"I would like that." Phoenix Shelley grinned, his tail wagging to stay away from Aika's claws, "I never had a girl friend to hang out with. Just one once for a little bit, but I never saw her again. All I ever see are lions...Well, except Roxy now." He tilted his head, "But I hardly see her anymore either. What do you want to do?"

Aika blushed when P.Shelley said girl friend. But she shrugged it off when he said he'd had one before. "So you've had a girl friend before? I'm your second one?" She tilted her head to the side, still blushing at the thought. This was so sudden. Though she did like him too..."Then your my first boy friend."

"Yes, but only for a little bit. It wasn't even a whole afternoon! I think Grinch didn't like the water." He looked even more confused at that, "You mean you never even saw a boy before? Wow! All the boys and girls are all separated."

"Of course I have! I hava a brother at home." She looked at him confused. "But a boy friend is way different than a brother." She sat down and looked up at him.

"Well, I wouldn't know," Phoenix Shelley answered, "I never had a boy friend that was a brother, or even a brother. Or a boy friend my age. Or many same-age friends, except for that one time. Is a brother better than a friend or always an enemy?"

Aika's mouth dropped open. "You..you've had a boy friend before?! Really???" She stood up and blushed deeply. "N..no...brothers are family..."

Phoenix Shelley looked extremely confused, "Well, uhm, if family is different, then no. Ilori tells me to think of him and Grinch as big brothers to listen to, but I think they're more like dads should be. Bowser is...he's not really friendly...and all the others I don't really know, so they're not friends. So, I guess I've had no friends."
He blinked, "Well, except I've met a lot of lions and lionesses, but only for little whiles, so they don't count."
He frowned, "I've never had a friend before. But I'm happy anyway! Now I have you, and you can be my friend! Will you be my forever-friend, instead of just a little-while-friend?"

Aika relaxed when he explained what he'd meant. She smiled and moved closer, sitting next to him. She blushed at his question. Did he mean what she thought he meant? She was hesitant, thinking for a long moment. Finally she smiled and nuzzled his cheek, purring happily. "Alright. I'll always be with you Pheonix Shelley. I promise."

Phoenix Shelley looked considerably cheered at that, purring back to Aika. "Then I'll be with you too." He agreed, happy that he had a friend.
