Colton chuckled and patted his dauther's shoulder. "I'm sure that you girls will have fun. Maybe you can get Eli some nice hair accessories. But, you're going to need help fixing up Zaney, there," he joked. To Mena, he only winked. "Maaaaan, I'm starving. When's the food getting here?"
Zane pouted a little to his younger sister and sighed, facing the huntress sister. "I... Uhm, we were just talking about stuff for the wedding." Well, that could be true; Zane could put on a "performance" but he doubted his mother would appreciate that at her wedding, especially a shared wedding. "You know, groomsmen stuff. Nothing you have to worry about, Noe."

"Yeah, groomsmen stuff~" Eli echoed. He paused, then added thoughtfully, "Are we supposed to be helping out with a bachelor party? I'm pretty sure groomsmen are supposed to throw a bachelor party and the bridesmaid throw the bachelorette party..."
Mena was amused that it was her mahou shounen son that brought up the subject, though she honestly hadn't thought about it at all. "Huh. Maybe I should tell Lilith she's supposed to be planning something..." She was sort of intrigued by the idea of the bridesmaids throwing a bachelorette party...though, come to think of it, she probably shouldn't let Maxwell plan something on Colton's behalf. That would probably end badly.

From the look on the puppy hyte's face, he imagined something far worse than simply 'ending badly'. Needles stuck in his body to suck out all the vital organs, Maxwell sharpening his claws to make the incision along the dotted line marked across his forehead, Maxx simply standing back and taking notes on all of it. "Erm, uhm... How about we leave the bachelor party planning to Eli and Zane? A nice evening out to bowling or something, mayhaps?" Anything that didn't involve needles in his arm.
Zane breathed a sigh of relief at Eli's cover. He'd have to bring it up to his father and mother eventually, but now was not the time to be thinking about adult dancing lessons, but rather how to stop adult dancers (who would probably be hired by Maxwell) from interrupting their to-be bachelor party. "Bowling would be fun. Or maybe laser tag!"

"I agree," Mena said, thinking along the same lines as Colton. "Besides, if those two plan it..." She shrugged and smiled; leaving unsaid that she didn't trust Maxwell or Maxx to bring strippers or something into it and that would definitely make her upset.
"Bowling sounds good~" Eli said excitedly. "If it was laser tag, I'd beat everyone else too badly~"
Mena raised an eyebrow at her son's easy pronouncement. "Oh?"
"I wouldn't try to cheat, but since I can bend light to create sparklies around me..." Eli said apologetically, "I'd probably do it automatically out of self defense and no one would ever be able to tag me."

Noe arched a brow at her brother's sparkly speech. "You praise yourself far too much little kuppy. Don't under estimate others just cause you can bend light. I know how to blend in shadows and light is the source of all shadows." She smirked leaning back in the seat waiting for their food. "We should play laser tag some time it sounds like fun and a perfect source to test my skills." Quite satisified with this she looked to her mother with a side glance akin to that of a puppy. "Bachelorette party? Mama aren't you suppose to have some strange man dancing on a table in front of you for that?" She asked eying Zane suspiciously but saying nothing as she proceeded.
"I'm sure there are places where you can hire a half naked man to pop out of a giant cake too. Isn't that right Zane?" Of course she was trying to tease him in the same breath as agitating their mother but that was all part of her fun with the family. Not every day she could actually play with everyone and learn about their quirks in one sitting. Though thankfully their food did arrive to cut through the teasing just a bit. "Mmm it looks good."

"I'm older than you," Eli reminded her, with a smirk of his own. "We'll try it sometime, just the two of us."
Mena coughed. "Uh, I'm sure Lilith wouldn't do any such thing...I'm sure a girls' beautician run and sleepover's probably more what would happen..." After all, Lilith was Colt's best friend too, so she wouldn't do something like that...would she? This was the secretary bird who regularly made double entendre...

Noe glared and sat back pouting. "Age means nothing and technically we are the same age if nothing else. It's all about skill and I know we both have been trained in different aspects." She nods poking at her plat lightly.

Zane hid his face in his hands, whimpering. That had been a low blow by his sister. "I don't know what you're talking about," he said to the other kuppy's question of half-naked men. Not that he wanted to become one of said-half-naked men. When his dish arrived, he hurriedly occupied himself with eating. The kuppy didn't want to get involved in this anymore, but with the wedding of his parents and his friends' parents (Gyasi and Isoke) coming up, he had to think up a nifty gift to try and (1) appease his mother, (2) help out around HyTech a little, and (3) appease his mother.
Colton poked at his steak a little before cutting it into precise pieces and slathering the meat in steak sauce before chewing on the miniscule pieces. "How about some laid-back bachelor and bachelorette parties? Bowling and a spa trip? We'll let the kids handle that." Come to think of it, Colton had to book a honeymoon place for them. And he'd ask Gyasi and Isoke if they wanted to maybe go on a cruise with Mena and himself. It'd be nice to have friends along, but maybe privacy was wanted.

Noe glared at Zane then looked down at the table. "Well it would be a good idea if someone did help out with the arrangements for the party. Think about it, it would help to relieve some stress I'm sure. A bowling party with a stay at the spa, perfect for relieving a bit of stress before the event too. For both soon to be couples of course." Noe informed sitting back in her seat she poked at her food before cutting some of the meat from her plate and nibbling on it demurely. She frowned at Zane. "Well...want to help me set things up for mom, daddy and the others?"
