They are bound by fate to the gifts they have been granted, and so they shall remain." she said coolly as she walked into her tree and disappeared. "Now i humbly request that you leave and give up on your foolish quest." came her voice sounding throughout the clearing.

SuperNerd000 willed himself to keep his calm appearance, then started walking forward. He refused to give up, and he firmly believed that Martel had answers.

the tree lit up in the same pale green glow and a wall of thorned vines grew up from the ground, blocking Nerd's path to the tree as a wave of the same light was let off from the treetop way up high, traveling in all directions across Gaia.
((no, you dont get an explanation yet. is foreshadowing of sorts... ninja ))

((*shrugs* im really pulling this stuff out of my a** as i go along so i dont know...i'd say go back to Zelly or something, but she's kind of preocuppied...wait, i've got it...))
"What the hell did you do?!" Nebilim's very pissed off voice sounded from behind Nerd. "I knew you'd go off trying to help Zel too, but did you really have to be so damn stupid?!" she was standing at the edge of the clearing and stormed her way over to him.

"She's the one we were trying to keep in the dark about this you idiot!!" tears of anger could actually be seen starting to well up in her eyes surprisingly enough.

"Are you insensitive and dense or something?" Nebilim said rolling her eyes as she stopped and turned to look back at Nerd. "Im talking about her memory you twit! Didn't Zelly tell you anything about this whole spirit gig of hers? Martel doesn't want any of the spirits associating with Gaians any more than they have to, romance is especially out of the question! I've heard she can read people like a book, so you probably just doomed Zelly..." she said turning her eyes away in anger and sadness.
