Saryichu crouched and picked Nixxie up by the scruff of her neck, then proceeded to rub her tummy with one paw, the other supporting her. "Your so adorable...both of you are..." She smiled brightly at her daughter, then finally noticed Ilori. "You taught me how to swim. Nice to see you again." She looked over at the Grinch and the cub. "Does the cub take after him...?"
Aika watched her brother, frowning sadly. She felt sad that he had greeted her daughter that way. As if she were a random stranger. She got up and pulled Aya close, nuzzling her lovingly. "She is family Kaewyn. Please be nice..."
Aya smiled up at her uncle, not getting that he didn't treat her like family. She purred happily. "I like your fur color." She grunted when her mother scooped her up again, mewing.
Aidan nuzzled closer to Grinch, purring happily, though he turned his head from the family. "I don't wanna be here anymore..."

Nixxie squealed and laughed at Sary, waving her paws around until she wrapped her arms around Sary's paw and wouldn't let go. "Eeee!! Aayahahaha!"
Ilori nodded to Sary, "Yes, I remember." He grinned, "I hope that you haven't had to use those lessons unless you've wished to enjoy yourself." He looked over at Grinch and Aidan with a slight shake of the head, "Aidan is everything Grinch is, minus the rough exterior." He smiled, "Sweetest thing you could possibly meet."
"Grinch is not sweet." Phoenix Shelley said, he had come up close to Sary to look closely at his squeal-laughing of a daughter in Nixie.
"I am taking care of him until we can find him a mother." Grinch answered firmly, sounding more agitated than before. He looked down at Aidan's whimpering, gave him something between a gruff and reassuring poking nuzzle, "We could go, but then you might ruin your opportunity to socialize." He snorted. Not that they were likely worth socializing with should they have the same mental capacity as their father.
Kaewyn flicked his tail with an extra bit of agitation at Aika's suggestion to him, he nodded to Aya, "Thank you, though I'm quite certain you'll be far more lovely." There was still a tone of formality.

Saryichu shot her son a look of frustration by his attitude. These two darlings were family. They deserved every bit as much love as the rest of the family. She looked down at her grand daughter chuckling. She shook her paw gently giving the cub a way to play. When P. Shelley approuched she looked up and smiled warmly. "You must be her father. I recognise you. You played with Umicho ages ago. You've grown into a handsome young man."
Aika glared at her brother, now remembering why she had left home. "I see brother..." She picked up her daughter by the scruff of her neck and trotted over to her mother and her mate, then set her down.
Aidan trotted over to Ilori, nuzzling against his paws, watching the others. He really wasn't sure what to do now. He had never been around so many lions before in his life. He kind of hid under Ilori, then climbed up to the clothed lion's back.
Aya frowned, confused, as to why she was moved. But she forgot the instant she was put down. She nuzzled the striped lioness, then pounced on the green cub with a grin. "Gotcha!"

A look of hurt mixed with irritation passed Kaewyn's face as he interpreted the harsh, unspoken words from mother and sister. He took in a breath, "Phoenix Shelley, I think we should go for a walk. I would like to get to know the lion my sister has chosen."
He shot a reproachful look at Aika. Really, how dare she do this to them? Worse, how could she think that it was him who was in the wrong? Worst of all, how could their mother, who had gone through so many hardships, just take this in stride? Aika had been gone long enough for them to think the worst things had happened to her---no word at all from someone they'd cared so much for.
But she hadn't been gone for that long, so this male had just popped in out of no where, gotten her pregnant, she'd left without a word like their father had, and everyone was ok with this? They had flipped their lids.
"Lion-worms." Phoenix Shelley chuckled in response to Sary bringing Umicho back to mind, but before he could respond to the compliment, Kaewyn was speaking. He tilted his head, then nodded, "A walk would be fun. We would all really like--"
"Just you and me."
"But how can you get to know us if it's just you and me?"
"Well, I have an idea at least of who my sister is. It's you I've never met before."
"Uhm..." He gave Aika an uncertain look. He hadn't left his forever friend too far for too long since they'd met! He hadn't even wanted to go tell his family about her, he'd enjoyed being with her so much. Did he really want to go with a lion he didn't know?
Nixxie was squealing up a storm, not really making intelligible words, but babbling sounds as Sary shook her. She grabbed on, bit at toes, tried to swipe without falling off, and tried to climb up Sary's leg all at the same time.
Ilori grinned down at Aidan, "It's ok--Whoa...Hey!" Just about the time Aidan had managed a perch on Ilori's shoulders, Aya had tried pouncing him---it was a miserable failure, Ilori was too tall and she didn't even get close to getting up Ilori that way, "Whoa there, you can't attack something ten times bigger than you." He chuckled at her.

Saryichu gave Nixxie to her daughter, then padded over to her son, nudging him to the side, out of earshot of her daughter. "I am not happy with this my son. I just do not want to scare her away. I cannot stand to lose her again..." She nuzzled his cheek lovingly. "I'm so greatful you have not left me. Know that I love you. Very much." She smiled and walked back over to Aika, this time picking up Aya. "Hello sweetheart."
Aika sighed, knowing she was harsh with her brother. But he had crossed the line in her mind. He yelled at her, then treated her daughter like some random lion. She looked at him for a split second, hesitating. If her brother hurt her mate...he'd pay for it. She nodded to P.Shelley giving the ok. "Have fun." She smiled.
Aidan snorted with laughter when the little cub tried to jump all the way up to him. That was funny. He chewed on Ilori's ear in a playful manner, quite enjoying himself up on his perch.
Aya yipped when she was picked up, but giggled when she saw it was her grandmother. She held onto the big paw, nipping on it with a giggle. "Hi!" Her tail swished back and forth in glee. She had picked her up just like she did with Nixxie! Yay!
