Awakening 11.14.09 Written by: Eftemie
He suddenly shivered, glancing around him. Where was he? The glow from his lantern caught his eyes, the faint light reaching out over everything around him.
Why did he have a lantern? Who was he? What was his name? Name?
A second quiver slid though him, causing a slight rattle. The soft glow cast a faint luminescence over the tombstones revealing dim carvings in the stones. An uneasy feeling dropped down over him. Moving closer, he studied the words in front of him. A "J" jumped out but the rest he could barely make out. The second portion drew his attention and he stared in confusion. "Ffff... valkon.... It did not quite sound right.
"Valkon." he repeated more strongly. "My name is Valkon."
A faint smile twitched on his face as he moved away into the darkness. It was as good a name as any he guessed. It would do for now.
A chill slid through him and he glanced around nervously. Everything seemed off somehow. It was nothing he knew for certain, just an odd feeling-sensation that he was to the left when he should be to the right. Dead instead of living. But there were no memories there. At least nothing substantial and even he was barely in existance.
Moving from the cemetery, Valkon glanced around him with each pace away. Only the woods could be seen and he wondered where he should go. Any direction looked the same, but the weird thing was he felt almost at home in the trees and darkness that surrounded him.
Finally he just went. Sooner or later he would find some answers. All he could do for now was look.

Movement 11.14.09 Written by:
He spotted the old man and watched him for the longest time. Each morning, he would go out, hoe in hand, to work on the same plot of land he had measured and marked off. The old human would spend his time removing the existing plants, hoeing the earth to soften it and then water it well.
It seemed a waste of time to Valkon but he wondered just how long the old guy could keep it up. It was something to do at least.
This particular morning was different. He had his hoe in hand, but he also carried several small sacks of something in his arms. Instead of his normal actions, the man used the hoe after setting down the sacks to make long rows the length of the bare plot of land. When he was finished, he stopped to drink some water, wiping his forehead. But instead of sitting down, he picked up one of the sacks, spilling something out into his hand.
Valkon watched in fascination, taking a closer look even though he knew the old fellow could not see him. What was he doing? And what were the small things in his hands? Then he knew. The old man had made a garden and was even now carefully planting tiny seeds in it.
The first several rows he planted, glancing upwards to see the sun directly overhead. A frown crossed the humans face, causing Valkon to tilt his head in curiosity as the man moved to the side, picking up one of the sacks. Inside was a sandwich and some cheese.
He sighed as he chewed the first bite. The crust was slightly stale, but the meat and cheese were good. Pulling the crust from the edge, he tossed it out to the small birds nearby who flocked greedily for it. Perhaps they'd leave his seeds along if he fed them.
There was little idleness in him and he did not sit very long. Instead, he was finishing off the water and moved towards the garden once more. He talked to himself or so Valkon thought as he listened. But an understanding crossed his mind that the old man was talking to the seeds he was planting as well as the earth they were now sitting on. Carefully on his hands and knees he covered the tiny specks hoping that each one grew and gave him their bounty.
As the afternoon fell into dusk, Valkon watched as the old man finally moved towards the house a short distance away. With a sudden smirk, Valkon moved towards the first row in the garden. Puffs of dirt flipped up into the air as he found the seeds and began tossing them aside. One smacked the old man on the arm and he stopped, startled at the activity.
Blinking in surprise, he drew his breath in sharply. Had he done something wrong that his seeds were being rejected? Had he not worked hard enough to deserve what the garden would give him?
With a frown on his face, he opened his mouth. "Please stop. I'll work harder tomorrow. You will see. I will."
Something in the old man's voice caused Valkon to hesitate. Valkon stared at the old man, a scowl on his expression. He moved aside tossing the seeds down. Then he simply gazed at the old fellow.
Sighing in relief, the old man turned murmurring, "Thank you." as he moved to the house. He would get up earlier tomorrow.
Valkon merely watched him silently. What was he doing? What should he do? Did it matter? The ghostling was suddenly confused. What was he doing?

All In A Day's Work 04.27.10 Written by:
When the old man began the next morning, he worked even harder than he had the day before. By noon he was hot, sweaty, and aching, but he continued diligently working on the garden.
As the afternoon rolled around, the sun grew even hotter. It was turning out to be a scorcher of a day. The old fellow stumbled a time or two barely stopping for water as he tried to get more done than the previous day.
Valkon watched him in confusion. When he stumbled, the ghostling frowned visibly wondering why the old man was acting in such a way. Was it because of his prank the day before? He had only been having fun.
But as the day wore on, a bit of guilt slipped through the ghostling's thoughts. The old man was having a hard time breathing as well as keeping up the pace he had set for himself. The more Valkon watched him, the worse he felt. Finally, he took the bag of seeds.
When the bag took to the air, the old man stared in confusion. Had he not been working hard enough? Had he not been doing what he was supposed to? Why was this spirit so angry at him?
"Please give them back." he said softly falling to his knees in the middle of the row he was trying to plant. There were three more rows dug and waiting for the seeds to be dropped in and covered.
Leaning down, Valkon wrote in the soil before the old man. < REST. > Then he moved to the side only to begin dropping the seeds in as the old man had been.
The man stared down at the word in front of him. "Rest..? I have so much to... do..." His voice trailed off when he saw the seeds being dropped one by one exactly as he had been doing. Then after a few feet, the dirt pushed inwards covering them just as he had been doing.
Blinking in surprise, he got slowly to his feet. Bowing to where he thought Valkon was, he watched silently for a moment. Then he moved over to the side to rest as he watched the ghostling continue his work.
Perhaps it had only been a test for him the day before. Perhaps this ghost had planned to help him all along. Either way, he was suddenly happy that it was there and helping him.

Half Done 04.27.10 Written by:
The garden was half done when Valkon quit for the day. The old man breathed easier now that the spirit was helping him instead of causing trouble. After Valkon finished the three rows while the old man rested, the fellow had gotten to his feet and dug out three more. Changing the seeds to something else, he began planting them.
Valkon quickly took the bag from him and began planting them as indicated. He knew the old man was having problems when he sat down again after a few moments. It was a very hot day and finally he went to get a cup of water for him. Sitting it carefully down beside him, the ghostling went back to what he was doing.
When it got to the point he could barely see, the old man said softly, "You can stop. I cannot see anymore and I am going in to supper. You are welcome in my house." His words stated that he would accept Valkon's presence inside even if the ghostling preferred not to enter.
Valkon stared for a moment as the old man took the bag of seeds from his invisible hand. It surprised him and he simply remained where he was. Then as the old man turned towards the building not far away, curiosity slid over him.
What was the old man's home like? He seemed rather poor. Poor? Why did he know that word? For a moment he hesitated, then moving slowly towards the open door, he slipped inside, shutting it behind him.
It was small, one large room with a fireplace and cooking area. A comfortable chair beside for relaxing or reading, and a table and chair for meals. A few pots hung on the walls and there were a number of cabinets that seemed to hold the man's food supplies.
An open door just beyond caught his attention and he moved towards it. The door creaked slightly as he inspected the bedroom. It was small. Just a bed, a chest, and a table with a candle in the center. Attached to one wall were several pegs with clothes hanging from them.
Valkon nodded inwardly. It was as he had suspected. The man was indeed poor and his dwelling though well taken care of revealed such in not only its furnishings, but its entire size. But as the ghostling watched him, he knew the old man seemed happy enough. He was humming as he fixed something to eat.
Taking a step towards him, Valkon frowned when something suddenly caught him. He tried to move but it held him tightly. Then he disappeared.

Within The Dark 01.31.09
Cinderfae Loa didn't really awaken when the world started to turn, not until the physical plane she was on dropped out from under her. The little ghostling's eyes opened wide as her body felt lurched in every direction at once. Laying on her back for a long moment she sucked in breath, flipping over as the feeling of being sick over took her. There wasn't anything for her to actually throw up as she wasn't among the living but she stayed huddled on the ground a moment before slowly she uncurled from the fetal position she had taken. Looking over the area Loa shifted her gaze slightly to watch the landscape.
At first it appeared as if her vision was blurry but as she adjusted to the plane it wasn't that the world was blurry but rather that it was covered in shadow. Not normal shadows but ones that seemed to live, thin tendrils of darkness came up from the ground and off of things in the distance. She couldn't make out what they were but Loa was guessing that whatever they were they were what was used as landscape for this place. Out of the corner of her vision she could almost make out the material world...the one she knew, close but out of reach.
Growling slightly in annoyance Loa looked around tapping her fingers over one of the skulls on her belt. She was guessing this was some sort of shadow prison or something but how she got here was a mystery; suspicion immediately fell to the old woman from the estate. Deciding she'd deal with whoever it was, she decided first she needed to find a way out. With a sigh she started walking through the seemingly endless space, looking for some clue or perhaps another that could tell her something of her situation. Eftemie He had always been a light sleeper and today was no exception. When the world twisted and turned, so too did he. His eyes flashed open in some irritation and he shivered lightly. It was not exactly cold for he was cold all the time and actually liked splaying a frosty design across a window pane. He was suddenly unhappy as he glanced around himself.
A faint snarl slipped free as he began to drift around the immediate area, trying to sort out what had occurred. He had planned several tricks that day as well as to help an old man with his planting. What was he supposed to do now? This was not at all what should be happening and it irritated him enough that he was going to be in a bad mood for awhile to come.
Moving forwards he suddenly stopped when he saw something moving in the darkness. Everything seemed somehow just out of his reach and he wondered if this being was too. Maybe they knew what happened and how to get out of this situation. This was not where he was meant to be. Not at all and he was getting angrier second by second at the thought that he might be stuck here. If he did get stuck here, there would be those that would pay for it. One way or another he would find them and get them back.
When he got close enough to them, Valkon growled out demandingly, "Hey you! What's going on here? Why is the world turned upside down?" sebasraos The change in the world altered everything, and that caused her to awake from her long slumber, she looked calmed and quiet, she had rested for so long, more than anyone can tell. She belonged to an ancient race, probably vanished by now... She looked around with her big red eyes only to see darkness, a darkness that wasn't there when she fell asleep... she heard some murmurs in the distance, but her half-souls started to murmur at her, some in fear, some in happiness, some in dull tone... and then she spoke softly to herself in a bored tone with a voice that sounded like a choir: "Great... in a space where there's no room... in an structure that was never built... stands the one that should'n exist..." And finally, a enigmatic smile appeared on her face. Cinderfae Loa saw the wispling's lantern sometime before he came into view. She wondered if he might inhabit this place and have some information, but his question quickly took her own from her lips.
Frowning darkly she murmured, "seems I'm not the only one."
Another voice came from somewhere near a small rise, blinking Loa looked toward it. "Snips?" It seemed there were more then she had thought in the area.
"I don't know how we got here...and I'm guessing you don't know," she gestured slightly toward Volkan, "I think I hear something..." frowning Loa looked around there seemed to be voices in the wind, another must have found their way there as well.
((Image of Loa for those that aren't familiar with her. Eftemie ((Valkon is the only one of mine involved. I have a kitsuling and another in process that will not be in this. He's in my sig.)) "Nope. I don't know. But it really ticks me off." he growled in irritation. "I had things to do. Tricks to play and some old man to help plant seeds. If I felt like it." He sulked miserably for a long moment, then said, "I'm Valkon. I say we figure out a way out and the blast the idiot who did this to us. Should have at least warned us that they were moving the entire world. Or moving us. Bah! Either way it sucks."
He turned to watch her, but then sighed and followed her. If nothing else, it was company until they got out of here. "I'm guessing you aren't in charge, so who is? Maybe if we figure that out we can get their help to get out of here. I don't imagine they are too happy about this topsy turvy stuffs anymore than we are." sebasraos ((Oh OK, so we'll continue here???, at least just to know each other on our side, and because the main shop is full of light-sided ghostlings)) The Phantom noticed some noise that came from somewhere, she tried to focus her mind to discover from where it came, but it was useless, her mind was itself full with voices and screams of her half-souls, a noice that only she could hear deep in her mind. But then, she heard a growl coming from somewhere deep into the big darkness and she walked towards the sound trying to find at least someone who could explain to her what was happening. "who the heck put us here?" she spoke to herself "we shouldn't be here.. then she rolled her eyes and continued with the smile showing again on her face But maybe we can do something.... Cinderfae ((Introductions would be good, and this way at least some of the dark sided ones are together so they can be gathered for whatever is to come next. smile Loa rolled her eyes slightly at Valkon moving toward where she had heard the strange voices coming from, "I'd say they likely aren't an idiot since they trapped us here. Which makes them more of an adversary; I just wish I knew who it was." Loa frowned somewhat to herself, she still wondered if perhaps the old voodoo woman had something to do with this - perhaps the wisp had angered her as well. "I'm not sure what you mean by in charge," Loa sniffed slightly, "but no one is in charge of me."
"You didn't by chance make an old woman angry did y-" Loa cut off as the dark and crimson Ghostling came into view. She considered again if they belonged to wherever they were but had a feeling that she was likely lost, like they were.
"...how many are here I wonder." There was a bit of grumbling in her voice as she spoke. "Hey you!" She waved toward the ghostling they were coming up on as she called.Eftemie ((Yeah, we really can't do much else, but they can try to figure out what is going on even though they won't know until later.)) "Not hard to trap someone who is sleeping." Valkon mumbled angrily. He was upset that this had been done. His entire day had been interrupted and he was surely not going to thank whomever did this for it. He had a right to be irritated by the actions of someone he did not know. And he was not quite sure he could trust this person in front of him either. He did not no know her. The circumstances were the only reason he was even following her. If anything was going to happen to get them out this place, it was going to be all of them together.
"What old woman? I was supposed to help some old man today and... well nevermind abou.." he stopped as the other ghostling appeared. Watching for an instant, he decided that the crimson patterning was rather nice. Glancing down at himself, he wondered briefly what he would look like. His lantern was a bright violet and he liked the color, but parts of him were dark too. Maybe he'd be just as interesting when he grew more. He could hope.
"Hard telling. You were the first I saw, but then I just woke up too. Maybe some are still asleep yet." He shrugged slightly as he moved up beside her. Some creepy crawlie had done this to them and he wanted to know who. And more importantly, why. He'd not really been good or bad so he doubted it was that. But if noone had done it, then what had caused it? And how could he use it? A faint grin smirked across his features. He'd have to keep his eyes open.
sebasraos She finally found some other ghostlings, and they weren't as far as she expected and even one of them waved at her... she just stopped and looked at her, she was colorful and vodoo-like and beside her was a young lantern. She waved back and her red aura glowed softly with her half-souls floating around her, some in curiosity, some in fear, and some others just hissed in anger while she spoke in her voice that sounded like a choir. "We are Svorak, what's this place and who are you?"Cinderfae Loa paused a moment listening to the voices, letting the meaning of what the legion said settled after a moment. "Hrm, your lost here too then. Or banished," she glanced over at the landscape it defininitly seemed more like a place you would banish someone too. "Not sure where here is, I was sleeping and got pulled in...or something."
Svorak, she ran the name over in her mind for memory and then glanced to Volkan. She hadn't told the wispling what to call her yet, well might as well tell them both at the same time. "And I'm called Loa, this is Volkan," she gestured beside her as she spoke a small part of her mind pleased that the wisp would likely be annoyed that she took the liberty.
"Maybe being here has to do with where we were before..." Loa paused, she realized she didn't really know what to call the forest where she stayed, "where were you two? I live in a forest not far from an estate some living have." Eftemie He watched Loa a moment a bit of annoyance slipping through. "Lost is a good word." He grumbled, turning around to look at the things around them. "I have a camp and live on the edge of the forest but it's close to the town. More to play pranks on."
"I don't see much that looks familiar. I wonder where we are. I was asleep too. Someone had to have done this, didn't they? I mean the world seemed alright otherwise." He was not sure at all what they needed to do. And the others seemed older than he was. Maybe they would figure it out.
He could just tag along until something more happened or someone else found them. What else was there to do? x___Doctor Ruri Lestat blinked once. Then twice. What was this beyond strange feeling? Just when he'd come to terms with both being dead, which he STILL thought was highly unlikely for a vampire of his caliber, the universe had changed again. He'd never been one to beleive in powers from above, but he assumed if there were any they were either testing him once more to see what the 'Brat Prince' would do again to find his way out of this one, or they were punishing him for something. David had warned him of something similar to this, this 'Karma' concept. Personally, he thought it was just another part of his Savage Garden.
Either way, he'd been walking along....or was it floating now.....and the new world he'd found himself in had changed. It had felt very much like being squeezed through a very small, very uncomfortable lead pipe with no air in it until you came out the other side. Not that he needed air. This was technically his third time living. Or second time dying, or so he'd been so graciously informed. Ah, if only he had Louis or David at a time like this to make him calm down and rationalize things. Of course, he was still a little too vain and impulsive to CARE if he was reckless, but their company would've helped some. Anyone's company really, would help. This place was so strange, and the little whisp that had once been the great Vampire Lestat de Lioncourt wasn't very happy about it. Change wasn't a bad thing, in any case, but so many changes to his reality at once were a little disturbing. More than a little, but he didn't want to admit to fear in the faces of those he didn't love. Those who were not vampire like himself. Was he still a vampire? These were all still the questions that he carried on from his past life. Maybe they were just a result of talking too much theology with his dear Nikki back in Paris....but that was so long ago, how could any of that apply here? That talk was of God and devils, and Good and Righteousness. We mustn't forget the art either. Never should the art and beauty of the times be cast asunder by time and forgotten.
He looked down at his little....was it a lamp? He still wasn't so sure. It LOOKED like a little orb of light, like the first street lamps that had fascinated Luis and Claudia so. But no, this was different. His answers hadn't been given to him quite yet, but he supposed in time they would be. He'd either find them himself, or someone would give them to him for a price. Looking around, he finally spotted a small group of other things like him. Whatever he was now. Ah well, might as well see if they were friendly or not, or at the very least knew anything about their situation. If not, well, he could always go exploring. Diving headfirst into any problem with that burning desire to see what happened in the end, just for the sake of seeing it. Floating over to them, he hovered and looked between them all.
"I don't suppose any of you know why we're here then? I barely got here and I was whisked away from one new reality to another.....should we be doing something important, or is this another one of those theological tasks that you hear about from scripture that smites and tests the wicked?" he questioned nonchalantly, as per usual for him. Much like the others, who seemed to be waking up, he somehow sensed this was much too early for his usual nocturnal schedule.
Even as this new creature, he kept to his vampiric schedule. Minus the hunting and all the grand adventures he seemed to have normally, though he was suspecting this would be his first grand adventure here in this new life. He still wished he had the mentoring advice of Marius or David with him though, or perhaps the companionship of Louis or Armand. Ah well, these new individuals would have to do. Not his usual group, but then none of them seemed to know or care that he was supposedly dead. {Lestat de Lioncourt for those of you who don't know him} Cinderfae Loa grumbled at the lack of answers given and sighed, "alright so...no one knows what is going o-" grumbling the brightly colored ghostling paused as Lestat wandered into the middle of the group.
"And we have another...that is lost. We don't know where we are," Loa watched the new wisp a moment, "I'm Loa, and there hasn't been anything forthcoming as of yet."
Loa paused, more she just stopped in place. Something was coming out of the darkness narrowing her eyes, she ended up blinking widely at the Oversoul that appeared.Azmodeus Bloodmyth Hello there...don't be startled by my sudden appearance, I have simply come to give you this.. Eclipse*grins mischeviously, handing over a sealed letter* A little formality, I am Eclipse..Lord Azmodeus' messenger, and he requests you immediate appearance within his temple. In there you will find the directions to go there..oh...and it's in your best interest's to get there soon. *grins again, fading into the darkness with a small wave* ((I say we move to the temple smile , guessing everyone got a summoning message. The Temple 01.31.09
The Temple Meeting Azmodeus and the others banished to the darkness for the first time. This thread is a place where various things happen. The Temple is for various things so the interaction there may seem odd. Think of it as a room to be visited and the players change depending on the circumstances. Sometimes you will find several there. Other times you may only find one. And yet a third time you visit you find only silence splaying across the room.

Valkon's Library 02.12.09
Valkon had gone to an upper floor after watching Loa closely. She was one who would figure out things. At least temporarily. He still was not sure he liked her, but then he was unsure if he liked anyone. But as he approached a room, he peeked in. After the third try he found two rooms to his taste. The first room was large containing a table that looked as if meant for meetings and such. Shelves with leather bound books and tied scrolls were scattered haphazardly still- not just on the furniture but also on the floor. The word Library came to him from somewhere and he thought that perhaps he remembered that there were several of these type rooms in a place this large. If her book was so important to her, then these would suit him and he would find the information he needed.
There were several large window shaped into the side with heavy drapes over them as if to prevent the light from getting in once. Now it was unnecessary and after deciding this room was his, he moved into the little side room.
Things were piled high there against one wall, fabrics, books, and more. Several trunks looked as if tossed to the side as some rushed away. Some were still shut as if forgotten and he moved towards them for a closer inspection. The metal bindings on them looked rusted shut, but could be opened later with a little force. The bed had curtains draped around it as if to shelter the person who had once been there and he decided immediately that he liked it. One large window in the side of the wall was draped heavily but also shuttered, though a bit was broken and hanging askew. A small table with a cracked water pitcher on it and a basin beside.
The wardrobe even had clothing still in it and then he noticed that it had more than that. There was a skull inside. No bones of the former owner. Just the skull and he studied it a moment before moving back to the door of the first room. This area was definitely his and he intended to claim it before someone else did.
On the outside of the door, he managed to crudely mark his name Valkon with some pen-type piece of metal. But then he hesitated, shaping the marking of Azmodeus also. Nodding to himself, he moved into his room. He was well-satisfied with what he had found. Valkon rummaged around in the smaller of his two rooms. Several things came to his attention. The bed was not soft and even as a ghost he wanted a soft bed. Pulling some old blankets from the wardrobe, he covered the top of the mattress and then began to bounce in the center. Dust burst into the air from his movements and he laughed, thinking the bed was jus right for him now.
As he turned away he noticed a gleam of something white. Moving closer, he tried to see what it was. Pulling the old shirt from it, Vlakon frowned as the eyeless sockets stared up at him as if accusing him of the bad condition the skull found itself in. He blinked in surprise an odd feeling of belonging slipping down over him. This skull belonged to him and he picked it up reverently. It was not the feeling that it was in his possession so much as it was HIS skull. His very own skull.
Placing it on the pillow on the bed, he sat down on his lantern to stare at it thoughtfully for several long moments. "How did you get here?" he wondered aloud as if the bone would reply. All the teeth were there and so was the jawbone and if it could have spoken it would have in that instant he had asked a question of it. Instead it stared at him silently. Angrily and he frowned, feeling again the betrayed feeling he had before.
This should have been properly buried. He had been, but it was not where he was certain he had laid interred. For now it would remain where it was. He had no objection to sleeping with his own bones, but he would still like to know how it got there.
And where were the rest of his bones? Were they scattered here also? And if so, where were they?
Valkon suddenly had a purpose and decided that he would start as soon as he could. If his other bones were here, then he would find them. Maybe the others needed theirs also. Whatever bones he found he would study and decide what they belonged to. His own would be brought in here, but the rest, would have to be put together.
Moving towards the other room, Valkon glanced backwards at his skull. It was almost as if it grinned in approval of what he planned to do and the whispling laughed again. Turning towards the books and table, Valkon stopped suddenly. His table could be used for the bones to lay them all out so he would know what pieces he needed. But first he needed some way to identify them.
A book would help. Riffling through the first bookcase, he growled when none of the books were what he was looking for. Moving on to the second case, he grinned suddenly when he pulled out a book of anatomy. The book beside it was also. One was on humans and the other was on animals.
"These will work," he grinned moving to the center of the table to read. All he had to do was find some other bones now.

Among The Many Halls WIP
GunSniper Chronos had finally become bored of his room and set out with scythe in hand to scope the rest of the rooms. It would seem as though a lot of the other Ghostlings had found rooms of their own. Many doors now had markings on them to show that they were now taken and guarded by the specter that now occupied them. How amusing.
The halls seemed endless, and so did the rows of deceased bodies in just about every nook and cranny in this castle. He would -have- to find the name of the decorator. Maybe it was Azmodeous himself. Such taste... Chronos mused as he picked up a skull and balanced it in the top of the scythe.
After an hour of wondering he came to the library door, marked and claimed. A book worm ghost perhaps? Chronos inspected the door's markings closely. "Valkon"... ? He shrugged and set the balanced skull near the door before moving down the hall again. He'd have to try and view the library later... Eftemie Valkon had left his room some time ago. After glancing through the anatomy books, he left them lying on the table. Now it was time to find some bones. He would need something to carry them in and after several minutes of searching, he found a small pouch in the closet under some old hats. It would work for now he supposed for the small bones. The bigger ones he'd just have to carry.
Moving down the hallway and out the door, he found a courtyard in the darkness around him. His lantern lit the area enough that he could see the crumbling leaves on the ground, the dry plants and crumbling rocks scattered around. A few feathers lay mixed in the lump of dirt from an overturned flowerpot.
Picking up one of the feathers, he studied it for a moment. It was black though turning it in the scant light he could just make out a vague violet hue here and there, depending upon the way he turned it.
Bones was what he was looking for. Not feathers, though he tucked them into the pouch he carried. Maybe he could use them for something or even trade them to someone else for a bone or two. He would figure it out at some point. GunSniper It wasn't long before Chronos stumbled upon the dark court yard, drawn by the ball of light near the far end. He very quietly made his way around the shadows to inspect this floating lantern. If instincts and memory served him right it was one of those puff balls he had seen earlier at the temple.
"Having a scavenger hunt are we?" Chronos inquired with a grin on his face. "or perhaps dark arts and crafts?"
He leaned on his scythe keeping a firm grip on the pole. The crimson eyes of the golden snake shone brightly in the darkness. Cutting through it like warm butter. It was as if they were glaring at anything that moved. Chronos' tail swayed slowly behind him as he waited for an answer. He was overall amused by the appearance of the lantern and ghost caring it. More so the hat full of bones and feathers. Eftemie Valkon glanced over at the sound of a voice. He simply stared for a moment. "I might find a way to make her pay, so it's worth it. Not entirely sure what I will use the feathers for but the bones were once alive and I might be able to figure out what they were." He shrugged slightly. "It could help. I found one of the bird skulls and its feet, but not the rest of the bones yet. I think it's from one of them."
He pointed upwards at the crows that seemed to frequent the entire area. Their outlines just barely seen though their wings could be heard clearly as were their 'caws'. "If they are here and they are there, then maybe there's something we can figure out for them to do for us on both sides. Crows are what I think they are. They are thieves and steal things, so maybe I can find something for them to steal for me."
For another long moment, he watched Chronos closely. "My name is Valkon. I saw you before. Did you make your scythe? It's interesting. Snake... hmm..." He studied the weapon thoughtfully, not at all bothered by its expression. "I might have to look for snake bones too." GunSniper Chronos' grin only widened at his words for revenge. This was indeed a good craft to be doing. Especially at a time like this. "I see." He looked up to where the puff ball had pointed. With a laugh he chucked his scythe upward toward the birds. As soon as it left his gloves it became a rock once again. Moments later there came a thump, caw, than a lump of crow on the ground. The other crows cawed than settled again. Funny how a bunch is called a murder...
"Yes, I make many of them." He plucked a feather from the freshly killed bird and created another scythe with the black feather by rubbing his thumb and forefingers over the feather.
"But tell me, what do you plan to do once you have all these bones and feathers? Seems such a waist to just hold onto them..." He leaned on his scythe again and waited a response. "Can you make them talk to you?" Cinderfae She headed out from the study she had come across earlier, it seemed that the place had stood quiet for sometime until she came across it which suited her perfectly. The more out of the way the likely it was others would not disturb her. She noted that the wispling she had first met in this place was nearby, he seemed useful so it was good to know he was a neighbor. It seemed quiet now, the one that called himself Lord and even a God had dismissed everyone to settled as they pleased, however she was not one to sit idly. Her eyes had been drawn to the dark shapes that spiraled through the sky outside and now that is where she was heading.
She had plans before, plans of things she should do and how to protect herself from the old woman at the estate. The woman was gone at least for now, but what was likely part of half memories were still with her. A way to set her power to focus, if she could find some bones they could help her. Glancing out a window nearby her eyes followed the flying shapes, if there weren't any readily available she'd have to kill one and be sure to use all of the dead bird so it didn't go to waste. No sense is starting off with bad juju.
After a few moments she found her way outside, she had planned to move outward from the castle more but paused seeing Valkon's light. She then shifted her gaze upon Chronos, it seemed she wasn't the only one that didn't like to sit idle. Fading some she drifted along in a mostly incorporeal state attempting to move up beside Valkon to get a look into his makeshift bag.
"What are you gathering there?" She slowly materialized as she questioned the two. Eftemie Valkon glanced up as the bird fell at their feet. "Interesting. And I'm not sure about the feathers, but the bones I need. I need to put them all together as they would have been. And no I can't exactly talk to them. I... it's just a feeling that I have that I need to know how they move and their bones work." He shrugged. "I'm just not sure yet. But I will figure it out."
He glanced over at Loa as she moved closer. Holding his hat tighter, he frowned when she tried to see. Pushy was the way he would have described her. "Not yours, but feathers and bones. I need the bones for the skeletons I'm working on. I need to find the rest of my bones too. And some of these might be them."
He glanced over at Chronos a moment and then at Loa. Briefly he wondered if he should tell them about finding his own skull. It wasn't buried as it should have been. Valkon was just unsure, but he went ahead and began. "I found something odd today too. I found my skull. It was buried but now it's here. Why would my bones be here? But I only found the skull so I'm looking for the rest. Not sure why I need them, but I think I do."
GunSniper "Make something with them, crow feathers make the most unique things aside real flesh and blood." He picked the crow up by the leg and looked it over. Such a weird state to be in. Would he have a Ghost too?
He dropped the bird again as he watched the interaction between Loa and Valkon. He chuckled quietly to himself. They must have meet before. Loa's outfit of a skull belt and mask capped his amusement for the night. This would be a task she would have fun with by the looks of it.
"Oh, the quest to find yourself?" Chronos mused. "You should be so lucky they didn't burn your bones to ash and feed you to the foxes... Else you would never find them all." Cinderfae It seemed others had decided to find use for the bones, the feathers would be useful as well. "Don't worry I won't steal your bones and feathers..." Loa grinned in a way that was far from reassuring, "if I was going to steal I'd find something much more interesting then that."
Listening to Valkon's explanation Loa tilted her head slightly, "an architect, you need to know how it works to build it." Something almost like a smile came to her face, "or a mechanic." She shrugged slightly drifting back as she did to give Valkon a bit of space.
Crooking her brow Loa listened to Valkon as he related his story, "your skull?" She frowned darkly in thought, "our remains, I'm guessing they were banished here." Glancing toward Chronos at his remark she ammended, "or perhaps only the remains of those that would be attached to them. If that is so...what is you now may have that attachment." Loa didn't add that she was almost certain she would have such a weakness, "we should find the remains, so they can be set right once we are able to return." Though it sounded like a suggestion, the tone of it was driven. Eftemie "Yup, I think I would be even angrier if they had." He replied to Chronos. "Are you going to look for yours? Just in case you have some?"
"And, Loa, I just need the colors of the feathers. IF you want them after I'm done, you can have the feathers and the skeletons once they are completed, Loa." Valkon shrugged, but then nodded seriously. "I've just started looking for mine. I was sorting stuffs and found the skull there but so far none of the other bones. I just feel like I need to find them and keep them close."
He indicated the hat. "I didn't have anything else to put them in. I figured I could find a bigger bag later. And I have a big table in the library for laying things out. And a couple books on anatomy so I can figure out which bones are what and where." GunSniper "Of course not, If any of my bones did survive the bowls of the fire AND the foxes I'm sure it would not be worth -my- time." Chronos' tail twiched. He held nothing against the foxes. Maybe they were to blame for his after life appearance. He loved it after all. Loa had a good point, and he was in no way attached to his old self.
"But, if you gave me something of yourself-" He rubbed the pocket watch that dangled from his sash with his free hand. Though he was not one to go out of his way to aid someone, this was more of an amusing task. And another chance to make something else fun. Clocks, aside the scythe, were a specialty. "I can make you a clock to find your remaining bits..." He looked between Loa and Valkon. Cinderfae Loa eyed Valkon suspiciously a moment, she wondered how he knew she would be wanting the bones and feathers. Reaching down she fingered one of the small skulls on her belt and decided that it was obvious enough to assume she may need more. "I'd like that, though I still have work out here..." she glanced over the area, the pickings were light but she had a feeling that at least some of the plants here would work for dyes and paints.
Pausing she looked to Chronos, "you think you can make a clock that will point toward our bones? Like a compass?" Her brow quirked slightly as she inquired somewhat intrigued, her eyes flickered toward the watch in his hand and she pondered what the gears felt like with just a flex of power she could find out but he seemed the useful sort so she waited...she could explore the gears another time.
Grinning slightly Loa looked toward the hat that Valkon was carrying, "I'll help you carry your bones and see about finding something more suitable to carry them in. The rooms I am using, one of them was a laboratory of some sort. There are buckets in there but I think I saw a black bag as well." She wasn't just going to give Valkon the bag as she was sure the wisp could use it, for something that could be used readily it would cost she just was not sure what yet. She wondered what sort of price Chronos would ask for a clock.
"What would you need to build such a clock?" She tilted her head slightly her braided hair swaying with the movement. Eftemie Valkon stared suspiciously at Loa. He was quite certain she was up to no good. And she'd want something for the bag. "I'll carry them but I would like to look at the bag. Maybe we can work out a trade if I think I can use it."
Glancing over at Chronos, he tilted his head. "Only thing I have is the skull. Would you need all of it to make a watch or just a tooth? I guess it really doesn't matter which so long as it's mine and is with me." He smirked. "If the skull, I'd have a headless body or a body with a watch for the head." He found the thought amusing in some way. "I'll bring it to you later."
The crows overhead caught his attention again and he watched them circle overhead. Many disappeared into the distance while others settled down nearby listening to the three of them talking. He was beginning to feel spied upon, but a crow would be good for that. Briefly he wondered if there was a way to tame one enough that they would do his bidding. They were smart for birds and that would help. He might have to think on it. What would entice a crow to him? GunSniper Through the corner of his eye, Chronos caught Loa eying his own watch. It didn't work as a regular clock. It was always showing a random time, never in order either. When the clock was on a certain time the ash-like substance in the clock's face would turn golden. Chronos himself couldn't figure out what the purpose of this clock was. Even though he had created it.
"Your remains surely desire to be whole again, they will pull toward one another until they are gathered. It would require just three teeth. A whole skull would make the clock stronger, but you can never get your skull back." Chronos chuckled. He couldn't care less either way. "So I leave that up to you... "
"To build it I would need.." He taped his chin and looked about the yard. Something shiny, something like... armor from the soldiers? "I will need metals, rocks from a tomb stone, and something of yourselves. Yes, that should be it." His tail twitched behind him. "And I will provide the time."
"and so you two can worry about other tasks, until they are finished." He leaned back on his scythe and looked from one ghostling to the other. "What do you intend to do now?" It was quite interesting to see Valkon take such an interest in the crows. He had found his muse in this dark realm? Such fun creatures.
Cinderfae Loa considered a moment idly tugging at a braid as she did, "I'm not far from the library you took...the door is almost hidden. You should be able to find it however with a bit of searching." She shrugged slightly deciding that if Valkon wanted the bag he would be able to locate her.
"I have not found any of my own bones yet, though I have an idea of how to search," her tone darkened slightly, "if they are scattered I will see you about the clock once I have found the first pieces."
"Now I am intending to find bones," she looked toward the dead crow and floated over to it, "bones, certain herbs that can make dyes and paints, and feathers. So I can make what I'll need to find the first part of my bones and see if I can find any sight in this place." Loa frowned some as she eyed the bird and then as an afterthought glanced toward Chronos, "there is a grandfather clock within the room I have taken; could you make it run on it's own? I can make it work with a bit of power of my own but it's actual mechanics are long broken." Eftemie Valkon thought for a moment. "I'll bring you three teeth then. That way once my bones are properly returned to where they belong, if anyone moves them I will know since I'll just keep the watch with me."
He glanced over at Loa nodding. "I'll find it, Loa. And when I'm looking for bones I'll see about gathering things you need also. Then we can trade. I have books if either of you need to find something. Just don't take my anatomy books. I need them to restore the skeletons. I still don't know why yet, but I will figure it out."
A faint gleam caught his eye and he moved over to the wall of the courtyard. A crow stared at him from atop it, then jumped into the air. It was a brightly colored stone that had caught a bit of his lantern's glow. Picking it up, he studied it and then held it out to Chronos. It appeared to be a blue cut gem of some sort. Once polished and used in a necklace or something. Perhaps it would be useful to him in clockworkings. He was sure there were others about. GunSniper Chronos nodded to Valkon at his decision to relinquish the three teeth. "It will always work so long as your soul lives on..." He assured him.
"I will make your clock in any case. If your bones are still intact than I'm sure it will hold the purpose souly for your amusement. If they are scattered, than the ingredient can be added later... and the clock can be re-made." He tapped his scythe on the ground lightly after speaking.
When Valkon offered up the precious gem Chronos gladly took it and looked it over closely. His ears perked forward with interest. "Very nice, indeed. I will surely use this in your clock... " That color in particular was one of his favorites to see.
He than glanced back to Loa with a grin. "I can do that, but is there more you would like it to do perhaps?." He leaned on his scythe the other way. "view places, persons, somethings within its face? Or maybe a portal to another room? A simple clock can be so dull..." Cinderfae Loa quirked a brow at Valkon and glanced down at the crow, "I'll see what I can offer you in return. With the right items I should be able to come up with something worth trading to you." Reaching out Loa pulled a black feather from the recently deceased bird twirling it in her fingers thoughtfully.
Glancing toward Chronos she considered a moment. She hadn't considered more but with the offer a thought clicked to her mind. "A doorway actually...I'll need to seal the other but the clock would make a much better doorway then the original." Her pleasure in the hidden couldn't let the offer just slide away, if she could seal the original hidden passage the clock would make a much more fitting door then the other. She still hadn't followed the twisting stairs to wherever they may lead, the castle was expansive and there just had not been the time. Eftemie "Alright." Valkon nodded. "I'll either bring you teeth or the skull. I could use the watch. If I find any more stones like that I'll let you have them, Chronos."
Turning to Loa he watched her a moment. "I'll find you later, Loa. Right now I want to see what bones I have and if they match the book." With that said, he moved out of the courtyard, holding the hat to be sure he did not spill his booty. It had taken him long enough to find what he had and he was not about to lose it to carelessness. Valkon's Library wrote:Eftemie Back in his room, he pulled one of the teeth from his skull. Chronos had indicated that he needed a part of him. A tooth would work. And his bones would neve miss it since the watch would be in his possession, so he would still have all of himself. That thought amused him as he poured the bones from the hat. The tooth could be delivered later.
What was it he needed to know here? The large table gave him plenty of room to shift the bone pieces around like puzzle pieces and he focused on what he was doing. A crow skull was placed at the top with the feathers brushed to the side for references. Flipping the anatomy book on animals open to the page for birds, began moving the bones where he thought they would go. Like pieces of a puzzle, each bone was identified by size and shape, then placed where it went in the image he was looking at.
How long he remained like that he was unsure of, but it was some time. Several hours more than likely before he moved back to stare at his handiwork. The feathers seemed to gleam a bit of violet, green, and blue as he studied the full skeleton of a crow. In a few more moments he understood how the wings and legs worked to keep the creature moving. A sudden flutter of wings caught his attention as the whispling glanced upwards to see a crow staring back at him from the bookcase. For several long moments, that's all they did. Stare at one another, the crow's eyes pulling at him, transfixing him in some dark way.
A creeping feeling slipped down over him as he was mesmerized by the creature. It was almost as if he knew what it was to be a bird simply by staring into its eyes. It never approached him. Nor he it, but a burst of power slipped through him, tingling. He shuddered as he watched himself begin to change. A shiver of unnatural delight caressed him as wings covered in dark feathers shaped.
He blinked as his lantern changed covered over and hidden within. Craning his head to the side, he tried to get a clear picture of himself, but the bird suddenly cawed loudly gaining his attention. Suddenly the creature vanished as ghostly as it had appeared. Valkon opened his beak, a squawk slipping out. It was a laugh of delight at least in crow language. Then he was up into the air, shakily flying around the room. Twice he nearly flew into the bookcases, knocking a few tomes from the shelves, but soon he had control and elated in the sensation. Then he dropped to the center of the table thinking to be himself. Suddenly he was staring once more at his lantern.
"Can I do that again?"
Barely had he focused than he was a crow again. Now he understood the bones. At least as they were intended for him. It was their shapes he could steal once he understood their workings. Grinning he wondered what others would think or say. It would be a good trick to play on most.

Dining Room 02.12.09
The Dining Room Azmodeus Bloodmyth Sitting within the lavish chair at a long dining table, empty plates and set up diningware laid out all across the table as if suggesting a feast when rather..it was not. Now that many had come to his humble abode, made themselves at home and claimed their rooms within his large estate..there wasn't much need to go back to the temple just yet..no..there was to be an announcement first as the little device Chronos has so intricately created from his uses floated before his eyes, the brimming bright glow of Eclipse's eyes staring at the odd little device as well.
"Go and fetch them again Eclipse..you did well the first time after all.." the young god growled low, his anticipation growing as their time of invasion was nearly at hand.
The heartless oversoul looked at Azmodeus with a rown, unapproving of being bossed around by such a little thing, but nevertheless obeying as she no longer held the cards.
"As you wish..." she grumbled, fading from the room as her shadow traveled through the ground all in search of all of the rogues who had been cast out with them.
Relaxing all the more against the lavish chair, he now simply waited for them all to come.
"..hn...if only there could have been a feat to accomodate all of this...needless to say...there can be drinks.." he growled to himself, summoning another servant of his, idly instructing the lowly assitant to bring a few of his captured wines from places he conquered long ago..mainly only to humor himself, and perhaps to see just how many would appreciate this little toast to their coming victory, the beast chuckling darkly to himself. Shadzcat After they had discovered and marked new accomidations for themselves, the twins began wandering about as children are wont to do when in a strange, new place with so much curiosity. Yet it wasn’t too long after they had begun to explore that the oversoul, Eclipse, accosted them and ordered that they appear before Azmodeus. Not one to so soon forget the lesson so severely taught to the vampire Lestat – and his own stomach beginning to grumble for some sustenance – Milo took the lead and in little time they had reached the dining room where the god alone awaited them. Again the dark-haired twin felt that thrill of anticipation and awed fear. Instinctively fingers of his hand brushed against his brother’s, his index finger wrapping around Dimitri’s in one of many small outer signs of their deep-seated bond. “This way, I think.” He murmured as if unsure if speaking normally would be too loud and headed to sit near the peculiar, whispling lord. Cinderfae She had been annoyed at being bothered by the Oversoul until she heard what news it brought. It seemed Azmodeus had plans, she was curious and more then eager to find out what they were and so she headed toward the dining hall as instructed. She had still not found her bones but she had started construction on somethings she hoped would help lead her to them; and the clock Chronos had promised...she still waited on, only time would tell with that if it would prove fruitful.
Stepping into the Dining area she looked over those that had arrived; the twins it seemed were the first to answer the beckon likely fearful after their original tardiness - as if being exiled was meant for precise timing. Looking over the seating she glided over the floor prefering to not fully materialize as she does. They would need to wait for the others to hear the plans, she did hope they wouldn't be kept waiting...even if they now had some direction to tarry too long would give their advesaries too much time to put into actions of their own. xXStrait Jacket GirlXx David scowled at the Oversoul as she left after delivering her message. He'd been brooding over everything that was seeping into his mind. She was distancing herself ever in her own incompetence she was releasing herself from him. She was removing herself from his presence slowly by slowly. He shook her head and growled before leaving his room.
David would have to come up with a new journal while not able to have his old one. He tapped his lower lip and cocked his head to the side and continued to tap. -Where is Joachim. Maybe he was left to rot in the darkness.- He laughed at the thought then frowned. -What if he was left over there. He was chummy with Kita- David let out a low snarling hiss. If Joachim was there Davenya would distance her self even more. David shook her head and sighed. -There was no way Kita would have left a vampire there.- He chuckled softly at his silly idea about the vampire being left there. Az most likely hated him and decided not to waste his time. If he brought Joachim to him and the stupid vampire crossed over he'd run to Kita and spill everything to her being her little pet.
David stalked from one hall to the next on his way to the dining room. He was in no hurry to step into a room with his temper but he'd nonetheless go. He'd find it eventually and then he'd contemplating go in to join the others.
David slowly stepped into the Dining hall once he found it. He silently stalked to a shadowed corner. Within it his markings glowed softly but not as brightly as his sister. There he waited in silence for the others to arrive... Ol-j-man Dimitri, still unaccustomed to the sight of the dark Oversoul, decidedly remained silent throughout their trek through the enormous castle, unconsciously seeking Milo’s hand as they finally arrived in the dining room. He had made a promise to himself to make a better impression than from earlier, which had seemed to only fall down hill after their tardiness. With some relief he found that they were the first there, the strange throbbing quietly carrying on its rhythm at the back of his mind as they neared the young god; ever since the branding, he had felt its presence as assuredly as a heartbeat.
The door opened twice as two familiar faces strode through, the darker of them choosing to stand in the shadows, blue markings glowing mysteriously. Though both appeared formidable, Dimi still raised his hand and managed a welcoming smile for them. He remembered the bi-hue eyed girl as the one having spoken the ominous words that had sent Milo’s primal fear up the wall, but this did not impede the cordial greeting in any way – after all, they needed to know that sort of information, so in a way Dimitri was greatful. “Heyoo, guys! Settled in quickly too?” x___Doctor Ruri Lestat was little more than simply inconvinenced when that dreadfully depressing Oversoul showed up. Ah well, he'd have to come back to his mourning for his gorgeous face later. Although truthfully, the mark wasn't that big, and it could be hidden partially with his cravat, so it wasn't a huge deal. It was just the fact that he'd been marked. Like property, or worse, a woman. He was no one's property, that was to be sure. He was the famous Vampire Lestat. The incourrageable Brat Prince that lived by his own rules and wants. But he supposed he could obey this once. He had to admit, he quite liked his scorched ballroom though. It had spunk, and some kind of history, even if Lestat didn't know what that was. He could always come up with some epic romantic battle though that ended in a firey blaze to satisfy his imagination. He might do just that later, but first, he had to deal with the 'big bad god' again.
Floating into the Dining Room, he passed the one whose name he'd caught earlier as 'David', ignoring him since it seemed that he wanted to be left alone. Lestat could understand that. Claudia had wanted to be left alone quite a lot of the time as the years had passed. A pity she'd died so young. Wait...if she'd died...perhaps....no. No, he couldn't entertain ideas such as that. But what if.....what if she was on that 'other side' in that original world of death? What if she'd been alone all this time, and her 'father' Lestat hadn't been able to find her before he was whisked away here......well then. At least he'd finally found a reason to listen to Azmodeus and genuinely help. Claudia could be stuck over there without a companion. This, Lestat could not allow. Not his little girl, bless her little black heart.
Floating to a chair, he nodded to his now-associates. Best he get to know them soon. He'd have to make a point of it to visit them later all in turn, and make alliances, if not friendships. Then again, Lestat had always been quick to make friends, or perhaps that was his immense ego stroking itself again to make himself seem better. Yes. That was probably the case, but then again he did seem to attract the most important and interesting of people. Just look at Azmodeus. Not his most ELEGANT meeting, neither his friendliest, but at least he'd met someone interesting. Sitting at the table, he gasped in awe, admiration, and sheer joy. They had extremely old, about as old as he was if not a little older, French wine.
In the time he'd been in the other dead world, he'd found out that along with consuming blood, still as great as it had ever been, he could now eat food and drink if he so wished. He couldn't process it like the blood he craved, but it was nice to taste things again. And the best part was he had no human wastes, so no repeats of human life! It was the best of both worlds, truly. He motioned the servant over and had a glass poured of the Parisian Red Wine and took a sip of it with a content purr of pleasure.
"Ah....1787.....that was a wonderful year, indeed....my gratitude, Azmodeus. It's a pleasure to taste fine French wine again.....I assume we're going to receive vital information again? I'm all for it, since I have finally found the motivation to be commited to the cause.....you can count on me for whatever wills you have.....I've realized there's a tiny little someone that might be stuck on the other side without her 'father' to care for her," he drawled, actually being sincere for once, and not delivering even an ounce of sarcasam for once. He looked at the other denizens of the house and glared at them, daring them to stay standing and to sit down so he could continue to get information to see Claudia.
If Louis and Armand were lost to him, he'd find his little Claudia instead. He had to. Which made him officially Azmodeus's personal lapdog for all he cared, if the god so wished it. If he wanted something grizly or difficult done, Lestat would be his man through and through. If you're going to serve in hell, might as well do it with a smile and have fun, keeping the big man happy, right? He might help you find your own tiny little devil later.
GunSniper Chronos was in his storage room when the oversoul came to him. He was working carefully at creating two clocks, ones he had promised to present to Valkon and Loa to aid in their search for their bones. These could not be made the same way the first clock was, they had another purpose... Though he did not like to leave his work unfinished he decided that it would be for the best to let these creations sit and form. Quickly he hid every ingredient under the hay. Than he drew a symbol in the crate and put a lid on it. Satisfied with his work he picked up the raven feather, created his scythe and walked down the halls to join everyone in the dining room.
Once in the room Chronos looked over all the ghostlings that were already there. Eager little beavers. He grinned as he looked over all the empty seats as well. Some people had learned their lesson of attendance, while others have not?
He spotted the seat least covered in light, well... second to David's dark area, and took it for his own. He released the scythe so it would change back into the black feather, than with his other had caught the drifting feather and stuck it in his hair tie.
To pass the time he flipped open his own pocket watch and spun the hands around mindlessly. The black ash-like substance inside the face of the clock swirled about as the hands moved. Each time the hands passed a certain time the ash-like substance would change color to gold than fade once the hour was passed. As he did this his eyes remained closed, but his ears quite alert. Azmodeus Bloodmyth The attendance was low, but this was simply round one of their re-entry. Oh the other's ought to show up soon lest they lose their chances to gain anything to use to their own greater advantage later on. At least for now he was pleased with who did arrive with Eclipse's beckoning...he hoped they all weren't expecing another formal little invitation as he sat firmly upon the chair, eyes now back on the insightful little gadget floating before him.
"Good to see how many of you are diligent enough to answer this first call...* he growled low as each took their seperate seating, keeping a good distance from each other save for the twins who seemed to dwadle with a bit of small talk with another of their comrades.
About to speak again as they each settled to sit, his attention was focused back onto the wispling of a vampire, gauging his sheer joy of being offered divinely aged wines, watching as he chose one of his finest and drank it contently. At least one seemed to have a good taste for such exquisite tastes. And even the words that slipped from the wisp after taking a drink of a joy long since lost..at least now he wouldn't have to continually serve as a babysitter, having to punish anyone who thought to get out of line if even for a moment...or really have to think of doing it now as Lestat had seemingly found and claimed to have a full drive to be completely for his will.
"Well I am pleased that you have found a wine in my variety here that suits your tastes..and for assuring me now of your alliegence with me for your cause.." he paused for a moment, waiting for the other's to settle in further before he closed his eyes with a faint hiss,
"...and yes, this calling is of utter importance...because now we have a tool that will pinpoint us to a precise location in the realm we were exiled from...and even the time which the energy in the realm will be the weakest." he had opened his eyes again, the crimson slits observing all who were there.
"...and it is very near. I see only a few from the bundle I had of an audience here...and it might only be currently for the better..save for the need of maybe a few more. Now as for the time at hand..." he got up from his master seat at one end of the table, easily hovering above the table and the dinnerware set out upon it.
"...we will need to be fast and quiet. Depending on how many we have upon the time we will divide up and meet back again in the area we came from...in this time we are divided I will personally be seeking the goddess I wil need at least two to follow more to fight off any other light follower's whom she might send out after us, those who don't follow will need to seek out other's who do follow her as well and twist them however you can for any sort of information that might be useful to us in gaining her lexicon..or anything else of importance that she could be cooking up. Better yet...we will also ned to try to bring one with us...one who would prove useful...or at least for a little plaything to torture here." he chuckled darkly upon that thought as he stopped at the center of the table,
"..the time we will invade will be a day from now, the 8th...the time will be 3p.m....and we will all meet upon the highest balcony upon my estate. That will be the place where we will be able to enter the other realm again...so don't be late...and make sure to pass this note on to anyone else you may see that might be a little interested in seeing their old hoome again...if just for a few moments." GunSniper Chronos opened his eyes and looked up at Azmodeus as he begun to speak. His tail remained still and his ears perked forward in attention. It was most pleasing that the lord had enjoyed his creation and was using it to it full purpose. This thought put a grin on his face and held it there. Chronos was quite amused. Though it was rare to see him not be so amused. Only when bored. But that never lasted to long. He always found something else to do.
"Yes my lord, it would be wise for those who had close family to seek them out and convince them to join for this cause." Chronos spoke up and looked to those in the room who had mentioned something about siblings or friends being left on the other side. "Convince them that they had indeed been tricked." His tail flicked twice before settling again. "Or perhaps convince them that you are on their side." He spoke that more toward the others than Azmodeus. "Once here, I can work on something..." he tapped his chin. " Something To keep them here and sever their connection to the light realm, or the goddess rather... a clock that would bind them to this realm perhaps? something to insure their loyalty to you." Chonos spoke with a wide grin still. His pleasure in tricks was obvious through the tone in his voice. "Of course I will have to remain behind to complete such a task... and it would require something of yours, my lord, a piece of yourself I should say." He lowered his head in a bow. "Though the power you have given to me is great, it would take something much greater to accomplish such a creation." x___Doctor Ruri Lestat almost purred with pleasure as he listened to the goings on that Azmodeus was reporting to them. Oh yes, this would prove so much fun. True to his word, Lestat was planning on taking one of those positions Azmodeus had mentioned. He'd been playing around with his vampiric powers he'd had in life in his new little ballroom, just to make sure that they worked here as well as in that dead world that the 'goddess' presided over. They did. All his pyrotecnic powers, his powers of telepathy, flight still bothered him slightly and gave him a stomach ache when he flew too long or too high but it still worked too. Everything that had made him a formidable opponent in life, had transferred over to death as well. Wouldn't Claudia be suprised at how strong her Father had become? How unable she would be to ever doublecross him again? Well, he'd have to punish her like every stern father, though he supposed Armand had punished her for him. There was no greater punishment than death, was there? He supposed not.
Either way, he nodded an affirmative and held up his little hand, gently placing the wine glass on the table to do so. "As Chronos will be working on keeping them here, sire.....I can act as a threat, if need be. Why should you have to worry about babysitting rowdy individuals that find themselves.....discontent, to say the least.....being here? While no extra power has been granted to me, sire, I have plenty of my own telepathic based powers to keep them in check." he assured, nodding his head and looking to Chronos. He'd spoken to their new master already, and the creature intrigued him. It was a great feat to intrigue Lestat, and usually those who did either became great enemies, or great friends.
"Is that possible, Chronos? To hold them here against their will and sever their ties with this goddess? I'm not one to tinker with things, but this is interesting. I'm going to go, but is there anything you have that we could take with us to make the job of fighting, or capturing, the other players easier? I'd rather not use extreme telekenesis on them.....it makes me uncomfortable to slaughter someone without them being able to fight back....I do have some honor and compassion, you know," he quipped, trying to be as friendly as possible. Not hard for him, since he was a likeable person when he wasn't being a narcacistic b*****d. He couldn't wait for that special day though. It was sure to be epic and fantasticly amusing. Not to mention he could look for his beautiful little devil.
He picked up the wineglass again and sipped it again, savoring the flavor. Ah, how long had it been since he'd been able to enjoy something so much? Quite a while that was for sure. Both the wine and the mission were wonderful things to be savored. Lestat could be his own personal Devil again. He didn't particularly LIKE hurting others, unless he was hunting.....but surely Azmodeus wouldn't begrudge him a few quick drinks from the throats of the opposing side? Then it struck him. Wasn't there a vampire over there?
"What of Joachim?" he suddenly exclaimed, setting the wine glas down again, drained of its contents.
xXStrait Jacket GirlXx David tapped his arm in thought. -It would certainly bring Davenya back to my side where I could make sure she didn't get to strong on her own. It could make her once more dependent upon I. However she'd realized I kidnapped her from the light then she'd want nothing to do with me.- He frowned as he tried to figure a way in getting his sister back to him. He tapped his chin softly and began grinning. I-f Marcus brought her back and I remained here then I could possibly get her to crack and come to me when she got here. A sympathy card maybe...- David nodded his head softly in thought. Shadzcat After listening to all of them and drinking as much of this in as possible, Milo found himself frowning in deep thought on what to do. He didn’t know his or Dimitri’s full powers yet. They had just been reborn, after all. How would they be useful to Azmodeus and the rest if they were so small and hadn’t a clue what they could do? The dark god wanted spies, people to fight for him, someone who could kidnap, but Milo had never done much more than brawl with kids his age or a little older, and even then he didn’t win much because he picked the fights with opponents much tougher than he. As for Dimitri, he’d never hurt a fly!
There had to be something they could do! The twin's tail swished in some agitation behind him as he pondered before he got an idea. “Maybe we could find some people to ask questions,” He finally piped up, the use of the pronoun ‘we’ obviously pertaining to he and his brother as they were still side-by-side facing the whispling god. “We could tell them we don’t know what’s going on and they’d help us and we could tell you what they tell us. They wouldn’t hurt kids if they knew we were alone in the world, would they?” Then again, what kind of goddess would exile children like them? Cinderfae Loa listened to the others as they spoke, using a bit of her strength to lift a glass to herself she took a drink of some of the wine in toast. "A good plan m'lord. However if we are to divert some of the light to our side they may have various uses. If this Kita is more attached to them then she was to us they could be used as leverage." She cast her gaze over the others in the room, "trick them, kidnap them by force - whatever. But once we have them they will make good hostages or shields to make those from the other side think twice about their actions toward us."
Loa's eyes glanced up toward the hall and then looked toward Azmodeus, "I have considered some other forms of distraction as well...but it may take more research and planning." She wished that she had something more to offer at the moment but had a feeling Valkon may be able to help her with what she had in mind.
"I will of course be at your disposal for this, in whatever capacity you feel would be best. I think I could however provide some interesting distractions against any that may be attempting to protect the Goddess." Azmodeus Bloodmyth He listened to each of their own suggestions, what it was they planned to do such as Chronos and his intrictate clocks. As he explained how he would serve from behind the lines with his creations, supplying them with rather convienent weapons, especially to those perhaps who had no idea of their own abilities. Yes...he wanted to turn them all to his own side and it would be a hassle otherwise to keep them from trying to go back running to the side they had first chosen.
"I find the concept of the clocks amusing...in a sense they can be set to force them to serve as prisoner's, which is the thought...and when their little sentence is up they will be able to leave, but...with an unseen collar which I will place upon them when I am no longerconfined in such a...small form, much like the one I have around the very goddess as we speak...appearing only when we need them back, or rather...to bait someone else who holds them s close to their heart." he mused for a moment, having moved back to his seat at the head of the table.
"I will give the power to these clocks you speak of Chronos...your ideas have yet to cease in amazing me.." he spoke to the kitsune as he passed him on the way to his seat.
Then...Lestat's musings hit his ears, twitching slightly as he chuckled to a few of the comments the vampire had made. "I believe you would be able to keep many of those in line Lestat, and as you have offered yourself for such a position then I will gladly let you have the task of putting fear into any we bring back...whatever the cost may be."
Now....he spoke that infuriating name as the young god growled low and deep, eyes closed as the dark aura around him flared, the tips of would be arm's resting slightly on the table.
"The little b*****d..." he was in a world of his own for those few moments as the small wisp was consumed for moments within his own darkness before what appeared as a tanned black clawed hand reached out and dug into the table as a second soon followed.
"Joachim, I desire to make him squirm in my own hands...I do not want to even grace him as our prisoner and if any of you so shall come across him..." he growled low, the darkness subsiding as vicious golden slitted eyes glared straight ahead.
"Bring him directly to me..." he spoke through gritted fangs, settling back as his wings shifted, not aware of his own change as he placed his arms upon the armrests on his chair, tail flicking and curling in extreme anger until one of the twin's voices caught his ear, his head turning to gaze upon the darker of the two. Their innocence could easily work to that suggestion and that advantage...especially Dimitri if not his brother whom had suggested it.
"I wouldn't be completely confident in that statement. Though you two have enough innocence to play the part of what you suggested. When we go..I expect you both to portray the part excellently and bring back mounds of valuable information that the rest of us can use."
And finally, Loa had chipped in with her own words, his gaze averting to the sugar skull as he lifted a hand slightly.
"Of course, you can continue researching this said method..this is but our first invasion..there will still be many more oppurtunities in which to perfect your method with whatever needs to be done." he stopped, nodding at her words, announcing to him her position in this first invasion as he lifted up his own wine glass before him, motioning servants to fill the glasses of those whom had finished as he lifted up the glass towards them all.
"Then let us drink to our victory." he chuckled with a devious smirk, forked tongue sliding on his lip slightly as he drank* GunSniper Chronos was most delighted in Azmodeaus' words. Yes, he would have to make many clocks for the prisoners, and they would each have to hold back the individual ghost they were attached to. As he has seen in this realm is that every ghost has its own unique ability. Now, when the name 'Joachim' was presented and when Chronos saw that the mention of that name got far under his lord's skin he simply grinned. This person, this Joachim fellow, would need a special clock than.
He looked at Lestat after Azmodeous passed by. "As the will of the pure soul has brought us to the light, our lord's will shall keep them here. And unable to return... until -he- says so." He looked back over to Azmodeus. "As for your 'friend', I will be sure to present you with a -special- watch just for him." He grinned and gave him another bow as a 'thanks' for his support. EvilMadness666 Rosenrot came last and instead of going into the room she sat and leaned herself at the wall by the door just outside and listened. Possibility that she would see her home once more gave her a little hope and happiness. She wanted to leave this place it wasn't so fun here anymore. And what was that all talk about clocks what could be so special about them. She looked into the room and watched them all drink. This woke curiosity in her and she wanted to try it as well. She slowly and quietly entered the room just like a cat trying not to get anyone's attention smoothly climbing one of the chairs and taking the glass in her hand. She sniffed the liquid that was inside and took one big sip what made her face take a sour look. She put the glass back to it's place and looked to the others present. She was sure she will be ready for they're little action when the time comes. Eftemie He shook his feathers out as he listened to the others talking. Had anyone even noticed he was in the rafters. Most likely not unless it was Azmodeus. The thought that perhaps he was giving him enough rope to hang himself was not lost on Valkon, but he had watched the crows since being there. They watched and listened in on most conversations, stealing their baubles and tucking them away like coveted bits of treasure. For this to work, he had to mimic them, did he not?
The summonings had been clear, but he had nothing worthwhile to say until this point. So he listened to the others from his high perch. Now he had something to say and he dropped into the air, drifting downwards until he was behind an empty chair, not far from Loa and Chronos. Shifting out of the crow form, he bowed to Azmodeus once more a whispling lantern.
"My Lord," he stated, "Forgive my silence until now. The crows watch and listen. They hear and see much. Perhaps there is a way to use them and any other dark creatures that can go back and forth. They carry many things back and forth between us and there." A part of him was pleased to show his lord that he had not been idle and what he had learned. "The crows might be helpful, though I am not entirely certain yet, but I did manage to acquire the shape of one. If there are any other animals here, I shall gain those also. When she was kicking our bones out to keep us banished, she may have shoved out others. Perhaps some of the darker creatures one would over look such as rats, mice, cats, and snakes."
"I have not yet tried to get over there, but I shall. Perhaps even hide myself within a murder and see how far I get. They cross all the time." Cinderfae She had wanted to wait and decide how exactly to use the dark birds but Valkon's voice drew her attention. "If you can blend with them...perhaps the crows can be commanded." Loa smiled faintly at the idea, "if they can Valkon let me know, I have plans for them. Ones that will hopefully help us with our goal." Loa sighed faintly and glanced toward Azmodeus, "the birds seem to be able to pass through...more easily then I am guessing we will be able to. If this is true, we could send something to pass through with them. Not ourselves of course - something smaller. If they are made plague carriers at the right time and sent off ahead of time, they could create panic and distraction when we need it most."
She was somewhat unsure of what she should say in front of the others because she did not trust them all. She had a feeling even though they were cast out as well as herself some would attempt to betray them to gain favor with the Goddess. If such were to happen she decided they would have to deal with it when the time came, though she would hold no compassion for betrayers. xXStrait Jacket GirlXx David tapped his fingers against the wine glass as he swirled the wine about in an elegant fashion. He didn't dare drink. He knew what was to come would be best done not intoxicated. " I have a twin who seems to have no back bone. I'm sure we could utilize her in some fashion. She would make a great pet without much work. Fear would most likely overcome her with out lack of light. She seems dreadfully frighted of the dark. " David sighed. Az's response to the mentioning of Joachim names that it meant that he was with Kita and the others. She'd be onto what David really was now. She'd most likely come across the retched vampire by now. He hissed softly. "I however would probably be of no use in securing her from that side." Azmodeus Bloodmyth His ear twitchedat the slight various sounds, at the wind pounding upon the windows that surrounded this fine dining hall as he readied to dismiss if no one had anything to add in further. Though..there was no the sudden knowledge that Valkon had been watching this whole time from above with the birds themselves as his head turned up to gaze into the deep darkness where the other was currently residing.
tapping sclaws lightly on the table as the dark colored wisp spoke of a way to use the crows...apparently this was what Loa had been speaking of, the method that needed to be further researched. It was an interesting concept..though they were all dead, and how would a plague of such be carried through crows through their ethereal spirits?
"I enjoy the concept...and now I think I understand how much better it can be used as a distraction. We are all dead...therefore the plague through these crows wouldn't affect them directly, unless what you are getting at is to infect the living that are within that realm...and as her duty to protect them...I would see ho the panic would serve as a grand distraction." he nodded slightly, moving from his seat, already taking his leave from the dining room and hading up towards the balcony.
"Work on this said method..but when we come back...the time is at hand now follow me." he growled behind him, leaving quickly

Balcony Tower WIP

The Balcony Tower
This thread is a place where various things happen. Portals open and close. Darksiders appear to go through and then return. To find out what they did you will have to read the next post. The Balcony Tower is the staging point for opening portals from the dark to the light world so the interaction there may seem odd. Think of it as a room to be visited and the players change depending on the circumstances. Sometimes you will find several there. Other times you may only find one. And yet a third time you visit you find only silence splaying across the room.
First Portal::Azmodeus Bloodmyth He had made it up to the top swiftly, knowing his way and those who were too slow to keep up more than likely got lost. He had been working his darkness, focusing it within the center of the balcony as a portal began to shred through his realm, dark hues and the like appearing within it's opening with what appeared to be an obscure tree line.
Looking back to those who were going to follow, eyes narrowed with a small smirk on his face.
"Remember what I told you..." Cinderfae Loa had been waiting and dashed after Az when he headed up toward the balcony she didn't want to lose her chance to go back to her home even for a little while. She also didn't want to lose her chance to face those of the light that had pushed her and others from their home, she after all didn't know who Kita was but it was about time she learned.
Once she reached the top she floated slightly and moved to the side making room for the others her eyes watching the portal readily. She waited for Azmodeus to make his move first after all he was leading them. Glancing toward the corridor she hoped they hadn't lost too many and if they had lost some it would be those without the spine to do what would be needed. Eftemie Valkon shifted quickly when Azmodeus took off. Following quickly, he moved, wings beating fast as he could. It was a good thing he had garnered control, but he was not certain he could get the other crows to follow yet, so he decided to simply watch for his chance to cause trouble amongst those still there.
He dropped to the balcony railing, feet clutching it as he watched his Lord begin shaping their way through. A bit of excitement slipped into his eyes and body as he stretched his wings ready to dive back to where he truly belonged. Valkon would find the rest of his bones where she had cast them out and then he would return to inter them once more. This was definitely going to be fun.
sebasraos Svorak made it to the balcony, and looked at the other two she met before in the darkness and in the main hall, both of them seemed excited about the idea of coming back to home for a while, She was there only to enjoy a trip to another place, she had no one to care about at the other side, she had been alone for a long time, and she seemed the last Phantom that still around, she nodded to Azmodeus' order as she got ready to leap into the portal. Azmodeus Bloodmyth He looked upon those who made, silently summoning Eclipse to serve as the guide to those who were seriously lagging, taking but those two with him as he turned to face the portal he had created.
"At least there are three of you...do keep up.." he growled at Valkon and Loa, golden eyes lingering on Svorak for a moment as she managed to make it up with them before heading through the portal quickly as his form was consumed by the darkness curling around the opening and within, Eclipse grumbling quietly to herself as she floated above the ground slightly with arms crossed.
"You three have fun now.." she winked, now with the instructions to stay behind and throw who ever staggered lately...the tardiness of such beings. Cinderfae Loa smirked faintly to herself the instruction to keep up sounded almost like a dare one she wasn't planning on losing. As soon as Az dove through the portal she followed letting her form become mostly nothingness as she did. She always found it more comfortable to move speedily when she was incorporeal.
"I doubt they're going to be ready for this..."
Eftemie Valkon would have grinned if he could. Instead he sqawked loudly, jumping into the air. Moving right behind Asmodeus, the bird slipped into the darkness knowing that he'd come out on the other side where Azmodeus was. He heard Loa's comment and laughed, well at least as close to laughing as he could in the shape he was in. But it worked for his own amusement. If he could snatch her book from her, he would. If she were stupid enough to bring it with her that is, but for now distraction would work. x___Doctor Ruri Lestat sped up the stairs of the balcony, getting there barely in time to catch up with the others and not be late. He'd been feeding on a few rats he'd found around the castle, and hadn't noticed that everyone was moving around. Not the most descreet or elegant thing to be caught doing, but he did have a need for blood to keep him well nourished. Nodding to Eclipse, he followed his new master into the portal, eagerly awaiting what would happen in that world on the other side.
((Gah. Short. Sorry for the crap. T^T)) ""
sebasraos Svorak felt strange when Azmodeus' eyes lingered over her, but she just looked away with indiference and then she leaped into the dark hole behind the others.... While she was beeing carried by the dark flow, she smile with sadism and her half souls floated in emotion around her Get ready for us... cuz here we GO!EvilMadness666 Rosenrot came to the balcony right to see the first of them enter the portal. Wiggling her tails happily she jumped in. Ready or not she was going home even if it was for just a moment. xXStrait Jacket GirlXx Always shoot for the Moon... David slunk through the staircase to the portal and looked at the dark oversoul before stepping through the portal himself. He knew it'd be not easy to overtake his sister and bring her back with him but he could try... ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.
Shadzcat The end of the twins' broken chains clinked against each other every so often as they hovered quickly along after the adults to the balcony. For just little kids, the two must have had some strength to be able to stay in the air for long with the metal bonds on their hands and feet. By the time they had reached their destination, the two glimpsed Rosenrot throwing herself into the portal with David close behind. Dimitri's hesitation with a soft whimper caused Milo to pause briefly before he said a quick word of encouragement and led them into the darkness. They didn't have any time to waste.

Battle for Kita 02.09.09
Cinderfae Loa let the portal project her out into the air, looking around as she did to catch her bearings. Azmodeus it seemed had already sped on the work of his own and now it seemed she had her own work to go about. Without waiting long she moved toward a nearby tree to use it's branches to obscure her keeping herself mostly hidden and incorporeal she let the shadow of the tree keep her position hidden.
Once she felt secure in her hiding job she moved along the treetops of the forest heading toward where she had a feeling Kita's house would be. Cast out and sent away she now went to face those Ghostlings that had sided with her betrayer. She moved quickly but not too quickly as she didn't want to ruin her element of surprise once she was close Loa settled within a tree overlooking what must be the goddess' house her eyes scanning the area looking for those of the light as she did. x___Doctor Ruri Lestat sped through the portal, coming out on the other side into the Realm of Light as he had so dubbed it. Whatever it was, he knew what his job was, but his mind called out desperately for Claudia. Vampires or anything with a large amount of psychic power would be able to hear him, but he really just sounded like a father desperately calling for his lost little girl. Which technically he was, but he wouldn't allow himself to cry knowing he was so close and yet unable to find her. It seemed that the wall of silence between sire and fledgling that had formed in life, had carried over to death as well. He still couldn't hear Claudia. But that wasn't the point right now.
Using his side and superhuman speed to his advantage, he weaved through the shadowed places as few as those were, following Loa's psychic signature until he caught up with her. He figured it was smartest to back her up in case Joachim was protecting Kita's house like a good little guard dog. Vampire versus vampire were better odds than she faced, since if Lestat was willing to drain an opponent almost dry to weaken them like a newborn kitten, he was sure Joachim would too. Looking to Loa, he decided silence was the best way to communicate.
"Loa, darling.....do you need me to do anything in particular? I wouldn't be of much use to the innocent ones, and I'm much more help here if a fight breaks out so you can keep going, ma chere'. Do we have a plan of attack?" he asked mentally, using both of their talents for telepathy to his advantage. Loa would know to answer him the same way. Lestat let his mind flare out momentarily, seeking out the others that had come with them. Finding them and giving them a reassuring mental push of good luck, he withdrew and kept his psychic powers to himself for him and Loa to use as needed. Cinderfae Loa shifted slightly as she got the message from Lestat, she was hoping that there wasn't anything else in the area that could pick up such a message as it would give them away for sure. Deciding that if such messages could be heard they already had she answered back, her had materializing some to touch a skull juju on her belt as she did.
We should keep them busy here, and find the sister of David. If we can get her toward the opening we can push her through if she won't go on her own. Talking for now, aggression and confusion if that isn't sufficient in keeping them busy.
As if to heighten her suggestion of the latter a push of her mental powers caused the branches of the tree she was in to creak some. The forest had plenty of ammunition if it came to using the terrain to their advantage, smiling faintly she remembered the trees of the orchard from when she was but a wispling. Eftemie Valkon smirked faintly as he shot straight out of the portal behind Loa and Azmodeus. One went one direction and the other in a direction. He decided to follow Loa at least for a little while. She'd be going after some revenge just like he was and whatever she could grab. He planned to help her thereby getting some of his own payment extracted.
His wings flapped steadily and once or twice he called to crows he passed by. Several turned to stare at him, an evil gleam to their eye. One or two lazily slipped into the air to follow him and Valkon nearly grinned as he drifted towards where Loa had gone. xXStrait Jacket GirlXx Always shoot for the Moon... ((Tess of the D'Urbervilles I would never wish such fate upon such as hers upon and girl or woman.))
Davenya let out a long sigh as she stared down into David's Journal. The Crimson bound black notebook was mangled. The cover had two clawed marks upon it and a torn corner that laid on the bottom right. Within moment the grief that had led to the sigh dissipated into a multitude of anger, betrayal, horror, and shock. She and her brother were very alike in most way but drastically different it seemed in the most important of ways. In a fit of rage she lifted the book and flung it across the room she was sitting in and watched it land amongst the unburning logs of her new fireplace.
Some of the most un-purist thought came into Davenya's head as she glared at the journal that had knocked the logs askew. She rose from where she sat and made her way to the fire place. She glared at the book. She pulled it from the fireplace somewhat thankful that it was not lit. She threw the book at the little green rocker that sat catti-corner to the fireplace where it landed with a light thump.
((Sorry mom is bitchin later)) ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.
EvilMadness666 When she came out of the portal she couldn't believe she was back but still she was standing on the green grass and trees were full of leaves. And for a moment it all seemed to her like she woke up from a nightmare. She woke up from her daydream there were still things she had to do so she hurried after those that came before her. When she caught up with them she hid herself in shadows ready and waiting for further orders. xXStrait Jacket GirlXx Always shoot for the Moon... ((Sorry it was suppose to posteed like 20 mins ago before she was done bitchin XD))
David grumbled as he landed back in the other world. The moment the light of the world he flinched at the light. Moments after the power within him seemed to grow. So that the power bestowed upon him by az actually felt like an increase to his power. He felt that of all his original power returned fully. His eyes lit up from behind his glasses as the tatse of the power overcame him.
Davenya watched as the flames snapped and cracked in her fire place. She grabbed Davids Notebook and hid it away in her room. She'd need it for future use. David seemed to have a better grasp on his powers and hers seemed to mirror that of his. He moved through light where Davenya learned she could move through shadow.
Davenya sighed as she looked about her little new cabin and left. Something was happening... It was as if apart of her hidden from her had come back making her once more whole again...
...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.
Cinderfae Loa's eyes snapped toward movement within the forest. Finally it seemed another ghostling was about one that had not come with them. She wondered where the others were and hoped that at least some of her allies were backing up Azmodeus in case they were more on their toes then expected. Shifting slightly she materialized and touched a finger to her lips noticing the crows over head, she didn't want their grouping to scare whomever it was off before they had a chance to even start.
Drifting down she got a look at the ghostling, noting the markings she decided they were in luck it appeared to be David's twin. Sliding along the shadows she found a place to settle on a low branch, leaning slightly she called toward the horned female, "Hello there...you look like someone I know." Loa attempted to appear as none intrusive and harmless as possible as she spoke. Eftemie Valkon and his two crow friends landed in the tree nearby. He sqawked at them to shut up and listen. Loa was up to something and he wanted to be watching just in case she needed his help. He knew that others were nearby, but if he was not needed, then he would shift over to looking for Azmodeus and finding Kita's house. He needed a good look about that area so that if he did get the chance to return, he could. Who knew what he could find to use.
He'd give Loa a few more minutes and then he was going looking for Asmodeus to see if he could find some way to get a look at her old book. The whispling was quite certain she had it with her, but his opportunity to snatch it would be very slim. xXStrait Jacket GirlXx Always shoot for the Moon... Davenya jumped at the intrusion of a unknown voice. She jerked her head to where the voice came from. Until her eyes settled upon a figured shadowed on a low tree branch as the figure of Loa came into view. Davenya had become weary of all others She looked about hurriedly to check her surroundings and saw the forest seemingly surrounded by shadows. It may come in handy...
Davenya steeped closer to Loa and into the shadow that a tree was casting. "Really? I only know of one person that looks like me." Davenya kicked at some dirt that clumped together in the shadow. "Thats my Twin David. Is he who you refer to?" Davenya looked up at Loa "Who are you?" ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.
Cinderfae Loa smiled and tilted her head leaning slightly so the girl could see her, resting on the branch she continued speaking. "David, that's right," she smiled softly - or as softly as she could with her strangely made mask. "And you must be his twin...I know he misses you." Loa nodded slightly as she spoke, David had said that his sister would be useful but hadn't really given them any suggestions on how to catch her; without the others of her kind around she was hoping the twin would be at her weakest and most easy to fall to suggestion.
"I saw him not long ago, he was trying to find his way back to you..." Loa shifted her braid slightly as she spoke, "he as many others was left to die." Loa frowned with some sadness as she spoke; at this she could muster actual emotion over the subject. Shadzcat The brief trip through the portal was just as unnerving as the time spent in the haunting dark of the edge of the world, and for a moment Milo wondered if he and those exiled had been tricked to their dooms. Yet he and Dimitri found themselves in the realm of Light again, floating a few feet in the air with their steady wingbeats to see a leafy canopy above. Unlike some of the others who could recognize the place they had arrived back to immediately, the boys felt no familiarity here, had no memories to harken back to the days of old. If there was any change they could sense, it was in the natural life here, and the feeling that their breaths came easier with a breeze stirring the warm air.
For a moment, Dimitri forgot that they had been cast out from this Eden. His wingbeats slowed and face showed such childish awe while he admired the trees, the flowers, the whisper of the wind through the branches as it playfully tustled his hair and lovingly stroked his scarred cheek. It was so beautiful here. "Look at all of it, Milo," He breathed, starry-eyed.
"C'mon, Dimitri. We don't have any time to sight-see." Milo brought him back to their cruel reality with a tug on his hand, hating to have too be the one to force the peaceful smile off of his twin's face. There was no avoiding it though. The last thing he wanted was to displease Azmodeus and see his brother punished like Lestat. Just the thought brought a dark frown to his face, and even the vampire's courteous telepathic wish for good luck could not lift his spirits. It was with a sense of silent urgency that he let go of his brother's hand - there wasn't enough room to fly side-by-side in the forest - and they began soaring through the lower treetops in search of someone to ask questions.
x___Doctor Ruri Lestat nodded softly, looking forlornly at Kita's house and almost wishing he could cause trouble with Joachim. But ah well. Another time, another fight, he supposed. Looking to Valkon, he raised a tiny eyebrow, cocking his head at the little crow wisp. He decided he would follow Loa in this. He was just there as protection really, and perhaps to glean some information about Claudia. But Loa had decided to go after Davenya, David's sibling. Lestat hung behind, floating up to Valkon and his crows, looking to the fellow wispling with a questioning blue stare.
"Valkon, shall we watch a few moments more to make sure Loa has this under control, and then look for our Lord? He'll be more of a target than those of us that no one knows to be on either side. You see how easily Loa is posing as a friendly inquisitor. Should we be somewhere else?" Lestat questioned mentally, tapping his head to show Valkon to do the same. Lestat could communicate with those who didn't even have a smidgeon of psychic power. His mind was strong enough to break the barriers of another, so he could just look into your head to find what he was searching for. It wasn't that hard, really.
""
Eftemie Valkon shifted his head around to watch Lestat. Obviously he could hear what the other was saying so it would figure that he would hear him back. The crow blinked thoughtfully. Yes. Wait on Loa. I think she plans to take this one for our Lord. And herself. She may need help getting this one into the portal if that is what she plans.
He glanced over at his two crow friends still watching and waiting. They will help also. And I think they will come back with me. I will use them well. A smirk was seen in his eyes as he turned his head back towards Loa. She was very sure in what she was doing. He supposed there were some interesting qualities to her afterall. xXStrait Jacket GirlXx Always shoot for the Moon... Davenya winced at what Loa said about her brother. She hung her head softly in sadness. She stared at the ground for awhile the shadow of the tree began to grow darker. She rubbed her cheek as if whipping away tears. "Thats a lie." Davenya shook her head still looking toward the ground. "My brother only ever saw me as a nuisance. He never cared. He got the taste of power about him when he first came across what his powers were and that was where I lost my Darling baby brother." She jerked her head toward Loa and shook her head. "Why are you trying to lie to me like this." Her clenched her jaw and stared at the oddly colored girl. Something was off and she didn't like the happenings. She'd seen David. Something wasn't up at all. ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.
Cinderfae Loa kept herself from sighing, she should have made David tell her more about his twin before attempting this. But it was already too late to speak to the other, all was not lost yet the girl hadn't attempted to run or attack which was at least a sign that she was hearing some of what she said.
"You see I'm seeking knowledge, I have a sight that allows me to feel the world around and something has drastically changed." Pausing and hoping for it to seem like a confused silence before she continued on she spoke again, "your brother was one I heard call out in it all...is he is distant? Or perhaps hiding what he truly feels?" Loa shrugged slightly letting the question hang in the air.
"Do you know much of these going ons?" She was curious after all, what had the goddess actually told those left as her flock. iStoleYurVamps For a long time, Joachim had scoured the mountain looking for the so called...pylon. "Gods...This is pointless..." A snowstorm and risen and was not letting him move further up the mountain.Spotting a nearby cave, Joachim hissed as he felt snow pelt at his bare skin. Taking refuge, he shivered as he felt is body call out for sustenance, yet the very idea of blood held no hunger for him. he longed to taste meats...fruits...things that he had only smelt and seen. Looking behind him in the cave, he noticed bones littering the floor. "Great...." He groaned is annoyance. Kicking a few bones from his path, he stopped using his vision, and used his ears. every step his took sent an echo to the walls. Allowing him to see. "Well...better then I expected." The cave had lead him to the mountain's center, a long tunnel running from the central floor where he was to the very top. However, the light didn't reach him, yet, it did reach the very core, where Joachim saw his goal. "The pylon..." Not taking his time to think of a proper sacrifice or thank the gods, Joachim went to the crystal. The second he touched it, he felt himself cry out in pain. His thirst for blood ran fire in his veins. Looking up, he watches as the white crystal began to glow. "Oh gods....why...." He moaned as he felt his fangs grow over his lips, hunger clouding his mind. Yet, it was not the end. He felt pain rack his body along with his hunger. Suddenly...as fast as it had begun...it stopped. Bringing his hand to his face, Joachim whipped away the saliva. And froze. His had was no longer the grey of death. Summoning his sword, he looked at his reflecion the cyrstal glow giving his light. His skin was pale, but no longer death's grey. His hair was no longer fixed, it was now wild....and his eyes were a dark purple. He looked....alive. "Oh gods...." He moaned as his felt this body call out for blood once more. "Now....For the Plains."
xXStrait Jacket GirlXx Always shoot for the Moon... Davenya shook her head. "David is not with me...Or rather he was not here with me anymore. He was sent away with all who pollute and destroy Our beautiful world here. All the like of him were thrown out so that we could restore the world." Davenya shook her head and watched as the shadows began to increase about her. Davenya glared at the ground. "My brother was a horrid person. He deserves to be where he was thrown to. "
Davenya lifted her head and looked at Loa. "Why are you here? If you want information go to Kita. She told the rest of us what was going on... Unless you can't...
...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.
Cinderfae Loa quirked a brow slightly, "ah so you are very sure then. Myself I was sleeping...a deep sleep, I awoken and found the world changed with confusing feelings filling it." Polluting the world, Loa's mind grasped the idea - they would show them polluting that was for sure.
"I don't know where Kita is, but it sounds like you know her personally...where did you see her last?" Loa perked up some looking at the forest as she did, "if I can't find her I may need to head off to see where the world takes me. There seems to be a disturbance," she frowned as if concerned looking to Dav as she does, "even with the pollutants being pushed away." It seemed the one known as David didn't know his sister well, she hoped the others were nearby if possible she still wanted to take the girl back with them. x___Doctor Ruri Lestat growled softly as Davenya accused them of DESERVING exile. Of DESERVING to be cast out because of their respective natures. Did you cast a Wolf out of the woods because he was eating poor little animals and disturbing the plantlife? Of course you didn't, it was only acting on it's basic nature! So why were they DESERVING of hell, because of the same thing? Most of them weren't even malevolent, most of them didn't want to cause harm. Hell, even Lestat didn't really want to hurt anyone. He'd use his powers, but not to the extent to kill. Killing in cold blood had never suited him well, no matter how much a devil he claimed to be. What of the twins? They'd been the most innocent and sweet creatures that Lestat had seen so far in his travels here in this world of the dead. Did THEY deserve to be cast out for no reason? Oh god, he had that itching feeling to smite the truly ignorant and evil again. That unrestrained bloodlust that was fed by his emotions and desires. He couldn't lose his head and attack her. He couldn't. Not when he didn't know how far Joachim, another vampire that could rival his own abilities, was.
He growled softly again, closing his eyes and clenching his fists, biting into his lip so hard that he tasted his own metallic blood. How strange, that all other's blood tasted like a sweet wine that Lestat could lap up like a cat with cream, but his own blood tasted like a metallic, bland, more mild blend. Yet the blood of other vampires was almost euphoric. How strange. At least thinking about the blood in his mouth was keeping him from pouncing on Devenya and sucking her dry right there.
"Are we going to take these insults?" he hissed softly to Valkon.
xXStrait Jacket GirlXx Always shoot for the Moon... Davenya sighed and shook her head. "Last I saw of her she stormed from her house in anger." She shrugged her shoulder. "You should most likely go search for her." Davenya jerked her head toward Loa. "Leave me now. I want to go back into the Solitude I had been in before you came upon me..." Davenya turned toward the tree making to look like she'd go around it. As she neared it the shadows grew darker and seemed to reach toward her as she stared at them. They began going from a Darker grey to darker shades leading to a black. ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.
Cinderfae Loa grumbled to herself mentally, the girl had no curiousity about her and apparently was too caught up with herself to pass on any news. She wondered if the lights were just addle brained or smarter then she realized...rolling her shoulders slightly she sat on the edge of the branch swinging her feet.
"For one so attuned to the light the darkness is heavy around you. I think it perhaps safer to follow the callings in the air rather then become entrenched where it seems the light and shadow can't be seen apart." Loa moved from the branch and started back into the forest as if following some thought of her own, keeping her sense open in case the girl would actually follow; if not she would take to the trees again and despite the failure go and cause some actual havoc for those of the light. Her patience for subtly was becoming worn. xXStrait Jacket GirlXx Always shoot for the Moon... Davenya Shook her head and her Black Ponytails danced as she turned to where Loa was leaving. "I actually seem to find comfort in the shadow now. I don't know what David told you but..." Davenya cocked her head to the side. "I don't want to ever see my brother again." Davenya clenched he jaw before hissing softly. "I'm not someone to Judge on the rights and wrongs of who was thrown out but David Deserved to be thrown from this world." Davenya shook her head. "David is no longer my brother. And next time you see him tell him that his sister is no longer the empty shell he left her as..." With that the darkening shadow that had gathered about her engulfed her and she was gone.
(Her new Location has yet to be determined) ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.
Cinderfae Once it seemed the other was gone Loa sighed and made her way toward a tree slinking along the trunk in anger and some frustration to find the others. A low clattering of anger was apparent in her voice, "I say we find some others and cause a distraction...the old fashion way. The twin underestimated his sister's resolve and it has tried my patience."((xD wasn't sure if the other post was that she was already gone or not. Mediciner Leaving the goddess's house in hopes of getting a small breather, the Whisp was lazily floating several inches above the leafy ground as she waved about the forest, looking for an exit from the unending amount of trees. As were many of those that stayed with the light, she was utterly unaware of the invasion from outside and therefore, when she heard the leaves rustling above, Merrill merely glanced up to see two small figures dart above most of the branches. "Every other thing can fly around here," she mumbled to herself, tendrils fading behind as she wound about the impressive girth of an old tree. Not that the Whisp had many particulars to flying herself, being that her floating was more than enough for any sort of air travel, but she wondered what it was like to have solid appendages.
Dimitri inclined his head slightly towards Milo, eyes trained below. "Hey, I see one," he whispered, beating his wings silently to a stop in midair, tail curled close to his body. "Think we should start there?" The strange multicolored blob looked harmless enough from above. Eftemie When she vanished, Valkon shook his feathers as if to say good riddance. It would almost be fitting to leave them all here in the light they so wanted and watch it burn them all to death. That's what too much light did. It lit everything up until it was all faded or white. Bland.
He had always been at times helpful as well as playing tricks and pranks on others. This Kita if she was connected to Azmodeus deserved to be severed from him and to lose their Lord. He was far too worthy for someone who simply shut themselves away in fear. She had to be afraid. Only someone who felt such locked themselves up in a cage. She would come crawling back, blind and frail, if she stayed here. He was tempted to let her do it.
Let's find something else to do. Let's go see about Kita's house. Maybe her book is there. Then he jumped into the air, his two friends following him. Tell Loa. And as for this Dav, she should feel lucky to have a brother. Others had none at all. She deserved all the blandness the light had to offer also. Cinderfae ((...er I thought she was suppose to be gone from the area? Edited in what Loa is up to...basically waiting razz Settling on the branch Loa watched as Valkon and the two birds flew off. To the outside it appeared that she had startled the avian, she considered where he would head with his friends likely to the house. Settling on the branch she waited drifting idly back toward the portal to find somewhere to rest. If there were others around she may be able to cause some distraction but for now there was only waiting. x___Doctor Ruri Lestat nodded and floated silently over to Loa, looking up at her with mild annoyance in his eyes. "Agreed. The girl's lucky I didn't haul off and drain her dry for those insults, she was trying my patience so." he quipped, his lantern glowing brightly for a moment in his anger and annoyance, then dimming to its usual calm glow. Hm. Well, that was new. The lantern responding to his emotions? He'd have to take greater care not to betray anything around others. Loa and Valkon were alright, he'd decided, but he couldn't afford to be weak in these troubled times. Floating behind Loa, he twitched, feeling something on the reaches of his mental scope. There was a dark blur, and then there was another denezin of light. No, he felt the twins just pass it. Leave it for them to capture.
"How shall we go about....distracting them, ma chere'? We can't just simply start dystroying things can we? Or would you rather I set the forest on fire? Is that enough of a message?" he purred, nudging Loa playfully. He was really getting into this causing trouble thing. To any outsider, it seemed as if Lestat was merely playing with Loa, him being an actor from his human days had taught him that even if you're talking about something morbid or destructive, do it with a smile and don't let others know you're not being so docile and friendly. Acting 101. He chuckled softly at that thought. Pouting, he floated in front of Loa, cocking his head.
"What do you propose we do?"
""
Cinderfae Settling thoughtfully as Lestat spoke to her she tilted her head speaking softly, "with seeing her powers I'd say we create a diversion away from where others my be keeping a survey on things. For it may be hard to find them if they don't wish to be found...almost as hard as finding myself or some of the others."
"That book or perhaps one for information would be best. Because most seem absent, we should find where it is they have gone to." x___Doctor Ruri "Sooo......where should we start? We have no direction, no leads, no hostages as of present. We're not doing very well to start off you know, ma chere'," he sighed, still actually thinking about that 'burn the forest' idea. That would gather them quick enough to save their pretty little landscape. Make it as ugly and barren as the hell they were cast off into. Seemed like poetic justice to him. But Loa did have a point. Where WERE all of them? It seemed eerily quiet. He nodded to Loa, jerking his head in the opposite direction, and sped off, hoping she would follow. He was going towards that light source he'd felt before. If the twins didn't pick it up for info, he would.
""
Cinderfae Eyes widening somewhat in surprise, she let her material form fade and darted off after Lestat. If he was going to start the forest on fire she at least wanted to be there to help after all. She wasn't a fire starter by nature but if there was a mechanical device nearby that would create a spark she'd be able to get a fire easily enough. And if not, perhaps he had some sort of lead she could use; she hoped Valkon's bird form would give him enough of an advantage to get some sightseeing done since she couldn't follow him when he was like that. Shadzcat He had been moving on ahead when his brother's voice behind him caught his attention. Carefully moving so he was hidden in the shadow of the canopy, he observed the little haze of white mist. That little thing? He didn't even know if it was sentient, let alone if it had any information for them. Milo shook his head, motioning for his brother to move on out of sight of her. "What's a glowing cotton ball gonna know about this world? It may not even talk," Sensing Lestat's intent to interrogate the whispling himself, Milo realized that it would be best to just move along to someone who would obviously know more. "Let's leave it to the others and find somone else," He decided, flying off once more in search of any corporeal being to converse with.
xXStrait Jacket GirlXx Always shoot for the Moon... ((Okay well she was in the shadows but not there. She is just somewhere else cause I don't know where to make her go yet...))
David felt a little part of him disappear for a slight second before it returned to him. He growled at the flux inside him. He frown as he made his way back to where he thought he'd find Davenya. He stepped from the forest and found the clearing where the oddly disfigured house they all called home. Angel was finally out of his hair...At what cost? He grinned and laughed at the thought.
David grinned as he stepped across the threshold and looked to the living area. It seemed that some of the furniture had gone. He frowned and proceeded upstairs and too his room...
Davenya sighed as the shadows around her receded and she saw a mass of flat ground in front of her. She found that she was crouched in the small shadow of a scrawny tree. She rose and stretched. Slipping through the shadows only allowed her to vaguely see shapes of the others outside of shadow. That included the trees and such looking much like Ink Blobs. Something was terribly wrong. Loa was an odd sort of being. She tapped her chin as she looked about the rolling plains. Something had called her here but what she had yet to discover...
...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.
Mediciner "Hokies . . ." Never questioning his brother's reasons, Dimi simply flew right after Milo without another word, trusting that his twin knew whatt was best. As they moved along on silent wingbeats, the young boy took in the bright colors of the land of light, which had almost blinded him after the dark and sepia hues of the world outside; the pure saturation of color made him gleeful and imbued the wyrmling with hope that they could truly return someday. In fact, Dimi chose not to think of leaving until they were told, soaring right alongside his brother in search for another being to interrogate.
The trees wouldn't stop erupting from the ground! "Confound it, I'm as lost as a blind man!" the Whispling growled, making a 180 turn to head back towards Kita's house for directions. Probably should have done that in the first place. Merrill began to notice that the quiet forest sudenly wasn't so quiet anymore, but she attributed that to just more late-comers heading towards the goddess for information. Great, more briefings to attend to . . . "Well, at least we're heading in some sort of direction." Cinderfae She sped after Lestat but then paused recognizing the area she was in, it wasn't far from the estate and the barn that set on the edge of it. Grinning to herself the poltergeist paused floating in the air as she did, calling to Lestat she sent him a simple enough message of her intent to stop and the image of fire. She knew the machine for picking was in the barn and that it used some sort of flammable substance to work, it was a large machine - hopefully large enough to start a good sized fire.
Moving quickly toward the estate she made for the barn looking for the machine in question. She wished that Valkon was near, but she had a feeling he would see the smoke once the fire started. Moving toward the picker she drifted into the mechanics of it, the dark of the outside she hoped would keep the living from coming to investigate. She didn't care particularly for their lives but there were still questions in that house she wanted answered. With a trembling start the picker started up and the gremlin focused her energies to making it move out of the barn and toward the forest.
Loa travelled away from the estate, some annoyance in how much more slowly the machine moved but once she was out of sight of the house she pushed herself from within it. Not overly strong with speaking through her mental abilities she called to Lestat, get the others - lets set many fires.
She then drifted down back into the machinery using her strength to break the pipes and wires within the machine letting the flammable liquid drain over the forest floor as she does. A small thought in her mind as she watches the machine start to unfold, in attempting to wipe the pollution as the ghostling had put it from this world they had unleashed something much worse.

Battle For Kita Pt. 2 02.09.09
Cinderfae Her mental call had been more of a shout, but at this point Loa didn't care. She was annoyed for several reasons and had decided if those left with the light were not around to care that they had found a way through that she would give them something to care about. Once the oil and fuel had moved over the plants in the area around the machine she flittered through it looking over the gears until she found two rubbing close enough together to suit her purpose. Pressing them with what strength she had she twisted one viciously as she did causing them to screech loudly together, a horrible ear piercing sound that caused some of the nearby night birds to take flight. Loa herself laughed with the strange chattering that had become common place with her.
A spark and then several, it didn't take long for the fuel to catch fire and then for it to spread. Drifting from the machine Loa moved toward a nearby tree, bouncing on the lowest branch breaking it to add some fuel to what was becoming a blaze already. Once it started to grow she continued her bouncing on the plants and trees attempting to feed the flickering flames with dried bits of leaves and wood urging it to spread toward the trees higher and further into the forest. Mediciner One tree looked the same as another! Oh for the love of Pete, and she had barely left the home to boot! Merrill grumbled loudly to herself as she breathed in the strange scent of . . . well, whatever it was, it was clouding up whatever served as her lungs in this realm, and the Whispling began to cough. A being of smoke-like proportions herself, one would think the grayer kind wouldn't affect her as much. "What in the blazes . . ." And then a small burst of light caught her eye and Merrill turned to see a strange creature bouncing past above her, unidentifyable liquid splashing about in her wake as well as tinder and dry leaves, several of which floated back down to the ground just nearby.
The stench grew stronger, but what was it anyway? For some reason Merrill did not like it, and the feeling was cemented as se turned and saw more of the bright tongues of heat and light beginning to spread about the trees. The sight struck at a heartstring she didn't know she had, and with growing anger the puffball chased after the bone-carrying woman. "The hell are you doing?!" she called after her, beginning to rise through the branches. Azmodeus Bloodmyth It had been a hard search that amzingly turned up to be a wild goose chase. He could easily follow her scent and track it down in a flash...and now that he was not just a mere wisp it had become terribly easy to do it again. Though...she managed to mask it quite well this time around, perhaps it was just having been denied her trail for a good while now...or the light of her realm protecting her, but just for the moment. Having left the other's behind to gain, twist or capture any of those that followed her, knowing well that they could complete the task...or rather..were in capable hands with one another. Though not only was he searching for the goddess..but that blasted whelp of a vampire as well as the little treasure Chronos had gifted to his god jingled around his own neck upon a thin chain he created from his own aura.
He'd trick Kita into giving it to the vampire perhaps...as if it was a little friendship gift or something else..whatever it could be played off as, though he would be able to activate it and to his will..torture the whelp with whatever he saw fit in front of it's maker, himself, and the goddess. Having stopped within a tree top near the goddess's very home, his tail swayed from side to side as he held onto the branch, growling low as he sniffed the air again...then his ears perked. He smelt something burning as he narrowed his eyes, spreading his wings as he jumped from the branch and took to the sky.
His sharp eyes observed the realm below as he streaked through the sky, closing in on the burning area as he bared his small fangs, easily catching the colors of the sugar skull.
"Uneeded attention...!" he hissed, sweeping down just to catch the sight of another of Kita's follower's, creating a barrier around the fire to choke it out, eyes back to Loa.
"We don't need this sort of attention yet Loa...soon you can do this..but not yet.." Cinderfae Loa glanced back over her shoulder toward Merrill chasing her and called back, "terrible fire! We need to out run it!" Laughing with the faint sound of bones she continued to bounce away this time actually moving from the fire as she did.
Azmodeus voice brought her attention to him, she chattered her bones in annoyance hissing back, "the lights are gone hiding or up to something. I was drawing them out..." grumbling some in annoyance she glanced back toward Merrill and then to Az, "that one is the only one around now, I can keep her busy."((Edits love in for Kita. Mediciner She had been in a steady rising speed when a shadow crossed over and Merrill paused with shock - not from anything the winged beast had done physically, but rather of the deep stench that rode her senses beyond simple sight or smell or any other of the main perspectives for that matter. The very presence of this guy sent the Whispling's alarm bells ringing their heads off, proved all the more once the beast spoke, reprimanding the skull girl she remembered vaguely now (Loa apparantly) for her fiery antics in a dark growl of a voice that caused Merrill to instinctively narrow her eyes at them defensively, tongues of her smokey form suddenly contracting closer to her undefined body as though for protection.
"Oy, 'keep me busy'? Least you could leave the trees out of it, they've got plenty ta do without fires going about," she commented, pausing in the air where she floated without as much wavering as she had in the past, beginning to grow used to defying gravity. "What're you two, miscreants out on a playdate?" Azmodeus Bloodmyth His eyes had slowly shifted to look upon the one whom had caught Loa as she dared to speak to him in such a tone, and with a poor choice of words. He'd let Loa take care of thie one after he'd taken a piece of this ghostling for himself. Baring small fangs slightly with wings flexing and shifting against his back he began to approach Merrill, golden eyes locked dangerously on her.
"Miscreants? If I were you I would watch what I say in the face of a god." he snapped, now just a couple of feet from the female,
"...I'll give you one chance before letting her take care of you. Where is the goddess Kita." he snapped again, reaching for the other ghostling. Cinderfae Loa swiveled not realizing that Merrill had gotten so close to them, narrowing her eyes in annoyance at the wispling she prepared herself to dive with full strength but paused seeing that Azmodeus seemed to have some other use for her.
Floating somewhat uneasily she waited to see what would happen between the two, her eyes shifted over toward the forest as she waited watching the fires spread. Whatever the light ghostlings were up to they would soon need to return if they wished for the forest to remain when they did. Eftemie Valkon had flown onward looking for this house whatever it might look like of Kita's. For some time he saw nothing, no movement. But then his sharp eyes spied something shining on the ground and he whirled around drifting down on the air towards it. His two companions spiraled down with him, idly drifting on the air currents. Landing in the nearby tree, he tilted his head as he tried to spy what it was that had been shining. A piece of metal hung from a string in a tree. Not exactly what he was looking for, so ruffling his feathers in irritation, he jumped into the air again, flapping upwards. The scent of smoke rose into the air and he turned back to see what was happening. It was then he saw Loa bouncing gleefully. Of course. He should have known.
Spotting Azmodeus also, he whirled downwards still on his own search for something important to steal. He wanted her book or to rip pages from it and steal them but he'd have to find her and it. Valkon had no doubts she had it with her. Upon hearing what was said, he simply landed nearby in a tree to watch for a chance to help. This creature would give the information. He had no doubts and he would perhaps have a chance.((*pings heart at Kita*)) Mediciner Recoiling back, Merrill matched the so-called god's advance with an appropriate retreat, step for step. Her form seemed to have shrunk and now appeared at its most solid appearance, the smoke-like substance barely leaving her now as she stayed away from those claws. How was she to defend herself now, barely a puffed up ball of whatever she was?! "Don't know," she replied with a curt tone, narrowed violet eyes meeting his amber one's in defiance. Kita did leave without so much as a word last she saw her. And he called himself a god - and as far as that was concerned in her book . . . "You're Azmodeus, aren't you." Unless he was just a guy with way too many piercings who was deluding himself; somehow, Merrill couldn't make herself believe that. Suddenly the weight of the amount of danger she was in now began to fall on her, inch by inch. Azmodeus Bloodmyth Now this small one had an idea of who she was face and the situation she was now in. Just by the thought that she now knew who he was, and even further..his name, made him smirk twistedly..but then again..she had no valuable information for him, at the moment.
"And small one..you are indeed correct...it looks like you've been informed somewhat...and now...you will be coming with us back to my realm." he chuckled sadistically, grabbing for the wisp again, motioning for Loa to close in as well to take her as their prisoner. Eftemie Valkon cawed in approval as he watched closely. They would have a slave now. Or a test subject depending on what his Lord and Loa had planned for her. The bird's eyes were smirking, but part of him annoyed. He'd not had a chance to steal what he really wanted, but he had two bird companions to return with him. The fact that they would die meant nothing to him. They would be tied to him and do as he instructed. Perhaps they'd find other bones and return as they passed back and forth as only they could. And maybe they'd bring others and soon there would be a murder of crows serving him and the rest. Somehow he enjoyed the thought of his own small army to help Azmodeus and the rest of them regain what they should be part of. But he still felt cheated of what his true goal was. There would be another day to try. Kita Etheria Bloodmyth He is the beast, and I am his prey....
There was a crack of light, searing Az's hand as Merrill was pulled away from the small god, after the light faded the goddess stood there, eyes bright glowing green, her pale visage easily taking on the red hues of the fire before clouds started to form above. With the clouds rolled in more cracks of light, thunder and soon a massive downpour to cull the rapidly spreading fire.
'Hn....' she only moved to Merrill, ears docked as she looked over her, sniffing her lightly much like an animal would 'are you hurt?'Mediciner "HeyheyheyHEY!" If there was one thing Merrill could not stand, it was to be touched without permission - much less by this weirdo who had, of all things, pierced horns. Ivory claws inches away, she suddenly felt something else grasp her and was pulled away with a slight "Wah!" escaping her. None other than Kita was holding her now, examining her with both eyes and nose. Despite the relief that she wasn't alone anymore, the Whispling couldn't help but squirm a tad with some discomfort. Gentle as Kita's grasp was, it was just Merrill being hypersensitive, though appreciation still shown through in her dry response.
"Well, could be worse off but I'm all right. A bit longer there and he might've skewered me. But, um, yeah. Thanks." She was still affixating the demon lord with a glare, body compacted in defense. |~| Gotta go for the night, guys. Feel free to do as you please with Meme until I next get on~ |~| Azmodeus Bloodmyth He roared in pain as he pulled his hand back immediately away from the sudden light as the small ghostling had apparently been saved. Through narrowed eyes and bared fangs, his forked tongue sliding slightly from his mouth like a snake's would, tasting the air as his frown became a smirk again. There she was and he took her scent in again, having missed it so much as he watched her care for the little one whom was about to be stolen from her realm.
"Ah...there is my kitten..." he chuckled quietly to himself, now so close he began to toy with what power he had now, focusing it upon the colar he had on her neck.
"Say hello to the goddess Loa..Valkon." he mused, beginning to solidify the collar. Kita Etheria Bloodmyth He is the beast, and I am his prey....
Her look was still calm, still smooth as she let the wispling go, moving her out of any reach of the others. Her tail lashed a bit, tho her eyes held Az's firmly. She could feel the collar forming, and she wondered how she would hold up, tho she couldnt let that distract her.
'You arent welcome here anymore....'Cinderfae Loa moved back from the force of light that burned Azmodeus, letting a harsh sound she turned to look toward the goddess. Narrowing her eyes she watched the one that had banished her from what before had been her home.
Glancing toward Azmodeus at his words she let a slight wave, "hello horns." Drifting down to rest upon a bit of tree that hadn't burned away yet she kept her eyes on the area around them. Kita's followers would show...or might show. She still wondered where they hid in the midst of the destruction. If it came to it she would be ready to avert them from whatever the beast god had planned. Eftemie Valkon squawked, nearly hissing his disapproval of her interruption of their taking the light creature as a slave. He looked her over in distaste. So this was the supposed goddess who thought she knew best for all of them. His insult to her was clearly seen in his eyes.
Instead he began looking for anything he could use. Did she have it with her? And if not, then where was it? And was it unguarded?
He laughed, at least for a crow it was a laugh when Loa called her 'horns'. It fit. He wondered briefly what his Lord had planned for her. Azmodeus Bloodmyth Clenching his singed hand tightly, his dark blood dripping out of various places as he slowly dragged his tongue across, cleaning his hand though never breaking his gaze with her's now that he had her attention. Wouldn't it be something if he could manage to constrict her and bring her back with them with those who had followeds help? The collar was solid again, the thick black chain appearing and linking to her's, the other end upon his own as he hoved up to keep at eye level completely with her.
while his own follower's lingered, waiting for the next move he began to move to her slowly, coming so close now that he touched her cheek, stroking it lihglty with his claws like so many times before.
"Now now kitten...if I'm not welcome here...I welcome you to my own realm...where we can be together again. It seems to me...that none of those who stayed in the light care enough to save this realm...although they always want and wish for your protection." his voice was smooth, face close to her's as his tail twitched slightly as if motioning to Loa and Valkon to ready themelves Cinderfae As Azmodeus moved in closer to the light goddess, Loa crouched slightly readying herself as she did. She didn't really understand how the relationship worked between the two and really didn't want to know, personally she wasn't into the whole chains and leashes at least not for herself but if it worked on this goddess it was good for their cause.
She was somewhat amused listening to Azmodeus' words, if his own manipulations worked it would benefit them all. But twisting the mind of the light enough that they believed the dark was the answer seemed somehow fitting. The beast god seemed to be preparing for something so Loa settled waiting to spring, dodge, or move...she didn't know what was coming but was certain it was something. Kita Etheria Bloodmyth He is the beast, and I am his prey....
She still didnt move, her look was strong and holding his. Her ears flicked a bit at his touch as her eyes started to turn black again as the collar and the chain solidified. A faint moment passed where she purred weakly and moved into his touch, her eyes half lidding faintly. 'No... Im no longer yours...'iStoleYurVamps "Didn't you hear her? You.Are.Not.Welcome." Joachim had left the mountains to arrive at his worst fear. The goddess was is the hold of the darkness. However, it would explain his hunger. The darkness had return...along with his own. Fangs were inches long, overlapping his lower lip. The burning lust for blood ran in his veins. Drawing his sword he liked his lips, eying the smaller ghostlings at Azmodeus's side. "Care to finish what we began so long ago?" His voice was dark, twisted, hunger clouding his vision. "Because, we do care enough, both for our world.." he looked at Kita. "And our goddess."((Joachim...he's tries to do good..but, he fails LOL)) Eftemie Valkon listened and watched carefully. He could not understand what Azmodeus saw in Kita but it must be something he did not understand. At least for now. But he would serve him as he had agreed. Tensing slightly, he and the two birds watched in anticipation. They would do as they needed to support him. And so much the better if his Lord planned to return her to his realm as their slave. Where were her supposed chosen? Where they here for her as Loa and he and the others were for Azmodeus? He did not see but one.
Cinderfae The vampire's sudden appearance caused her to tense her power as she watched. Listening to him challenge she waited a small smile beneath her brightly colored mask. Even so boldly stated he was outnumbered, but she waited if there was something else here she would not get in the way of the beast god. Azmodeus Bloodmyth He chuckled lightly, seeing her eyes beginning to turn black under his influence, his eyes narrowing slightly aas the slits began to thin out. He tasted her cheek so lightly, the stud on his tongue dragging slightly on her skin.
"Then to who my kitten..." he hissed in her ear until interrupted by the oh so familiar voice as his gaze barely turned to look at the vapire, ready to fight. His face was still close to her's as he smirked and licked her cheek again.
"You perhaps are just one of the few whelp...and there is a reason for it that we all know quite well..." he growled low, his grip on her still so strong as he flashed his own fangs at Joachim.
"...and our battle...it will be soon...but not now, Loa...Valkon...everyone...tear him down and bring back his body to my realm..." he hissed, nipping the goddess slightly as he began to guide her with the chain closer to him, creating the portal where they would all soon return to his realm. Cinderfae Loa didn't wait for more then that prodding, she propelled herself forward calling what strength she had pulling the leaves up around Joachim as she did, those burning and those not. Loa went for his face a chattering sound like scrapping bones following her as she went for the vampire.((randomized number as told to smile iStoleYurVamps "You are worse then death!" A memory of skulls aflame and a scyth cutting at his skin. Joachim hissed as he felt the leaves burn his skin. Letting out a feral cry he swund his sword at his attacking looking to cleave her in two. "No one will stop me!" Eftemie Valkon did not hesitate. He and both crows at his side dove off the branch and directly at Joachim's face. He was offended at the way Azmodeus had been spoken to. And the whispling now understood why his Lord despised this one. There would be no mercy here.
Claws and beaks flew at Joachim's face. They would shred him just as asked of them. If nothing else they would give Loa a chance to act also. With more they would tear him down to nothing.
Kita Etheria Bloodmyth He is the beast, and I am his prey....
She was too strong under his hold to break free. A soft whimper escaped her lips at the feel of his darkness, at the feel of his closeness. Her eyes closed completely as her ears flopped to the sides, unable to hear or feel anything outside of what the beast was.
'Az.... stop...'iStoleYurVamps "KITA!" Yelling in anger, Joachim hissed and clawed at the air, looking to kill the offending birds. "I will tear you to shreds!" His yelled as he managed to grab on of the birds from the sky. In rage he ripped the bird in half, swords swinging to cut and kill the other. "Fight me Shadow! Or do you so fear my blade?" xAugustinex The two small lores headbutted Azmodeus as strong as their small bodies could muster. They knew they were no match, being lores and not as strong as anyone else who was around at the time.
"Lady Kita!" yelled Rosalin desperately. "Please do not let him overcome your senses. You are stronger than that!" Cinderfae The poltergeist pushed with her strength forward hitting the vampire in his face but as she did she could feel his blade slice into her side. Growling she spun off to the side to keep the blade from cutting her more dropping as much of her material presence as she could she spun back holding her wounded side and attempting another pass to tear at the vampire's side with her teeth as Valkon had renewed the attack on his face. Azmodeus Bloodmyth He growled low, menacingly in her ear as he continued to bring her further into him, clouding her senses with his darkness over the shouts of those who tried to bring her back around. Though quite suddenly...he felt something hit..rather..tap his side, almost not feeling it at all due to the bone like armor that was around his sides protruding from his very body. Interrupted again he growled low, barely hearing Joachim's continued cries for him to go and fight him himself...though he looked around for what in the world had hit him in the side first, seeing the two little lores, arching a brow.
"Hn...dreadfully innocent.." he growled low, nudging the lores away easily the the dull end of his blade tail before going back to her, dragging claws on her skin, cutting her lightly and tasting her blood again.
"Wait for me right here...I will be back soon and we can leave..." he hissed into her ear, not before leaving without forcing her into a deadly dark kiss, now he was going to aid his follower's, though as good of a job they were doing from keeping the vamp from getting anywhere near them...he was becoming highly annoyed and agitated as he moved from her, summoning his own blade to his side.
"I'm tired of hearing your whining Joachim..and haven't you heard..it's Azmodeus now." he snapped, approaching the battle as Loa had just bitten the vamp, Valkon's crows scratching away at the outnumbered one.
"Loa..Valkon...you've done well...watch the goddess while I take care of this whelp myself.." he growled low, waiting now for the fight to go down to the two of them. Cinderfae Content with a bite at the vampires side Loa let herself fall away, a low growl in her throat moving out of the way of Azmodeus as he prepared to fight the vampire. Falling down and away she fell toward an unburnt branch moving along it toward Kita, favoring her wounded side as she did.
She looked toward Valkon and his birds waiting, knowing that she did not have the strength if Kita decided to use her powers against her to do much. She doubted that Valkon would be much help either when it came to the goddess...she hoped that the beast god had her as in hand as he believed.
Snarling slightly Loa eyed the lores, wounded already she wasn't in the mood to fight off more of what answered for the light. iStoleYurVamps Joachim chuckled as he saw the devil return to fight him. "Finally going to fight me, Azmodeus?" His hissed the word, like it was an insult. "I grew since we fought last dark thing...we shall see who is a whelp." He took a fighting stance. "Even Gods can be killed." He ran at the dark god, aiming to run him through. Eftemie Valkon signaled the birds off Joachim as Azmodeus approached. He moved with them to the side of the goddess his Lord wanted and had enthralled. But looking to Loa, he understood she'd been injured. The crows glanced hungrily at the lores when he squawked.
He wasn't going to question why Az wanted this goddess. There must be something interesting there, though he could not tell what. Perhaps he was simply too young still to care for that stuff. Soon they would be back at the castle and working on things again. There were still options and he liked the crows. He would have more. Azmodeus Bloodmyth "Hn...I barely took notice, nothing about you has changed since the last time..." he growled back, tail swaying slightly as he smirked faintly as well, fangs gleaming as well in the dim moonlight.
"You might have grown...but you are still too weak to kill this beast god.." he snapped, letting the vamp have the first move, humoring him as he moved in a delay, the vamp's blade cutting deeply into his side between the bone armor that covered it.
Countering the hit the young beast, swung the sharp end of his bladed tail to the vampire's back, blade in his hand slashing at his side as he rushed passed just trying to run him completely through. iStoleYurVamps Hissing as he knew one of the two connected, Joachim chose for his arm, spinning out of the swords way, but not entirely. "Even gods can fall from grace." Gathering his power, he send a magical blade at Azmodeus. "But, you have no grace what so ever."((how long will they fight?)) Azmodeus Bloodmyth (( Ehhmm..just a few more posts, about five more posts I think from each of us at most. ))
He chuckled low at the terrible choice of words, holding his blade before him as the enchanted blade came at him, the blade bounded of his own, flying still at him as it gashed his cheek deeply, his forked tongue slipping to the wound, licking it before he readied for another attack.
"Feh...grace...I don't know what your babbling about when such a thing could matter less to me..." he growled low, bounding towards the vamp, feigning to swing with his blade, moving at the last moment to slash at whatever his claws could catch of the vampire. iStoleYurVamps Falling for the freight, Joachim wished he had seen the obvious ruse. "Grace is needed to be a good ruler. My time as lord of my lands taught me that!" he swung at his again, trying to his his face. Eftemie Valkon watched carefully. At the first sign he was needed, he'd send the crows in to get into Joachim's way. He wanted Azmodeus to take home his prize. That being Kita, and he'd not let a vampire who was too stupid to see he was on the wrong side stop that. They would make it through the portal with her. Even if he lost his birds.((This is the last one for Valkon unless he's directly affected also. )) Azmodeus Bloodmyth He growled low, now the combat was close as he was hit on the same cheek that had already been cut as he immediately retaliated with a swift series of jabs that was followed by a left hook before he spun and slammed his tail towards the torso of the vamp.
"Ha...I don't recall saying I wished to be a 'good' ruler...I prefer the route of a tyrant...a god of chaos..the beast of destruction....which is the whole reason why this land is in such ruin!" he roared wildly, wiping his cheek of the blood that was falling all the more from the second hit.
"...and without even my darkness...you wouldn't have the desire for blood, to kill or any of those sinful pleasures...but I'm sure you noticed that..." iStoleYurVamps "I never wanted to be what I am...." he hissed as he managed to dodge the attacks. "But I will not fall to my own darkness!" Joachim summoned his blade again, lashing as Azmodeus's wings.
((Night!)) Azmodeus Bloodmyth ( s**t this is my last post..I can barely stay awake, we can finish tomorrow though when everyone is back ))
"Cry me a river b***h....you just fail to realize the incredible power that comes with being a beast of darkness..."
He growled low, having missed, thrown off by such a midirected attack as he felt the membrane of one wing being cut into before he snapped back, wings flaring back as he lunged for the vampire, mouth open as he aimed to snap his jaws onto the vamp's shoulder. EvilMadness666 ((fell asleep at the computer desk last night and missed all the fun crying )) Aramon was just leaving Kita's house when he thought he smelled smoke but it was so week that he dismissed it at first and then he thought he heard someone shout so he looked to the sky and saw dark smoke floating in the clear blue sky. He froze and looked in the direction it seemed to him smoke was coming from starting to run and praying it was only a normal forest fire and not something more serious. '' They couldn't have attacked already. It is just too soon and not possible. Oh please prove my fears to be wrong. '' He thought as he run. Oh his way he managed to find an old branch that could prove to be useful if needed. He wished that the others were. Though they all scattered not long after Kita left.
When he came to the spot where the shouting voices came from he saw a sight to remember. Joachim fighting a ghostling he never saw before and two more sitting by Kita that had a distant look almost like she wasn't here. He was standing not far from them but still he had some distance to cross to get to any of them and seeing that Joachim was able to keep up with his opponent he thought he should try to get to the goddess.
'' Hey Joachim you could have told the others of this party and not keep all the fun for you're self! ''
He looked back at Kita and the two ghostlings that were guarding her. At least it seemed like that to him. And the more he looked at the situation the more he disliked it.
'' You two get away from her so that I won't have to hurt you! ''

Battle for Kita Pt. 3 02.09.09
Sadi Sidhe Hikaoru, out scouting, had been hearing what sounded like an argument in the distance. A very loud argument. Idiots. I thought they had finally realized, we can't be divided in this. Their head shot up, however, at the clash of blades. They knew people had been discussing finding weapons and practicing, but this did not sound like practice. This sounded like all out battle. Looking up, they saw smoke in the distance. They was about to sprint towards the area the smoke and sounds of battle were coming from, when a sudden wrongness hit them. They stumbled, falling to their knees. They shook their head, trying to clear it, and knew only one thing that could have caused the wrongness. Something was wrong with Kita. Standing, they ran. iStoleYurVamps Joachim cried out as he felt fangs enter his shoulder. "I am a beast of darkness, but I am not a monster or a freak!" He growled, trying to claw out Azmodeus's eyes. "I am a vampire! A noble blood!" He looked at the one who called his name and hissed. So long as he didn't interfere with his fight, Joachim cared not. EvilMadness666 Rosenrot woke up from her sweet dream. She was so comfortable in the shadows of her old home she fell asleep. She cursed herself and went to scout the area for the others and quite soon she was standing at the door of a strange tree house. Not aware of what was happening not so far away from her she knocked on the door wondering if someone was still home. Azmodeus Bloodmyth A beast? A Beast?! Oh gods...that was too funny even in the spur of adernaline in the moment as he kept his mouth clamped tightly around the vampire's shoulder, having dropped his weapon with wings flared and tail whipping as he immediately went from Joachim's wrists before they could claw at his face, hissing low as he began to use his brute strength again the vamp, ripping mouth from the vamp's shoulder with a piece of Joachim's clothing caught in his fangs.
"Beast..you are no beast...like I've said before..if you were anything of a beast of darkness..you would be more like me!" he snapped, twisted smirk on his face again as he began to laugh , still holding on to the vamp's wrists before he jumped upwards, sending a kick towards his face, letting go of his wrists as he did so.
"...freak..that is what a vampire is, and noble...there is nothing noble about having to live off the blood of the living like a parasite!" Cinderfae Loa heard the yell of the other light, apparently someone was finally taking notice. Her eyes flashed to look over the inferno below; the fire in the forest was growing as no one had bothered to tend to it.
Ignoring the light for the moment she moved over closer to Kita, even though wounded she was prepared to distract the new arrival if needed. She knew that Valkon cloaked in the form of a crow was still nearby to aid her should it be needed, he and the crows he had taken within his grouping. Watching Azmodeus disengage from the grasp of the vampire she hurriedly looked toward the spot he had started to pull the portal together in before. With or without Kita she knew soon they would be heading home, now there wasn't much time left but she prepared to escape. EvilMadness666 Agramon started to charge on ghostlings guarding Kita taking his chances with the wounded one with a strange mash on her face. he swung his stick aiming for her head. ((well I hope I did it right)) Cinderfae Loa twisted her attention as the stick flew by harmlessly, snarling faintly she shoved off toward the other ghostling. "Bad idea, stick boy." She snapped toward his neck using the momentum he had created along with her own to attempt to bite and tear at the offender. Mediciner In the midst of the uproar of battle and - at last, she thought - the arrival of several comrades, the Whispling took it upon herself to quietly slip just on the fringes of the battlefield. What was Kita doing?! One minute she was a herald of storms whisking her away from danger, the next a whimpering "kitten", to use the god's terms, being collared like a bad pet. And now Fangface was jumping into the fray like he alone could stop the dark Ghostlings - by his words, Merrill could assume this was a grudge match of sorts. Well, she could work it to her advantage. Hopefully either her appointed guardians were either a little tired from their encounter with the vampire or someone else would engage their attention soon.
Creeping quietly from above, the Whispling attempted to catch eyes with Kita, frowning intensely as she made slight movements that indicated her precarious position. Wake up! Merrill was trying to say. Snap out of it!
And yet again while something important was going on, the twins were lost. They had never so much as touched the Versathul Forest before and, encountering the same problems Merrill had, found that they were going about in circles or just plainly flying blind. It didn't help that out of the blue a lightning storm had occured, striking the trees once with a crackling bolt of energy that sent the young boys fleeing in the opposite direction in fear, then the scent of smoke and fire, and after that voices and clashing sounds they deonted to be battle. As spies, neither were willing to confront their appointed enemies just yet, so the twins hurried on -
- Right into a giant tree. Dimitri was the one who nearly collided with the colossal thing whilst they were in the instinctive save-your-hide mode, and after calmed down it was Milo who noticed the indention of a door within its trunk. Perhaps they could find someone there . . . The dark-haired charm dragon nudged the entrance open and together they shuffled in, heaving pants and brushing sweat off their brows from the exertion of their flight, both still tensed somewhat as they stepped forward into the home. |~| Lulz! *playing catch up* I guess the dice is partial. X3 |~| iStoleYurVamps Crying out in rage, Joachim twisted his body, missing the kick. "I am no freak!" He grabbed his injured shoulder, knowing that it would soon bring him more pain once the adrenaline was gone. "I am a predator...I kill to live...but I do not kill for fun!" Ducking his body, he aimed to sink his own fangs into the god's arm. ((Sorry its a bit lame. My muse went AWOL)) Eftemie Valkon glanced around at all the ones showing up. He wondered what to do. Az's orders had been to guard her. How did he do that with so many coming at them now? His orders were to guard her, but he felt like they were in the open. Too open. They needed the advantage. Az could take care of himself better on his own turf. He had no doubts about that and even with the boost of power from Az they would all be at risk. And his Lord's prize would be too.
The portal was forming. Formed! And Valkon blinked. He squawked loudly, driving the crows into the air, his thoughts cast towards only Azmodeus and Loa. *The portal is open, Lord! More arrive!" The crows he ordered towards anyone trying to stop them and he turned. He fully intended to shove Kita through the opening if needed. He hoped that Az would retreat to fight another day. Azmodeus Bloodmyth (( Lol bite fights! ))
His mind was wild with the rush, always enjoying a fight..even if he had been managed to sustain a few hits. He had missed, and with the position of his arm he felt the fangs pierce through his arm, tensing up as he growled low in pain...but a low laugh in his throat soon ensued as if he was losing his mind. The pain was enjoyable and he furthered it by pushing his own arm harder against the vampire's fangs, wings flaring open as he twisted his form enough to place his feet on the back of the vampire, his unbitten free arm pulling and gripping his hair tightly as he smirked and hissed in the vampire's ear.
"I suppose that is true..even when we were once..dare I say..'friends'...you killed but two and nothing more..what a bore of a lifestyle you choose to live by.." he chuckled again, tail arching itself as the blade aimed to drive through the vampire. EvilMadness666 Agramon screamed in pain. Things were not going as he planed. He tried to get lose of Loa's grip by hitting her in her wound hoping to get her of him. Azmodeus Bloodmyth (( Sorry, couldn't edit the other post ))
In the moment though, he had failed to notice all those of the other side beginning to approach, now taking notice as he kept steady with what he was doing. Speaking through his mind to his follower's, lest anyone of his kitten's followers dare to follow as Valkon's words caught his attention.
'Go now...I will seal it after you take her through, I am nearly done here after all...and I will join you all shortly. EvilMadness666 Rosenrot got tired when no one answered the door so she went in to look around. She was surprised when the twins came inside.
'' Oh hello there. Do you by any chance know where we are? '' xAugustinex ((Your rolling luck sucks Evil XDDD)) Neither Cecil or Rosalin liked being pushed aside like that, but they dared not attack Azmodeus again while he was in a battle with the vampire. Seeing that Agramon wasn't doing too well, they could only do what they were best at. No not hiding, headbutting. Going as fast as their small bodies can take them, they ditched their silver leaf to headbutt Loa where she was wounded. It had to hurt right? Even if they were puny, it was like salting a wound.(woops I did a roll, not a number. It doesn't matter though right? XDD...)) Mediciner |~| That's sweet of you, Elf! ^^ *tosses a luff* |~| Things weren't looking good, she couldn't grab Kita's attention in time . . . She watched as one of the dark followers unleashed several birds, ducking behind the trunk just as one of the cacklers zipped past. Fidgety, on edge, and ever unwilling to sit idle for too long, Merrill decided impulsively it was time to try helping out - even if she couldn't do too much now.
"En guarde, Bentbeak!" was the Whispling's battle cry as she darted from her hiding spot above and plummeted towards the bird.
Dimitri started at the sound of a voice and, with Milo's protective body just a little before him, addressed the Ghostling pleasantly. "Nope. We were hoping you could tell us. Is this your house?" EvilMadness666 Rosenrot giggled. IKt seemed they were in the same position but the twins didn't remember her. But then again it wasn't surprising since she was hiding the most time she spent in her new home away from the others.
'' I'm afraid not. I came here through portal just like you two. '' Eftemie Valkon didn't hesitate at Az's instructions. He shifted shape to that of his normal self as his birds continued flying around and distracting. Moving forwards as quickly as he could, he shoved Kita forwards into the portal watching the darkness close over her as he himself leaped through. This was even better than stealing her book. Although he might return for it another day. The crows were on their own.
Once in the darkness, he pushed the goddess to a place that the darkness was particularly thick. If anyone of light came through, they'd both be obscured. She belonged to Asmodeus. iStoleYurVamps As he felt that balde tail run through his gut, Joachim gave Azmodeus a sad smile. "Friends...so far we have fallen. Or rather..." Pulling his body from the tail, Joachim aimed to sink his sword through the god. "How we have grow apart." Grunting in pain, Joachim fell to his knees unsure if he would be able to continue. EvilMadness666 With a little help of lores Agramon managed to get lose from Loa and jumped to catch Kita trying to get a firm grip at her tail or her legs at anything that could hold her from slipping deeper into the portal. Ol-j-man |~| From what I can tell, Merrill leapt at Valkon before his post, followed by Agramon getting enough help from Syuu's lores so that he leapt to try and catch Kita's leg to keep her from being pulled through, which is also what Hikaru's doing while the other part Kaoru heads into the portal. Joachim and Az are engaged in their own battle right now. |~| Dimitri blinked as Milo slapped his forehead with a small groan. Apparently the blonde one really was . . . well, blonde at times. "Me sorry! I didn't see you at the temple church place," he quickly apologized. "I'm Dimitri, and this is Milo. D'you think we can find something here? I heard lots of noises nearby, and the weather got all weird, so iunno . . ." Cinderfae ((back, speed read. Trying to catch up!Loa pulled back growling, as the lores hit her wound. Crying out she attempted to grab one and throw it to the side. Hearing Valkon she looked to the portal speeding toward it and attempting to help him push in 'Horns' as she does. Hoping to find her escape as well, the lights it seemed had finally woken up. GunSniper Chronos had been waiting near the portal with a wide grin on his face after his last task was finished. He stepped to the side as Valkon and the goddess emerged back to the dark side of things. With his scythe firmly in both hands he waited for any trespasser to cross over. To the right of him thirteen of the strange clocks hung from a cross Chronos had set up just before perching near the portal. Each ready to be used by the followers of Azmodeus. xAugustinex ((D'aww Loa just couldn't throw the cuties away.)) "Go attack that crow child Cecil," Rosalin shouted. She than bit down on Loa's wound, determined to try and pull off some damage or at least stall for more time."Be careful!" He floated forward. He would not let them take their goddess into the darkness. He much rather die than to let this world die. "Unhand Lady Kita you foul things you!"x___Doctor Ruri Lestat, whom hadn't caught up to the fray in time, arrived to see it nearly over. He blinked in shock, and growled as he saw two lores going after Loa, headbutting her and latching on. He wanted to become allies with her, knowing that her powers could rival his own and possibly many others with time. She'd be a good ally to have, to be sure. Launching himself at one of the lores, he opened his mouth, albeit smaller than his previous living form but still equiped with the tiny formidable vampire fangs, and attempted to latch onto one of them with his fangs, scratching and biting all the way.
"Away from her, you urchins!" he hissed, finally going in for the bite to dislodge them, if not drain some blood for his own benefit. Who knew what drained power from a lore could do for a vampire? But really, his main objective was to help the wounded Loa evade them. If he could, he'd drain as much as he could from the Lore biting down on her. He was pretty sure his fangs were much sharper than it's teeth and would hurt quite a bit more. Cinderfae Loa growled at the annoying Lores, "bloody pests!" She let the sound of chattering bone come from her in almost a cry of anger as she watched Lestat move by missing the small creature as well.
"I'm going home, since your so keen on coming as well," Loa made a grab at Rosalin and a dash for the portal. Intent on dragging the lore in with her unless it managed to break free.((lol waiting on Az or Kita to say where Kita is...not sure how much effort the action should take xD Azmodeus Bloodmyth (( It's a tug of war, until now. ))
He growled low, feeling the blade run through him, ear's twitching as his arm was released and pulled himself free from the blade. Eyes gleamed darkly as he landed on his feet behind the vamp. The wound it hurt, more than he dared to show as his looked down to his opponet.
"...I don't know how that was of any signifigance, you could say we were only friends for a day..." he hissed with a faint chuckle, the struggles all around nearing it's end as the fight between the two came to it's end with the forest still on fire. Without kita there to put it out, it would be up to those follower's to come and extinguish it..or let it burn.
"You choose the wrong enemy to have Joachim." he hissed one last remark, turning his back with his fangs slightly bared at the burning pain in his body where the blade cut him through. It would heal..but for now it hurt like a b***h as he spread his wings and went to aid his follower's with the tug of war that was going on between his kitten and her follower's.
"You are all too late..." he hissed, Grabbing onto Kita, propelling him and all who thought to hold onto her down with him into his realm. x___Doctor Ruri Lestat growled as he missed the lore, following Loa closely to the portal to make sure the Lore had something to deal with if it managed to get off of Loa. If Loa couldn't take it back, Lestat would try. Best to show up at home with a hostage, rather than being told he hadn't helped at all. He noted to himself to give Loa a little vial of his blood to drink once back at home. Vampire blood had healing qualities, or so he'd learned from Armand, if given in tiny doses. Not enough to turn you, but enough to make your wound heal. Armand had always used it to cover up the bitemarks on corpses. It would surely work the same way for her, wouldn't it? He hoped so.
But for now, he followed her and the Lore, hissing and baring his fangs, his eyes flashing in a highly threatening way. Just waiting and following. Perking up, he smiled, seeing his Master capture the goddess. Well, no matter now. Catching up to Loa instead of baring fangs at the Lore attached to her, he bolstered her up, trying to steady her.
"Loa, hang on and when we get home, I'll try and help you, ma chere'." he whispered as they followed Azmodeus.
((Yay for no attacking, but looking adorably threatening. :3 Aw, Lestat's got a friendie. >3 )) Sadi Sidhe ((Ok, let's try this again... lol))Seeing the goddess pushed through the shimmer by the dark god, they ran towards without thinking. They were not sure what they could do, but they would have to try. A plan forming in their cunning consciousness, they split at the last moment, a move of desperation, that gave them no time to think of what this could do to them. Hikaru, in the shadow body, stayed behind, hiding so none would know they had split, while Kaoru, in their real body, went through the portal. Mediciner |~| Shoot, I knew it'd be an error on my part! I meant for the post to be relaying that Merrill was going after Valkon himself past all the crows, and silly me was thinking Valkon was somehow in bird-form himself. *bad memory as far as re-reading past posts* I apologize profusely everyone, I suppose the least I could do would be to have Merrill smash into the ground and miss Valkon, unless he's up for fighting with a cottonball.
. . . Or not! Smashing it is! |3|~|
Whump! For a not-so-corporal being, hitting the ground sure hurt! through the rattling in her would-be ears, the Whispling heard distant caws and felt several talons rake at her, at which point she rolled away with a loud growl, flicking smoke down their open beaks to make them cough and sputter as she tried to get away. A little senseless from the crash landing, she only heard a small collection of what was going on around her: large blurs towards a hole in the air, a darker visage tugging the goddess thruogh with a triumphant hiss, several followers following the call; even one of the blobs that had leapt bravely into the fray seemed attached to the sull lady . . . Oh jeez, it hurt to think at all.
"Get . . . get back here, you cowards . . . I didn't get to fight . . ." The murmurs went unheard of course. EvilMadness666 Agramon managed to catch Kita's tail and for a brief moment he was an anker that held her but as Azmodeus grabbed her and pulled her into the postal he ended it it as well. He cursed his bad luck. In a meantime Rosenrot was still looking around the house she was in but now with a help of twins. She smiled to them when they met and introduced herself. At least now she knew some of the ones facing the same destiny as she did.
'' No luck there aren't any books here. Maybe we should head back and see if others had more luck. '' Mediciner Dimitri went along without heeding her words, bright eyes wide with awe at teh strange collections within the tree-home, contenting hiself to draw near the roaring fireplace with a wide grin as he hummed to himself, continuing his search. Milo followed after with a slight shrug towards Rosenrot. "Go if you want. We just wanna check the place out some more just in case." Who knew what any one of these places held? As spies, it was their duty to look under every rock, search every cranny for any sign of information that could prove useful. xAugustinex She flailed angrily, not quite happy where this is going. But that didn't mean she had lost. She bit at Loa's hand multiple times, hoping that the ghostling would drop her.Cecil stopped his pursuit on Valkon. Everyone else was going after them and the stolen goddess. But seeing as his mate was in trouble he rushed forward, tackling Lestat. He wouldn't let the Whispling stop Rosalin from escaping. iStoleYurVamps Watching his goddess and her master go through the dark portal, Joachim felt helpless. He had failed to protect both her, and this world. Looking around him at the smodering forest, he growled. "You would destroy anything that is beautiful...." Grabbing his sword, Joachim hissed as he got up, his wound making every breath pure agony. Looking around, he serched for something, anything, that would heal him. Untill he saw the other ghostling. "Blood...give me your blood." He growled out, fangs growing over his lip. "I need to heal..." Miroke ((Lets see if I can jump into this >w<; )) Lori Lie goes flying out of the fuzzy chair butt first and lands on the ground HARD, a** sores iminent. "NOT A CHAIR!!" Lie yells lying on the ground. She was quite roughed up by now. Her poor dress ripped, bruises forming on her arms, her shoes worn out and her feet roughed up, her hair was a nest of cobwebs, and her hat had a stain. "I HATE THAT PLACE" Lie cries out completely lost.Cinderfae Growling Loa let go of the lore making for the portal without another thought, "lets leave them, we don't want to be left behind." She hissed toward the whispling that was attempting to aid her. Loa then made a dive into the portal, those chasing would have to follow into the shadows. The battle it seemed was over and the beast god had gotten what he wanted, she just hoped he actually could handle it.((>.> the Lores are still too adorable. Sadi Sidhe Hikaru staggered as he pulled out into a shadow body. As his head swam, he saw his other half go through the portal. Good luck. he thought. I'll be waiting. It was his last thought for a while as he blacked out.((I gotta go for the night. See y'all later, don't have too much fun without me! And if someone would carry him to the house, Hikaru would be grateful. xd ))

Aftermath WIP
This leads back to the balcony tower after the battle for Kita and is the return from the first portal.Cinderfae Falling into a heap Loa rested back her eyes half closed as she rested against the wall of the balcony. She looked over toward Chronos clocks and quirked a brow, "for the prisoners?" her voice was a harsh murmer as she spoke.
Stretching out some she winches, the sword hit had sliced her side and the annoyance of the biting Lore had left it's mark as an annoying sting over her hand. She then looked over toward the others, frowning she realized some had gotten left behind - her suspicions rose as she realized Rosenrot and the twins were gone...the ones she had dubbed possible spies or weaknesses before. Sadi Sidhe Kaoru fell through the portal, the forces, combined with the sudden separation from his other half, causing him to black out.((I'm off for now, see you all later!)) Eftemie Valkon moved back leaving the goddess to Az. He glanced up over at Chronos. "You've been busy while we were gone." He smirked, then glanced at the goddess. "So have we."
When Loa landed with a plop, Valkon glanced over at her. "I hope you bit him back." He stated it matter of factly as he watched her. "You fight pretty good. Maybe I will when I'm a bit bigger. And have more shapes to use."
He glanced up at the crows flying overhead. Maybe his two would find their way here. Maybe not. Whatever. There were plenty of them flying about. He'd find others if he had to.
xXStrait Jacket GirlXx Always shoot for the Moon... David hissed as the portal shoved him back to the balcony. The force of which it threw him out caused him to be pinned to the ground for a few minutes. When he finally came to and rose he swore feverently. What he found on his return home was something that spiked his anger and it didn't help that being so away from his twin Cut his own strength down to half and ws only full with the power bestowed upon him by Az. ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.
Cinderfae Shooting a glare over at Valkon Loa shook her hand out slightly the tiny bite marks from the lore stung but were not as bothersome as the cut on her side, "not that one, I did bite the one that got my side though." Making a slow growling sound she pushed herself up to a standing position, "I think the vampire is attempting to play biting games with the lores still." Loa went to move but then stopped feeling woozy, growling with a slight bone clattering sound she ripped part of the skirt of her dress off and pressed it against the wound on her side.
"Horns here better have been worth it," she was grumpy, being stabbed didn't settle well with her, looking toward Chronos she nodded toward the clocks, "we should get those on the prisoners...one already passed out. Might as well get him since he can't resist right now."
Loa frowned slightly at Valkon's statement, "the vampire didn't even notice I was there...and I hit him in the face and bit him. I need something more," her eyes flashed looking over the balcony a moment, "I need to finish some work before we continue on with this." Eftemie Valkon watched Loa a moment. She had taken a beating where he'd had the crows helping him. He almost felt sorry for her, but not really. She was crazy. Well, psycho was what he really thought of her. "I should..." he began talking as he moved towards the watches to look at them closely. But then the whispling stopped shaking himself. He felt strange suddenly but he did not know why.
A shudder ran through him again and he wondered briefly if some stupid lighter had done something to him without his being aware. A faint creak was heard and then a second and third rip as if something were tearing. He shook himself again looking around. Things appeared to be getting slightly smaller around him. The watches seemed to be shrinking and all these off sensations were sliding down over him.
Strangely there was a breeze running over his body as if... The thought slipped away from him as he heard an even louder tear as if something were too small for what it was holding. His entire body felt odd and he glanced down at his lantern suddenly seeing feet below it. Surprise slipped through his expression as he stood there wriggling his toes with curiosity. But then he realized that there was more. Several purplish tails suddenly appeared attached and giving him the weirdest sensation as they wiggled around. But then he blinked and understood. He was growing and his lantern was ripping.
"Ripping?!!!"
"Oh crap!" he blurted out, staring at Kita and then Loa. He blinked at Chronos in surprise starting to say something but then made a mad dash from the balcony towards his rooms. Still holding the lantern, at least what was left of it, Valkon streaked through the hallways and into his own room. Nekkid. He was entirely nekkid and with Loa sitting right there. Had this happened to the others too? He had to find some clothes and quick. Valkon's Library wrote::Eftemie Once in his library, he moved his hands as the last of the lantern dropped away. With a sigh, Valkon moved towards the wardrobe in the smaller room to look for usable clothing. He shuffled several things around thinking he did not need dresses. Those he'd get rid of. Maybe some of the others would need them. What he was looking for was something to suit him. but did he know what he would like?
Growling slightly, he shoved even more aside until he came to a pair of black shorts. Holding them up, he contemplated whether they would be the proper size or not. He'd have to adjust them for the tails, but they would work well enough he decided. And he liked the white stripes on the bottom of them. It took him about ten minutes to proper fix them to accommodate the tails which he noted were fluffy and soft. He rather liked that about them and they curled around behind him.
He had hair too and pulled a strand forwards staring at it a moment. Darker violet at the top and a pale blue at the tips. That was interesting also. His tails looked the same. Darker closer to him and pale at the tips. He needed a shirt of some sort or a coat. It was then he pulled a coat with a split tail from the wardrobe. It was all black and he liked it a great deal, but it would need something.
It took him a bit of time but he removed the sleeves. They were too confining for his liking. And stealing things needed nothing that would get caught. He would find something to add some color to it. It just needed... something. When the black and white striped fabric of the shirt caught his eye, he grinned faintly. He liked that. He could use it and soon it was wrapped around his arms from the elbow to wrist. Holding his arms out, he smirked. He liked that too. It was different.
Moving to the one box he began searching for baubles of various sizes and colors. He tried to decide how to attach them to the front of the sleeveless jacket. It took him some time to find something to stitch with. At first he was unsure what to do but then he figured out how to pull thread from another garment and make a length of thread with which to sew. A thin piece of metal forced a hole through and he looped the thread around the stones sewing them securely to it.
But as he moved away, the old black hat he had first used as a bag stared at him from the nearby table. A hat? He studied it a long moment before moving towards it. He liked it when he placed it upon his head, but it too needed something. It was then he found the wide black and white checked ribbon hanging from a garment. Wrapping it as a band around, Valkon tied it off in the back. It was just barely long enough to fit and he finished by tucking the ends beneath the band. Tapping it lightly, he reshaped it a bit before placing it on his head.
Now to see what he looked like. Glancing around the room he decided there really was nothing to look at himself in. So he began tossing things around. As he shoved, pushed and pulled various things out to look at them, a cover fell off something in the corner of the room. But then a faint flash of color within it caught his eye and he moved closer. It was a mirror. Old, cracked, and the silver backing coming loose but he could see himself through the middle portion quite clearly. A smirk settled on his face as he looked himself over. He liked what he saw. The black suited his purplishness. But then he frowned. The clothing felt somewhat familiar. Why?
For a moment he tried to find the memory that seemed to drop down over him. But then it passed and he sighed. He'd have to figure it out another day. A few moments later he was back in the hallway and moving towards the balcony. Az would most likely have orders for them. Cinderfae Loa paused her eyes widening slightly as Valkon started to grow, blinking a moment she smirked as she realized he was using his now almost non-existent lantern as something to cover himself with.
Leaning slightly she turned her head to watch him scamper down the hall his tails the only thing covering his bottom. Laughing she shook her head slightly at the sight, after the day she had she needed the laugh. Sucking in a breath she winced holding her side, amusing but painful in her current state. It seemed Valkon would get a chance to see if he was more potent in battle with this growing. Eftemie Fully dressed now, Valkon moved back to the balcony quickly. He wanted to make sure that there was some help incase too many lighters showed up. He was sure that the portal would be closed. As soon as they had enough trapped.
He glanced over at Loa, eyes narrowed. Normally he would have tipped his hat to a female. He blinked. Would he have? Had he done that before? Shaking his head, he growled as the memory slipped away from him. "I keep trying to remember something important but it keeps dancing away from me. Are our memories supposed to do that?" It was a distraction at most from whatever comments she would make. Azmodeus Bloodmyth He descended slowly, wings outspread, the clean cut in his wing stinging against the frigid air just as he missed the sight of one of his minions growing. His eyes were closed, holding Kita in front of him with his dark power, the unseen force wraped around her, constricting her in her dazed state as he finally landed on both feet hands out in front of him. He did take note that Valkon was gone..but maybe he had just gone to get something as he nodded to Chronos with a smirk, seeing the dozens of special little gadgets made for those prisoner's they brought back.
"Ah...let us see just how well they work then.." he spoke, lifting up one to place and secure Kaoru here along with them. But first, he placed Kita down onto the stone, now lifting Kaoru's limp form as he hung the clock around the winged cat's neck, creating a dark aura around the face of the intricately designed gadget, binding it to the soul as it seemed to come to life, ticking from within as Kaoru's prison sentence started.
"Grand...absolutely grand.." he mused, very impressed as he sent Eclipse to carry off Kaoru to a particular room he had devised to keep all those who fell unluckyily here..soon to refer to it as the cage room.
He tempted the idea to put one around the goddess...but even he knew he didn't need such a device to keep her here as he moved to her again, moving the hair from her face as he chuckled darkly, tail swaying.
"You have done well Loa, and now that we are back..allow me to cure you of your pain.." he hissed low, looking up to her as he extended his hand towards her and her wound, a dark hued aura surrounding the palm of his hand as well as her wound, creating a soothing coolness which stopped the pain as the blood stopped flowing and it began to heal. It would take a bit for it to completely heal, but at least she wasn't hindered so much as he soon felt his own wound pulse with a sharp pain...having forgotten all about it.
Ah..it didn't matter now...she was here in the hell they had been cast out to, here with him as claws glided down her cheek.
"Kitten...look upon your new hell.." Kita Etheria Bloodmyth She was only half there, tho the longer he focused on the others, the more she came to. In a quick moment her eyes started to clear, her ears pinning as she hissed at him and pulled away, snapping at his hand much like an animal would.
'What have you DONE!?!?!' she growled in anger, tail lashing as she finally looked around at the others. She almost felt like an adult among children. 'Are you INSANE?!?! I cant survive here!'Azmodeus Bloodmyth He mused, tail swaying as she came to..but not before biting his hand which he allowed her to do, letting what of his blood fall on her tongue as he showed a pained smirk as she spoke her outrage. Nonsense...
"You know what I have done...and you know better than that...you can survive here..." he hissed, approaching her, disapproving of how he was child size to her...how they all were now that he thought about it. No matter...he would bring her back to him.
"You know I will not let that happen." he smirked again, creating the collar between them both much easier here in his realm, tugging lightly on the chain.
"....you can't so long as I continue to live." Kita Etheria Bloodmyth Tasting the darkly sweet blood her eyes started to cloud again, just faintly. She closed her eyes tight and turned her face away from him, snarling as her smaller sharpened canines bared. Her hands balled into fists as she slammed the darkness down, her claws tearing into the soft flesh there.
'I will not be yours again... I would rather die... I will not stand by as you kill everything I worked so hard for...'
She wanted to pull back, but she knew better, she could feel the collar, the heavy chain that weighed on it, tying herself to the beast. 'I hate you...'Azmodeus Bloodmyth Oh..did she now? Did she hate him as she so claimed? He narrowed eyes, growling low. She didn't mean any of that...oh he knew she meant nothing, she was simply being defiant as he hissed, jumping up from the ground he hovered behind her, hissing darkly into her ear, pulling her back into the lulling darkness.
"...you do not mean any of what you say...hating me.." he hissed low, feeling a little stung by it nonetheless as his claws drove down her skin,
"Hn...and though you say you won't be...I can deeply assure you..that you will be again..." the young god finished, biting into her neck as he began to pull slightly at the chain on their collar's, beginning to direct her into his estate.
"...and you know they all deserve it...they all deserve to perish..none have proven grateful for your protection..nor do they seem to care their own world was in danger...so let them fade without their goddess so that we can all return to our home.." Kita Etheria Bloodmyth Her ear twitched at his closeness, at the hissing. Her face flushed lightly as her eyes started to cloud again, despite her fighting to slam it down. A soft whimper escaped her lips as she was unable to fight back. 'I.... I do...' she winced a bit at the feel of his claws, about to try to pull free her body weakened as he bit into her. Her ears flopped to the sides and another whimper came from her as she swallowed hard, her eyes now pitch black again as she moved into his lead. 'Master please... Ive tried so hard...'Azmodeus Bloodmyth He chuckled darkly, leading her away from the balcony as he continued to hover beside her, running his finger's through her hair tantilizingly. He nodded slightly, knowing she had..but she couldn't do everything on her own...and if any of those light follower's wanted to ever see their goddess again...well...they would have to start acting as a team like his own follower's had and do just as an exceptional job as they had for him.
"I can only imagine...but nothing can take you from me...only you know through their efforts as a team can strip you from this realm and bring you back to them...but..they hardly deserve you.." he hissed a last time before disappearing with her through the tall doorway. GunSniper (( Apologies for the late posting guys. I had to get out for a bit... )) Chronos waited until the portal was closed before moving to place the clocks around the necks of the prisoners, Kaoru being the first as this one would be the easiest. With that watch around their necks they would no longer be able to feel the light of their goddess. And, as if something was holding the clock in place, it could not be removed by anyone but Azmodeous himself.
He looked over the wounds of Valkon and Loa. "It seems you had a grand time in the light." He grinned and watched the wound heal over by Azmodeous' power. "Oh, your attacker's efforts in vein..."
He continued to note the prisoners and hand them a 'gift', even as valkon started to change his shape and grow in size. When the transformation was complete he looked over his shoulder at Valkon. "Charming hat..." He chuckled with his usual grin and focused again on his work.
He was also most amused that Azmodeous had claimed his prize, but said nothing as the goddess and the god interacted with each other. EvilMadness666 Agramon lost the grip of the goddesses tail in portal and because of that he was the last to come through it. His frustration grew when he saw his goddess disappear in the big structure standing in front of him and Kaoru cough and taken who knows where. He looked around only to see dead by time destroyed land and three ghostlings in front of him. Two of them he didn't know but there was one that he could recognize he looked at her with the look so grim and wicked he wished it could kill.
'' YOU!!! ''
His scream filled with anger echoed around him sounding more like animal growl than actual words. And he pulled back to the edge of the balcony as far from them as he could. He was determined to fight to his last breath no matter the odds. Cinderfae Loa stood more steadily as Azmodeus' power gave her strength, stretching somewhat she let the bit of torn dress fall to the ground. Giving a bow to Azmodeus in thanks she let him see to his prize. Catching part of their dialogue she shook her head slightly to herself, "I see why he calls her kitten, I'm wondering where she found the strength to originally throw us out." Loa frowned thoughtfully as the Beast God and Light Goddess moved toward the castle, there was more to the Goddess then met the eyes - and she had seen some of her power. Though her Lord seemed secure that Kita would not attempt escape, she would keep her eyes and ears focused. The goddess was too dangerous to take too lightly.
Moving out of the way for Eclipse she started looking back over the tower for signs that any others had followed them, grinning faintly she noticed the now dressed Valkon returning. With a chuckle and clattering of bones she exaggerated looking over his clothing, "not bad, but it covers that cute bottom I saw running down the hall earlier." She laughed faintly again and went to curiously touch one of Valkon's tails but stopped hearing the yell from Agramond, they had it seemed missed someone.
Rolling her eyes in annoyance she looked over toward the light sider, "seems your lack of thought has left you trapped here - alone. Banished as we were," Loa gestured toward the castle, "your goddess doesn't seem interested in helping you either." Grinning faintly she glanced toward Valkon and then Chronos, "best get a clock on him and send him along with the other."
Grasping one of the clocks she moved foward going mostly intangible as she attempted to grapple the light long enough to slip the clock over his neck. She was confident that Valkon and Chronos would be there to help if the need arose. ((can't seem to roll a random number in guilds? I'll go make an ooc post in the main thread and then post the results here. Edit: Only got a 10 xD so she misses on the grapple. Eftemie Valkon nodded to Chronos, a smirk on his face. Touching the brim of the hat, he replied, "Better use for it than a bag. I like it." He might have to find some other hats and change up from time to time though he was quite certain this one would suit him best.
He growled at Loa noticing she was reaching for his tails. Gnashing his teeth slightly, he grumbled even more at the thought of her secretly pulling hairs from his tail to use in her weird fetishes. If she did, she would pay.
When Agramon landed in front of them, Valkon snorted and grinned widely. "Another one to the party." Understanding what Loa was doing as she moved, he focused shifting shape to crow in a matter of seconds. It was so much easier now and he felt much stronger than he had in the light world.
Jumping into the air, he cawed to those flying above him. Surely some would answer his call to them. Some did. At first two stopped turning lazily, but then dove downwards towards where they had been instructed. Then a third appeared drifting downwards. All three birds attacked with Valkon attempting to knock Agramon from his feet to allow Loa to place the clock on him. Once it was on, the point would be moot. Az would have to let him go. Until then he'd be a good slave or a silent one at least.((Yup, I can't use the random either. I'll edit in a moment with the results from the shop thread.)) edit:: (( LOL only got 6 So it was a miss on knocking him offbalance. Chronos, your turn lol. XD )) EvilMadness666 Agramon managed to dodge attacks from Loa and Valkon thanks to his cat reflections. He would be damned if he would let them have it they're way without the fight and after all he still had some unfinished business with Loa. His neck still hurt.
He shot a globe of darkness at Volkan in hope of clouding his eyes and getting rid of him for next 3-4 minutes. GunSniper Chronos dropped the clock he had in hand and gripped that hand on his scythe. Using the top of the blade he pushed it forward toward Agramon hoping for enough force to launch him off the top of the balcony. "You...." He mocked back at the ghostling with a grin.
(( EDIT: GunSniper generated a random number between 1 and 20 ... 3! Epic fail. XD )) Cinderfae Muttering Loa spun looking for the cat ghostling, hoping into the air she gave herself a little bit of momentum to fly toward him. The clock outstretched attempting to get it around his neck.
"Keep being annoying if you like, but keep in mind...your at our home now. Your goddess isn't going to help you and you have no where to run." Eftemie Valkon growled seeing the shot of darkness coming his way. He wondered if he could still hit this troublemaker, but then as he moved so too did one of the crows. One of them was bound to get hit and he muttered under his breath again, but never stopped moving. Most likely it would be him. He was going to really smack this guy in a minute. EvilMadness666 Agramon was glad when he saw his spell successfully cast surrounding the crow but he didn't change it's course of flying and before he knew it crashed into him along with it's followers making him fall hard to the ground. He rolled away to catch the breath and get a better position to launch his next attack.
'' Interesting you should say it is three against one and you still can't handle me. ''
With his body screaming from pain he tried to strike Loa's stomach with his ram horns. GunSniper Chronos recovered quickly from his horrible miss of his target. Goat boy had some skills, no doubt. But if they could only get a clock on him. That would help greatly in calming this wonder down. He held his arm back than chucked the scythe at Agramon and darted toward him. Upon leaving his grip the scythe returned to a raven's feather and drifted calmly toward the ground.
Chronos hoped that that would provide enough distraction for him to get the ghostling in a tight enough headlock, than Loa might have a better chase at getting the clock around the guys neck. (( GunSniper generated a random number between 1 and 20 ... 18! )) sebasraos ((AAAAARRRGGG I missed the whole battle. It was between 1am and 4 am of my time ¬¬)) Svorak froze up as she noticed that for some strange reason she was not in the other side, she was now somewhere in the dark realm, she thought for a while that the imprisoment kita made was perpetual and could not be broken, but then he saw Az holding kita like it was his pet, and some other ghostling she never saw before, the air was tense and it seemed like a battle was taking place, her half souls hissed in anger as they spinned around her; It wasn't hard to say what happened, but what happened to her? why she could not get back into the world and instead she just jumped the timeline?... well there was no time for that, and she didn't care about... she just took a predator stance and growled with her voice like choir as she prepared to jump over one cat-like ghostling that was fighting against Loa and the one that looked like a grown up Valkon. What the heck happened here? ((Hope this time I can fit into the story... damn timezones I hate 'em)) Cinderfae Loa flew back and hit the wall of the balcony with a loud 'thud', dazed a moment she snarled at the horned ghostling that had hit her. "Your going to make this painful on yourself," it took her a moment to get up, she could feel the ache through her body from the hit but at least Azmodeus had healed her so it wasn't as crippling as it would have been with the blade wound still.
Seeing Valkon hit Agramond and then Chronos finally locking onto him she got up. Holding the clock in her hand she walked over and simply slipped it around his neck. Glaring slightly before stepping back, "lets get him to the cage with the other one." She wasn't speaking to anyone in particular but decided they had better move him to the containment area and let the beast god deal with him.((looks good sebasraos smile

Aftermath Pt. 2 WIP
Eftemie Valkon growled unshifting when he landed into the lighter. "Stupid lighter," he grumbled trying to untangle himself and all his tails without getting them stepped on by the others. He could not see clearly and in frustration he crawled to the side. Rubbing his eyes he sat still listening for what the others were doing.
This lighter had a big mouth on him. "I think he gets toilet duty for the next... well a really long time! Stupid lighter!" he growled in frustration but then it occurred to him. And he blinked, shaking his head in exasperation. "What's a toilet anyhow?" Ol-j-man The two shot out just as the battle was being put to a finish, barely a hair pulled out of place as the interdimensional warp sewed itself shut just behind them. Approaching it from the wrong angle, the twins found themselves not on the balcony but rather in the air before it and, had they not wings, it would have been a disasterous fall. As it was both Dimi and Milo let a small sigh of relief escape them as they turned about to assess the situation behind them: currently that it looked as though one of the light siders was being subdued. Azmodeus was probably somewhere in the castle by now too, then, they imagined. Maybe there were other prisoners?
At the moment, though, Dimitri felt rather horrible in that they managed to accomplish nothing. Yes, they managed to escape the eyes of the light holders in their short time in that delightfully colorful realm, but as spiesthey had failed to gather any new information. Though the young wyrm boy was happy to see that at least something had been accomplished, he grew anxious at the thought of what Az had to say when all he had to show was the bouquet of flowers he had at whim took from the forest as they flew. It was also awkward in that neither took the time to get to know the others, a policy of Milo's that was proving very detrimental as far as Dimi was concerned. Even as his twin took his hand to pull him away from the fray and back to their towers for rest, the blonde boy resisted momentarily in order to at least congradulate their fellow dark siders.
"Hey, you guys got someone! Nice! And toilets are those things humans use when they need to go to the bathroom," Dimi explained cheerfully, hoping he could mask his embarrassment behind a bright smile. EvilMadness666 Rosenrot came in behind the twins and well she was surprised she found herself in the air rather than on solid ground. With a small scream she started to fall with her two tails waving behind her.
'' Help! '' Ol-j-man Even with acute senses amplified by Azmodeus's power, it took Dimitri a moment to realize that the furry-tailed girl had followed behind them just in time and, to his dismay, plummeting down below. Quickly he zipped after her and grabbed the first thing that came into his free hand (the other still holding on tightly to the bundle of fresh flowers) - this was one of Rosenrot's tails, at which Dimi winced with sympathy. He couldn't imagine someone tugging him by his own, it hurt way too much. Unfortunately the blondie was having problems trying to stay afloat with the new weight to deal with, at which point Milo - having followed close behind since he never strayed far if he could help it, muttered something dark under his breath as he took ahold of the bakeneko's hand instead and began to pound his wings. With an apologetic laugh, his twin followed suit and took ahold of the other one.
"You 'kay?" Dimitri asked as they both began a concerted effort to drop her off properly on the balcony. "That was close, huh?" sebasraos Svorak saw Valkon and Loa as they were sent fliying by the cat ghostling so she ran where they were to check if they were ok, getting ready to fight back with the cat ghostling.... but Svorak lose it from sight as well as her halfsouls Eftemie Valkon turned slowly at the intrusion. His eyes had cleared finally and he stared at the twins as he got to his feet and the bouquet of flowers. A snort of derision slipped free and then other one that appeared in the air helplessly. He made no move to help her but simply folded his arms. She did not deserve anything from him. Turning his head slowly, he saw Loa had the watch on their enemy. The lighter was going nowhere. For now.
"And where were all of you? Picking flowers?" he snapped at them, eyes narrowing as he stepped towards them. "I did not see one of you helping at all. Our Lord gave orders before we left, did he not? Did you do anything at all? Find anything out? You don't even know what we have done, do you?" His eyes were disgusted with the three of them. He was not going to inform them that they had the goddess herself and two of the lighters.
"Caught someone? We more than caught someone. You figure it out for yourselves. Maybe we should put you on toilet duty too. Or even worse. Bah! At least the stupid lighter knows how to fight!"
He was thoroughly disgusted by the bunch of them. Loa might be psycho but at least she was tough and fought. Chronos made watches but he was pretty good in a fight too. Even Svorak without knowing what was happening had moved to help them instead of waiting to ask questions. Turning to Loa and Chronos, he said, "Let's get him in the cage."
EvilMadness666 Agramon tried to get loos from Chronos but he was tired ad every inch of his body hurt so as soon as Loa managed to get the clock around his neck he felt even more tired and soon gave heavily breading. The only thing alive and in motion were his eyes full of anger.
'' This is not the end of it. Mark my words. '' Rosenrot was glad when she stopped falling even if her tail hurt. And even more glad when she felt hard ground beneath her.
'' I think I am. Thank you. ''
She froze as Valkon yelled at them. They had only came back so it wasn't strange she didn't know what was going on. She looked in fear at the one that was captured and let a whisper leave her mouth. She recognized him and was glad to see him but she couldn't understand why he was captured and how did he managed to end up as her enemy. She just didn't want to accept that fact.
'' You... ''
And returned her eyes to Valkon at a mention of a toilet duty. She didn't understand on what he meant but to her it sounded as a terrible punishment. She hang her head looking to the floor and shyly said.
'' We were looking for a book in some house and when we came back the fight was already over... '' sebasraos Svorak walked with a supremacy air in her steps, even when she knew she didn't do anything to capture this threat.. when she got near, she looked with anger at him and spoke as her half-souls hissed in anger against him and her aura glowed blood red... You better shut up, we'd defeated you.... You dared to banish us from the world, you should suffer right here, we should rip you apart for that only act of conspiray against us. Svorak was mad in anger, and about to explode and start kicking the cat ghostling Cinderfae Loa sighed slightly and shook her head, "and you missed the forest on fire it seemed. I hope you have something to report to Azmodeus with," She studied the three with a slight smile, before glancing to Agramond and then Chronos and Valkon. "Lets get him moved there now," Loa turned on her heel no time for those that sat idly as she had a feeling that they had very little information to offer.
Taking a moment to look at Agramond she grinned somewhat, "consider them marked."
Pausing she searched out Svorak and offered her a nod of thanks for her attempted intervention though it had been at the end. "Lets keep at least a few with him to the cage, he's a fighter though not much of a thinker since he let himself be dragged through the portal."
Loa prepared to descend the stairs with the others and set there prisoner within the cage. x___Doctor Ruri Lestat finally got back, only to find he'd missed another fight. He sighed, shaking his head. At least he was full of sweet blood though. He'd let Cecil go, leaving the Lore weakened from so much bloodloss, and had come home just before he was locked in that other world forever. Or at least until someone came to get him with a very long lecture or harsh whipping. Looking to Loa, he licked the last of the blood from his lips, cocking his head as he saw her wounds for the most part healed. Floating over to her, he nudged her apollogetically.
"Loa...ma chere....is there anything I can do? I'm sorry I showed up so late, that Lore was putting up a struggle, but at least I drained him as much as I could before I got home. I don't know what became of Joachim's bloodlust....I didn't stop to find out. Vampires like to feed on vampires when you're really hurting for blood....can I assist YOU though?" he questioned softly, almost considering mental speak with her, but decided against it. He wanted to hear her voice right now, to make sure he was back home. He'd almost missed it, even if he knew they had the goddess in their custody now. He felt bad for letting Loa and Azmodeus down twice, but couldn't for the love of himself know why. Loyalty? He ususally didn't take to people so quickly, though.
Perhaps it was more the situation that was forcing his usual loyalty/friendship patterns to speed up a bit? Perhaps. Either way, he could tell that Loa had been taking a beating lately, and wanted to ease things for her. Perhaps just a little of his blood to give her a pick-me-up? It wouldn't change her, just revitalize her, and give her full energy back no matter how much she was healed physically, she had to be tired. He could alleviate that much, he knew, and he mentally pushed that idea at her for her consideration.
Cinderfae Loa paused a moment when Lestat caught up with her, growling slightly she looked toward Agramond the hit in the ribs from his horns along with her torn attire must be making her look worse then she was.
"Azmodeus healed me, he has the ability it seems while we are here." She turned slightly so Lestat could see that although her dress was ripped in several spots her wounds were healed. "Took a beating in the ribs after that though," she glared toward Agramond as she spoke.
At the mental push of the blood sharing Loa froze her eyes narrowing to watch Lestat a moment suspiciously. He had just arrived so he hadn't seen Kita's example of why sharing blood with another could cause so many problems. With her own practices it was a binding agent, after a moment of watching Lestat she decided the vampire didn't realize the power and weight of the though and likely wouldn't know how to use it. Her lip twitched slightly but she kept from remarking upon the whole thing, such knowledge was best kept to oneself if those nearby didn't understand it.
Instead Loa tilted her head slightly as if to say thank you but not now. "If you are heading in, we could use others to help escort this one to the cage." She motioned to Agramond as she spoke, "he's less spunky now that he has been collared. sebasraos Svorak stared at Loa... but she managed to calm herself a little... and grabbed the cat raising him to a standing position and putting her face close to his You've been saved.... you b*st*rd.... next time nothing will save you from us... Then she dragged him behind her towards Loa and Lestat Can we start moving? ((Sorry, going away for tonight...)) Eftemie Valkon continued to push Agramon forwards from beside Svorak. He glanced at Lestat and Loa, nearly smirking. Both were crazy. Whatever it was they were planning, he was to tired to care. And even if he had not been, Valkon still would not have cared at all. He simply wanted to get to his room.
"I'm tired. After we get him there, I'm disappearing for awhile." He stated, glancing back at the crows still on the balcony. Watching them as they watched him, he decided that perhaps he should make sure there was a way for them to get into his room. If they were going to help him then he would make good use of them for other things. But some training first. They would need that.
Shadzcat At the sound of condescending reprimand from Valkon, Milo's head whipped around to him and his knees bent into an instinctive fighting stance. A small, sharp fang protruded from beneath his upper lip and his bi-hued eyes narrowed as anger quickly intensified into nigh uncontrollable fury. The world had narrowed down to two beings in his mind: him and Valkon. Though he had yet to have shown it in his wariness to get involved with others before, the darker twin didn't take well to being talked down to. In fact, within seconds of Valkon opening his mouth, a complete transformation of his wary character seemed to have taken place. The child's sharp nails had extended slightly and his body quavered with how powerful his rage was within him, and the feathers of his wings grew agitated.
"You didn't see us because we were spying, you stitch-faced idiot!" He spat, his voice cracking briefly as he began speaking, the harsh words sounding very strange when yelled in a pre-pubescent voice by a little boy. "And in case you don't know what spies do, we don't get caught and try to find people to ask questions, so it would have been stupid for us to come back to fight!"
Disregarding entirely that he was arguing with someone on his side that could probably beat him up, he went on recklessly, "You think I can't fight, huh? Eat this, you big-hatted butt-head!" Okay, so that was really juvenile. But then again, Milo was young even by human standards, and his insult repertoire wasn't very vast. He didn't really think ahead much when he got passionate. Instead, he followed his instincts and dived down at the other Ghostling, aiming to slash at Valkon with his elongated nails. [o.o.c: OH THANK GOODNESS. *flops into the guild* My computer wigged out so I couldn't post earlier. I'm sorry for taking so long to reply! ;-; My phone only lets me check up on the threads, not sign in (annoying thing that it is). Forgive me plz! Milo's Roll is an 8] GunSniper Chronos released the prisoner as soon as the clock was on him and the fight was out. "Oh, come now. You'll have lots of fun here." He chuckled as he walked to where the feather had fallen. Quickly he snatched it back up and re-created his scythe. The time it took to make it was getting less with each re-creation of the beloved weapon.
When the juvenile spat his silly words to Valkon, than charged he stuck out his scythe so that the pole would nicely obscure the path to the other ghostling. "Fool, save your anger for something else..." He grinned in amusement. Truth be told he also found Valkon's and Loa's company to be most fun. It would be a shame if something bad were to happen to them... Cinderfae Growling slightly when she saw Milo dive at Valkon Loa stepped over attempting to deflect the charm dragon in his dive toward the other ghostling. She wasn't going to harm merely push him off course, as she did her voice raised angrily, "STOP NOW, bickering we will accomplish nothing. If you attempt to harm each other you are allowing those that left us to die to win. If we do not cooperate no one will get out of this and we will truly just rot away; not because of the light goddess but because you are attempting to act like children."
She scowled at them from behind the bright skull on her face, "make sure you speak to Azmodeus he'll want to know what you found - if anything. But do not attack those that are your allies, save it for those against us." She didn't bother adding that the had the goddess with them, she'd let their lord inform them when they went to him to report.
She looked toward Svorak and then to the rest, "lets get the prisoner to the cage and stop squabbling." Sadi Sidhe Kaoru awoke just in time to hear the Dark God's words to Kita before they were taken in different directions. There is hope then. I have to let them know that there is hope. He continued to pretend to sleep, biding his time. He felt an odd weight on his chest and neck. He could barely feel his other half, which should not have been the case, even worlds apart as they were. His ruse almost failed when he realized he could no longer feel the light of the goddess, except as the faintest of echos through Hikaru, and then only if he concentrated his hardest. It was harder than he could have believed, being separated like this, but it had been their only chance. They had told the others they were not telepathic, and that was true - except where the other was concerned. The bond between them was strong enough to span even worlds, and that was what they had been counting on. For now, he would bide his time. It was easy to slip back into darkness while he was carried away.((on the slowest computer ever, with an even slower connection, so I may not get many posts out tonight. I miss all the good stuff! *pouts*)) Eftemie Valkon shook his head as he whirled around to stare at Milo. His crows were up in the air instantly. He stared for a long moment as Loa moved and Chronos moved.
"That would be why I prefer animals most of the time. " he voiced quite clearly, winking at Chronos in appreciation after staring at Loa a long moment. For a psycho, she was not too bad. Turning away he shoved Agramon forwards. "Let's go, lighter. Your cage awaits." Azmodeus Bloodmyth The bright golden eyes were ahead, yawning as she floated along with her stomach faving down, guiding the one called Kaoru down. She hadn't been paying much attention to whom she was holding..which had allowed the cat to slip from her, but just for a moment. Where she didn't have the immense power Azmodeus did, she was practically his highest slave..or at least one that had a mind to use the powers she had been gifted.
"Ah...nownow, that wouldn't be very fun if you could get away so easily my friend!" she giggled, stretching her hands out towards the being just before he could phase out completely, clutching them as a dark aura surrounded the cat's form, reconstricting him back into this world as the clock around his neck began to work it's own magic as well..her own effort not even truly needed as she tapped her chin.
"...I'd enjoy keeping you as a pet, but Az wants you caged up...I never ge to have any fun anymore..." she sighed, mumb;ing to herself before resuming in pulling along the cat.
Oh they had been extrememly lucky he had just barely missed the squabble between the newly changed Valkon and Milo fr whatever reason. But what he did find was a miffed Valkon and Milo..as well as the scorning words of Loa as she warned them both of attacking those of each side. Oh he didn't need that...not from his followers. Although there was doubts, there would always be doubts in the sense...he felt he could trust each of those who followed him, at least for now...so deep in his own self-image as a god, though in essence...he was a created god..not a born one. Perhaps that was where his corruption laid...with the desire for more and more power.
Ah, but his anger flared just at the mere thought off a bickering between two of his own as he soon returned after leading the goddess to where she would rest here in his home. Flying above the doorway, he saw Valkon..not even recognizing who it was since the appearance had change so greatly..but the colors however gave him away. His eyes were upon Loa, and then Milo as he growled low, eyes narrowed as he took the prisoner fro Valkon, holding onto Agramon by both horns, dangling him above all the others..after all..they didn't know where the cage room was, and everyone looked like they had just been through a scuffle..assuming that either they had just all had a brawl with each other, or this light being was the culprit.
"What went on while I was putting the goddess away." he growled low, voice already demanding an answer lest they all get on his bad side for the indescretion if they didn't speak up quick. GunSniper Chronos leaned on his scythe as the god approached in a foul mood. No wonder. his minions, or rather minion, lashed out at his own kin. He returned the gesture to Valkon by nodding his head slowly than looking up at Azmodeus. The grin was now far gone from his face and he looked rather serious. A rare sight for this kistune. "My lord, this little one," he gestured his scythe toward Milo. "Lashed out against Valkon. Loa and I were only trying to keep him from making more of a fool of himself." His ears were perked forward and his tail remained still out of respect. Cinderfae Loa sighed slightly, Azmodeus' arrival didn't happen at the best of times but it could have been worse she decided. "The second prisoner," Loa gestured toward Argamond, "put up a bit of a bit of trouble." She ran her hand over her bruised ribs, "tensions were just running a bit high." She looked toward Milo with a glare, and then to Valkon. Dragging out anything that the beast god would find worth his while to become angry at, it would just lead to distrust amongst everyone; plus she didn't want Valkon to meet Azmodeus wrath for his words to the two beforehand.
"I do believe that the twins and the meek cat have returned to report to you about their spying," she gestured toward where Milo had landed, and then Dimi and Rosenrot. She at this point hoped the three had something to distract Azmodeus with information wise.
Loa looked toward where Svarok had been manhandling Agramond and then to Azmodeus, "we were actually just going to secure the last one in the cage..." Eftemie His crows had long since settled down when Valkon had turned away from Milo. They simply watched and listened as he turned towards Azmodeus. "It is as Chronos and Loa have stated." Valkon admitted as Az took Agramon from him. He briefly wondered what Az would think of their flowers. His words had been the truth. As he saw it. When their Lord was fighting, they should have come running to back him up. Even if spying, they should have moved to help. They owed him that much.
"And that one, Lord," he indicated the lighter in Az's grasp, turning his attention there. "He's tougher than he looks though not too bright to charge in as he has." EvilMadness666 Agramon moved his tails form one side to the other. He wasn't happy someone held him by his horns and even less for the fact he was in the sky. His body was in enough pain already. So he crossed his arms on his chest in act of protest.
He was amused by the little show Valkon and Milo prepared though and he soon was looking how he could use that in his advantage. If they were so easy to get mad at one another he could do a little damage here even though he was a prisoner. That is if he will be lucky enough to manipulate with them a little. He looked at his opponents form they're little fight with a little smirk talking to the one that was holding him.
'' I must say you have fine followers you must be very proud of them. Three of them were needed to put this fine piece of jewelery around my neck and still they couldn't do it from first try. ''
The only advantage of his position was that he had a good view from here and he could see all those that were left on ground and among them a familiar face of small neko girl. His worst fear came true as his hopes that she was somewhere safe back in the realm of light disappeared. Rosenrot could now see the prisoner better and there was no doubt. She knew who it was and wasn't too happy about it. But only thing she could do is at this point was to stare. Shadzcat Though both Chronos and Loa moved to stand in his way, Milo dove right past them heedless of their warnings not to do anything as foolish as this. There was little reasoning with him when he was in the middle of the action, for his mind was of one track more often than not and right now that track led him straight into a thoughtless fight. As he ducked beneath the clock-maker’s scythe and pushed past the voodoo lady, it seemed that he would reach his target of the scathing Valkon and land a blow, but a murder of crows blocked his path. The rush of wings surprised him, and he began to lash out at them in his frustration. He’d tear all of their wings off of those blasted birds if he had to!
“Milo!” Well aware of the volatile temperment of his brother, Dimitri had followed after Milo seconds after the feather-winged twin had plummeted in a furious dive, eyes wide with surprise as he grabbed the snarling boy by his shirt collar, tugging him hard away from the fray before he could harm the birds. Lucky for him, the distressed cry had not allowed Milo to hear Chronos’s remark that would have only driven him deeper into the frenzy. The dark-haired child didn’t come away without a struggle though, and it was the arrival of Azmodeus that only really started clearing the haze of wrath from his eyes. “Milo, please, don’t,” The blonde whimpered quietly in his ear, though his clawed hands kept a firm grip on his arm as the passionate twin who glared with open hostility at Valkon with teeth bared as if he wanted nothing more than to sink them into his newfound enemy. Yet somehow the unyielding hold, desperate pleading, and gentle brush of Dimitri’s wings against his managed to aid Milo in his returning to his senses.
Once he had gauged that Milo was not about to leap at the yokai suddenly, Dimitri turned to Azmodeus and the rest with a shamefaced grimace. Hand still holding Milo’s arm with no intention of letting go, he bowed to the god in respect, his somewhat battered flowers held to his chest in the other hand. “Well, Lord Azmodeus, sir,” He began meekly, praying that Milo would at least have the restraint to keep his tongue in his mouth, “We couldn’t find any people to learn information from in the Light Realm, but we weren’t seen by anyone either.” Having noted that the others had captured Agramon earlier, he tried to lighten the blow of their having no new knowledge by smiling and going on to those assembled, “Um, Congratulations on getting some prisoners too!” [o.o.c: I'm assuming that since Chronos and Loa got lower numbers than him, Milo was able to get past them, but Valkon's crows stopped him before he could attack because he got a 9, right? Obtw, Medz and I are bffs IRL, and she's gonna be busy most of today, so she gave me permission to puppet Dimitri a bit for her. ] sebasraos Svorak bowed at Az, as she still staring at Agramon, and she managed to listen to him... she smiled at him and say with a sweet tone in her voice So... are you trying to turn us againsteach other... eh? maybe you're not so pure from your heart to be from the light side... you seem darker than some others here.... but don't make us shut your mouth... then her tone changed and turned darker ...And consider yourself lucky that we were away... so we personally would have kicked your a** at the first try((To people that maybe don't know... Svorak is a Legion ghostling, she's made of many half souls that share one body, for that reason she have an unstable mood, the voice like many people talking at the same time, and she use to call herself "us" instead of "me" but it can be confusing some times))
