Zinnia wasn't even watching. She felt embarrassed still, so she concentrated on petting the half-asleep Zyk. The dark blue-gray fur was quite silky and smooth, making her fingers slip across it. Zinnia wore a hint of a smile as she groomed her smallest friend.
Shadow Mew made herself flicker and vanish, but she watched the battle intently. This was a fight of those who were very serious. It may be training, but the human really could get hurt. The mew wasn't worried about the mewtwo-- if things got serious, he could just stop everything with his psychic powers. She wondered how such a powerful pokemon allowed itself to be ruled by a human. Sure, Shadow Mew followed Zinnia around, but the young human in no way controlled the mew. Shadow Mew's eyes locked on to the machine on Prototype2's chest. Could it be that...?
Shadow Mew forced herself to look away, disgusted.

Not even nodding his head, the Pokemon did as requested and started to throw two knives at a time. One would usually come from one direction, and another would come from an alternate direction.
When the first set of knives flew at her, she managed to dodge one, but her uniform got sliced around the torso by the second kunai. Yet her movement sent her landing near a pile of already thrown weapons. Picking up her choice weapon, she then returned her glance to the Mewtwo to find it had already thrown two more knives. This time, rather than try to dodge them both, she ran to dodge only one, and ran straight for the knife's partner. With her own kunai, the girl blocked the second knife.
The training continued this way for a while, until one more mental command was given.
You have 30 seconds to end this battle.
For a moment, the Mewtwo paused and seemed to look away in the direction of the invisible Mew. He nodded his head, then turned back to his master. The Pokemon lifted a several kunai and all at once, threw them at the Rocket. However, this was only to serve as a distraction.
Kunai had fought with this Pokemon several times, so even though she attempted to dodge the knives for the sole purpose of surviving, she was a bit wary as to what the Mewtwo was doing. However, even with her eyes fixed on the Pokemon, he almost seemed to disappear.
Prototype2 had simply teleported, disappearing from in front of the Rocket, and reappearing behind her, his hand held out behind her neck as if he was going to attack. From this position, he stopped all of the weapons mid-air.
In a calm voice, the girl stated "Training exercise, Duel, over." She might have been done for the moment, however, Kunai had other plans for the Mewtwo.

Shadow Mew's eyes had drifted back onto the battle as it continued. Clearly, the Mewtwo was stronger than the human. So the only reason he could be working under a human would mean that, for some reason or other, he cared about the girl. Or it could be from that machine. The Mew remained silent, but watched invisibly with wary eyes.
Zinnia had been watching for the last few minutes of the fight. She clapped when it was over. "You're both so amazing!" she said happily. There were red marks on her face from when she had clutched her face in fear at the intensity of the training exercise.
Zyk woke up from the noise of Zinnia's compliments and squeaked tiredly. He flew down to his trainer's shoulder, sensing that it might be time to leave soon.
((Maybe SM and P2 could have a one-on-one chat somehow?))

((P2 is a selective mute, which means he'd need to feel comfortable first. However, if questions were somehow directed towards him, he might actually give nods >.> ))
The pink-haired girl's attention was stolen away from her Pokemon and redirected to the intrusion to the training. Her green eyes narrowed and seemed to glare daggers in the girl's direction. In contrast to her detached tone she'd been using the whole time, it seemed her anger got the best of her. "So, do you enjoy trying to kill yourself?! You realize that getting yourself killed or even drastically injured in the training facility will raise the company insurance drastically." No, it wasn't concern for the girl's safety, but rather for the finances of the institute that had set her off. Kunai already knew that dying on the duty was highly acceptable.
By this point in time, the girl was now making her way back to the seating area, almost looking as if she was about to hunt down the kid and make her pay for what she did. However, being about business, she merely just passed the younger Rocket and sat down where her computer had been waiting for her. And it almost seemed like within a blink of an eye, the pink-haired Rocket seemed to resume her colder persona.
"Training exercise, strength enhancement."
During this whole rise and cooling of emotion, the Mewtwo remained in the arena, hoovering slightly over the ground. He hadn't reacted even in the slightest, but instead had his eye looking into the small screen. Only once the command had been given did the Mewtwo start to clean up the mess that was upon the field. The knives weren't going to pick themselves up (despite the fact they looked like they were).

((He doesn't even talk using telepathy, like Shadow Mew?))
Zinnia was confused. Someone could have died? But it was a training exercise... She shrugged it off. She tried to ignore the other girl, but curiosity overcame her and she sidled closer, trying to peek Kunai's shoulder to see the computer screen.
Zyk, meanwhile, prepared to settle down once more. With a slightly irritated squeak, he jumped into the air and latched onto a beam on the ceiling. He folded his wings as he stood upside down and promptly fell asleep again.
Shadow Mew kept her eyes on Prototype2. Gently, she nudged her consciousness against his as if asking permission to speak to him. Normally, she just went ahead and spoke when she wished to, but against such a powerful being, she did not want to provoke any unwanted aggression.

((Nope... he doesn't vocalize his thoughts through telepathy either.))
So far, there wasn't much information on the screen, since the computer was just booting up. However, Zinnia's presence was easily noticed. Kunai, knowing that her information typically was considered classified. With a swift motion, she took her hand and closed the laptop shut.
"Classified information." Her eyes once more seemed to grow more angry.
The Mewtwo set down the knives along the edge of the battlefield, then began to look around for something. As he looked around, he felt something press upon his mind. However, despite the being seeming to request for permission quite politely, Prototype2 did not respond. In fact, it didn't seem like he cared if someone used telepathy to speak to him. However, his own thoughts were very heavily protected.
His green eyes did happen to locate something which he needed for his training. Closing his eyes, he drew a spare sheet of metal that was leaning against wall for some reason or another towards him.

"Hey, I'm a rocket, too!" said Zinnia hotly. "You shouldn't keep secrets; we're teammates!" Zinnia was always curious and people who hid things from her made her frustrated.
When she received no reaction, Shadow Mew hesitantly "spoke". She wasn't sure what to say, but she wasn't embarrassed, either. she asked. She did not know that Prototype2 was a selective mute and probably wouldn't reply.

Kunai's expression went back to serious and cold quite quickly. She pointed to her Pokemon-tool on the field. "That is my only partner." She could go further into depth about her missions and how she'd been there much longer than this little girl could ever realize, but again, it was classified information.
She still waited for the girl to turn away, but she added a simple "You need to earn the title of being a Rocket. You might have the uniform, but that doesn't mean a thing if you cannot stand on your own two feet."
The green Pokemon lifted the sheet of metal into the air and held it there firmly. He heard the question, but gave no answer in words. His answer was a vague glance over to the one he had just been battling.
Lifting his hand up, he looked as if he was going to attack straight ahead of him. His hand started to glow slightly of blue. And the hand was aimed directly at the metal in front of him in the air.

Shadow Mew pressed. She wanted to ask straight out about the machine on P2's chest, but she forced herself to slow down. She had to take things one at a time if she wanted to stay on the clone's good side. Better not let him catch me thinking of him as a clone she thought grimly. She kept her mind shielded, except for the words that she wanted to speak. The odd thing about Shadow Mew was that, even in her thoughts, she spoke in English.
Zinnia was taken aback. "I... I know that I'm just starting, but I did get a mew..." Zinnia had gotten lots of compliments about that, right before they tried to steal Shadow Mew. Probably they wanted her for experiments, cloning, and battling. But she had been too strong and the higher rank rockets had given up with Zinnia none the wiser.

Prototype2 charged up an Aura Sphere attack, but as the notion of him "caring" for this human, he couldn't help but turn his face away. Of course, he couldn't help but look at the monitor over his eye at the same time. It was then that he released the first of his volley of attacks. The blue glowing orb sped towards the sheet of metal, and upon impact exploded. The end result was a noticeable dent in the metal.
Kunai had no reaction for the explosion. In fact, she was quite adjusted to this style of training. "And do tell, did you steal that Mew? Or did you capture that Mew?" She already knew the status of the situation, seeing as she had completed a round of training with this Rocket-child. There was not even a single pokeball on her belt. And loyalty wasn't something a true Rocket depended on.

Zinnia shifted uneasily. "... I didn't steal or capture her... I just... Convinced her to join me, same as Zyk..." Zinnia had told a similar answer to other Rockets and had been laughed at. She didn't use pokeballs, thinking that they were a cruel way to force pokemon to join you. She relied on promises and luck, which was probably why she only had two pokemon. One weak zubat that she had pretty much rescued and one mew that she had gotten by pure chance.
Shadow Mew watched intently. she suddenly asked, unable to wait any longer. Shadow Mew's tail lashed invisibly. Emotion coursed through her body for a moment, but she quickly suppressed it. Now was not the time.

The elder of the two young Rockets asked yet another question: "What happens when they get bored of 'joining' you?" Kunai was feeling a bit irritable now, seeing as this girl not only jumped in foolishly into a training session that was well under control, but she was preventing her from getting important work done. Unlike those who were able to act the part of a Rocket full-time, Kunai had to pretend to be a normal girl half the time, which meant less time for her to work on even the most basic of tasks.
There would be no answer to this question. Instead, several more Aura Spheres shot towards the sheet of metal. Once more, he glanced to the screen over his eye and noted mentally how his master's heart-rate was increasing. Nothing unusual or perilous to both of their lives.
The sheet of metal, in the mean time, was hit by several explosions of energy, each one denting the metal, until on the final blast, the sheet of metal snapped in half.

Shadow Mew fell silent and pulled her mind away from Prototype2's. He was not going to reveal any important answers easily. Once again she blanked her mind, removing any emotion. Calm and seeming almost bored, Shadow Mew hovered invisibly, waiting for Zinnia to finish up.
Zinnia shrugged. "They'd leave, I guess, but I don't think that they will." She appeared to be desperate to have a long conversation with her own species and refused to take offense. "How did you meet your pokemon, anyway?" Zinnia still didn't know P2's name or species.

Once more, Zinnia would receive an answer she'd probably dislike: "That's classified information." Had it been a Pokemon like the Shuppet she was using when "in character," it would not have been considered classified. In fact, more than likely, the character Mindi would be pleased to let others know where she got her Pokemon. Her fingers tapped in an irritated fashion against the edge of the laptop, seeing as she still wasn't getting a chance to work on her data entry.
Now holding two partial sheets of metal, the Mewtwo spread them out in two different directions and lifted up his second hand. Much like earlier, he began to shoot several blue glowing orbs of energy into the metal targets. Much like earlier, the metal dented under the explosive impact until these pieces snapped. However, this time it wasn't as clean, and many shards of metal were held in place.
It was hard to find good training tools these days.

"Classified, huh? You're really secretive, you know." Zinnia sighed and leaned back in her chair. For about half a second, she was quiet. Then she popped up again. "I have a great idea! How about we get out of here and get ice cream? You don't need to work all day, I'm sure that the upperclass guys won't mind." Zinnia grinned, apparently thinking that she was quite clever to come up with this.
Back up in the rafters, Zyk rustled his wings and woke up halfway. He listened to the conversation taking place below him and woke up a little more. Zinnia was going to get hurt if she kept it up, but Zyk wouldn't let that happen. He got ready to fly down and intervene if things got worse. Even thought he was so tiny, he felt that he could protect Zinnia. He was nervous about P2, though.
