"I have always been called Devlin." *He grunted at the mention of humans. The fleshy meat bags had done nothing positive for him, other then that one curvey farmer one that occassionally gave him potatoes. ...He loved potatoes. His eyes narrowed at Desmond* "You let the humans name you?"

Desmond chuckled. "Well....Yes, I did. I have nothing against humans, I had no name and the man who gave this one happens to be a very nice person, who happens to know how to make a very good stew." He stuck his tongue out. "Besides, humans can think of the most interesting names."

*He rolled his eyes, obviously not liking the idea of humans. He then tilted his head to the side, eyeballing him a little* "....There was no gargoyle to name you, Desmond?" He asked, his tail flicking back and forth slowly.

"The clan used to call me a rascal all the time, but that wasn't my name. I was a parentless hatcling, and naming gargoyles is a new tradition, the clan decided that the best course was to let me name myself once I was capable." His head tilted slightly. "I never did. Then a human, quiet tired of calling 'gargoyle' just started calling Desmond. I liked it, I saw no reason no to keep it."

"That seems..." He realized he was on his way to being rude. "....Stupid." Eh, he was headed there anyway, might as well stay on course. He put his hands on his hips, looking down at the other gargoyle, eyeballing him up and down "What if the human had decided to call you Dog?"

"No, you are just thick-headed." Desmond folded his arms. "I said I liked the named he choose, that's why I kept it. Had he named me 'dog' I would had 'suggested' him to stop. I think you are the one who needs to clean his ears tonight."

"Eh, I'm allowed my opinion, ain't I?" He replied with a bit of snark. He turned, and started to walk, away from the woods, but he glanced behind as if to say 'are you coming?'. He seemed to be heading towards a farm of some sort.

The red gargoyle just rolled his eyes but when he saw the other glance back, he gave a sharp nod and follow after him. He gave him a curious look, wondering why they were heading in this direction.

Devlin glanced around, before he easily hopped a fence, scaring a couple of sheep and some chickens. He walked over to a rather large garden for such a small house, and dug up a couple of carrots with his clawed hand. He moved over to a water bucket, and washed off the carrots, before he held one out for Desmond "I dislike many humans, but this one that lives here, is alright, I guess."

Taking the carrot, he gave a curious glance at the place as he nibbled on the vegetable. Crouching down, he petted the head of a sheep brave enough to come closer. "Well, I suppose that's good. At least you know that not all humans are bad."

Devlin looked over at the small stone house, before he looked back at the other "Most are. Most are little fleshy windbags who can't be quiet." He hated useless noise, so aggrevating on the brain. His tail flicking back and forth, and he glanced down at a couple of rabbits that were huddled at his feet, looking up at his carrot. ...Why did small animals huddle at his feet?

The gargoyle gave him an strange look as he fed some of his vegetable to the sheep. His blue eyes looked down to the rabbits and he gave a soft chuckle, shaking his head. The sheep 'baah' besides him, nuzzling up her nose under his fingers, wondering if there was more. "Such words, friend, such words will make us no different from them."

Devlin's eyes slid over to the red goyle standing near him. Was he honestly comparing him to a little human? That made his blood boil. How DARE this little goyle say such a thing! His wings twitched, and he would have made a move towards Desmond, but the rabbits huddled more on his feet, seeking the warmth. He twitched, and instead, glowered at Desmond.

Desmond looked up with a soft sigh, he knew he pushed many towards the edge. Whether when he was just being flirtatious, childish or dead serious, as he was now. "Do not look at me in such way, Devlin. You bare a name like one, you insult them out of blind judgment. Humans fear what they don't understand, by reacting so negatively to them we are just confirming their fears."

"I think it's time I got the hell out of here." He wiggled his toes, trying to encourage the rabbits to get off of him, before he took a step back away from them, and he mvoed towards the barn. He was rather done with this goyle, since he was grating all over his last nerve.
