Garret made his way to the second floor where he found a jeweled scepter lying on the floor *Here we go.* he thought as he took it. Just then a guard walked into the hall and he spotted Garret. The guard ran off screaming "Thief! Thief!" *Ahhhhhhhh........s**t* he thought as he quickly ran for the library.

Katsuko heard the alarm and slipped out of her covers. she looked around the room and was about to leave her room when she heard footsteps. she sighed and laid back on her bed.

Garret ran through the library and up to the third floor. He saw a door with no light coming from under it. *Damn i'm lucky* he thought as he ran through the door and shut it. *Perfect, it's pitch black.....for the most part* He then looked around. "It's a bedroom..." he said quietly. He looked at the bed and saw someone lying in it.

Katsuko held in her breath at the entrance of the intruder. *Thats not one of my maids.* she thought pointlessly. Katsuko crept away from the invader and backed up to the wall. she swallowed the lump in her throat and then formed her resolve. "are you stealing from my home?" she asked, indicating to his bag.

Garret gasped and ran over to Katsuko, he clamped her mouth shut. "Ok listen, if i so much as hear a squeak from you...." he pulled a dagger from his belt. "I'll slit your throat...are we clear?" he asked.

Katsuko's heart jumped to her throat. she tried hard to calm her nerves and she managed to nod.

Katsuko sighed. she crawled across her bed and then stopped. "You won't be able to fit it all in that bag." she informed him, her voice appearing calm. she spoke regularly, because her voice was naturally quiet and there was no need to lower or raise it.

Garret walked over to Katsuko and slit her arm. "I don't care if it will fit or not put what you can in here!" he demanded.

Katsuko winced at the pain and bit her lip hard so that she wouldn't scream. a tear rolled down her cheek and she moved to her dresser. she swiped everything in with her good arm and then moved to her small table. she glanced at the hair pin and put in everything except the pin. "It's full." she bit back tears.

Garret pointed to the hairpin she had. "That hairpin, give it here. I can put that in my pocket." he said.

"Miss you have two options: You can give me the hairpin and let me go on my merry way. Or you can have your throat slit. Either way I'm getting that hairpin. Even if you scream for guards I'll take it. Because I told you if you made one little sound I would kill you..........now hand it over." he demanded.
