Jaelle raised her eyebrow. She'd heard of the place. "That's pretty nice, in the way of studios. I have a client that goes there, for ballet." A short chuckle for his comments on the name.

Even taken a dance class there once. Of course, that was long before Thomas had worked there. Maybe she'd have to stop by sometime... A grin and she shook her head as she watched him get her drink. There she was, getting ahead of herself.

"Thank you, again." She nodded to the second drink he'd brought her. "A creamosa? It's soda water, flavored syrup, and cream." Jae gave him a look, contemplating. "Try it." The glass was slid partially across the table, so that he'd have to either take it or lean in, and the straw was pointed his direction.

Ah, ballet, the one style of dance that Thom was rather unfamiliar with. That wasn't to say he hadn't taken a lesson before- but it wasn't something he'd repeated. He was light on his feet, sure, but he didn't want to be THAT light.

"I'd ask you for her name, but I doubt I'd know her, ballet isn't my corner of expertise," he chuckled, before listening as she spoke about the creamosa. Well, it certainly sounded interesting enough. As she slid it towards him, he smiled slightly, his hand reaching to slide it closer. He did lean in though, taking the straw gently between his lips and taking a sip.

He drew back then, sliding the glass back towards her as he contemplated whether or not he liked it. It wasn't bad, he supposed. Watermelon was kind of a strange flavor to pair with cream- but it really wasn't all that bad...

"Not bad," he chuckled, "But for the moment I think I'll stick with my coffee,"

Made him remember egg cremes... He wondered if those still existed.

"Ah, right, old fashioned." It was said with a grin that let Thom know it wasn't an insult, and she pulled her drink back to her, with no apparent qualms about sipping from the same straw he had. Glancing at the watch on her wrist, she glanced out the window toward the building she owned a street away. Her office.

"Thomas, I hate to say this, but I have a meeting in twenty minutes." A raised eyebrow. "I'm a stickler for being on time." A pause, and she glanced briefly down at the near finished drink. She'd have time to polish it off. Bright eyes flicked back up to meet Thom's darker ones. Should she offer her number? Or ask for his? Jae was definitely the type of woman who would call a man, if she wanted to have some fun. Still... Perhaps an open statement that wouldn't be flat-out asking if they were seeing each other again.

Making a decision, she reached down to the bag against her chair and slid out a slim business card, her office and cellphone number along with her name, and an office address printed neatly on an obviously expensive design. Eyes meeting his, she almost dared him to turn the card down. "Here is how you can reach me." A grin. "I've had a good time."

Even despite the grin, he wondered if it was a bad thing to be old fashioned. Or maybe he just worried too much about the matter... Still, he smiled back towards her, but watched curiously as she glanced towards her watch. This was usually a sign of having somewhere to be, or, that she was bored. He didn't particularly like that option- despite her downsides, she was a pleasant, and attractive woman and he had genuinely enjoyed his time with her.

She explained herself, and it helped him to relax about the subject a little more. So it was work then, and she'd enjoyed herself! Both were good to know.

"Good to know. I do like a punctual woman," he smiled briefly, before watching as she offered him the card. He accepted it from her, giving it a good look, before sliding it into the breast pocket of his shirt.

"I'll be sure to give you a call," he told her, nodding, as if to completely confirm his words. He wondered if he should give her his number in return-- but he figured that in the era of call display she was a smart enough cookie to get the number from her phone, or better yet, look him up in the phone book. He was pretty sure he was listed again by now; Gaia had a tendency to overlook necessary items like birth certificates and social security numbers.

Probably for the best; given the spontaneity of the place itself.
