it appears watching Star Trek I-IX in rapid succession was a bad idea.

I see the actual characters as well, no squares for me. ;o Other than knowing it was Japanese, I had no idea about what it said.

Well, we don't always need an exact idea about everything. Not knowing can be nice sometimes.
But not as nice as not experiencing sometimes can be.

I would rather know or have a very precise idea. Not knowing something can often lead to being naive.

Consider the things you know vs the things you do not know. I'd rather not feel naive for every piece of knowledge I do /not/ have >_>;
