(OPEN!!!!!!) Blayd iskander sat on the side of the road, reading a book called "the 12 tasks of Heracles" while the other young men took part in various sports. blayd of course enjoyed those sports, but he longed for something more, the life of a hero. as a child his mother had filled his head with stories of theseus, bellorophon, Heracles, etc.. he had also been told that he was a demi-god of sorts, but different. he didn't know what to make of this so he kept on living until an opportunity presented itself, and it soon would. he closed the book after reading of the slaying of the hydra and got up, walking towards the local gymnasium

Pandora sighed as she lifted another man's purse. Stealing from these people was way too easy! She wanted a challenge or at least someone to throw her daggers at! Was that so much to ask for?

Calli Tarlo walked off the bus. Nothing like sneeking onto public transport to start the day, she thought sarcastically. She was going to the gym, she felt like getting some one-on-one time with the punching bag. She noticed a boy with a mythology book as she walked in. She paused. "I could've sworn I've seen a book like that before..." Huh, Did I say that out loud? She shook her head and walked into the gym.

Pandora saw the boy and girl talking and decided they could be good targets. She began to wander by them but stopped when she realized they were talking about Herakles.
" You like Greek Mythology? I didn't think anyone actually still liked it." She then began to wander off but not without stealing the girls wallet. She had to make a living somehow.

"Thank you" She said to Blayd looking at the bold face letters on book's cover. "I'll definatly read it."

Pandora glanced back over her shoulder and threw a smile at the girl. " Ditto! My favorite myth is the birth of the Twins and the birth of Hermes." She then sauntered on out of view of the boy and girl before heading back to her little home. She didn't even bat an eye at the fact that her mom was passed out on the couch dead to the world. Not like the woman was her real mom anyway. Pandora sighed she had been abandoned as a baby and shipped off to different foster homes since she could remember. It really was a pain. The only good thing was the social workers didn't argue with her about her daggers anymore pinning them to the wall once and they said she could keep them. Where was a challenge!

Calli walked toward the gym and reached for her wallet for her member pass, but noticed it was missing. Goddamn it! She thought, I doubt that I would have dropped it, someone must have stolen it... She couldn't help but feel a slight sense of irony in it. The only thing of value in the wallet was her I.D. card and gym membership card. Well no big loss. Whoever stole it must have needed it pretty bad, I guess I'll have to find something better to do with the day. She walked over to a bench by the park and began to read the book that the nice boy gave her. Hmm... Heracles, huh?

Pandora glanced into the wallet and pouted nothing interesting in there. She'd have one of her friends return it back to the girl when she wasn't looking. She also realized she needed to be more careful the boy had seen her. That wasn't good but at least he hadn't tried to hurt her. That's why she carried Daggers to protect herself. She had seen what happened on the streets to someone without protection so she had gotten daggers and taught herself how to use them. She couldn't help but hope she ran into that boy again soon he looked like he would be fun to spend time around. Anything beat coming home to this place.
