"S-sorry, I was just curious about you," underneath her fur her skin deepened to a dark red in a blush, "I'm always curious. It is a pleasure to meet you Madoa Waya of the Wolf Clan." She smiled and mused over the interesting female, everyone made markings on themselves? That seems very interesting indeed! Why would they do that?
"Why do you have markings? Are there a lot of lions like you?" Antigone wondered if they all needed to shout to get one another's attention.

"Curiosity is good," Maddie said offhandedly, smiling at the kind greeting she received once she introduced herself- though it was needlessly lengthy, "Just call me Maddie." She said nothing else about her name, the connection it showed to her family, nothing. She was not a very good teacher, and her mind was starting to wander again. These flowers did not have so strong a scent, but it was creeping into her mind nevertheless.
"Like me?" she asked, tilting her head and missing the question preceding it entirely, "Well my family is quite large, they mostly look like me in some way. There are plenty of us around, too, I mean. What do you mean? You'd have to ask.." She shrugged. She was not a very good tour guide.

"I would like to meet others to see if they are like you. I mean act like you, look, and have the same markings," Antigone looked over the lioness' red markings again and bobbed her head in a nod, the lioness had ignored what the markings were for, but that seemed to be apart of the lioness' personality.
"Could you show me the way to other lions?"

Maddie's attention went back to the flowers very slowly but very certainly. She could tell Antigone was no longer interested in her, or so she thought. She was only stating that she wanted to talk to the others to see if they were really like Maddie or not, there wasn't much Maddie could do about that. She could smile and nod, but that certainly wasn't her style. She looked back in the direction they had been headed to get to this patch of flowers, there was another one.. somewhere.. back that way- wasn't there? What color was it she needed again? Or was it the scent? Oh, shoot!
"Hmm-- find the others?" she glanced back again, "They're all around here somewhere, like the flowers, just keep going this way." Not a good tour guide, no, but accidentally helpful, yes. She smiled and started moving again, the flowers. She didn't remember the color or the scent but she had been looking for flowers! Or had it been those funny colored pebbles she'd seen around? No, no! It couldn't be, she wouldn't be in a patch of flowers with several stuck by her neck if that was what she was doing. Of course not!

"Thank you.." I think Antigone saw this as a slight dismissal she looked and watched the lioness start to step away and she followed for a moment, "Thank you Maddie, you were very helpful and I hope we meet again." she was not sure of the female heard her seemed to be back on the flower path but Antigone did not want to be very rude.
She was facts minded and loved to find new and interesting things, like the lovely flowers and the lovely Maddie she liked to examine and gain information and move on..she did not always want to move on she eventually wanted to stay, but it seemed like moving was what she knew a lot about right now and learning more would be exciting.
