Zemel looked Josh, frowning. That wasn't very nice; he hoped the blunt comment hadn't hurt his sister's feelings! That would be just downright awful! Though, he was right; the blue one would look wonderful on his sister.
Ginger frowned; how could he say they're pretty and then say he didn't like any of them? She looked at the blue one, shrugging. "'S blue, though. Blue is for boys." So, in her book, that meant the dress was made for boys.
Nataya smiled, giggling. "Oh, alri~ight." she said, pausing a moment. "Thank you!" she said, smiling before taking a bite of one of the sugary churros. Mmm....cinnamon-sugar bliss!
Stasia smiled, making her run through the store. She grabbed a few pairs of Tripps, some hoodies, a couple t-shirts, and a tank top. That should be enough... though she didn't have the money on her to pay for them. Oh well; she was sure that wouldn't be a problem...
Matthias shook his head. "No...should I?" he asked, looking at her.

Josh shook his head. "Dresses are for girls." He said, frowning. How could she think dresses could be for boys? "And Mommy says blue's for girls and boys. Like yellow and red and green." He explained. "But I think that's cause she really likes blue."
Ben smiled, taking another bite of the warm, gooey mess in front of him. "Do you like it?" He asked after swallowing.
Vate silently handed Stasia his wallet. He had a feeling she hadn't brought enough money to pay for all those. "Here," He said. He would send to Lynwood asking for more later, anyway. They never left him without gold.
Thali frowned slightly. "Oh.. Well, she's the queen. She's an awful lot kinder than Averi. Sometimes she contacts the fae outside of Lynwood. I don't know if she does it very often.. Fa--I mean, Averi never liked the idea much."

Ginger shrugged; she really just didn't like the dress. "That's nice...." she said dismissively, showing just how much she REALLY cared about his opinion. Psh, once she found out that it was different from her own, she lost interest.
Zemel didn't seem to notice his sister's rudeness at all. "That true..." he said, nodding in agreement. "I like yellow...blue is pretty, too..."
Nattie grinned. "Yes! It's very yummy." she said, finishing off the churro before taking a sip of her coffee. Mmm...
Stasia handed him back his wallet. "You keep it; I can handle this." she said, smiling mischievously at him. Sure, she'd told herself she'd stop doing this, but hey, it worked. She made her way back to the counter, grinning.
Matthias just nodded, listening. Yes, he knew Josh was telling the truth, and Thali's little slip-up just helped confirm it. But, he didn't say anything, just listened politely. "I see." he said quietly, nodding.

Joshua seemed oblivious to Ginger's rude behavior. Maybe it was because he'd never been around someone who was rude. Maybe he didn't notice. "I like green best," He told Zemel. "Let's go see the toys!" He took his friend's hand, and pointed to the stuffed animals.
Ben was pleased. "I'm glad you like it," He said cheerfully. "Do you want to do something else? I don't really feel like meeting up with the group yet. Are there any stores you want to go to?"
Thali was hoping Matth hadn't noticed her slip-up. Why'd she have to go and say that? She sighed, and looked at Matth. "I'm sorry," She said, "I haven't been very honest."

"Blue best for me." Zemel said, nodding. After all, yellow looked too much like his hair. He then smiled brightly. "Okay!" he agreed, making his way over to the toys with his friend. Looking at stuffed animals was SO much better than looking at Disney Princess dresses.
"I come too." Ginger said, nodding once. She didn't want to be left all alone in a strange new store. Even if that meant no more looking at pretty dresses. Carrying the Tinkerbell outfit with her, she followed the boys to the stuffed animals.
Nataya smiled, shaking her head. "Not really. There isn't much I need." she said, her tone cheerful. "Any stores you need to go to? I could help carry the bags..."
Matthias looked at her, chuckling. Someone wasn't very good at lying, but he was too much of a gentleman to point that out. "You haven't?" he asked, doing his best to sound surprised. Instead, he sounded sarcastic as hell.

Joshua was happy. He wasn't looking at girly stuff, and Zemel was acting normal again! "Like anything?" He asked his friend. "Daddy gave me and Vinny monies so we can buy stuff!"
Ben smiled at Nattie, and said, "Well, I just heard about a new art shop. I was planning on checking it out. Want to come with?"
Thali noticed Matth's sarcastic tone, and frowned. He'd known then. He'd probably known before Joshua had said anything. Fae were smart; they knew everything. "I'm sorry.." She muttered, looking at the granite floor. How she hoped he didn't hate her! "It's just... well... I don't know..."

Zemel was looking at the toys, debating. They were all nice, but.... That's when he saw it. "I like him!" he said, going over to pick up a plushie of Eeyore. The little guy looked so sad...he needed a good home! And what better a home then their home?
Ginger was busy looking at all the plushies. She wanted one of each; they were all so cute! She barely listened to the boys, to busy deciding which were the cutest and most worthy of her attentions.
Nataya smiled brightly. An art store? "I'd love to!" Okay, so maybe she did need some new supplies; her colored pencils were getting awful short, and her sketchbook was pretty full... She finished off her food, standing up. "Well? Let's go!" she said, smiling brighter than a floodlight.
"It is not something to dwell on, Thali." Matth said, patting the elf on the head as if she were a child. The little thing seemed so worried...

Josh smiled at his friend, nodding in agreement. "Think he needs a family," He said. "If you want, I'll buy him." He smiled. Eeyore needed a home in every one of the movies. Zemel's house wasn't likely to fall down. So in a way... Josh was doing both of them a favor.
Ben smiled, he knew that would interest her. "And if you see anything you like, tell me, alright?" He asked. Joshua had told him that his friend liked art. He stood up, throwing the scraps into the nearby trash. "Let's go," He said, returning her smile.
Thali looked up at Matth in surprise. "But what about wanting revenge? And being angry? And everything else?"

Zemel shook his head. "I ask Mommy." he said, nodding once. Mommy could get it for him, so Josh didn't have to buy him! He hugged the Eeyore plushie; all he had to was wait for Mommy to come so he could ask her! Then again, it would go faster if he went to go find Mommy....
Ginger started listening when Mommy was mentioned. "But how you going to ask? She not here...." she said, looking up from the plush versions of Pooh. Unless her brother had telepathy or something he hadn't told her about, the only way to ask was if Mommy was here with them.
Nataya smiled. "I'll tell you after I've paid for them." she said, giggling as she rose from her seat. She had no intentions of letting him buy her anything else; that's what her allowance was for, anyways."Which way?" she asked, grinning up at the adult.
Matth blinked. "Revenge....?" he asked, arching an eyebrow. "Why would I want revenge? You've done nothing to me."

Frowning, Josh realized that neither his or Zemel's Mommy had followed them. "We can go look for them," He said, putting the plushie he'd picked up back into the pile. "I bet we find them soon!" He wasn't willing to admit that he didn't remember where they had left them. Looking for them seemed like a good way to avoid saying that they were lost. It was, right? They weren't lost if they were just looking for people, right?
For a second, Ben looked like he was going to frown, then he smiled as brightly as he had been before. "Okay," He said, "And you can show me the best pencils to use." He was planning on making Thali something for Valentines Day. "But remember.." He muttered, "You can't tell Thali about it. It's a surprise."
Thali looked confused. "..Well, there's stories about.. Oh, never mind." She paused, and smiled at him. "Friends?" She asked.

Zemel nodded, still holding Eeyore. "We find them." he said, smiling. He would have put Eeyore down, but the little guy might have gotten lonely! "Where to look?" he asked, heading for the front of the store, his eyes already scanning the area outside the shop.
"Psh. Mommy getting clothes. So to clothes store!" Ginger said, knowing that that was the answer. After all, how many clothing shops could their be? One, maybe two, as far as she was concerned. "We go." she said, stating it as if it were an order. She flashed a bright smile at the two boys before heading out of the store, positive she knew the way to find Mommy.
Nataya nodded. "Alright. I promise I won't tell her." she said, walking alongside the adult. "And of course I can! What kind of project are you going to use the pencils for?" she asked, smiling brightly. She'd be glad to help!
Matthias smiled and chuckled; young ones were ever so amusing. "Sure. I do not see why we could not be friends." he said, looking to the confused little one.

Joshua nodded, "And Daddy's looking at art stuff for a picture for Mommy," He said. Art stores would be easier to find, right? There had to be big signs pointing to them, right? He followed Ginger out reluctantly. He knew exactly how many clothes stores were in the mall. More than he could count on his fingers!
Ben smiled, "I'm making Thali a special Valentine card," He said. "I don't think she suspects anything yet. Probably thinks I'm not going to get her anything." He grinned mischeiviously. "I already have her present picked out though.."
Thali smiled, she was relieved. If they were friends, it was far less likely that he'd get angry with her. "Okay," She said, cheerfully. "Do you want to meet a friend of mine? She works in one of the stores near by." She gestured to a fudge shop across from the fountain. "She's really fond of sweets," Thali added, with a grin.

Zemel knew how many there were as well: lots. "Ginger...maybe we look for Josh's daddy first? Be easy?" he suggested, looking at her. After all, they had no idea which shop Mommy was in!
Ginger frowned. "But we need to ask Mommy, not Josh's daddy." she said, stopping to look at her brother. She then grinned. "Besides, finding mommy almost like adventure!" she said, giggling lightly.
Nataya returned the smile. "I'm sure she'll love it! Surprise gifts are always nice. What are you going to give her?" She couldn't help it; she was curious.
Matthias thought a moment. "I don't know..." he said, looking away. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to go in there, considering that him plus sugar equaled bad idea.

Joshua frowned slightly. He knew it would be easier to find his Daddy, the art shop wasn't that far away. Or was it? He couldn't remember... Well, looking for Ginger's Mommy did sound like an adventure.. "Let's be explorers!" He cried.
Ben's eyes shifted, before looking at Nattie and smiling. "Well, she's always wanted a puppy..." He started, grinning. "I thought now would be the best time to get her one."
Thali frowned slightly, though she had spotted someone that had taken her attention from Matth. "There she is now!" She said, happily. She took Matth's hand and led him to the girl.
The girl smiled when she caught sight of Thali. "Princess! It's wonderful to see you." She said cheerfully, "Who's your friend?" She had seen Matth, and was smiling at him now; "I'm Risa."
Thali's smile instantly turned into a scowl. "I told you not to call me that.." She muttered.

Nataya smiled brightly. A puppy? What a wonderful gift that would be! Especially if she'd been wanting one for a while. "What kind of puppy are you going to get her?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. After all, there were a lot of different kinds of puppies! Big ones, small ones, cute ones....not-so-cute ones... She smiled again. "Though, I'm sure whatever puppy you get her, she'll absolutely adore it." she said, nodding once.
Matthias blinked as he was pretty much dragged along. He blinked as he met the overly-chipper girl. "My name is Matthias..." He said slowly, not sure whether the girl's bright attitude was endearing or annoying.
