Uber Cosplay Guy Ville the Wizard dont donate to the guild donate to the guilds mascot. we will decorate our house where we will have meetings, our guild car, and the avatar itself. I'm not going to lie or beat around the bush, but that sounds really shady, man. A lot like you want us to upgrade your house, car and stuff. I mean where exactly is the "guild avatar"? Yours? Oh and I'll warn everyone right now, deleting this post and or banning me rather than replying politely won't do any good.I'll have it all screenshoted as soon as I click send and I'll be reporting it to the Gaian admins if either happen. I simply wish to understand this better, not looking for a fight. Because , frankly, one would think logically that the home will have to technically belong to one person not the entire guild, as it isn't allowed on gaia for more than one user to access a home and make modifications and such. Same with cars and avatars. I'd also point out that when and if you ever delete the guild all the gold and stuff bought will probably stay with you and not be given back to the donators either, huh? Ville doesn't run our mascot, I do. The money goes towards member of the month right now.

ok but that still doesn't answer the rest of my questions... actually all that did was correct me in thinking Ville ran the mascot, which I DO thank you for correcting me on. But, nevertheless, Mule or Mascot, what's the difference, really? How do we know we can trust whoever owns the house , car, and mascot with being truthful as to what they said they'd use it on, and what happens to all the donations if the guild goes under?
The fundamental thing to remember is when working with a group of strangers you need to prove your trust. That is why collateral was created for loans in the real world. I know, obviously, that wouldn't work in this scenario. but there should be some other means to prove it, no?
If you can prove your trust to me I may have all sorts of things to donate. I DO have 7 accounts and have been here since go-gaia almost.
Look, I know it may look like I am being a jerk, but I just need to look out for myself and make sure I am not taken advantage of. I've been abused as a martyr in the past and wish to not repeat it. I REALLY DO wish to donate and such - I just don't wish to be screwed over for it.
>.< Ugh I don't know if I'm making my point or confusing things ; ;

The proceeds don't go to my account, if I wanted them to I would set it up directly from my account but instead I told people to send it to our guild mascot. That way the money goes to member of the month, which is another thing to prove my point. Once member of the month is selected they will receive all of what is on Cloudslaststand. Another thing, Ville has the password to Cloudslaststand so he can check up and make sure I'm not dipping in. I have no need for the guild mascot's money. At the moment it's only about 30K. If I wanted gold that bad, I'd go buy more gaia cash and get some repo lamps. I do a lot for the guild, and I'd like it if some of you appreciated my efforts more by participating in some of the events I put out. So far, I have the lottery running, Member of the Month running, my mafia game running and I have hardly any participants in any of those. If you don't want to donate to the guild mascot because you're scared of being jipped, then don't do it. You can at least participate in the other contests.

Ah ok. But why not just stick the gold on the guild account itself so we can keep track of what is in there?

Don't want it to get confusing between the many events you got going on for it, I am guessing?
And as for the other events, I am still new to the guild and haven't read everything on even the first page yet. I saw the mafia game thing but the name didn't sound like a link i was interested in. When I clicked the lottery thing I had JUST JUST joined and not even done a post yet, so was kinda still confused as to how everything worked. And I voted in the member of the month and plan to help out with that soon as well. Just had to be certain my own criteria was met, you know?
I never meant to offend anyone, I just wanted to be certain I fully understood how everything worked. Kind of like reading all the fine print on the lawyer documents for court.
One final question, I'm allowed to trade gold using an outside-of-guild account, right? As I said I have 7, and these two are mostly broke atm.

you can't take the gold out of the account, that is the point here. i am not saying that this is bad, i am saying we can't use your money you are donating.
now if any one has a problem, don't make some one look like a a**. message me, i am getting sick of people calling me out. does it look like my avatar ever changes???? if i was taking your money, one that say's you don't have trust in this guild or in the crew or in me. and two please message me if you have a problem, you made sukuya a person who works super hard. Feel really bad.....

I think we can trust Sukuya, GAH If I spelled it wrong I'm sorry, since she does so much for the guild.

stare *slaps Ville around with his ears a bit* Snap out of it, man! You are simply too busy irl to get to everything all the time, and then there is the drinking thing, but I, from experience, know that not every drinker has problems functioning and thinking, so you might be like me in that area.
BUT! if you aren't, just make one day a month (like the first of every month) reserved for being sober and looking over the guild.
that gives you a chance to manage things correctly and spend the rest of the time on gaia chillaxing and the rest of your time with your lady and friends and job ^^
