-Shikamaru is 12 and he's collected enough to lead a team of kids into danger to save said person of this conversation.
-Neji is only a year older, 13, he got over the fact he has a seal on his body that kills him (not makes him stronger like other poeples seals) and put himself in danger for the sake of a guy he doesn't even like.
-Chouji is only 12 and suffers confidence problems, he killed a guy to save his friends at that age.
-Lee is 13 and suffered hardship amongst his peers for being inferior in the most basic of ways, then brought himself up to be one of the greatest ninjas and people there.
-Gaara is 12 and has a ******** demon inside of him that wont let him sleep without losing his mind, and he got over THAT!
-Naruto never had a family, was hated by everyone around him for reasons unexplained, and suffered terribly at the one thing that he wanted to do to earn respect. He fought harder for Sasuke than anyone else.
If these kids can make me feel respect for them for their sacrafices to help another person, then Sasuke isn't except for his age. He's old enough to know the difference between right and wrong. If he's willing to take a life, he's willing to take on the other responsibilites of being an adult.

However I think this whole thing is to blame on Itachi. xD! Sorry, babeh! *glomps kori*
But if you think about it, what drives all of those kids? For Naruto, what drives him is his love for his friends, right? Well what drives Sasuke is his hatred for Itachi. Think about it.. If your entire family was killed by your brother and he told you to get stronger so that you could kill him, would you do it?
I think it's obvious there's still some good In Sasuke.. If you're refering to the manga, that is. Look at that fight he had with Naruto.. he couldn't finish him off. We all know he thought he had but he didn't do it and also he felt bad after you could tell.. So even if he's with Oro-kun now there still might be some maturity there o.O;;
After all Sasuke's goal in life is to kill Itachi. He has no need for friends. Maybe that's why he's so emo all the time? Hell I'd be emo too if my brother killed my entire family.. but I think after a couple of years of letting it sink in and letting myself cope with it, I'd be okay.. or atleast not as emo and stuck up..
It's hard to place Sasuke on that scale when you think about it. Naruto isn't like Sasuke. He didn't have a family or any friends. But neither did Sasuke because he didn't want them. He had a family, one he loved very much until Itachi came out one day and decided to kill them. You can only imagine what a tragedy that would be for you at such a young age.
Naruto has been alone from the beginning. There's no way that he could comprehend the damage that Itachi placed on Sasuke. So there's no reason to compare them. You can't compare anyone else in the entire anime to Sasuke because Sasuke is the only character who had that happen to him.
I think Sasuke could let up a little on being such a jerk all the time..
but we all have to give him even just a little leniency as well..
We can't understand what Sasuke's feeling because we didnt' have our entire family, which would be pretty humungous.. killed by our older brother.. so we can't exactly say when he's gone too far and when he hasn't..
The fact of the matter is Death is a hard thing to cope with. Especially if it's a whole lot more than one life. Especially if it was done by someone you were fairly close to. Someone you loved. I can only imagine the depression I'd seep into if that happened. I'd probably go insane. Death is handled differently by everyone.
If my brother killed my entire family, including aunts uncles, everyone as Itachi did.. killing the entire clan, you know I'd wanna go and kick his a**. I'd want to kill him and I would probably spend my whole life trying to do it. What would you do? Wouldn't you want to get revenge? Wouldn't you do the same?
So when do we have the right to say that Sasuke is going too far with his revenge?
We don't.

We don't. Wow, you know I never thought of it that way *ponder* Great post. It gives me something to think about. I still don't like him that much, but when you put it that way, I can sort of understand WHY he acts that way. Now that I think about it, as much as I b***h and whine about Sasuke's behavior, I've never actually expirienced anything he's gone through at 12-15, so why should I judge?

Even after I think about all this, I still don't like him. But, I can have sympathy for him.
I'd probably do the same thing if I was him. (Except for the weird hair. ) ;-;
But, I think that he should have put all that anger to a better reason. Like helping charity or something. Not becoming the angst king.

Like they said. If he's old enough to make killing Itachi his top priority then by all means he's old enough to know he isn't the best guy in the world. No, it isn't wrong to hate young children, insanity and evil beavior/angst/ bitchyness isn't reserved for those older than 12. However, there is usually a reason for children to behave in an inapropriate manner, making them more of a tragic villian than evil villian.

He is immature, selfish, wants all the attention. There a lot of reasons to hate him.
