Even though I am Catholic,
I believe that gay marriage should be allowed.
You can't control who you are, and it's wrong for people to say that you are immoral just because someone is not like the rest of the world. Gays, lesbians, and even bi-sexuals have been looked down upon because of their sexuality. People wouldn't act this way if someone they loved was gay, lesbian, or bi.
It's so sickening to see innocent people be testified against just because they don't adore the opposite sex. Sometimes I wonder if people realize how this is hurting many Americans. How it's stabbing them in the heart, telling them they can not love who they want to love.
Now, that is immoral.

I'll make my point blunt: Quote: with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness Until someone can prove to me that gays getting married violates their ability to pursue happiness and isn't a limitation on their ability to pursue happiness, I'll be pro-gay marriage.

Considering I am bisexual to my friends (I am still ashamed-even to myself- that I am gay), I do not and will never oppose gay marriage, plain and simple.

and yeah, i agree. gay marriage should be legalized, but as to not offend strict, ah, churchgoers, or anyone of the sort, it should be manditory that they preform the ceremonies off church grounds. because a lot of people have an issue with that.

i think that when you get down to the actual core of the issue its fear. people are afraid of change. i think that if you are in love you can get married. its not hurting anyone. if two men or two women want to get married how dose that effect me or anyone ells for that matter. "Live and let Live" and when it comes to coming out yes its scary and its hard i have helped a friend through it each step of the way and have another who if there parents found out she would be kicked out, but i am a strong believer that if you make a big deal out of it so will every one ells but if you are calm about it so will most. yes there are a few who will flip out but for most if you are calm they will be calm.
