I never really saw the point. It has no flavour, it's just alcohol.

Rum, Martinis, Absinthe, Ale, Lager, Pernod, Apple Sours, Mint Julep, Bellini..

..they all have some sort of flavour in which to judge the drink, but vodka simply does not.

Raw alcohol, with s**t in it so its not to strong so we don't die.
