As most of you know, I'm a Giants fan. We need a few things this upcoming draft. Most of all, we need linebackers. We also need a shutdown cornerback that is good in coverage, a physical wide receiver, a backup offensive lineman, and maybe a strong safety. I hope that we get Plaxico Burress back. And I wouldn't mind if we traded around a few picks.
Right now for the first round, I think that we should target either Ray Maualuga (LB, USC) or James Laurinaitis (LB, Ohio State). I hope that we can land either one of them. And for those critics out there, we really don't need to waste a first round pick on a wide receiver. Maybe our latter second rounder at most.

Within the first two rounds, there are a few players that I want the Giants to target. Ray Maualuga. James Laurinaitis. Vontae Davis. Hakeen Nicks. Malcolm Jenkins. Brian Cushing. Kenny Britt. Sean Smith. William Moore. Victor Harris. Patrick Chung. Herman Johnson. Javon Ringer.
...and a few others. But mostly Maualuga, Laurinaitis, Nicks, and Smith.

Austin Shipp laurenitis would be a PERFECT fit for the G-men Yeah, he would be a great fit. He's quick, smart, agile, and good at both rushing the passer, and defending the pass. He would probably start out on the outside, and then work into getting the inside LB job to replace Pierce. ...I just hope that he falls that far down in the draft. confused Maybe we can trade up...

Well...the Super Bowl is now over. The Pro Bowl will come soon. But I'm really looking forward to the NFL draft now! mrgreen

Argus Plexus I'm gonna look forward to the draft when the Pro-Bowl is over. April 25-26, 2009 @ NYC. It's pretty close... I know that the Giants will be very busy. Good draft selections, and maybe some trades. I sure hope that they resolve the Burress case by then...

SexayJ05H eagles need to trade westbrook to get a more consistent back Are you serious? Didn't you say you wanted to be a sportswriter? You should know that Westbrook is probably the most consistent and versatile RB in the NFL right now. Anyways, the Eagles just singed Westbrook to a big contract last season, and they have a good complementary in Correll Buckhalter.
