Rhell looked incredulously at Lana. "Well last I checked it was the second Millennium A.D. and this 'dimension' is called Taluria." He responded a bit harshly. "By the looks of you, there is no school that you would go to in the next several hundred miles." Rhell said holding out a hand to help her up. "You know you remind me of myself when I first woke up in the middle of nowhere and had no idea of what was happening. Faeries, Pheonix's, or dragons? From what I have seen anything can really happen like those things." Rhell laughed to himself. "I'm Rhell, you are?"

While Lacey was serving her customers, she would occasionally catch words like "inspection" and "abilities". She felt a little worried and as soon as she heard that the soldiers were coming, she asked the hostess to keep an eye out for the customers. She looked out the nearest window and saw that the soldiers were about to enter the town. She was worried because the way Lana was dressed and her confused expression would draw more suspicion to the town. Lacey walked out the door and ran to Rhell and Lana. She caught her breath and said,
"The soldiers are coming to inspect the town."
She looked at Lana,
"I have some extra clothes. I suggest you change into them."

The soldiers entered town, accompanied by a small boy. The boy had a sad expression on his face. The leader patted him reassuredly on the back.
"Don't worry. As long as you use your gift to detect others of your kind, we'll keep your family away from prison and spare your life."
The soldiers spread out keeping a perimeter on the town. Each of the soldiers gathered the townspeople from everywhere. They all assembled, and the boy stepped in front and concentrated. He felt each of their auras. After having his ability for a while, the boy learned that each and every aura was different. But all of the survivors of the "virus" had something in common. The boy didn't know what exactly that thing was, he just had a strong feeling inside him that these people were just like him. And he was always right.
The boy cleared his throat.
"These people are fine. The ones you seek are still in this town, hiding."
The leader pointed his weapon at the boy,
"Take us to them." he said in a harsh voice.

Rhell turned to Lacey. "The military? Damn, fine, can you take her out of here?." Rhell turned back to Lana. "I don't have time to explain but you need to leave. I have to go back for someone." Rhell said turning to the village.
Mel dropped the cup of tea for his father and ran to him. "They have come like Rhell warned!" Mel ran over to his father.
"As I feared they would, I felt a presence unlike any other..." The elder said. "Mel I want you to run, run from here and seek Rhell's help." The elder stood, he unwrapped his eye bandage and began drawing many different wicked shapes, as they became more and more alive. "They will not have my village under their control without a fight."

The boy said,
"Wait, one of them is staying where he's at." He pointed toward the direction of the elder's house and gave specific directions to his house.
"There's another on the move. I can find her." The boy said this because he could sense the strength of the elder, and it frightenened him.
The leader paused,
"Alright I want a few of you to accompany the boy. The rest of us will find the one who's staying."
The boy lead a few of the soldiers to Lacey and Lana.
Lacey looked far away, she could see a small group heading toward them.
"We have to leave now, they're headed right toward us!"

On their way, the soldiers passed by Rhell. One of them walked up to Rhell,
"You weren't at the inspection. Stand by and wait for inspection."
They pushed the boy in front of Rhell, he was crying.
"Is he clean?" the soldier asked.
The boy hesitated.
"Speak up boy, remember our deal!"
The boy whispered,
"Help me."

Rhell ran toward the elder's house, but hid when the group of soldiers began running. "There's no way I can..." He whispered, cursing under his breath.
Mel ran, stumbling over the rocks on the ground heading to Rhell.
"It is finally finished, my creation is completed... All my strength... Goodbye Mel, survive it all for me." The elder collapsed, his breathing low. Then, a giant mass of moving shapes forming one form crashed through the roof of the hut, and collapsed the structure.
Rhell watched the hut fall. "Old man!" Rhell shouted. Then turned his attention to the Boy at his side. "Wha?"
The soldiers stepped back, firing their guns rapidly at the giant rampaging beast. Shouts could be heard of: "Torch the village!" and "Burn it all down!"
The village went up in flame, and the monster fell. It rained ink over the village. Soon the flames settled
"Sir, the infected inside the village was killed, and the village burned, what do we do about the refugees?" A soldier asked into his phone.
"Escort them to safety, but send your main forces on the infected." The voice in the phone responded.
Mel ran up to Lana and Lacey, he then collapsed and could run any farther.

By the time, the fire was blazing, the soldiers had placed oxygen masks. One of them placed a mask on the boy and shoved him to find the others.
"Stop it!" he yelled. He was feeling so guilty, he didn't care what would happen to his life or his family's. All those people perished in that fire and he was certain worse things would happen if he continued with them.
The soldier dialed his phone,
"It's time for plan B. Let him talk to the boy."
He handed his phone to the boy.
"Toran?" the voice on the phone asked.
"I'm sorry Father! I'll come for you. I..." Toran got cut off by the soldier.
Toran turned to the soldier,
"I refuse to help you do your dirty work."
The soldier lifted up his stun weapon.
"We have other ways of persuasion."
((I'm just planning on having Toran be a temporary character, that's why I'm not giving him a profile))

(im gonna give Mel one i think.)
Rhell stared darkly at the soldier. "You killed them both... I could have cured him." Rhell grabbed the soldier by his neck, and his power was activating. He began emanating a crimson aura visible only to those infected. "Die all of you!" Rhell smashed his fist into the man's ribcage. Then dropped him. Rhell grabbed Toran and threw him away. "I could have helped everyone!" He yelled reminding himself of his rage, making himself even more angered. He pulled out his blade and dropped the scabbard. The metal glinted brightly in the sun. Rhell rushed with the sword in front of his in a form of bayonet charge. He ripped recklessly through them one by one. They fired their guns, but every bullet, every hit didn't seem to matter to Rhell.

((Wow, Toran's just a kid like 9 or 10 years old.)) Toran just layed there on the ground. Everything went wrong, all those townspeople died and his family was going to get hurt and tortured in prison. He felt even worse that he was selfish enough to worry about his own life. He didn't know that things would turn out the way they did. There wasn't a word that could be used that could describe the way he felt. Toran stood up and felt each of the soldier's agitated auras and he even felt his own.
"I've gotta help him!" he kept thinking that over and over. Somehow, instinctively, he used his own aura to calm down each of the soldiers. They became slower. While Toran kept doing this, the soldiers became even more complacent, until they stopped moving. Toran collapsed afterward.

((In the real world)) Mathias could see Rhell and his actions. He just thought that Rhell was a character, but somehow, he felt even more real. He kept writing and chose to write in another event that could give the characters hope. He wrote of a rebellion of those that were infected and not. Those people would come in and give back up to Rhell. Unfortunately, they were held up by a similar incident to Rhell's, but some twenty members of the rebellion were able to find the town and render assistance.

((Sorry I missed so much. I started to post yesterday, but I had to leave before I could finish >.< gak!))
Lana's mind was temporarily paused; frozen in time. But her body seemed to be functioning, somewhat. She stumbled behind Rhell and the other girl as they walked into the tavern.
No sooner than Lana's clothes had been ridiculed, then she was stumbling out of the tavern to line up in the village.
All of the villagers were lined up, apparently for some sort of inspection. Lana still had no idea what was going on, but she knew better than to ask at a time like this.
Next thing she knew, Rhell was running... to.. avoid something? He was running toward an old hut.
Lana watched as a giant figure erupted from the hut's roof... and all she could do was stand there. The city was burning. The military officials seemed to be protecting a boy.
And suddenly, Rhell was charging at the soldiers, screaming with rage. His sword slashed through the guards and blood flew up into the air.
Lana's body was acting on its own. She stumbled forward a bit to be closer to the action, but she still observed from a distance. Her eyes were fixed on the fire, locked and unmoving. And the boy. There was something about him that didn't seem quite right. The government soldiers were protecting him, but harming everyone else... and he gave her a strange feeling. He seemed to be hiding something, and he always had a guilty look on his face.
Her eyes drifted back to the flames. They were mesmerizingly drifting upward, leaving ribbons of smoke swirling around in the wind.
And Lana had lost sight of the boy. She still spotted Rhell and the girl down by the hut, but she couldn't find the boy who gave her such a strange feeling.
But not for long. She heard a man's voice behind her hiss, "There!"
And a hand grasped her mouth. Then more hands bound her wrists. She was able to see a slender man tying up her hands while another one grabbed her and threw her into the back of a truck... and drove off...

There was no way of chasing the truck. Apparently the soldiers mistook Lana for herself. They turned to escort her and Lacey grabbed his hand so tightly and threw it down.
"You guys are such idiots." She quickly drew her rapier and struck the soldier. She could see the soldiers movements using her ability. She would zoom in and out, rapidly analyzing their movements. Lacey was able to take out those soldiers or use them as a human shield before they could fire. She would circle round and around them, throwing each of them off balance. When she had the time, she scanned the area for anybody that could possibly need her help, she spotted Mel. She knew his family for quite sometime, especially since Mel's father was a frequent customer at her tavern.
She ran to Mel cutting through any soldiers that got in her way,
"Mel!!!! Are you alright?" She cradled his head with her hand.
Lacey looked up in the sky and saw the crimson swirls of smoke. The few members of the rebellion that were able to get there approached Lacey and asked her where the soldiers were. Lacey pointed to the smoke,
"Follow the smoke." The leader had the gift and he led his troops to give support to Rhell. He ran to the smoke, leading his men to help.

All Lana could see was the bottom of the pickup truck. The two men had thrown her in the back and took off, but not without tying up her wrists and ankles and tying a rag around her mouth. There was only one thought in Lana's mind: stop the truck.
The wind howled across her face from the back of the pickup as her cheeks began to feel cold and numb.
Stop the truck, stop the truck.
The smell of thick smoke still hung in the air, and she could see a hint of it swirling around in the air.
Stop the truck...
In her mind flashed the image of Rhell running toward the guard with his sword. And the boy's guilty expression.
Stop the truck, stop the truck.
And she'd never even gotten to introduce herself to Rhell when he'd asked... or the girl who offered her the clothes...
Stop the truck, stop the truck, stop it, stop it, please stop the truck stop it now!
And her body was thrashed to the opposite side of the bed of the truck, crashing into the steel that lined the back. Now she was facing the other end of the truck, and she could see the back of the driver's seat. The wind created from the truck's speed had died.
From her position, she could see the passenger flailing his arms wildly at the driver, expressing uncontrollable anger. Lana could hear his yelling.
"WHY'D YA STOP THE CAR?!?!" the passenger screamed at the driver.
The man behind the wheel replied, "I just had to stop the truck. I dunno. It was just saying 'stop the truck, stop the truck, stop the truck,' and so I stopped the truck. I kinda couldn't stop myself..."
The man in the passenger seat became even more enraged. "Then screw you, I'm takin' over!!!" he yelled. The passenger proceeded to shove his way into the driver's seat and start the truck again. And the driver had just come back to his senses...

"Wait! There's a girl who needs help!" She looked as far as she could and saw a pickup truck heading north.
"Please have somebody here to watch over Mel. I'll help you find the girl."
The leader nodded. Lacey ran to the the drivers seat of one of their two vehicles and slammed the door. As soon as the car started, she slammed on the gas. She had to hurry, in several minutes the truck would get out of her line of vision. She was accompanied by two of the members of the rebellion. They armed themselves with guns and got ready to cover her. Every so often Lacey had to quickly scan for the truck. She couldn't do it too often, she had to keep the car in one piece. When they caught up to the truck, she grabbed a pistol and began firing at the tires and ducking as the passenger fired back. They were somewhat protected by the bulletproof glass of the millitary car. The car eventually slowed down to a screeching halt. Lacey grabbed a stunner and ran out of the car, firing on the driver and passenger who tried to escape. She walked up to them and grabbed his keys. She walked to the back of the truck to find Lana bound. Lacey unbound Lana only to find her with such a shocked expression on her face.
