Damu looked it took him a second to spot but when he did he finally nodded. "Yes I see it." He said squinting his eyes a little trying to get rid of the glare from the sun.
As he walked beside his teacher he began to smile as he thought of his mother once more. He felt even more proud as he began to carry himself even stronger and bolder as he walked beside his teacher. He was proud to have such a lion believe in him. As he walked he began to notice they where getting closer and closer back to where their pride was focused.
Once they came with in range his face lit up a little as he saw a dark lioness out in the open. He almost took off running but remember who he was walking beside as he looked up to his teacher waiting for his word on that their lesson was done before he would search out his mother to tell her the news on his first day with her adopted brother.
Soon though he would meet with her and tell her everything that had happened all to the last detail.

He smiled. "Go on then. Go and see your Mother." He was smiling again, touched by the boy's enthusiasm and his eagerness to be off and share what little he had learned. "Next lesson, I'll take you up to the northern border, behind the dens and maybe teach you some defensive techniques that will help you ward off enemies."
He smiled. "It was nice to meet you, Damu. I'm sure we're going to get on brilliantly." He came to a halt and nodded, waiting to watch and make sure his student got off safely.

Damu couldn't help but give a small smile and nod before bowing slightly.
"I'll be sure to get a good nights rest the day before!" He yelled out before bounding off to meet the dark lioness to tell her all about his day as well as interesting things he found out about her adopted brother.
