Klaus smiled at this, "Well, I consider you to be part of the good kind. Their opinions do not effect mine." He shifted yet another book, then shook his head, "No, it will be fine. This keeps happening. I believe it is one of my other family members trying to get under my skin. It will stop soon enough. But thank you for the offer."

"Heh, thanks." She grinned at Klaus. "I'll read through these and copy down what I need, and I'll make sure I'll put them back so you don't have to." She moved the books to a table and took a tablet out of her backpack and placed it beside the books.

"This'll be my first halloween, so I want to make everything right." She added.

Klaus nodded at her, "Thank you for that. I truely appreciate it." He watched her take out a few of the books and go about her work, and smirked slightly. Then he turned back to the shelf and started moving some of the books around. He went from shelf to shelf organizing the books.

Finally he finished with organizing them, although part of his knew that they would just be mixed up again as soon as he left and came back in... Sighing, he moved over to the table Rene was at, "Have you found what you were looking for?"

She nodded at him when he left and went to coping the notes. One thing she had learned from Kyrthria during her stay at the house was an effiecent way of keeping notes. Written in elvish shorhand and in spirals, it was hard to decipher and quick to write.

Rene jumped slightly and looked up at Klaus. "Oh, yes, thank you." She blinked at him. "I at least know how to fit things properly, and know where to put my hands on the machine so I don't get threaded."

He stared at the paper, not understanding any of what was written. "Hmm. Well, that is good at any rate. What sort of language are you writing in? I do not recognize it at all." He'd never seen anything like it, in fact. Not that he spent much time studying languages. In fact, it was one area he strayed away from. Latin he knew, but that was different.

"Crappy elf-doctor shorthand." Rene grinned a bit. "One of Jeane's friends is a doctor, and she likes to experiment with stuff that she shouldn't be experimented with. She developed writing like that so no one would see what she was doing and kill her for it. Reading in spirals gives most people bad headaches. It's compact and good for writing notes quickly."

Standing, she stretched her fingers out, flapping her hands at the wrists. "Hurts the hand like hell, though."

Klaus stared at the writing for a moment, "Yes, I can understand what you mean by bad headaches..." He looked away and rubbed his eyes. "In any case, it is incredible that someone could come up with their own writing like that. Or how either either of you are able to read such writing." Of course, he didn't like reading period, so why would he like to read in circles? Hmmm. But it was rather ingenious. He would have to meet this doctor woman some time.

"Kyrri's a smart woman. She taught me last christmas when she was up, 'cause I was hiding from the whole Christmas Spirit thing." Ah, yes. Kyrthria didn't get Christmas either, so the pair of them had spent the whole celebration hiding from everyone else in the basment. She hoped Kyrri was coming back this christmas.

"It's easier if you twirl the paper, but then it has a whole hypnotic effect to it. Besides, when Conan tries to figure out what I've written, it'll frustrate him. That's reason enough for me to do anything."

Klaus paused, thinking, "Christmas? I have heard about it somewhere before, but I do not think I completely understand what you mean. I am still rather confused on all of these Earthly customs." In fact, he'd been downright confused about Halloween, but had stopped caring about the specifics as soon as he'd been told he could create a haunted house to spook the heck out of people. "Care to enlighten me as to what this 'Christmas is about?"

"Traditonally? It's a celebration for the birth of Christ, son of God. People give gifts to one another in memorial of the gifts that the wize men gave to Christ." Snorting slightly, she continued. "Now it's more of a massive gift giving celebration. My host Mother doesn't beleive in God, yet she celebrates it. Most people give gifts so that they will receive in return. The weather usually gets cold, the malls are crowded, annoying music abounds, and if you're in a bad mood you get yelled at constantly."

The boy raised an eyebrow, tempted to comment on the whole 'Christ' matter, and the gifts and whatnot, but finally ended up with one question, "She does not believe in god? And yet she has an angel within her family? Or I should say a fallen angel, rather." He wasn't sure whether she would be sensitive to the term or not, but it was true, what they were. And there was really no way to get around that.

"She's stubborn." Rene snorted. "Said untill she got an Archangel come down on her porch and beat her upside the head, she was beleiving in science. Apparently a seraphim crash landing on her picknic table wasn't close enough."

"Meh. We've two in the family. Chaya won't tell anyone what she got banished for. I doubt she knows. And me, well-" She shrugged. "I screwed up, big time." At least she'd progressed far enough to admit that.

"Stubborn, eh? I have not bothered to ask my family members their current beliefs. They would probably simply ignore me." Though he still believed that being ignored was better than being hugged every two seconds or so.

"There are currently four fallen angels living under this roof. My twin brother and myself, and our two... 'cousins'." He didn't have a very favorable opinion of them either. Not after they tried to trip him down the stairs. "I was simply banished for the way I think. I do not consider it that much of a problem. My brother... His fondness for explosives is what did him in." He shrugged, not finding that difficult to talk about. Admittedly, he didn't remember much for Then, but the reason for their banishment was clear in his mind.

"It's better not to ask, sometimes." Her eyes glazed over slightly. "I asked Pepito what she beleived in once, and was treated to a three hour rant on some God of war, or something. I don't remember. My brain shut down halfway through it."

"Oh, a twin? Interesting. Is he much like you?" Rene asked him, smiling slightly. She only knew one set of twins, and they weren't anything alike. "Well, I've learned something important: When someone very powerfull tells you not to do something, and you do it any way, He will kick you out."

"I suppose. I do not believe that anyone under this roof has any specific beliefs. But perhaps one day I will ask." Or perhaps not. Only time could tell, and at the moment he didn't feel as though he knew or liked any of them enough to ask such a thing.

"Like me... No, not really. We are quite different, in fact." It applied to both looks and ways of thinking. His brother was much more simplistic in the way he thought, and really only had one focus. Klaus, however, was far too complex for his age or, probably, his own good. "I suppose you could say that we are two sides of the same coin." He'd decided to drop the topic of banisment. Rene didn't seem altogether too comfortable with talking about it.
