Dante nodded as he walked up the stairs towards the front of the HC. He pointed up the stairs to the right. "Up there are all the rooms, while you are here you can grab whatever one that's free. Should be obvious which one is mine." He chuckled a bit and pointed up to the left at the intersection. "Over there is the kitchen, the 'living area' and a small workout room. Kitchen is on the left, living area on the right and the gym is straight through."

He kept walking forward up the stairs towards the more forward area of the HC, "Here is cockpit, pretty self explanatory. I will just put in the destination that you want to go and set the autopilot." He hit a couple of buttons on the console causing the HC to slowly lurch forward.

He waved his hand to the left area, "There is my mini fridge as I tend to spend a lot of time here. This place can hold up to 4 Zoids and enough rooms for each to have its own pilot living here. Its a pretty big place and pretty empty when you are the only one here." He shrugged thinking back to his old friends that used to sometimes stay here.

"There used to be two people that would travel with me every so often, both of them Zoid pilots. Brother and sister, have no idea where they are now. They came and left randomly, we were all rogues just kind of trying to make a living. I am sure you know how that is." He sat down in the main seat and turned grabbing two beers offering one to her.

"Take a seat and relax, we got a while till we get anywhere. Want a beer too?" He popped open his and took a sip enjoying the taste of the liquid. He looked down the stairs listening for the sound of his machines. They were still going, he knew it would take a while. It seemed this Zoid had some strong armor that would make it difficult for him machine to fabricate them.

Aeris did a long drawn out sort of meow happy that he even responded to her. She nodded as she relaxed there, she understood not liking being cooped up. Sometimes though it was necessary though so she took this time to relax and enjoy her time alone and peace of the area. She felt the lurch of the HC as it began to move and this was one of the main reasons Dante left them harnessed so they wouldn't crash when it moved. She flexed her wings a bit allowing some of the fluid in the hoses move a bit. She tilted her head looking at SkullGreymon, he seemed nervous and normal yet frightened her a bit at the same time. Was he a good or bad Zoid and was the pilot good or bad?

Dante took a swig and looked around his bridge area. "Well that sounds like a good plan. As for no one else here, I don't know to be honest." He thought and just shook his head. "People come and go, I normally work alone. Though if someone wanted to stay here and work together I wouldn't really have a problem with that. I would just have to get to know them better and be able to trust them. Thats hard to develop." He nodded and shrugged then thinking about actually getting to know people.

"So where are you from and how did you come across your Zoid?" He looked down into the hanger area and noticed that his machinery was finished. He could go down there and put the armor on but he was enjoying it here.

Aeris shook her head and yipped a bit happily seeing that he was doing well there. She wished it was easy for them to speak to one another. She hadn't ever tried so she didn't know if they could talk to one another. How would she go about doing that, maybe communications or binary. Is that possible to transmit like that to another Zoid? She thought on this a bit staring at the ceiling in her own world temporarily.

Dante smiled and nodded, seemed like the same type of thing with him. Then a thought just occurred to him, he couldn't believe he didn't just do this earlier. Would have been so much easier with everything. He leaned over and grabbed a walky talky that seemed kind of small. "Hey Candy, Rain and Night come on up here."

He waited for a moment and then 3 mini zoids came in. A candy cane striped monkey, a reindeer vitrix and a christmas night based grun. He smiled and waved his hand over to the minis. "This is Candy, Rain and Night my mini zoids. They keep me company but they are also very helpful."

The monkey jumped on the back of his chair and was relaxing there and the grun was now sitting on the arm of the chair while the reindeer was laying next to my feet. "Ok boys, there are some armor plates that should be finished. You will find the corresponding Zoid in the hanger, replace the armor plates and verify there is no other damage."

The minis quickly took off out the door and ran down the stairs into the hanger. Promptly following their exit, Dante's mini, Daiyu entered the room. She waved as she climbed up and sat on Dante's shoulder. She was a female anthro fox in a formal chinese dress.

He motioned to Daiyu, "This is my battle mini Daiyu. Sadly after Aeris was fixed up, she is no longer compatible with her. She used to be able to fuse with Aeris and she became faster, stronger and more armored. It was pretty cool. The software now it seems is not compatible with her. Once Dr. Fox fixes that, she will be upgraded." He nodded and smiled as she half bowed in greeting.

The minis ran out into the hanger and worked together moving each plate onto a hover cart. Then they moved it over to where SkullGreymon was and brought them up to each part replacing each armor piece. After that was done they scurried all over him, under the armor over it checking the wires, hydrolics and all of the random parts of him making sure he was in full working order.

Dante chuckled and handed Daiyu over. She smiled too and said in a very soft voice, "Thank you. It is a shame that I cannot help Dante out. He is a good pilot, he didn't really need my help other than against the Energy Liger." She smiled as she sat there with her legs crossed and hands on her knees. She was very proper and very polite sitting there.

Dante smiled and shook his head. "Oooo that was one hell of a fight. I remember that one. He is tough, he beat me once and I beat him once." He thought back on the pilot and Zoid. "Now that is one pilot and Zoid thats purely evil. I was also beat by a Shadow Fox but he is a good guy. I hope to go up against him again."

Dante looked at the stairs and chuckled again, "Oooo sounds like fun things are happening down there. They should be fine though, they are used to tough Zoids." He just shrugged and took another swig of beer. "So what do you think? Maybe if you talk to Dr. Fox you can get some like this too. These are all experiments, it seems he thinks I am one of his testers. I don't mind too much though, makes my life interesting."

It didn't take long for the armor plates were all fastened to the SkullGreymon and him checked out. They were not bothered at all by his moving and they did their work quickly. They did find it amusing that the big Zoid was so freaked out by it.

Daiyu smiled as she was handed back to Daiyu. "Thank you. I hope you find one too." She relaxed back on Dante's shoulder. It was comfortable up here and Dante had learned how to move to make it easier on her. She was happy though there was someone else here. More importantly it was another girl which was fine with her.

Dante took Daiyu and put her on his shoulder again where she liked to spend her time. "Oh well if you stick around here you will meet Dr. Fox. He calls me up sometime to come back to test something for him. Hes the builder of Aeris so its normally modifying her or Daiyu or one of the other minis." He shrugged and took another sip finishing off the beer.

"Actually I think part of the reason he likes using me to test things is because I commission him so much for everything. I asked him if it was possible to make a small version of a Zoid that could fuse with a Zoid. Like an organoid but smaller and almost a weaker more affordable version of it. That got him thinking, he started experimenting and voila. Here I have Daiyu and a couple other minis."

He smiled and shrugged again, "Oh if you didn't figure it out already, he was the one I helped and gave me Aeris as a thank you. So its pretty much a mutual beneficial relationship. I help give him random ideas, he has me test some of his creations and I get some of the best technology out." He nodded as he reached for another beer and started drinking that one.

Aeris shook her head thinking of how irritated SkullGreymon was actually. She watched the minis scurry around. It was a bit disconcerting the first time they worked on her but you get used to over time. The minis ran up the stairs and Candy climbed up on the back of Marcia's chair and started to play with her hair. Night came over to Dante's chair and relaxed once he was on the arm rest. Rain just jumped into one of the other random chairs in the room and curled up there watching Dante and Marcia.

Dante smiled and took a sip. "Well thats good to hear. I am sure Daiyu would like another person to interact with." He chuckled watching Candy play with Marcia's hair.

"Dr. Fox made each of these very similar to their animal counterparts. Other than the coloring its hard to tell they are Zoids." He absently pet the back of Night that was relaxing on his chair. "They are like my pets just have more uses."

"Seems like your Zoid has calmed down now that they aren't working on him. Have to say Aeris was a bit anxious the first time they worked on her too. I guess it would be kind of freaky having things the size of bugs crawling all over you fixing you. Even if you knew they wouldn't hurt you they would still probably freak you out." He mused over the thought of bugs crawling over him healing him like a spider and such and how weird they feel.

"Well if you are going to stick around here then we should work together on missions and such. Probably could grab some higher paid missions as it requires two people instead of just one." He thought about some of the jobs he remembered that required more than one person. He was never able to do them as he was always alone but not it seemed that they might be able to work together and move up.

Candy kept playing and teasing the hair batting at it and watching it swing back and forth. Night laid there just enjoying the attention while Rain watched everyone from a distance. As there was nothing to say this time Daiyu just sat there and was happy to have probably made a friend.

Dante nodded, "Sure go grab your stuff. Just don't look at my room. Its a mess, never have had to worry about someone seeing how I lived before." He smiled a bit nervously as he ran his hand through his hair. This was going to be interesting.

He took another big swig and turned around in the chair looking at the computer. He ran a program on the computer that took the stats of the SkullGreymon and ran them out. He now could figure out top speed, armor and all the necessary stats for the Zoid and put it in his Zoid database. Now they won't come up as Uknown anymore. It will come up as SkullGreymon on his radar display.

After that was finished he stood up and walked down stairs to the hanger where the Zoids were. He looked over SkullGreymon, taking in the sight of him. The armor looked good, he looked like he was in top shape. Maybe he would grab some food or make something to eat.

Daiyu smiled and nodded her head, she climbed up to the top of the chair. She ran over the top of the back of it and leaped over to the other chair landing on the arm rest. She ran her hands down her skirt to make sure it was nice and neat. Then she waited for Marcia to pick her up folding her hands in front of her. "Thank you, it will be nice to see how to decorate your room and how you live." She bowed slightly and smiled a bit.

After Dante was finished he walked up stairs and started pulling out some ingredients. Steak sounded good, he liked meat and pasta. So he got them ready and started to grill the steak as the pasta started to boil. He was a decent cook, never had any problems with his food and he liked it. Wondered how Marcia would like it, he shrugged and continued his cooking.

It didn't take too long until the food was approaching completion. He started the sauce, it was ready made stuff. He had prepared it and many days before and refrigerated it. He stretched out and leaned over hitting the comm button for the living quarters. "Food will be completed shortly."

Daiyu looked up at the SkullGreymon and moved closer into Marcia looking up at him. "He's big and doesn't look nice." She spoke softly so he couldn't hear her. He could step on her and break her into tiny little pieces if he really wanted to. So she held on tight to Marcia hoping that he wouldn't step on his own pilot.

She looked around, "You could take the room across from Dante's. That way you will also be close to everything. Its not by much but its something." She nodded, "Or the room next to him has an extra window compared to the other rooms. Depends on what you want." She smiled and nodded.

Candy looked up at the thing and when he was put down he rushed behind Marcia and waited behind her to be finished. When she picked him back up again he was happy and just chilling there.
