Morgana eyes narrowed before she glares at Torvil "I am not one of your soldiers Torvil. I am your wife, and you should remember I don't listen when I don't want to. I know my body better then you. Now let me up." pushing off the ground again, she mask the pain that courses through her body.
Damn if the stitches didn't pull she would be surprised. Her body was screaming at her, but with the way Torvil spoke to her she wanted to prove him wrong. Forget that it might harm her, or even kill her. Right now all she wanted to do is remind him of who she was.

Torvil leaned back, bowing his head a little. "Alright then," he murmured. His eyes were starting to glaze over now, as he was still funneling a good portion of his own life source into her body. His breathing was beginning to become shallow and light, but he knew that it was probably the only thing allowing her to move at the moment, so he wasn't going to give up and potentially kill her.
He'd die first.
His hands were starting to shake as he sat there, his skin growing paler and paler by the minute as he kept up his infusion.
She wouldn't be able to stop it unless she distracted him completely from the task, and that was hard to do now days.

Morgana could feel the energy coming from Torvil, and knew it was killing him. Growling, she actually slips off the ground and into his lap. Her other hand freezing as she brings it p to neck. Clasping her hand carefully around his neck, she leans in biting at his bottom lip. A low warning growl coming from her as she attempts to break this trace Torvil was going through.
She wasn't going to be the one to kill him, but damn if she wasn't going to get even with him for doing this foolish stunt.

Torvil's arms wrapped around her weakly as he let go of the infusion. He knew that she was going to get even with him, but in a moment it wasn't going to matter.
Letting go took effort, since it was easier for him to keep spells going than to start or stop them. His eyes rolled back into his head and he tried very hard to stay conscious.
His body shook weakly and his breathing came in short bursts, slowly he started to level out, but he could feel a deeper connection to Morgana, he knew it would fade over time as Morgana's body rebuilt it's own life force, but for the moment, Torvil felt every ounce of pain she did, and he hoped that would help her bear it and recover.
"Heat the tent," He said weakly to the healers. "Then seal it and let no one in or out, and leave us be."
The healers ran to comply.

Morgana was furious, so furious in fact that the moment the healer left she pulled from Torvil's lap "How could you do a foolish thing like that? Are you trying to leave me alone in this world?" she was shaking from the pain and the anger. Her breathing was harder then normal. Sadly the months of war didn't calm her temper at all, in fact it made it shorter then ever.
Standing she moves toward the opening of the tent, only to find she cannot open in. Growling she looks back at Torvil "Tell them to let me out."

"No," Torvil said calmly, turning his head and tracking Morgana as he walked. "And to answer your question. No, I was not trying to leave you alone in this world, I was trying to keep you in it so I wouldn't be," He coughed into the back of his hand and shook his head. "I over did it, I'm not used to these new powers yet. I told you things were changing with my abilities and now I know why. Yuan was grooming me to be his replacement, and I fear that it won't be much longer before Yeria comes looking for you to take on her old position as Priestess as she takes her mother's place. He said as much when he passed."
Torvil turned his body slowly and patted the ground beside him. "Please sit with me awhile, while we recover? We both need our strength, and it has been far too long since we've been near each other and not having to worry about the enemy coming down about our ears," He coughed again covering his mouth a second time.
"I love you, and I have missed you very much,"

Morgana didn't know what to say to the bit of information she had gotten. Her a priestess, like her mother before she passed? How could she, but Yeria would never come find her for that. Shaking her head, she felt herself grow dizzy for a moment before she had no choice but to sit down in Torvil's lap.
Resting her head on his shoulder, she looks at him as she parts her lips "I was so scared I would lose you. Each moment away from you, I felt empty. Like I had lost everything that makes me." looking down, she plays with the dragon around her neck.
She was shaking once again, but this time she didn't realize she was.

Torvil rested his head atop hers, and let out a gentle sigh. "It won't be much longer now my love," He closed his eyes, letting himself begin to drift into a light trance state, feeling the world around him so he wasn't totally out of the loop. He could sense Morgana now very keenly, she had this sort of glow about her, that made him feel stronger when she was near. Granted, it was because she was holding the majority of his life energy, but it was more than that. The fact that she had mastered the elements made her very close to him.
Very, very close.
Taking a deep breath he pulled her tighter to his body, he started to heat the air in the tent more, pulling it from the fire directly, risky, but well worth the increased temperatures.
"We will win this, one way or another."
The tent flap rippled but refused to open, as someone outside tried to enter the tent. No sound came from outside, but it was obvious by the way the tent flap was being assaulted that whoever was there had urgent news.
Torvil sighed and shook his head. "Let her in..."

Morgana looks back towards the tent opening before she looks at Torvil "No..." she whispers before she attempts to pull from Torvil's grip. She wasn't ready for this, and she just couldn't do it "She has to pick someone else, it can't be me." the urgent tone in her voice revealed fear as she backs towards the back of the tent.
No she would refuse, she would not allow anyone to make her become a priestess. She wasn't one, and would never be one.

Torvil sighed and raised his hand again. "She won't accept it Yeria," The tent flap stopped rustling and opened a little then flipped shut again. Torvil turned slowly and moved to Morgana, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close to his chest.
"She will leave you be," He murmured gently. He knew it was only a matter of time before Yeria would return to ask again, but Torvil would keep her at bay.
Why should this be foisted on them.. He'd had no choice... Yuan had forced this on him... He would not let the same happen to Morgana.

Morgana shook her head, wishing more now then ever that she hadn't cut her hair. Burying her face in Torvil's chest she was trembling at she digs her nails into his skin "Being a Priestess killed my mother, I will not follow that same path. I can't, I haven't even had the proper training." looking up at Torvil, she bit her lip so hard that she caused it to bleed.
How could she become the priestess to these people? She wasn't even the same blood as them.

"You cut your hair rather short there love," Torvil murmured, letting the subject go. He wasn't going to let Yeria force this on her, not now, not while he had the power to stop her.
Brushing her cheek he pulled her close, kissing her as soundly as he dared, with all the energy he could gather. Little bits of static jumped from his body to hers, anywhere they touched.

Morgana was cut short before she even had a chance to respond to Torvil. Feeling herself gasp as the shocks form between the two bodies, she slips her arms up and around his neck. Pulling herself closer, she practically giggles into the kiss as if nothing was happen in the world around them. To her it was just like they had just met.
Pulling back from the kiss, she smiles for the first time up at Torvil as she draws a finger along his bottom lip "Mmm I have missed those kisses of yours."

Torvil chuckled, pulling her closer to him and smiling. "As I have missed yours dear one," He leaned in again, kissing her softly, again causing sparks to jump between them. He wasn't sure WHY they were doing that now, but he had a feeling it had to do with the elemental energies they both held in check. --- Yeria grumbled and sat at the totem. Torvil had sent her away, but what he did not know, was she had power as High Priestess. She stood before the grand totem and she touched it gently. Dreaming one, the time has come to pass the mantle, but the one I chose to take my place refuses. I have taken my mother's spot, as she did hers, what shall I do?The Ivory totem rumbled slightly, and Yeria gasped as images invaded her mind. Slowly, they began to make sense and she nodded. "As you command," She murmured, and moved over to the totem of the Serpent. Touching it lightly with her fingers she began to chant. Child of the Serpent, your Lord calls to you; Child of the Serpent, as you so swore to do I now call; Defend thy Lord in his slumber, so that he might rise once more; I ask you only take my place, to learn and teach and understand; Your husband fights me, I will not relent, it is not his place to say; Morgana, Serpent child, this day I name you Priestess under me; Bound by oath and blood, though you know it not, you are one of us; I grant you the power to speak with the Dreamer; Torvil, Hawk child, this day you are Shaman to the Tribe. I bind by blood and by oath, and by child you now bear... Her voice echoed through the temple, and all the air went still. --- Torvil kissed Morgana as he felt the static tingle in his body increase, blue sparks jumped between their skin and lips as the couple remained entwined. He knew what was happening, and he felt the anger rise in his heart. But it was too late, Yeria had done what she had sworn she would do. He would just have to hope Morgana would understand...

The moment Morgana felt the words echo through her, it was like a skull splitting screech of a demon dying. Screaming, she pulls from Torvil as she drops to the ground in pain, her hands covering her ears as she shakes. Panting she stops screaming as she found herself laboring for air, only to find that her lungs couldn't pull any air into them.
Being an elven child, she knew that by becoming a priestess when she was not a chosen child meant life. As the pain course through her blood into her heart she clutches her onto her chest as she doubles over to the ground in pain.
No words left her lips, but inside she could feel this oath that she sworn herself to wrap itself around her soul Not only binding her to it, but to her death. Like her mother, she wasn't a chosen child, and now she would pain for it by losing the grace of her goddess and her immortality.
