"Whaaaat?" Sen made one of those faces. "Of course they aren't doing that. She looks way too much like both of them. You have to find someone who looks nothing like you if you need a stand in mother. That's what's in now. Get with the times, jeez." Unlike Nsundu Sen had the grace and skills that only a Pridelander could. Yeah. Let's go with that. "I'm going to help him out. Watch and learn."
Seriously, the Mtaishi didn't need anymore gay lions running around. She already knew most of her sons, if not all of them, weren't going to help the matter. The least she could do was try and set some of the straight.
...Haha, pun. Sen snickered and trotted on over to Nishan, who stopped in his verbal tracks when he saw her.
"Well, we're looking for, uh. It's a--"
Oh, crap.
"Hey, Nini." Sen greeted, lifting one furry arm and putting it around his neck, drawing him closer. "You've got a good guy here, little lady. I would know. I like, fed him and his siblings when his mother wouldn't do it. For some reason she was always sick after they were born and couldn't do it..." There was a long, long pause. Sen was recalling the memory of Hari's refusal to nurse her own children, and Nishan just couldn't speak if he wanted to. "Yeah. It's kind of like I'm inside you, Nini. Anyone with a piece of me is bound to be really rockin' in the den if you know what I mean."

"Oh. Maybe they're just trying to confirm their sexuality then." Did gay lions even have to try it out to decide they were gay? She didn't know, but she supposed it was on that list of things that lions just new. Everybody seemed to just know that hybrids were infertile just be looking at them, so it was probably possible that lions just knew they were gay since they were born. Perhaps they even knew if they were a fish. Still, Sen was going off to do something amusing, and so Nsundu settled down to watch.
Kule's ears perked at the arrival of another lioness, blue eyes moving between Sen and Bitty for a few moments. They looked… quite similar. Nishan looked nothing like her, but his brother did look quite similar. Perhaps she was their mother? Sen got rid of that theory when she started talking about how long she'd known him and the things she had done for him. It was very peculiar.
"I'm… glad you think that he's such a good guy. He seems very nice indeed." She wasn't sure if that was the correct response, but it sounded alright in her head. "And if he's… 'rocking in the den' then I think that's good too."

"Oh, it's very good." Sen insisted. "Not that I'd know first hand. I mean, I haven't drug him in or anything. But his dad... Actually, that's a bad example. He takes after his mom. His dad is my brother, and I heard he's not very good. But his mom, woah. She's gotta be. I mean she's just one of those people you know is, you know? Like--"
"OKAY THAT'S ENOUGH!" Nishan blurted out, in the loudest, squeakiest voice anyone had ever screeched in. He shoved his own paw in front of Sen's mouth, leering behind him at Bitty with some sort of death wish. You b*****d! Why didn't you help me?! his face was asking. "Sen, I'm glad to see you're okay. The pride misses you. I'm sure Dad does too. Now then, if you would just... be on your way."
Sen quirked a brow but made no move to shove his paw out of her face. The same way he looked at Bitty, she looked at Nsundu. Except her face instead questioned: Can you believe this ungrateful punk?!

Kule could only nod politely as Sen continued, still not entirely sure what she was getting at. Sure her mother had given her "the talk" but it had nothing to do with den rocking. Perhaps she was talking about his ability to make dens? Or maybe move rocks? Those hardly seemed to be feats to be proud of, but who was she to judge that sort of thing? She jumped when Nishan suddenly protested, looking between the two of them in shock. Was he embarrassed? But why?
"It was nice meeting you, Sen," she offered, hoping to at least back the poor flustered lion up. He had said that his brother thought she was pretty, so she owed him that much.
Bitty, for his part, simply refused to make eye contact with his brother. He was not crazy enough to go and face Sen. Let Nishan deal with her. She probably liked him better too.
Nsundu simply rolled her eyes and shrugged. Boys would be boys, and they were always ungrateful for a little help. Sen really shouldn't have suspected anything from her gay nephews. Having two females so close to them was probably detrimental to their health, after all.

Nishan drug Sen a short distant away. Abruptly he pulled his paw back, looking disgusted. A trail of spit fell from said paw to the ground. Sen huffed.
"Well, I wouldn't have done it if you hadn't covered my mouth."
"Look!" Nishan whispered to her, demanding although quiet, making sure she was focusing on him one hundred percent before he kept going. "We're out here because of Mwokoti. That's it. We don't need your help. She wants us to--"
"Oooh." Sen nodded slowly. Twice. It was scary and Nishan didn't want to know why he felt it was. "Oh, I got cha. Don't worry, kid, your aunt has got this. I owe your grandma big time anyway. She took me under her wing when I was your age. It was really generous of her too. Not all Goddesses have the extra wing span to spare, you know?"
"W-Wait!"
But it was too late. Nishan could only watch as Sen returned to Kule, taking her off to the side the same we he had done with her, whispering in much the same manner. "Hey, I hate to ask you this since I don't really know you, but you seem like such a nice and generous lioness. I'm right, aren't I? I am too, and that's my nephew, so you know I have to look out for him, right? But he's a little... you know. Weeeoooo in the head, yeah? Maybe you could do me a favor then? Help him out a bit?"

Kule could only stare after them as Nishan dragged Sen off to speak quietly to her. Had she… missed something? She was starting to get the feeling that they were on totally different wavelengths in this conversation, and somehow she'd missed the point entirely. Or maybe Nishan was just embarrassed about his den building skills. It was hard to tell. She hadn't exactly known him for very long, after all.
When Sen returned, her confusion only deepened. The other lioness seemed to be asking her to do something to help her nephew, though as to what Kule didn't have the faintest idea. Still, she put on her best smile and nodded her head. "I'll do my best, Sen, to help him out, though I'm not really sure why kind of help he needs. Do you have any suggestions?" Worst question ever to ask, but Kule didn't know that. Not yet at least.

Worst question ever, no. Worst question for Nishan's sake for Kule to ask Sen? Oh, yes. Very much so. Those light green eyes all but glittered--dazzled even--as she thought up the best, most honest response.
"Well, you know how you like males, and I like males? ...Actually I really like males. For some things. I don't need them in my space beyond what Mkodi intended us to use them for if you know what I mean. Anyway, what I'm saying is Nishan is like that to. So maybe you could, you know, help him along to the path of enlightenment. Get him to where he can love himself for him, you know? Hinty hinty hint."

Kule did her best to look attentive, nodding as Sen spoke. In reality, she didn't have the slightest clue what the lioness was talking about, but it seemed impolite to question her once again. The first bit seemed simple enough really. Both she and Sen liked males, that much she knew was true. She likes lionesses too, but not in the same way. After that, Sen started talking about space and Mkodi and then things started getting really, really complicated. But she decided to just go along with it. She could always ask Nishan later.
"I'll try my very best to do… those things," she promised, hesitating only a little as she tried to agree to everything Sen was asking her about. "I'll help him along his path of enlightenment. You can count on me."

"Great. I guess we don't have anything left to discuss then, do we?" Sen flashed a final smile. From there it was a clear cut path to Nsundu. The awesome thing about traveling the world with no goal in mind was that there were no such thing as detours. "Ah, that kid. Reminds me so much of his dad. Now that that' settled, where are we headed?"
Nishan wasn't ready to call this a job well down. Sen moved, and he ran to Kule like he was being chased by a herd of elephants. "Are you okay? Did she do something?" The questions flowed in a frantic order, carried by a panicked voice. Who knew what his insane aunt was capable of.
Why couldn't it have been Bitty?

"No, I don't believe so. It was nice speaking to you!" Kule smiled politely, completely unaware of what she had agreed to. But of course, she was not the type to think about stuff like that. Sen had made it all sound so very dire that she probably would have agreed to anything the other lioness asked her. It was simply in her nature.
"How about those demon guys? I've heard some pretty interesting things about them," Nsundu grinned broadly. Now that this business with Sen's nephews was over they could go back to their travels!
Kule was quite surprised when Nishan ran towards her, blinking at his questions. "Do something? No no, it's alright. She's a very nice lioness." In fact, she hoped that she would able to be like that with her nephews, if she ever got to meet them. Always looking out for them and such. It was very nice. "But I've got good news! I'm going to look out for you for now on!" She beamed at him, as though it was the best thing in the world.

"Oh, that's--" Wait, what? Nishan's jaw dropped. He did all he could do: Stare at her. What the... Oh, that damned aunt of his! What had she said to this poor girl?! He groaned at the various answers to that. Ugh... There was only one thing to do. "Alright... Come on then. We'll take care of you while you, uh... look out for me."
From just down the way, Sen smiled cheerfully and walked beside Nsundu. Demon pride? Oh-ho. That might be amusing.
"Nsundu... Have you ever heard of unicorns?"
