Heret nuzzled Lumi, glad that she wouldn't mind waiting to have fawns. He didn't want children until he was sure that they would be safe from his father. "I think we're ready now, Love, it's just.... I don't think it's safe for fawns..." He tried to explain before he paused and thought over her question. "Well.... I know that you've got two younger siblings, your father was sent out for scouting... And you like your mother."

Lumi shook her head dismally and let out a heavy sigh. "no actually, I resent my mother, I may even hate her... though in truth i still love her, she is... rather, was my mother after all." Lumi closed her eyes and took a deep breath, bracing herself for what she was about to do. "You see, when i was little, my mother was perfect, my father was amazing, and my life was good. And then my father dissapeared into the dead city near us, and my mother came undone. It was as if she crawled inside herself and died. Where once she would take care of me and my younger siblings, I took over as mother, not only taking care of the twins, but also taking care of her. I was robbed of my childhood by having to grow up like that, and I left it the first chance i got. She disowned me... No one really knows that though, not even the people in my village. They all thought I'd run off with some dashing buck." She gave a short, dry laugh as she thought back on the day she'd returned in attempts to make peace with her mother, only to be met with the questioning stares, and whispered speculations by people she'd once called freinds. "when I went back to make amends with her, she was... my whole family was... they were all dead." Lumi could barely whisper that last part, she'd never said it out loud, even if her Guardian had told her it helped with the healing process. In fact, she'd never told anyone this, she was usually too scared they would leave her because of her emotional baggage, which is why she tried to leave first always. But with Heret, it had all been different, that's why she even thought about telling him this. "So, what I'm trying to say is, I would rather die, than have our family go through something like that. I'm willing to wait until we can live safely and happily. I want to have a family with you, I'm certain of it, and if that means we have to wait, then we'll wait." Lumi leaned forward and buried her face into right under Heret's chin, nuzzling him affectionately, and rubbing agaist the cloth wrapped around his face. "although, if we wait too long, i might have to kill your father myself."

Heret listened quietly, his frown increasing as Lumi's story continued. "I'm so sorry, Lumi." He finally stated, nuzzling her back. His expression was guilty as he put his head over her neck. His father had probably been the one to send her father off to the dead city and that had ruined Lumi's childhood. "I wish you hadn't had to go through that. It wasn't fair to you at all." The herla whispered, snuggling close to his mate's side before he forced a tiny smile. "I'm sure you would kill him. And we will have a family eventually. I promise."

Lumi's head disconnected from Herets side to look at him seriously for a moment, which she was sure probably wouldn't make the impact that she wanted. "Heret, dont you dare be sorry, it's not even remotely anyw were near your fault. You and i were both too young to do anything about it. Besides, we should probably be happy life turned out the way it did, if it hadn't, we wouldn't be together." she gave him a quick eskimo kiss before quickly taking a few steps away giggling and feeling for some reason in a far better mood, almost as if she were a fawn again.

"But I'm sorry Balin and I couldn't kill him for you." Heret stated simply before he smiled, "You're right. If it wasn't for my son of a b***h father, I wouldn't know you. That would most definetely suck." He blushed as he was kissed. "Where're you going, silly head?" The herla chuckled and followed after Lumi.

Lumi stopped shocked and stared at heret, she was stunned, it wasn't as if she'd never heard language like that, but just hearing it come out of Heret's mouth was out of place. She giggled and shook her head. "Heret, such language! It's a good thing we dont have any Faws now, who knows what kind of innapropriate things they might pick up from you! I think I shall have to go to the river and rinse out your mouth!"

Heret chuckled softly, "Oh come now, you know it's true." He smiled, nuzzling Lumi. "But if you want to wash my mouth out, I guess I won't stop you." The herla grinned, nuzzling his mate again.

Lumi smiled mischeviously as she nipped at Heret's ear playfully, pulling out of reach before he could really have a chance to do anything. "Hey you'd better watch out Heret, or else i might just have to get a little revenge from when you got me completely soaked!" she changed the tone of her voice to an overdramatic 'all the world is against me' sort of a voice. Normally, she'd never act this way, but with Heret, she could be silly around him and not feel out of place. It was a very freeing sort of feeling.

The herla chuckled, smiling as he followed after the sound of Lumi's foot steps. "Oh really now? And what sort of revenge would that be?" He teased her lightly. He had never been able to act this way.

Lumi chuckled wickedly for a moment as they continued on their way towards the small stream and waterfall near Herets -their- home. "Oh, you'll find out." She called in a slightly suggestive sounding sing-song voice. She wanted to attempt to lead Heret on, which in reality was a a little awkward to her, flirting was not her best ability. She smiled to herself though, becuase she knew in the end she was only going to be dunking Heret into the water.

"I sure hope so." Heret chuckled as he followed after Lumi, his grin wide. That was when he felt something small and furry land on his rump. He gave a squeak as he leapt a few feet forward in fear, effectively shaking the dark green rion who had used him as a seat. The Rion gave an angry chatter of sound as it shook itself off, glaring at Heret.

Lumi was about to reply to Heret about how it wasn't nice to not take her threats of revenge of revenge seriously, until she heard him give a squeak of either surprise or fear...
Lumi twirled around in an instant, eyes wide, expecting to see Heret falling over something, or into something, or some sort of thing that would cause him bodilly harm. Instead, she was greeted with the sight of a very shaken looking Heret, with a very angry looking Rion trying it's best to remain firmly on Heret's hindquarters. She couldn't help but laugh. "oh, Heret, you're such a goof..." She shook her head smiling and walked back up to Heret. "I's just a Mio-.... oh, no, It's a Rion. My mistake."

"It's not my fault! It surprised me." Heret exclaimed, trying to make up an excuse for his squeak. "You would have squeaked too." He turned his head back towards the Rion, who had climbed back onto his rump, almost as if he was looking at the critter. "What's it want?" The Rion answered Heret's question itself as it scurried forward, one of its tiny paws moving for Heret's blindfold and the other moving for the chain of his earring. "Lumi, make it let go!" Heret whined as he tilted his head so that the earring would't harm his ear. Meanwhile, the dark green creature seemed to laugh, tugging at Heret's blindfold again.

Lumi rolled her eyes and said in a sarcastic tone of voice, "No, I would have screamed, becuase that is what females tend to do when surprised or frightened. I'm sorry darling but I'm afraid I haven't idea what it wants...." She took a few quick steps forward, closing the gap between Heret and herself. She tilted her head to the side to peer at the green little rodent. She heard her Guardian in the background freaking out about the fact that this rodent, reminded her of the rats, and that she needed to get of there before she "blew some astral chunks" Lumi had no idea what that was but she was grateful when her Guardian left her alone. Her attention returned to Heret when he began to ask her to make the thing let go. Her eyes narrowed like a mother who'd just caught a child in the cookie jar. "now... sweetie, don't pull on Heret's ear charm, that will hurt him, and will only result in you getting hurt as well." She didn't notice the thing was also tugging at Heret's blindfold.

Heret opened his mouth to retort that Lumi would have squeaked because she would have been surprised, not scared but he instead yelped lightly as the Rion tugged lightly on his ear charm again. "Luuuuuumi, getitoff!" He whined, shuffling in place. The Rion looked over Lumi as she spoke to it before it squeaked and let go of Heret's earring, only to grab on to his blindfold with it tiny front paws and give a mighty tug. Heret cursed as he felt his blindfold come free, showing the nasty scar that had been his eyes to the world. "You little monster, give it back!" He cried out, ducking his head to try and hide the scar from Lumi.
