite from the apple. And it was good. Well, more then good really. Once again he'd cry as the delicious flavor overtook him.
After a damn good while he'd finish that first bite, swallowing what must have been turned into applesauce. He'd watch the display of the freak and Darling, a brow arched. He'd take note of the girl in the corner with the gas-water as well, then shrug. "Dead my a**..." He'd then look to Lilane and point to her half-assedly. "Kain killed my parents. Vatican's gone. Kain keeps trying to kill me and vise versa. Ishado's moved on from pretending I'm 8. I ain't got positive ties to a single b*****d on this planet. If I die, Kain will rejoice. The end." He'd shrug his shoulders nonchalantly and take another, quicker bite. "N' it still sounds like slavery to me, but I guess it pays, for things, right?"
He'd go to end his comment with some dominance-securing "tough boy" comment about kicking this chick's a** should she get pissed over the stain he'd made, though the shine in Lilane's eyes told him that it wasn't meant as a threat. Really he didn't know...he just liked her pretty eyes. Reminded him of apple cider. Thus, he'd blush a bit and return to eating apples, ignoring the people about him.

Alaska was looking around the rather interesting bar when her right ear ring began switching vibrant colors and vibrating roughly. She flicked it with her middle finger after a moment, "Hello?" she answered.
"Is the area safe?" It was jack.
"Relativly, I'm in a bar I doubt anyone here is worth the secrecy." she already knew what was next she pulled out a pair of glasses that looked rather earthian. They began displaying data as jack filled the gaps.
"Targets name is Darlng Tanner the bartender to your left we request a public execution and that it be before the hour ends... Which by my count is five minutes away." she could now see jack's serious face in the glasses next to the information. So without hesitation she whipped out a small dagger and made it's particles jump wildly back and forth. "Im kidding savage Jesus, were you really going to do it?"
"You should know by now for the right price I'll kill anyone." she put her blade away And asked seriously for the real targets information

She could hear his thought, "As long as you don't give me a reason, no jack I wouldn't lay a finger on you." She smiled and his face relaxed.
"What would you do of someone put a million on Jonas?" He always had a nack for asking stupid questions.
"Id kill everyember of their family and burn their estate to the ground with them inside..." her look was serious, his was slightly shocked.
"Well on a lighter note, our girls name is Yessica Sixtails. She's a weyard resident, no family, no powers and the pay is six-hundred thou."
"Six? What the he'll did she do to deserve a six hit?" her last hit this profitable was for a nasty little betty named Yolanda.
"it's a private contractor no reason is listed. Strange..." Jack lookedaround like he was searching for something. "Alaska it looks like whoever this girl is she's a ghost, no one has seen her in years."
"You sure she's got no contacts or abilities?" she felt the vodka taking it's toll as she slurred a little. Jack laughed quietly and gave her a nod no. They did their respective good byes and hung up. Whoever this Six was she'd be an easy takedown, but the motive behind thw high price remain unclear...

Galatea seemed to ignore the scene playing out between Darling and Alexis for a moment...instead the woman nearly instantly directed her eyes toward the woman sitting by herself in a booth. There was a flash that went across the bar owner's eyes and very suddenly, at least to her, there would be a crackling sound within Alaska's earpiece and a flow of data along with a wavy image of woman made of circuits and wire would appear on the flow of data along Alaska's glasses. Then Galatea would turn toward Alexis at the same time as the image would speak to the girl assassin sitting at the booth. "Alexis. This is hardly the time or place for a public display of emotion...please refrain from handling Ms. Darling Tanner." She stated the name with emphasis as if Alexis had forgotten where he was, her expression unchanged.
At the same time the woman made of data spoke to Alaska in a voice that sounded as if it had been computer generated. "This is a secure channel. As I speak your contact is currently receiving the same programmed message. The channel you have chosen to communicate from is private. Those who maintain this channel have requested no interference of any kind. To point : the data stream you are accessing from will soon be shut down for a period of no less than two hours and thirty minutes. Should you attempt to access this private channel again we will be forced to eliminate the source of your transmitting from and delete the core memory drives of the machine and or machines registered under said data. This is your only, and final, warning. Have a nice day." And then the earpiece and glasses would shut down completely, as well as whatever computer or machine 'Jack' had been using to transmit to Alaska from.
Darling looked from the odd man who held her so gently to her boss, her expression one of confusion and a bit frightened. Until at last Darling turned to look into the Russian's eyes and stare at him a bit like a scarred rabbit caught in a trap. "Uh...Sir. I think you've mistaken me for someone else...my name is Darling Tanner...not...'Hannah'."
Lilane, a bit nervous of Alexis' present did her best to turn her attention to Bastion and nod. She took a moment to look at Galatea before turning to look back at Bastion with a raised brow. "Why did Galatea call you Kirosami?" Lilane asked the question with the same curiosity one would use to ask why one of their friends had chosen this particular book or that. But mostly it was an odd sense of confusion that swam through Lilane's eyes...not the sort that one worried over, but one that merely made a person question what was going on.

By this time his food and drink was long gone which had him starring at the glass as if it was the last drink he'd ever get. In his mind he had no idea if that were in fact true or not. His eyes would dart to Lilane as she repeated that name, a name that was like a noose around his neck. He'd reach into his vest and remove a manila envelope that had been damaged from obviously being best so much while inside his vest. He'd place the item down in front of her and remove the top sheet, something of a spread sheet, though he felt it necessary to repeat the information on it. "Subject name is Bastion Sh'Zual. Subject retrieved in Irish woods when subject's brother was hunting. Subject is currently 8 years of age."
He'd sigh a bit and look behind the bar for more cider, not that he knew what the bottles really looked like. He didn't see any like the one he had yet he'd still recite after skipping some information, like dental imprints, height, weight...every item you'd expect to see from a spread sheet on the test results of a lab monkey. "Subject B has been brainwashed. Subject is now convinced its name is Hiro Kirosami. Subject has also become a devote Catholic. It is our hope he will come to sere as the Vatican's sword. Subject is currently residing in a hidden area of Japan to undergo further training."
As the papers babbled on about the fact he'd been placed in Japan to pick fights and thus "train" more then anything else, he'd manage to fall over the bar top and thus begin his own search from a better view, still going on. "Subject is now 18. Subject believes his brother Kain Mikhail Sh'Zual is the reason for all evil in the world. Subject has battled the monster twice and each time the interference of the third brother Ishado ended it in a stalemate. We've failed countless times to convince Subject of the evil of second brother, though subject clings to him like a son and father rather then two brothers."
He'd finally find a bottle that looked identical to his own without breaking anything and thus hop over the bar top again after using his teeth to rip the top from the bottle. After a long drink, he'd continue. "Subject has shown power outside what we have injected him with. Subject seems to be able to control light, water and energy as well as lightning. Subject now wears a suit of armor and helmet at all times. Subject has stopped sleeping...and aging. Subject has stopped showing signs of age since he was eighteen. Subject also posses a remarkable ability to regenerate and even heal others."
He'd take another long drink, then look up as if in thought. He'd almost memorized the long a** report dating back to Earth's 14th Century. "Subject says his armor both protects him form harm and ridicule for young looks. Subject has become increasingly active and violent, slaughtering the wicked in the most brutal and slow means to keep his idle hands busy. Subject has sprouted a pair of white feathered wings...we may have been wrong about him. Recently one of our less-devoted members watched a movie in which three brothers were born - one human though immortal, one a vampire and one a lycan. Ishado Sh'Zual contracted lycanthropy at a young age, and Kain Sh'Zual contracted vamperism even younger. Could such nonsense be true?"
He'd poor himself a glass now having retrieved one and even put ice in it. Finally, he'd begun to merely sip at his drink. "Hiro Kirosami has made himself public. The Vatican's secret is out and the Subject's anger is escalating. Subject recently met with both brothers yet no conflict occurred. His Holiness is worried, as are our scientists." He'd then point to the last piece of paper.
"Whoever you are, if you're reading this then you've come across the documented failure of the Vatican. We may have destroyed his mind...we may have simply put too much on him; asked too much of him. To take an orphan child from the woods, away from his brother...weren't we doing him a favor? Weren't we helping him by introducing him to God; did we not save him from the corruption of his demonic brothers!? I don't understand. We've sacrificed our lives to help him for centuries, yet he's become a blasphemer...he speaks of the Vatican's lies and His Holiness's corruption...he says he's done being used as a tool for the church, but he doesn't understand that we are all tools for the Almighty! I know that God will ---" He'd snicker a bit, then look to Lilane. "If I remember correctly, it all ends there 'cause the blood sorta screwed up the rest of it. So there ya go...one way or another, she knew me from another time. Not sure how; certainly don't care. Just want a knew life."

Lilane studied the folder curiously, reading it like one would an interesting magazine article before deciding she much rather just listen to it as it poured from Bastion's mouth instead, watching his antics with all the interest one might have in watching an endangered animal. When at last he was sitting beside her once more Lilane gently took a sip of her tea and waited for him to finish before at last speaking her mind. "Well...that was certainly informative..." she muttered her golden eyes mirroring something close to humor. Until the presence of Galatea over her shoulder forced her to turn and stare up at the bar owner and manager.
Galatea studied the files with a scrutinizing gaze before scoffing and waving away the documents as if they were flies, and then, almost as if her body were pulled by a guiding string the woman went nearly ramrod straight and began to recite as a nearly continuous flash swam across her eyes. "Updating data. Previous file name Kirosami Sh'Zual." There was a slight pause before Galatea's hand twitched and she spoke again. "File name updated. Subject file renamed : Bastion Sh'Zual. Uploading previous data to new file. Updating data. Syncing data with known files. Data saved." And then Galatea's eyes shone and her voice became slightly more metallic as she spoke. " Bastion Sh'Zual, known until recently as Hiro Kirosami. Brainwashed victim of the early Catholic Church. Youngest brother to known figure Kain Sh'Zual. Abilities as cited by Dr. Evelin Thantos: While pertaining to early Catholic beliefs, subject features an uncanny likeness to an Angelic personage not unlike Michael or Gabriel. It is in my opinion that subject is descendant of an inhuman or alien race not of Earth. Subject should be considered highly dangerous and due to mental damage 'unstable'." Galatea eyes flashed momentarily before there was a stable glow once more and she continued speaking. "Weyard observations : Entry One; subject features antagonistic behavior toward Kain Sh'Zual and shows signs of retaining brain-washed mentality. Entry two; contact established between elder brother Ishado Sh'Zual as well as affiliates. Subject has contact with exiled United Global Force member Panderas Thantos, protected civilians Fredrick Basilica and Lilane Rhyvs birth name Lilane Basilica. Entry three; subject is witness to ' four beasts event' and has contact with protected civilians Draega Newfame, Kain M Sh'Zual, Maya Dosell and active United Global Force member Julian Newfame. Entry four; Subject is directed to Uriel's Gentle Flame by protected civilian Lilane Rhyvs birth name Lilane Basilica. Subject first contact established. Subject file updated."
Once again Galatea's eyes flashed and this time her head swiveled a bit to stared directly at Bastion her blue eyes still sparking oddly. "File summary : Subject danger level A , socialization level reduced to level C. Subject has been cleared for project 'Collective'. Do you wish to proceed?" Galatea asked, her eyes still shinning her question posed like a simple ' Continue? ' on a game...as if you really had a chance to turn back when in truth it meant abandoning the game and remaining at a stand-still.

Alaska pushed the piece across the room and into the trash, her other ear ring slipped away from her ear and followed it to the trash, but not without screaming loudly and exploding. She laughed it was such a good show, the alcohol had taken it effect and soon she would filter it out of her body, her eye's were slightly apologetic though this was all some other person fault anyway. Alaska was just happy that her transmission was over now she turned to everyone else in the bar. It was boring to her, possibly on the account of the fact that she didn't know anyone, so she decided to introduce herself to someone. Particularly the woman who had destroyed her newest D-Rings.
"Excuse me miss. I couldn't help but notice what a wonderful ability you have. I can appreciate that i myself have a nice power, but i do try my best not to let it interfere with other peoples lives as much as possible..." She rubbed her neck, she didn't want to sound like a b***h. "Just please the next time if im here and your here Miss..." She was going to wait for a name but just finished her sentence instead. "Please don't mess with my equipment its very personal and fragile." She was close enough to this woman to feel her barrier like it was her own, her's warm and bright feeling so she decided that woman meant no harm in her actions. If she felt a tint of ill energy she probably would have tested her but the innocence for now couldn't be denied thus she turned on a heel and went for the her pick of another bottle of liquor.

He'd stare at her as if...well, like anything else in the world he didn't understand, really. He didn't know if this was some nifty power or if she were a cyborg...and now she was asking him a question he hardly understood. Collective? And who the hell were these people? He remembered the bullshit with the elemental freaks, though he hardly considered the polite woman he sat next to a freak...well, anymore. His hatred of Kain was for abandoning him to go become a power-mongering a*****e though as opposed to BEING one as the church had instructed. Still, the anger would die as quick as it would of come. He'd shrug and finally answer. "Please, by all means...do proceed. Affirmative; continue or anything else meaning 'go on.'" And here he thought he'd kept himself hidden from the world with the annihilation of the greatest cult known to man.

Alexis watched the robotic woman with cold, almost infuriated eyes, however as she went on the Mad Russian grinned and at length released Darling, though his hand trailed across her as if he were loath to let her go. "Ah...so da. The creation of man shows true colors at last." However, Alexis swept away from that particular goings-on to step before Alaska, blocking her path his eyes glinting with too many odd emotions to describe. "Well, well...if isn't Assassin like myself. This bar is great for getting hired da? Not so good for communicating. Is like thin ice...will break beneath you and steal away breath before you can scream. Robot b***h is busy at moment...but Alexis is free to play...and you are stepping on my territory...so few left that pose true challenge for me...you...not so much. But since you have a taste for vodka...perhaps I shall show you ..DAT eh?"
And then Alexis chuckled and ran a hand under Alaska's chin his golden eyes flashing. His hands, however, were clearly shaking even as he did so, his strength evident in the touch as if so enraged he could hardly hold it in. As he grinned his fangs flashed and his eyes turned cold. "DAT being the end of your life...violence...breeds violence. So no more sound da? After all...I cannot stand to see taint upon her...and girl like you...girl killer...would taint her in second. " After a moment blood would begin to spill down Alexis' lips from where he'd bitten his lip so hard it had begun to bleed, and his smile was gone instead there was merely the true evidence of his myriad of emotions strewn across his face, the most prominent being a dark sort of love.
Kailen watched a bit in disbelief of his boss's actions, he'd never seen her act like this before. And so, for the first time since he'd started his job the dark-haired young-man truly turned to look at the strings of fate that bound her to the world. The woman held not a single thread like most humans, but nearly a hundred, all either ending with her or beginning there and each one stretching as if pulled toward the basement of the building itself. The other's their threads, though clearly more complicated than a normal human's would be, were still one in number. And then Kailen noticed for the first time that Darling's thread seemed to pulsate like his own did...and like the Russian's did. And then, looking between them Kailen could see how they were tied together and he balked at this knowledge. It brought revulsion to his stomach, though he could not think of why.

Alaska purred lightly as his fingers slid under her chin, his barrier was teeming with the evil of a fellow assassin. "You wouldn't want to play with me Alexis..." She pushed his hand away from her hard by increasing the size of her own barrier. "I don't play nice..." Her eyes found the floor and then the cieling above them, "I dont see your name anywhere." A loud drunken laugh escaped her lips and it was followed by a stream of pure vodka. She felt normal again, though she did hate this method of sobering up, and Alexis presence bothered her.
She placed her hand in a pocket fingering a pair of KiKnu (you all will have no idea what these are, they're just weapons she uses compare them to brass knuckles) and pulling them out rubbing them against where he had touched her. She felt a bit of something he'd left on her and threw it back at him, increasing the field ever so slightly so it felt like she hit him with a rock. "Eww..." She stepped closer to him, so close that she didn't need to move to speak into his ear, "You already know i can rip you to shreds and then put you back together. The only difference is ill put you back together the way god should have, a*****e right here..." She pointed to his lips with her finger and stayed there daring him to test her mood.

Alex had picked up on the conversations inside as she approached the building, a bit out of breath from running, but fine just. Opening the door she stepped in to the bar ans scanned over the people inside. She didn't know anyone inside, and then it occured to her she hadn't asked for a description of the girl.
Scanning the group again she took notice that there wasn't a normal human present in the entire building it seemed. "Is there anyone here by the name Alaska?" she asked aloud.

Alaska leaned back and looked into Alexis's eyes, "Some other time, Da?" She spun on a heel and walked over to the new commer running her hand through the air around her and then she felt a bit of Seth on her. "Oooo, your either here for Him or your wasting my time." There was something about the girl that intrigued her but it was mostly that Seth had touched her recently.
"Names Alaska Yurich and your looking for me why?" She leaned in again taing in her field, it was cold as ice... Yet comforting. She could instantly see Seth's attraction. This girl was also a U.H, which told Alaska to keep her KiKnu's on.
