Good, the sing had worked. Now, to get Tomfoolery's HP back up to match his opponent's. It wouldn't get a boost, but it would redeem some of the losses that he had incurred, "Dream Eater."
Yipes, this guy was getting creepy, but I guess it did help a little.

Suddenly, his dreams were being sucked away by an unknown force! Starlily was completely shocked and winced both in his head and in the stadium. He had some notion that he could chase after his dreams and get them back, which led to him sleep-running and tripping over a gravestone and bashing his head against a tree. Ow.
Well... that's one thing she didn't suspect. This skitty packed a lot of hidden surprises, didn't it?
Lizzie still had the belief that she'd win this fight though. Starlily should be waking up soon. Hopefully.
"Sleep talk again!"
Starlily was still snoozing after taking the fall, but he heard her words through all the confusion and stood up. It's not like he could dream about much with most of them being eaten.
He turned to where he think Tomfoolery was and aimed another Brick break at him.

Tomfoolery shook off the hit as he hit the ground again, landing on his feet. If he hadn't eaten that dream, it would have been as good as over, despite the fact that it had left a nasty aftertaste. Despite being inexperienced, the kid had some good instincts.. or was just lucky.
Lumin cringed, that had almost been it. It was a good thing he had gone the cautious route. It had been extremely fortunate that it had all worked out to be prevent his instantaneous loss. Now that Tomfoolery's opponent was awake, however, there was no real choice but to go on the offensive again, "Iron Tail, and give it all you're got."
Tomfoolery nodded, if he could get a good hit in here, then dodge the next attack and get one more in, he could win this. He jumped on a tombstone, and launched himself into the air, his tail taking on the sheen that it took each time he had launched this attack, and spun in the air to try to bring it down on the Cranidos as hard as possible.

Finally Starlily woke up, and it was about time too! He was on the verge of fainting, but he only need to attack the Skitty once more to win.
"Come on! Use another Brick Break!"
The Cranidos woke up to an Iron tail which sent him flying into another tombstone. It took all his strength to pick himself up and not fall into unconcious again. He then turned to face Tomfoolery and hurled another punch at him. He won't lose!

Tomfoolery went flying, landing in a soft patch of dirt and skidding for a little way. His tail twitched once, then twice. He had feinted.
Lumin lowered his head, he felt like he had let down the Skitty. He had grown attached to the little Pokemon in the short time he had gotten to know him, he also felt that he had let down Tomfoolery's trainer, who had trusted him with the Skitty for this battle. He held out the Pokeball that Piney had lent him, "Tomfoolery, you did a wondrous job. Come back." As the trainer platform lowered, he sighed. He had to remind himself that this match wasn't a tournament, and that it had been very close. There was no shame in this kind of loss. He had faced an experienced trainer, and nearly won.

"Good job Starlily." Though this battle was too close for comfort for her, she was still happy that he'd won. Maybe that'll convince him to battle more in the future. But for now, she'd have to get some treats for him.
"Thanks for the nice battle." Lizzie told the other trainer before leaving.
